One must first purify his heart to be a sightly abode by annulling the will to receive for himself and accustoming himself to work so all his actions will be only in order to bestow.
From this extend sightly Kelim, meaning his desires, called Kelim, will be clean from reception for himself. Rather, they will be pure, called “bestowal” (Baal HaSulam, Shamati 9, “What Are Three Things that Broaden One’s Mind in the Work?”).
Question: It is said: “And then his desires, called Kelim, will not only be purified of egoism but will also be radiant with their qualities of bestowal.”
It follows that the concepts of “purifying from egoism” and “the quality of bestowal” are distinct. But is our purifying from egoism not the same as being in the quality of bestowal?
Answer: There can be various nuances here. In principle, if we fill our egoistic desires with the quality of bestowal, then there remains no free space in them for any form of reception from the Creator. This is sufficient.

In Kedusha [holiness], however, it is called “Under its shadow I coveted to sit, and its fruit was sweet to my palate.” In other words, he says that all the concealments and afflictions he feels are because the Creator has sent him these states so he would have a place for work above reason (Baal HaSulam, Shamati 8, “What Is the Difference between a Shade of Kedusha and a Shade of Sitra Achra?“).
Question: Can it be said that the state of “Under its shadow I coveted to sit, and its fruit was sweet to my palate” is more productive for the development of the soul?
Answer: Correct. That is why this state is praised. It is precisely in such states that a person turns to the Creator in order to come out of the shade and embrace Him.
Question: Is there a prayer for the Creator to always keep me in this state so that I could pray from the shade?
Answer: No, it is impossible to remain in that state constantly because one negates the other. I cannot be in the shade and at the same time admire the “fruit,” meaning the revelation of the Creator. The shade is not His revelation.

The Zohar interprets what our sages wrote: “Three things broaden one’s mind. These are a handsome woman, a handsome abode, and handsome Kelim [vessels].”
It says, “A sightly woman is the Shechina [Divinity]. A sightly abode is his heart, and sightly Kelim are his organs” (Baal HaSulam, Shamati 9, “What Are Three Things that Broaden One’s Mind in the Work?”).
Question: How can the Shechina be revealed in our common home, the human heart?
Answer: If we want to feel the Creator’s attitude toward us, there can be no restrictions. We will feel how much we strive for the Creator and wish only one thing, that He would fulfill all our desires.
To organize the “common home” of the ten correctly, we just need to unite among ourselves and support each other in our proper connection. Then we will reach the point where all our desires will form one common desire, to attain the Creator.

Question: We are work in the ten to try to come to the revelation of the Creator. How does the switch in intention occur so that we do this for Him, not because we want to enjoy it, but to bestow to Him?
Answer: We want to reveal that the Creator illuminates everything around and nothing else is needed. If the Creator acts with His light on all creation and is satisfied with it, then we do not need anything else. That is how we should try to think and act.
Question: How can we always keep the need, not just to feel good, but for Him to be pleased with us in our hearts?
Answer: It depends on the magnitude of His revelation to us. Then we will be happy with Him.

Question: What does it mean to feel the existence of the Creator while working?
Answer: This means that a person is working to reveal the Creator, to bring Him closer to his senses, and is making efforts solely for this purpose. The person constantly wants to renew his actions so that his attitude toward the revelation and concealment of the Creator is new each time. It is very important that we do not become locked in our petrified state.
Question: How can you further develop your sensory organs?
Answer: There is no way. Just talk about it more and bring it out so that it becomes clear to everyone.

Question: In which state do we bring more contentment to the Creator: when we pray in single concealment or when there is the revelation of the face of the Creator?
Answer: The Creator works with all states. Double and single concealment are considered only in relation to a person.
The Creator hides from us so that by playing with us He can cultivate the right attitude toward concealment, toward Himself, and toward the world within us. In this way, we all come to correct interaction.
