Opinion (Viktor Frankl, book):  “Every era generates a unique neurosis. At the beginning of the 20^th century people considered that lack of sexual satisfaction to be the source of all our troubles. Now, however, at the beginning of the 21^st century we are troubled by something else, by our disappointment from life.

“If before a person suffered of an inferiority complex, today he suffers from a feeling of emptiness, a feeling of living a meaningless life.

“An American student wrote that all his friends and relatives in America, young people his age, are trying to understand what they live for in the first place. The disappointment from life also affects people who belong to the older generation, who have successful careers and are considered to be successful people. Now we see more and more clearly that the feeling that life has no meaning is penetrating every aspect of our life. Our animal instincts don’t tell a person what he needs, and traditions don’t teach him what to do anymore, and so not knowing what he needs and how he should live, a person cannot understand what he wants.

“Among the causes of death of American students, after car accidents ranks suicide. 85% of the students who were interviewed did not find any meaning in life. 93% of the students were healthy both physically and mentally and lived at a high standard of living, had good relations with their parents, engaged in social activities and excelled in their studies. A person naturally aspires to determine and to fulfill his goal in life, which is an aspiration for a meaning in life. The aspiration for a meaning in life is not a dream and not self-deception but self-programming that determines a person’s future. This motivation is a unique human attribute. A person thinks about it when all his corporeal needs are fulfilled, which means that the aspiration for a meaning in life is an independent motivation and not the outcome of other needs.

“A person always aspires to exceed the limits of his own personality and is attracted to something greater, whether a goal he has to fulfill or a love of another person. A person opens up either because of his own interest or because of love. The more he dedicates himself to his work or to love of others the more human he is, thus being closer to himself. In fact, a person can discover himself only when he forgets himself, and as a result of self denial.”

My Comment: True fulfillment of the meaning of life is in attaining the source, the Creator. Only then does a person feel that he is filled with the meaning of the eternal, perfect universe. This inclination is embedded in us by nature, by the Creator, and so we have to discover its essence and the method of fulfillment, the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Question: I can understand that egoism is the reason for the crisis, but I don’t see the connection to how we can ascend to some degree as a result. What are the signs that we have to ascend to a new level now and not continue to advance linearly?

Answer:  You can make up whatever you want: different rules and especially social and economic ones. Politicians do whatever they believe to be right, and economists manage everything the way they think things should be, but all this leads to nothing.

We can learn something only if we listen to those who understand the plan of our evolution and its goal, which others cannot see because it isn’t in our ego, not in our nature, not in our thinking, and not in our feelings. The people who feel and attain it have to try to explain it to everyone and the rest of humanity will follow them like small children who follow those who know what is going on. There is no other way. It is like a herd that follows one shepherd who brings the herd to the well or back home. That’s the way it will also be in this case.

Although very few people understand the next phase, all of humanity has to follow them in order to be saved and to reach the right state with minimal losses.

Question: If humanity experienced periods of cultural, scientific, economic, and social advancement in the past, like the Renaissance period for example, or even the 20^th century, is it intentionally sinking to the bottom now? The level of education is dropping: people don’t read books anymore, they watch primitive TV programs, and participate in shallow entertainment programs for the masses.  Many countries have lost the hope of reaching the level of more advanced states, not to speak of the developed countries.

Answer: Personally I look at all this a bit differently. The point is that the law of denial is working here. Before we ascend to the next level there is always a negation, a denial, of the previous level. We have to fully acknowledge the worthlessness of the current stage and stop aspiring for its ideals, goals, and values. Only then do we begin to understand the next level, which in our case is a special level of development, since we have to totally change our attitude to our life.

If in the past we changed one social development to another, like the regime of slavery to the feudal regime, and then feudalism to capitalism, etc., it all advanced in one direction, in one channel. Now we experience a totally different state. We rise to a new qualitative level where all our nature works in a different direction, not according to the straight line we advanced along, but in a totally different direction.

We will use our nature not in order to enjoy increasingly greater achievements but so that these achievements will be totally different. Here a person has to reach a level where he is not interested in life inside life but in life above life. That’s the main thing.

Therefore, the alienation everyone feels towards everyone is coercive, no one controls it: not the banks, not businessmen, and not the government. The actual law of nature controls it and it brings a person to a feeling of absolute indifference regarding his previous values.

