The Raspberry Ball

The “raspberry ball” is totally, absolutely losing all individual attitude to the friends. We take off all our garments of the physical body, and inner qualities of everything that we have received from nature; only the spark remains, the Reshimo, inherent in everyone, everyone’s spiritual core, his aspiration for unity.

If I still distinguish a different attitude, differences between us, then it is not a group. The group is when all the friends are equal, when I see no difference between them. They are all Reshimot; everyone is striving to reach unity.

During the first stage of the introduction to mutual guarantee, the Creator just brings us to connection and it is a rather theoretical state. On the other hand, to form the raspberry ball, we should already actively connect with everyone. The work with the raspberry ball starts with the efforts not to see any differences between friends and ends when all of them unite into one.

If we are united as a homogeneous group as the landing party, similar to other connections that people create in this world, it is not yet “one.” Indeed, in a physical unity of this kind, everyone wants to reach a goal; everyone has his own goal, and everyone is ready to unite for the sake of his individual goal.

We do not act like that. Here, everyone has to cancel himself for the sake of unity with others, giving up individual goals.

In this self-annulment, we don’t lose our mind or feelings but gain the mind of the entire group that is called “as one man with one heart.” One collective desire is revealed in which everyone feels his individual properties. Like in the system of cogwheels, he begins to spin with everyone, without pressure, and from here he understands how they rotate and why. This means “to know what the friend has in the heart.” Everyone knows this differently, according to his properties.

Thus we come to the raspberry ball.

Overcoming the Ego with the Help of the Environment

Having attained a certain point of mutual guarantee, I hold on to it, value it, enjoy it, and want to develop in it. But as a result of the Light that Reforms that I summon, this point begins to grow in a way that is not desirable.

The Light never operated so as to simply bring me to Ein Sof (Infinity), to correction. On the contrary, according to its plan, in its relations with the vessel, it has to show me how opposite I am from it. So to the extent that I make efforts to unite, my yearning, my work, and my efforts turn into darkness.

The moment I accept mutual guarantee as the mutual unity that has to dwell between us in spirituality, the place where we feel that we are together and not separated, the obstacles called egoism are revealed. This egoism is no longer part of this world, but is actually the real egoism that is revealed in contrast to our unity, our connection, and our mutual guarantee.

All the discernments during the descent are merely an indication of how weak we are when it comes to mutual guarantee, and nothing but that. Here the mutual guarantee of the next level is revealed: What is the connection between mutual guarantee and the Creator? What is His attitude towards this? How does He dress in it? How can our mutual guarantee depict Him to me? And so on.

There are two types of mutual guarantee that operate during the states of descent and ascent, and it is the gap between them that determines the height of the level you reach.

Thus we advance. On one hand I should feel the influence of the Light on me as much as possible, and on the other, I should clarify this feeling: “Where does it come from and why? How can I turn it to its opposite form and advance to the desired state?” Later these two discernments become the head and the body of the Partzuf: The head determines what happens to the body and how it should operate. But this is only if you control the desire.

In the meantime you constantly try to look at yourself from the side as well: What is happening to you? What is the Light doing to you? How do you change and how should you change? How should you respond to each and every state?

On one hand it occupies your whole mind and all your feelings, and you experience such states which you simply don’t know how to exit. But on the other hand, you should know that the Creator sends you these states so that you will solve the problems that are created only in the connection with Him and with the goal. The solution to the problems begins with the fact that the goal is the resemblance to and the equivalence of form with the Creator and this is more important than the problem. On the whole, everything is less important than mutual guarantee.

The key to mutual guarantee is the recognition of the importance of the goal. It is because mutual guarantee is a kind of inner feeling which we have to attain: I determine the inner state and how it depicts the new reality. It isn’t just the point of our unity; it expands and becomes the point of the new reality. It is this recognition of the importance of the goal that sustains it and develops it.

We have to constantly clarify what we need and what we don’t in order to raise the importance of the idea of mutual guarantee.

