Answer: We accelerate time the more quickly we clarify the Reshimot (spiritual genes): each one his particular Reshimot and the collective Reshimot together. Within all of us there are particular Reshimot with whose help the collective Reshimot gets its life. With the Reshimot of the group there is a completely different life in comparison to each particular Reshimo that there is in each one of us.

The Reshimot of the group is called the people of Israel, and the particular Reshimot adapt to the shared condition of each one separately. Our advancement essentially depends upon realizing our collective Reshimot. This is like a ship in which some of the people are going to sleep now, and another part begin their watch.

All of them are in all kinds of different states, but the main thing is that the ship sails ahead because those people who must run it are on duty carrying out their work. The same thing also happens in a group: There are those who must rest, there are those who are even a bit idle, because everyone has their own state. But it’s important that those who are awake now and realizing the Reshimot do it responsibly .

But we need to understand that each one has something to do to realize his part in the work. The collective Reshimot is very important, it’s more important than anything, for the Creator doesn’t take account of each one separately, only with the entire ship, with the complete measure which is called a Minyan.

Less than this is not considered at all. If there is no Minyan, this is a sign of not having attained connection with the others, of not having worked enough. All of the work on the ship is to be in connection all the time, which becomes stronger and stronger, and by this the ship goes forward more and more into the depths of the sea. Some go to sleep and some work, but those who are on duty must be responsible, on guard, and concerned for the entire ship. And the collective Reshimot, which is the center of the group, in the heart of the ship, this is what is accepted, and the higher supervision works on us accordingly.

Question: What is the difference if I realize a Reshimo or if we realize it together?

Answer: I realize my particular Reshimo as a part of the Reshimo of the group. But the Upper Light only considers the Reshimo of the group. As long as this collective Reshimo has not reached a sufficient intensity that makes it possible for us to realize it within our connection, the Light will not be revealed. A private account is not made with any of us.

This is the condition for receiving the Torah as one man with one heart, that is, according to the collective Reshimo. There can be millions of particular Reshimot, but as long as they are not connected into one collective Reshimo required for the next level, we don’t rise to it.

We are now on the level of the animate and we need to realize a Reshimo from the level of the speaking. This is a collective Reshimo that we all gather together, that must be sufficient in quantity and quality. It’s not known exactly what this must be, but it’s only clear that the amount of all of our deeds multiplied by the quality, by the intensity of our effort, must connect into one higher level Reshimo.

All of the inanimate matter is equal to one plant, all of the plants is equal to one animate, and all of the animate is equal to one speaking. Therefore, we also need all of the Reshimot of the animate to connect and give us one Reshimo of the speaking.

And this is called the collective Reshimo of the group, which could include within it a million people below. It doesn’t matter how many there are, the main thing is that our Reshimo will qualitatively attain an intensity of one Reshimo of the next level. Then we will be born.

When we are born into the new world, not one of us will be there, rather there will only be “us.” When you will be born, you will immediately feel a system there that includes you in which you are found together with Rabbi Shimon and Adam HaRishon. Then you will already begin to take account of the souls.

We have to try to see every state that we go through: from the highest to the lowest, from the clearest to the most unclear, confused, and vague, as stemming from the relationship between the Light and the vessel. Therefore, I have to go through them, and the only question is how have prepared myself in order to receive it, to go through it, to overcome it, to exit it, and move forward to a more advanced state.

Everything depends on my preparation, but every state stems from the Reshimot (reminiscences) in me, from the time of the shattering of the general soul as a result of the mutual incorporation in other vessels. Therefore I have to go through all these states one by one.

If I prepare myself properly, I receive all the states with understanding and take preventive steps. I know why these states come and for what purpose, and so I receive them gladly blessing the evil just as I bless the good. It is because each state is given to me in order to help me advance, and I already understand that.

I prepare the support of the group and a clear daily schedule so that at every point of the hardening of the heart, I will be able to perceive correctly what is going on. If certain pleasant or even unpleasant feelings come along, it is simpler to establish the right attitude towards them. But there are many states in which a person doesn’t feel anything and is in a kind of numbness.

Then time passes, days go by, and sometimes even months, as if idly. A person doesn’t feel that he can add or change anything, and this is the worst state.

Indifference is a very big problem. Here we have to have a very strict daily schedule and act mechanically so that we can still gather all the moments and focus them in the right direction as much as one possibly can. There is no feeling, no awakening, and no understanding, but at least I participate in the work by my actions. Then it is considered a whole action.

Therefore it is written: “One should always sell the beams of his house,” no matter what happens to me and what happens to my previous achievements that are called my house, my property, the main thing is I can take one more step forward.

Answer: You can see it according to the feeling of emptiness and the inability to fulfill ourselves. A person begins to ask about the meaning of life because he doesn’t want to have an animal existence.

And if he comes to despair, then he will go crazy.

And this is a critical point from which wars could develop, crises. From a feeling of helplessness, a person is able to perform all kinds of crazy acts, but the main thing is to quiet the feeling of emptiness.