Gradually we begin to prefer totally different things that cannot be attained by linear egoism, but on a level above it. In order to do so we have to be connected above our animal needs so that we will provide ourselves with all the basic necessities but only in order to exist with dignity. As for our impulses, our ideals will be much higher and only the minimal care for our physical body will sustain us in this world, while our true internal human essence will not come down to wanting to satisfy our body but to wanting to attain the next level of the development of society and the universe. Then we will discover a new society and a new universe.

In that case, we totally change our attitude towards our life, and so the previous level is dead. And not only is the previous level dead, but all our previous history from the time the first elementary particle was created until today is dead.

This means that our attitude towards history is dead and there is a totally new attitude towards the world, towards life. There is the attainment of its internal structure, the attainment of the internal plan of the creation, the attainment of the force that manages everything! You can call it the Creator, God, it makes no difference, but this is where we are headed.

Therefore, the alienation, the frustration, the inertia, and the fall of humanity to a passive lifestyle is simply necessary. I see it as a great move and a big step forward.

“That will lead to the most historic wealth destruction ever in global stock, with bond and property markets declining at least 75 – 95 percent. World trade will also contract dramatically and we will see massive hardship across the globe….the Social Security safety net that people in the West have been used to will disappear. Eventually the total money printing will be in the hundreds of trillions and possibly even quadrillions of dollars. That will be the final phase of taking the value of today’s paper money to its intrinsic value, which is zero. Virtually all paper currencies are already down 97 – 99 percent against gold in the last 100 years since the Fed was founded. So there is only 2 – 3 percent left that has yet to disappear.”

My Comment: Just as I always say, the system of management of our world, of our ego, is entirely the same on all levels of nature (still, vegetative, animate, and speaking), and so the crisis is being revealed in our world simultaneously in all areas, from ecology to our lives. A higher management conducts all the parts of nature, beginning with the human, the highest, smartest, and most sensitive creature towards whom is directed all of the activity and influence of this management, to all the strata and parts of nature. Since everything depends upon humans, it is up to them to bring our entire world, all of the systems, into balance. But as long as we haven’t started to do this, then the general collapse, the Armageddon, will approach us. The collapse is coming not to annihilate us but to force us to bring nature into balance.

“Today 1% of the population of the world are the richest citizens and have the same level of income available to 3.5 billion of the poorest people.

“On the other hand, the social security systems that are well-calculated can cause an increase in the income of the population and its internal consumption for development of human capital and production. However, to our great sorrow, as indicated by information from the International Labor Organization, today 76% of the general population of the world lives without social support and adequate security.”

My Comment: Governments will have no choice but to provide the required products and services for the entire population, the working and the unemployed. While this will not eliminate the deterioration of the population, it may lead to the awareness of the necessity for Integral Education. Otherwise, it will arouse conflicts that are liable to push towards civil or world wars.

If humanity does not accept the method of connection which the wisdom of Kabbalah is offering, then it will simply collapse. In the end, we will still realize the necessity for unity, but at the cost of horrible blows.

It is like children who do not want to listen to their parents who are urging them to be friendly with each other. After many quarrels and bruises, they will nevertheless gradually understand that it is impossible to play and develop alone and they will step onto the right path.

But such a path to connection is called the path of suffering. The wisdom of Kabbalah warns us that this path encompasses nuclear world wars, enormous suffering, famine, and epidemics. The lack of our connection is evoking such changes in the climate of the planet that soon there will be another ice age. Kabbalists tell us that if humanity will not want to unite voluntarily, they will have to do it nevertheless, but only with a small handful of people who survive after all these terrible events, and they eventually come to unification.

The fact is that unity is a goal of the entire evolution of nature, not just people. All forms of nature need to connect together into one harmonious whole. In all parts of nature: in stones, plants, animals, and in people, harmony should prevail in such a way that all these levels complete and support one another. It is written in Prophets that at the end of correction of the world, a wolf will dwell peacefully with a lamb, and a small boy will lead them.

Having achieved such harmony, unity, connection, and balance, this world will transform from the multitude of different parts into one organism. And a body that senses itself as one whole begins to feel a higher level of its existence that is called the Creator, the upper force. The higher level of nature contains a program, as if it is a big computer, a brain that operates us and leads us to unity and connection, whether through a path of suffering, or due to us uniting of our own accord.

