Question: What is the meaning of the instruction “Remember this day in which you went out from Egypt” in a person’s inner spiritual work?
Answer: It is written in The Zohar (Parashat Bo, §121) that “the Exodus from Egypt is mentioned 50 times in the Torah.” Moreover, it is said that every day a person must see themselves as if they are leaving Egypt, because all of our spiritual work revolves around Egypt.
A person’s spiritual work in correcting their egoistic nature begins with the state of Abraham—the initial spark of the quality of bestowal. But how can this quality be developed?
This is why the question of Abraham to the Creator arises: “How shall my descendants inherit the great land?” (Parashat Lech Lecha). Meaning, how can I develop within myself (my descendants—my future states) a great desire for bestowal and love so that I may receive all of Your light?
The answer (from the Creator to Abraham) follows: “Know that your descendants will be in exile for 400 years.”
These 400 years represent the four levels of egoism. In other words, the Creator tells a person that they will completely immerse themselves in egoism and thus acquire a desire equal to the light of infinity.
At first, you will be filled with the desire to absorb everything for yourself, but then you will recognize that it is corrupt and wish to break free from it. And upon leaving it, you will begin to correct it—from egoism to bestowal. This is what it means to leave Egypt and enter the Holy Land.
Thus, by gradually correcting the acquired egoism, a person ascends 125 spiritual degrees until reaching complete correction (Gmar Tikkun).
In this way, our entire spiritual journey consists of three stages.
Everything revolves around Egypt: part of our path is before it, and part is after. Egypt is the central point.
Therefore, every day a person must feel that they are leaving Egypt; meaning, every day they take a part of their egoistic desire, correct it, and receive new light within it. This is what is called a new day.
And so the process continues through all the spiritual levels.
Fifty times is the exodus from Egypt mentioned in the Torah.

Comment: In principle, I understand that our reality is a dream, but it is still impossible to treat it as such.
My Response: We need to perceive this reality a little differently, in a more composite way and try to illuminate it from multiple angles that take into account other states as well.
This is what society, science, crises, and everything we are going through demand of us today. Otherwise, we will not understand our world. We must envision and comprehend it differently, not as an ordinary person does, but at a slightly higher level. Life demands this of us.
The fact is that our everyday life, even its most mundane aspects, requires us to understand this life, this world, its causes, and its purposes. We see that we understand nothing of what is happening in our world and cannot reach any solutions.
Neither politicians, sociologists, nor political analysts can offer anything. We need to rise above because we have simply lost our way like a herd that is leading ourselves to some kind of precipice with no way forward while pressure builds from behind. Perhaps humanity needs to go in a completely different direction.
That is, our present, illusory, however we define reality, forces us to wake up, change, and recognize it as just one among many in order to understand the cause and effect of our state.
It is easy to say that five billion years ago the universe emerged, half a million years ago the Earth, sometime later life on Earth, and in another million years, either sooner or later, it will all end. So what? Is that all?
If so, then we confine ourselves to an earthly animalistic framework? But what if life compels us to resolve this problem? And although in our earthly, animal existence, we only care for the body, which is why we call such a life an animal existence, we are still not allowed to remain in it. We must find the true meaning of life; otherwise, we will suffer. Nature will force us to do so.

Question: Do I understand correctly that I must fill in and correct the qualities of my friends?
Answer: Of course, these are your qualities!
Question: How exactly should we relate to this? People have different personalities. Let us say I see a scoundrel or someone good. How do I interact and connect with them?
Answer: You can see how confusing this is. Now you will ask: “If I see others as a part of me, should I correct them or myself? If they correct themselves, they will be corrected in me. If I correct myself, they will be corrected on the outside. What should we do?”
I understand all this confusion, but none of this is necessary because it will lead you to all sorts of philosophies that will only distance you from the necessary practical actions. Ultimately, you will not achieve anything; you will only be confused or brag to others about how smart you are.
That is why Kabbalah is against it! First, it limits the portions given to people in the measure they can implement correctly. You do not need more. What for? Otherwise, it is all nonsense, philosophy.
In addition, there are some things a person simply cannot perceive correctly, which confuse him even more. This is not allowed. If you start telling an unprepared person about quantum physics and all sorts of variables beyond time, he will say you are not in your right mind.