From this point, we return to the greatness of the group and its effect on us. This effect should be versatile; we should use envy, lust, honor, ambition, everything that can pressure me, push me, and shake me. This should be the way everyone operates on everyone else.

In order to better understand the process of educating a person, we have decided to present the nine phases that the public goes through with the analogous root in the nine phases for those who study the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Familiarization with the Concept of Mutual Guarantee

The feeling of mutual guarantee appears when a person feels the group and not himself, when the concept of a group seems great to him and dominates him, replacing the feeling of the self. This is exactly how the feeling of the self disappears and the concept of the group appears. This doesn’t weaken a person because the feeling of mutual guarantee is stronger and is actually above us.

This feeling is attained by mutual help, by everyone’s mutual bestowal upon each of the friends. Everyone wants to identify with the group, join it, embrace, and be incorporated in it, to be as one man in one heart and one mind. Everyone feels that he has to dissolve among the friends without a trace. Everyone wants to drown in the group. And all help each other in this.

Each of us turns to all the friends and together we speak about one thing: about how to connect. How to imagine the good mutual connection between us, the way it was before the shattering of the vessels: one vessel, one desire, one thought, one intention, one feeling, where everyone feels the others as if they are one whole.

We shouldn’t clarify the negative aspects because we want to establish the positive ones, Noah’s Ark. We want to rise from this world, so why should we penetrate it even deeper and delve into it?! We only want the good. The Creator brings a person to the good fate and says: “Take it.” What do we need the bad fate for?! We don’t want to know how opposite we are from others. We must unite in order to exit to spirituality. We unite and that’s it, period.

We reach a state, as it is said: “as one man in one heart,” “all of Israel are friends.” Then we complete this action. So the first phase is the phase of mutual guarantee: We become one whole.

At first glance there is nothing left to do afterward, but it is clear that we only speak about mutual guarantee according to the principle of “the end of the action is in the initial thought.” The road before us may be long because we have to establish ourselves. It is thanks to this self-construction that we come to know the Creator.

A person comes to an educational course as a result of a certain need. First he doesn’t understand where he is. Then as time goes by, he accumulates different impressions and feels the excitement in connection and unity time and time again, to such an extent that he begins to cry in the circle.

Eventually he feels that he has caught fate by the tail and that he has an exceptional chance to improve his life and the life of those around him. The goal of bringing the world to unity becomes so sublime that he is ready to dedicate his time to it.

A person who begins to study the wisdom of Kabbalah expects a similar process. First he wants to know about the structure of the worlds and has no desire to hear anything about unity. Gradually he feels a growing desire to read articles about the group, but only about the fact that we will feel good together, like in a synchronized society or a team.

We gradually move from the message about the group to the message about unity, mutual guarantee, without clarifying why we need it yet.

Then we yearn to be as one in the group, and we understand that all our yearnings and longings have to bring us to unity with the Creator, according to the law of the equivalence of form.

As we yearn for unity with the Creator we discover that we don’t have the power to do so and we begin to realize that the only way to receive forces is from an external source. Why do we suddenly think about that? Because this is how the system is arranged: When you complete a certain part, it places the next part before you.

We have to achieve this state in our work with the external environment, with the public, so that we feel that these people are like our own children. Then, having no other choice, we will turn to the Creator with a request concerning them.

Once again we understand that as a result of the law of cause and effect, all this is done so that we will be able to focus on Him, so that all of humanity, everything that exists in reality, will focus on Him, yearn for Him, and want to delight Him, so the created beings will go through the process of evolution and will eventually realize that He is actually the One who has created all of creation as the absolute good. Thus, everyone will reach unity with Him.

Question: How will the world look when we reach the final correction of humanity?

Answer: All of humanity in itself will constitute one whole unity and live within a single desire, a single mind which absorbs and encompasses it.

As people unite and begin to rise above their egoism; as a result, they consequently develop completely different ways of feeling themselves and the surrounding space.