The first time that humanity began to feel the need for the method of unification was in ancient Babylon. Until then, unity was natural, since they lived as one nation sharing everything. Although there were many different communities, ethnic groups, and family clans in this ancient nation, they all lived in peace and harmony. Egoism was very small.

But then egoism suddenly grew suddenly, and at that time they began to feel how divided they were and how much they lacked unity. Thus they understood the need for a method of connection. All this happened about 3,500 years ago. Part of the Babylonians felt the need for this method, and since then the wisdom of Kabbalah, which explains how to do it, became revealed.

Question: What will happen when we succeed in publicizing the Integral Education method in the world? Will there be abundance in the world, will everyone have food, a comfortable life, and no need to work more than two hours per day?

Answer: We will get more than this: we will correct and refine ourselves in such a way that we won’t need to work at all. It’s not that machines will work for us, but in general, this physical world will evaporate, we will move on to a world of forces instead of a world of imaginary objects.

We will begin to use all of our knowledge, all of science and strength for the benefit of humanity, according to a mutual agreement that is accepted in society. A transition like this will happen gradually to the degree of the readiness of society.

Question: Which is to say, even the crisis in medicine and the incorrect usage of medicines will also be corrected and transformed into a good use?

Answer: There will be a good use of drugs, until their use disappears entirely. We won’t need the drugs themselves. But in the intermediate stages we certainly use only beneficial drugs. You will not be able to give harmful drugs and poison people whom you feel are like relatives.

Question: I don’t understand, how could the climate crisis disappear, the threatening and frightening phenomena that are liable to happen? Is nature also connected to our success in disseminating Integral Education?

Answer: If you establish balance on the “speaking” level, it will influence the level of forces on all levels under it. The whole problem is that we don’t feel these forces. If 150 years ago I had shown you an electric battery, you would not believe or understand that some kind of power can be found in it. In those times you would have understood the power of fire, a rod, dynamic energy, potential energy, but not electrical energy.

Today, you understand that electricity is powerful and you believe that a battery can operate a large machine. But if I had shown you a small box then and and told you that this is an atomic bomb that contains the power to incinerate all of Manhattan, you would not believe me. You would certainly laugh, because you know the size of Manhattan.

But today you already believe if some regular car arrives on Fifth Avenue containing a small box that explodes, all of Manhattan could turn back into a Native American village. A hundred years ago this would seem impossible, but today we have gotten smarter and a situation like this seems absolutely realistic.

Also, the same thing is relevant regarding more hidden forces; these are spiritual forces that also operate in the world. They are much more hidden and billions of times stronger than atomic energy. These forces don’t just “operate” on this world, they run it!

Question: Can they stop the glaciers from melting?

Answer: If we bring ourselves back into balance with nature, then all the levels found below us will also be in balance.

Question: And everyone will be able to see these forces?

Answer: Those who attain, those who are prepared for this internally, will see these forces. For this it is necessary to construct an internal device inside of you.

It is possible to understand this by comparing the religions that nourish these various cultures. My Comment: There is a solution to our common problem, the transition to the next stage of the development of civilization: all participate in this transition together, i.e.,  implementing a universal united civilization, the unity of the entire world, each one on his level, as described in the wisdom of Kabbalah.

And then nobody will suffer; rather, everyone will rise happily to the level of discovery of the Creator: “…and all nations shall flow unto it” (Isaiah 2:2), “…for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them” (Jeremiah 31:33), “…for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isaiah 56:7).

Question: Why has so much hatred been revealed in the world lately?

Answer: It is because our egoism is developing very intensely, exponentially, and lately it is rising on an unprecedented sharp, upward curve. Every moment is radically different in its nature from its predecessor, and the acceleration and depth of the discovery of egoism is the main characteristic of nature.

So, it is not surprising that egoism will continue to be discovered more deeply, clearly, and acutely. People will shamelessly begin to demand what is theirs, knowing precisely what they want. And even though they understand that they will not succeed in attaining anything, with all their might they will insist upon what is theirs. The ego will force a person to be rigid and unreasonable, even though everyone will begin to convince himself of its inappropriate demands. And that is how it will be for each one of us.

This is being expressed today, specifically because in the present stage of development, humanity has reached the end of the realization of its earth’s history. We need to rise to the next level of existence where we will feel ourselves, not as physical bodies living in an environment of the substance of the still, vegetative, and animate levels, which is supposedly our home, but in the form of forces that are not limited by physical bodies. So now we need to depart from our beastly state.