There is nothing worse than an empty place. If there is no love, then there will be a need to fill it with hate. Therefore, we must explain to people where it comes from and why and how it is possible to improve and correct the situation. We need to organize the people, to begin to connect them, to show them that it is possible to overcome this emptiness, which medications and psychological treatments are powerless against.

The only treatment that is able to help is our system of connection. A person tries and suddenly he sees that it really gives fulfillment.

Baal HaSulam,The Arvut (Mutual Guarantee): All of Israel are responsible for one another.

(Sanhedrin, 27b, Shavuot 39): This is to speak of the Arvut (Mutual Guarantee), when all of Israel became responsible for one another. Because the Torah was not given to them before each and every one from Israel was asked if he agreed to take upon himself the Mitzva (precept) of loving others in the full measure, expressed in the words: “Love thy friend as thyself.” This means that each and every one in Israel would take it upon himself to care and work for each member of the nation, and to satisfy all their every needs, no less than the measure imprinted in him to care for his own needs.

Question: How is it possible to guarantee that a friend will not lack anything he needs?

Answer: The group unites and connects according to spiritual conditions that must exist between friends. They need to be concerned that every friend will have everything necessary, which is “neither condemned nor praised,”and it must be for everyone.

And after there is a required minimum, every friend must have an opportunity to invest his forces maximally for attaining the purpose of his life together with the group.

The physical assets must be such as are required for existence and no less. Even from the days of the sages of the Talmud, the requirement for tormenting the body and austerities were abolished. So it is forbidden to limit ourselves intentionally so that the body will suffer.

Everyone needs to arrange his life in this world in order to exist according to the accepted norms in our times. The group must be concerned about this. Certainly a friend cannot fall on the hands of the friends and hope that the group will take care of him.

But if a friend tries by himself, then it is necessary to help him to attain the necessary level required for existence. And then one should invest all the rest of his powers in our connection in order to reveal the Creator in this connection between us.

Question: The family influences every aspect of a person’s life. If a person has a problem in the family, he cannot actively participate in the group or in any kind of work. The more we advance, the more we understand that without the group’s support it is practically impossible to hold on in the framework of the family. How can we establish an environment that will support a person in that respect?

Answer: A family is just like the group. Otherwise it could not exist in this world.

But today there is a crisis in the family and everyone is getting divorced and no one wants to live a normal life. Everyone understands that the traditional family doesn’t exist anymore, which means that a new type of family should emerge.

In the future, people will live with one another partly for the sake of the children, for the common property, but mainly for the idea. If I feel that I advance and my wife advances too, since our goal is above all the daily corporeal differences between us, our family will stand the test of time.

I believe that a person should raise himself to this level when he chooses a partner for life according to this idea.

My teacher, Rabash, used to say that from a physical perspective, it is enough that two young people like each other and the appearance of one doesn’t repel the other and that’s all. Everything else is meaningless since they are spiritual partners.

In order to achieve this, we have to develop the group this way, so that women take part in it, disseminate, and are incorporated into meals and into all group matters.

We should pay attention to them and treat them like partners, so they will feel how important they are and will feel that they benefit from this kind of life and from their participation in it.

By the way, a woman can incorporate into everything very easily, especially if she participates in it with her husband and they share views rather than just physical aspects.

We should pay attention and engage in this. Otherwise, there will be a divorces and the formation of new families. We have no other choice. Even if we had a choice, we would still have to include women in dissemination and in our collective life. Respect them, pay attention to them, and give them a place.

Question: Does a desire for spirituality have to awaken in all people?

Answer: A desire for spirituality will be awakened later, meanwhile people simply want fulfillment: a feeling of  completeness in life, the power of vitality, joy, and inspiration. But they don’t have it. Nothing brings satisfaction any more: neither shopping nor children, neither career nor music, culture, or even soccer.

Up until today, sports were a very big part of fulfillment. All television channels show either sports or food. Yet this will also stop satisfying people. A new level will arrive, and attempts to awaken in people an interest in sports won’t help any more.

Only then can we supply the remedy to humanity. By connecting with our help, people will receive spiritual fulfillment through us, even without being aware of its upper source. Happiness will reach them from the upper Light, yet they will not feel the Light, but simply pleasure. And they will continue to work further on their connection for this and will connect to us even more tightly.

And we will work for them. They will require us to carry out this work for people, through whose help we will rise. After that, they will also discover that lying within the connection is a unique upper force concealed in nature. This collective power of bestowal holds the entire creation and fills the universe like some kind of dark grey matter.

These things are fairly reasonable. Scientists are already saying that the universe contains a concealed force of nature, which we still are unable to perceive, much like dark matter.

This is the source of our life from which we receive the vital force. And so it’s worthwhile to know how to approach it and to improve our lives. It’s up to us to reach real contact with this matter, so much so that we can sink into it, enter into this cloud, and remain in it. This is the best thing that could happen to us! This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah, the method of receiving perfect fulfillment, teaches us.