They will begin to deepen the connection between them and be detached from this world for they will no longer waste their effort on concerns about attaining the necessities in this world.

Today, 1% – 2% of humanity could supply everything required for all the inhabitants of the globe, yet not with the excesses that now fill the markets, but only with necessary products. This would require a rather small production modernization that the current governments do not want to engage in for various reasons. Together with this, people will live reasonably and well without thinking about basic needs.

The remaining 99% of the population will begin to be involved with strengthening their inner connections through which new worlds, dimensions, and universes will be revealed to us.

The material world will begin to disappear from our feelings because it will begin to be less and less required by our senses and we will be dependent upon it less and less. In the end, when we reach full mutual integration between us, it will cease to exist. We will be found only within our mutual interaction through which the one and only force that existed before the Big Bang and which created us will be revealed. It will connect us and grasp us with absolute revelation.

Humanity must reach a state of balance and equivalence with this force that constitutes the inner force of our nature.

Question: Every entrepreneur aspires to find new customers. Typically this is done through advertising. But a recent poll shows that 80% of businesses have reduced their advertising budgets to zero because advertising doesn’t work. What is the role of the media in this context?

Answer: The main role of all of communications media is to connect people. Where are the media? What work do they do?—the completely wild media works against the general population.

So first of all it is necessary to rebuild the media. Imagine how the general picture of the world would change if the cities would engage the media in the education and upbringing of the population.

And financing this will be businesses because the media will be involved with socially useful work, in the normal work of the population rather than trying to sell everyone things they don’t need and that don’t bring any benefit. The population will straighten out with the help of the media; the atmosphere in the city will begin to be changed; it will be worthwhile to pay for this.

In fact, everything depends on those businessmen who manage the communications media because they provide the work for the media, they pay!

If  businessmen unite, they can dictate their price and “call the tune.” Therefore the media will not be able to operate like before, because they will need to charge a reasonable price for processing the right information, according to its availability and delivery. This is their role. If they don’t succeed in doing this, they will fold.

In a general way, I think this restructuring is already in its infancy.

Question: Is it possible to develop an integral model of the economy?

Answer: In order to develop a model of an integral economy, people need “corrected intelligence,”  thoughts that will have an altruistic direction. He must stand on another level of his inner development. To the degree that people will be re-educated in a conscious manner, to that degree ideas of the right changes for all social relationships will appear in them: economic, political, and others. Therefore, whatever models that will be created now will absolutely not be useful for the integral society.

It is not necessary to establish anything in advance. This was the mistake of the Soviet government that decided to compel everyone to be altruistic through starvation, oppression, and the KGB, and not education.

Question: But wasn’t this the mistake of Marx and Engels?

Answer: No! Marx wrote correctly! After him opportunists appeared who reinterpreted his writings. Whereas Marx wrote that first it was obligatory to re-educate people and only to the degree of their education could they create a correct communistic society.

Historically, how did all models evolve? First someone planned them and after that they were created? No! Humanity developed naturally and permanently transformed its social, political, economic, commercial, and other connections.

It’s the same here, it is impossible to plan and establish something in advance. A person can never describe the next step ahead, because he is not yet in it. And even if he is in it, so what can he explain to those people who are on the previous level? They cannot build what is characteristic of the next level.

First they themselves must rise to it in their understanding, awareness, and feeling and decide which changes are imperative for that given moment in time. They will gather together and say: “Now we need to change this and now that.” And gradually they will be changed.

This is evolution and it must be revealed from within. We only hasten the process so that evolution will not advance rigidly as it did for thousands of years, when the powers of nature pushed us from behind with a stick towards happiness. We want to yearn and advance forward ourselves.

But all in all, the angles of transformation will be derived only from a conscious need; otherwise, this will be the same KGB, oppression, and dictatorship.

Suppose that we were to create a method for changing society now. And then what? We would obligate everyone to put it into practice? But this would be the same oppression, dictatorship, and violence. This is no longer education or upbringing. Therefore, we call our method Integral Education and Information for the public. It cannot come from above!