And in order to obligate us to begin to be engaged with development outside of our bodies, to forget them, and to stop feeling them, the egoism of our bodies, of our lives, of our consciousness is being revealed. It will push us forward towards a situation where our egoistic drives will be perceived by us as disgusting, an abomination, and this is not because we will become idealists, but because we feel how much our evil nature directs us. In other words, we won’t begin to run away from egoism, but will simply be unable to be at peace with it because we will see how from morning to evening it gives us commands, spurs us on, pushes us forward, throws us on the ground, and drags us up.

This means that it forces us to exist in an absolutely useless form in which we invest energy that brings us only suffering, despair, and disappointment. Nature, or more precisely its program, is leading us to this, according to which we need to ascend spiritually precisely at a time of full disappointment in the egoistic system of management, and we must demand a new and different system of management. But it will be discovered in us through that same ego.

Therefore, the ego is called a “helpmate against him” (Genesis 2:18). It is said specifically about Pharaoh, who symbolizes the ego, that he brought the children of Israel closer to the Creator through his coarse and cruel actions. The present terrible, egoistic opposition of all people, nations, and countries, the absolute disappointment in everything, the deterioration of the foundation of our world and the economy, which has guided the world for thousands of years, indicates that the ego has exhausted itself on all levels.

Presently, hatred will reach its limit, but simultaneously it will bring powerlessness and disappointment. Why should I kill, burn, and annihilate someone? There was a time during the Crusades, that this seemed like the solution to the problem, whereas today, it doesn’t! So it is necessary to look at the whole process from the point of view of the benefit that is received from all stages of development.

The age of oil is reaching its end in these days, and this is not because we have run out of oil, but because the gas revolution is happening.

“The lowering of the price of oil has led to a severe crisis in Russia and all over the Arab world, the shale spring will bring a collapse of the rest of the Arab world. The Arab nations will fall, powerful tribes will hold onto weaponry and will begin conquering cities and towns, killing and robbing. The economy of Dubai will collapse in the year 2015, Jordan will disappear within a year and for Iran we expect serious upheavals on an ethnic and political background. Hamas and Hezbollah will lose their power and influence. In a world in which there will be no lack of energy resources, there will be no money to maintain them. That is how the era of technology begins, something that will give strong advantages to Israel.

“The gas revolution will transform the United States into the greatest manufacturer of the production of oil and gas, something that leaves Middle Eastern policy in their hands. This is the beginning of the end of paradise for the valueless oil principalities, the feudal totalitarianism of the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, the economy of these nations was entirely based upon the price of oil. The citizens of these nations don’t work; all of the work for them is done by foreign workers. A structure like this will not maintain its position in a period of economic upheavals. And even though the principalities of the Arabian Peninsula will be supplied with sufficient money to hold onto their position for another few years, it is doubtful if within these few years they will be able to change and rebuild their economy. The moment that the money runs out, riots and unrest will begin.

“In another year or two the United States will be ready to export gas and oil, the Arab nations will become an energy source for competitors. The geopolitical priorities of the United States will change. So the Saudis are presently found in a panic, because their foreign policy was based on American dependence on their oil. They will relinquish their financing of global terrorism, the violation of human rights and the absolute lack of democracy in their nations. A few years ago a barrel of oil rose to 150 dollars; since then the prices have lowered by two-thirds. At a price above 40 dollars per barrel, the production of energy from gas becomes more profitable. This means that the Saudis can return to their previous position only if they lower the price to 30 dollars per barrel.

“Russia is also experiencing a strong crisis because of this revolution. But the chance of changing and rebuilding the Russian economy are better than they are for our Arab neighbors, who have simply forgotten what it is to earn a living. The period of innovations, nano-technologies and high-tech has arrived, the beginning of the era of Israel; whether our neighbors like it or not.”

My Comment: In the meantime, Israel will arouse a much greater instability in the world than all of the other peoples and nations in the world together. As the wisdom of Kabbalah explains, this is happening precisely because the destiny of Israel is not the victory over our neighbors with innovations, nano-technologies, and high-tech, it is in demonstrating to the world the idea, theory, and practice of the union of everyone above the global ego. This method doesn’t exist for anyone except the people of Israel, and specifically this is what is required for the world, and not new technology, enrichment, and control. Specifically, if Israel will provide the gift of the technology of connection and union to the world, then it and the world will continue to exist!