What is the Egyptian exile? It is the revelation of self-love within a person!
And the exodus from Egypt is when I gain the ability to feel love for my neighbor within myself for the first time.
I will be able to leave Egypt only if I truly want to gain the power of love for others.
The essence of the future liberation, as Baal HaSulam writes in the article “About Yehuda,” must be clear while still in exile. You must understand what you want, what you define as your exile, from what?
If exile for you is being enslaved by love for yourself and liberation is gaining the power to love others, the ability to unite and become a single soul as it was before the shattering of Adam in order to reveal the Creator in unity, in that case, you are truly in a state of exile and ready for liberation; and it comes to you!
If you have prepared your desires, the light that returns to the source appears and takes you out of egoism. Everything depends only on your desire to get free from your egoistic concerns!
This is what exile is intended for. That is why we are not ready for liberation, because it lies only in this! Spirituality is bestowal. If we want it, it means we are ready to be liberated.
We are now extending our exile because we do not consider it exile and slavery! We feel comfortable in it!
We just want more money, power, fulfillment; leave us alone with your love for your neighbor. We do not desire it!
Hell, on the contrary, is the inability to bestow. Heaven and hell are far from ordinary human conceptions. A man wants neither heaven nor hell and does not feel them within himself.
This means he is neither a sinner nor a righteous person but simply an animal that is not in exile.
A sinner knows he is an egoist because he desires to become a righteous person, one who bestows. Therefore, he calls his uncorrected state hell.
A righteous person who has achieved the qualities of bestowal and love feels himself in heaven!

Question: You talk about group work, but in the past, Kabbalists did not really work in a group, did they?
Answer: No, it is just that back then, there was not yet a state where people felt that they had exhausted all efforts, but still were not progressing, there was no state of group despair where you feel like you have reached a dead-end and do not know what to do next.
People have always gone through stages like this. We disseminate Kabbalah, we take action, we feel important, in charge, we are so wise. But then reach a point where we say: “And now what? We have nothing”—that kind of state had not yet appeared.
I was waiting for it. I prepared The Book of Zohar for this moment. I prepared practically 70% of The Zohar before we even started reading it. It has been a very long journey.
But now the time has come when we are beginning to feel the need for inner movement, inner tension. A large part of the group, people who have been advancing for years, who have gone through all the articles multiple times, absorbed all the material, disseminated Kabbalah everywhere, traveled the world, connected with friends globally, has essentially realized and exhausted everything at this level. So, what is next?
This is precisely the point where the real situation arises, where we can say: “Guys, enough playing around! You see that nothing external will help. Now it is either we rise or nothing.”
Of course, we can continue as we are. We can disseminate Kabbalah, feel like a global academy, a worldwide community promoting good ideas. But in reality, this will not bring us anything real.
To move forward, we need a group revelation of the Creator, not an individual one. That is why I started working in this direction.
Question: Are we truly standing at this threshold—either up or down?
Answer: No, not “either up or down.” We will not fall. We will continue moving, but we will stay on the same plane instead of taking the shortest path.
Either we will truly start merging our points, uniting through the help of the Creator, and filling ourselves with Him, or we will keep moving forward slowly—another book, another clip, another small step, slowly spreading.
Of course, this is still existence, and it is certainly better than purely animalistic existence where one only thinks about their physical body while it is alive.