There is no reason to turn to historians, philosophers, and the like. In what way can they help us? Would this be through today’s usual exercises that don’t work anymore? From them only examples from the past can be taken, but they don’t know anything about the future.

Question: Can an entrepreneur within the business community of company executives raise the respect for relinquishing surpluses, reserves, and privileges?

Answer: I think we will gradually reach this. Businesses connect with billions of other small businesses: suppliers, buyers, etc. so in any case,  they will still be egoistic.

They cannot suddenly change to another path and manage in another way. Businesses will remain the same, all the surpluses and reserves initially should go into a general fund to be distributed to social programs for the community.

We are speaking about mitigating the egoistic atmosphere that prevails in the world today. It must be aimed towards bringing the entire society into a certain balance, where we gradually reduce the individual ego of each person and compensate for this by building good and proper feelings within the environment where a person who works for the sake of society will be respected. And the entire community will treat such a person and his family with respect and reverence.

When an environment like this is created around a businessman, inevitably he begins to think that a much lower salary than before is enough for him. An average income will make it possible for him to trim all of the “extra fat” from himself, without losing comfort, and to pass on the benefit to those around him, replacing the excess money with respect and love.

Question: Several thousand years ago there was a sharp jump in human evolution that increased the population of the globe five-fold and gross domestic product production by 55 times. Exponential growth began. Obviously, at this point, people thought that this was the achievement of a golden era where there would be everything for everyone.

Answer: How could this happen on a small and limited planet if we exist only through its resources?

Now a trend of a sharp reduction of the Earth’s population has begun: Divorce and life without marriage is encouraged and people don’t want more than one child in the family. Within one generation, the population has been reduced by half. Moreover, this also concerns those nations that traditionally had many children.

Today, there are between 30 to 50 percent of the population on Earth is single. Recently, I visited many nations where we arranged conferences, and each time I was interested in the marital status of the audience. The average age hovered around 30 years.

70% of the men and women were single, and only a few of them wanted to have a family. That is how the ego is acting within humans: not wanting to take greater responsibility upon itself. Why should it take on a burden of a family and children?

The infinite growth of the ego has reached its limit and is starting to wind down and eat itself up. Therefore, we don’t want to take on any extra obligations. People want to be free. They have no need of a family for their personal comfort as in the past. In fact, a man buys ready-made food warmed in a microwave and this is enough for him.

Even if children are desired,  this can be solved through methods of artificial insemination, and there is no problem. Partners can be switched easily. Moreover, non-traditional relationships are encouraged. All this has led to people no longer have families and children. This is a planned, sharp decline in the global population.

Furthermore, the problem of unemployment—like in Spain, for example—doesn’t allow many people to raise families, even though, in principle, they have an inner inclination, a tradition, and everything else. Unemployed professionals, even on the European level, cannot afford to raise a family, for they don’t have the means to provide for it.

Today there is a huge backlog of technology in the world. However, we cannot implement up-to-date technological developments because if they are used in industry, millions of people will immediately lose their jobs; robotics can replace everything.

I visited several new farms in Israel; there are no people there. Irrigation management, crop harvesting, and produce packing in crates are all done by a computer with a clock mechanism; there is not one single person.

Question: Meaning, on the one hand, there is automation, simplification of the work, increase in production, and from this of course also profit is higher, but at the same time, there is a process of increasing unemployment. A plan for retraining or reorganization people does not exist.

Answer: There is no plan, and it’s also not required! They are released not in order to work in another factory, but in order to study how to ascend to the next level of existence. It is offered to us by nature!

Nature has a specific plan. We see that evolution is not just a series of casual events but a chain of consistent forced actions in which all the pluses and minuses, all kinds of molecules, connect and interact. We have to understand this and follow along with it! Therefore, we come to a state where a person must ascend to the next level. This is precisely what the method of integral education and upbringing is intended for.
