Question: We studied the concepts of Sefirot in the four phases of direct light descending from above downward. What are Keter, Hochma, and Bina in the reflected light? How are they different when ascending from below upward?
Answer: The difference is that Malchut, which was created by the nine Sefirot and desires only to receive, in the reflected light wants only to bestow liker Keter of the direct light. Therefore, Malchut of the reflected light is called Keter of the reflected light because it acts in the same way as Keter of the direct light.
All the Sefirot of the reflected light are similar to the Sefirot of the direct light. The only difference is in their origin. The direct light comes from the Creator, while the reflected light comes from the creation.

Question: When I nullify myself before the friends, trying to change my understanding that I control something in life to the understanding that the Creator controls everything, how can I integrate this into corporeal life? It seems that this desire is still egoistic because I am asking for myself.
Answer: Continue the spiritual work on yourself, and you will gradually see your thoughts change, how you can ask not for yourself, but precisely for your friends.
Ultimately, this will lead to you ceasing to be a receiver, and you will only bestow.

Question: Attainment in spirituality occurs only in reflected light. How can one construct the most elementary level of reflected light?
Answer: The level of reflected light must correspond to the direct light that descends from the Creator down. The reflected light must be the same as the direct light. Then they will be equivalent, and the creation that receives the direct light in the reflected light will fully understand all the definitions in the direct light.
Question: But I do not want to receive anything for myself. I only want to give something to the Creator. How do you do that?
Answer: You must understand how to make a screen for yourself and from this screen become like the Creator in the reflected light. Then, being like Him, you will understand His actions and state and merge with Him. This is the action of the screen.
Question: But how does this translate into intention? What should I be thinking about?
Answer: Your intention and focus should be about being in likeness with the Creator.

Question: Does a gift from the Creator always feel like pleasure or sometimes like a blow to egoism?
Answer: Both ways.
Question: What kind of gift can the creation give to the Creator?
Answer: Receiving for the sake of bestowal. If a person prays to the Creator, asks Him for something, but not for himself, then it works.

After recognizing their egoistic nature, people come to the second stage: “That which you hate, do not do unto your friend.” This is already a qualitative change in a person when one understands that by harming another, one harms oneself.
Comment: We see that people in extreme situations, for example in war, can even give their lives for another let alone not do harm.
My Response: Yes, but these are still the first stages of getting out of egoism.
Question: Is it not enough to recognize the evil of our nature? Do we also need to understand that there must be some higher goal and higher values? What could they be? After all, there should always be two points.
Answer: The highest value lies in the absolute exit from egoism when everything a person does, he does for the sake of others and not for himself. This is one degree.
The second degree is his desire to become like the Creator. The Creator is an absolutely anti-egoistic system to which a person must rise, adhere, merge into it, and thus achieve his purpose: adhesion with the Creator.

Question: After one of your lectures, as a rule, a person comes to study the wisdom of Kabbalah all fired up. He or she felt something unusual. This feeling lasts for a while, and then it cools down. Is this his problem or not?
Answer: No, this is how it should be!
Why should I keep him under my influence? Absolutely not! It is necessary for him to start understanding what I have told him and what I have suggested of his own freewill. Under no circumstances should he be left in a state of enthusiasm because then it will be like a drug for him.
He will no longer receive any sustenance from me. The next time he meets me, he will no longer have that initial admiration and perception. He will turn on the analysis, the requirement of the conceptual apparatus, because he needs to progress.
It is like with children: the first time we can entice a child, but after that, we want to involve them in actions.
Question: Usually, those people who initially admire everything become “seasoned wolves” later on. You look at them and their childlike innocence is gone. But how can a person avoid going into a kind of isolation?
Answer: I cannot say anything here. You do not need to think about what he should be like. He will be as he should be. We do not determine his future states. Whatever happens to him is how it should work out.
The main thing is to give him information about internal development, about external opportunities, what he should do, how he should study, read, work in a group, and disseminate—in short, how he should absorb all the material.

Question: It isn’t clear how the Creator helps us. I see that I receive everything for myself and ask Him to help. How do I receive this gift of gratuitous action from the Creator?
Answer: A person develops such desires and qualities that can work for bestowal.
Question: If I cannot do something, for example, wake up for a lesson and ask the Creator to help, will He help me wake up in the end?
Answer: If you ask, He will help.
Question: Can I ask for a friend to receive such strength?
Answer: Of course. Keep asking. Ask for your friend, for yourself, so that you know how to ask.