Question: When you say something in a lesson, you emphasize to everyone that this depends on you and that depends on you, and so on. I hear it too and wonder why you don’t connect everything together?
Answer: I address them because this way I enter their reality. I speak to them on the level of their reality.
If you and I were to rise to another level where we both perceived reality differently, I would speak to you differently on another level of perceiving reality. Suppose we both sensed the absence of this world and existed in the world of Yetzira, then we would communicate on the level of forces and not images as we do now.
Right now you see me on your computer screen, and I see you on my computer screen. But if we were to move into the realm of electrical signals beyond the screen and start communicating, not through imagery, but as the computer commands, everything would be different. Imagine two wires connected to each other, nothing more. And information flows from one to the other, not as images, but as impulses.
But in a lesson, I convey information to people as if they exist separately from me, because otherwise I would not be able to explain anything.
And this is how all of Kabbalah is described. How else could it be? We address a person who perceives our world as an objective reality in which they exist rather than a reality that exists within them.
Question: So are you speaking to them? Or are you speaking just to me?
Answer: I am speaking to myself.
Question: To yourself? Then why do you keep saying that it depends on you, you, and you? I hear it too, so it turns out it depends on me and not on them.
Answer: Of course! Only on you! We say: “The whole world depends only on you.”
Comment: This feels like a trick.
My Response: It is not a trick. We exist in a state that we have no other way to communicate. No one is deceiving anyone. Are we playing childish games, deceiving each other in this world? Is there anything worthwhile on this infantile level where people supposedly deceive one another? They are deceiving themselves!
Question: So how should I relate to these elements that you communicate with?
Answer: In no way. Correct yourself.
Question: And the connection? You always talk about connection.
Answer: Connect! And you will discover that all of it is you, that all of it is yours, that you are the one and only Adam filled by the Creator. And everyone else are just parts of you that have integrally become yours, and you alone exist.
Question: But you say the problem is that people cannot achieve connection because not everyone wants it. How can that be that not everyone wants it, yet everything depends on me?
Answer: Because these are your own desires that you have not yet gathered together and corrected to resemble the Creator. Therefore they seem to be opposite to you, standing against you, with whom you must somehow work, connect with, and attract to yourself.
Question: But if it is my fault that there is no unity, why don’t you pressure me, why don’t you say: “It is your fault” instead of speaking to the entire mass around you?
Answer: Because each of them is just like you, and each one must realize that everything is contained within them.
Question: No, this is probably impossible to understand. You speak very confidently, saying that this is clear and that is clear, but at the same time, there is a contradiction in it.
Answer: Even in quantum physics we encounter such paradoxes. What can you do?
Comment: So they exist, and at the same time, they do not exist.
My Response: Yes. When we start approaching the microworld where there is a kind of threshold for transitioning to another world, we discover that nothing is definite, that two things can be in the same place at the same time, and one thing can be in two places, that distance does not exist—it is entirely conditional.
Imagine I take a piece of paper and fold it and bring two opposite points together. In linear geometry they are on a plane. But by folding the paper, they now represent a single whole. It all depends on my perception of space.
This is what a spatial leap is—the ability to leap from one part of the universe to another across millions or billions of light-years. On a plane, they are separated by billions of years, but I simply fold it and find myself in another point instantly. And it depends only on my perception—only on me! If I can fold it within myself, then I am at any point I choose.
Everything exists only relative to me.
Question: Do you practice this?
Answer: It is not about practicing or not. It is simply the reality that exists within you.
You must rise to it because everything depends on the level of your egoism—whether it is linear, flat, or whether you can already shape it in any way, control it, give it any form, and construct your true reality upon it. Take any shape and say: “This is a plane,” and build your geometry on it, meaning, perceive the entire world through it.
And what does it depend on? On how much you can integrate your nine fundamental qualities, the nine Sefirot into the tenth, in Malchut. And then everything is within you. You truly perceive everything beyond time and space, only through your internal transformation, through the sensation of the Creator within you. And nothing else exists.
And you do not grieve over losing people, souls, or communication. It is all inside you and has become even closer, deeper.
