Question: Why is it that the biggest resistance of egoism arise when studying the Torah and making scrutinies in the ten?

Answer: It is specially arranged from above so that egoism does not allow you to engage in your correction because this work is directed against it.

To practice the Torah means to engage in your egoistic properties and gradually cause them to be affected by the upper light, the Creator.

In this way, you will change from egoist to altruist. And every person and the whole world will change also.

Question: How can we influence each other and inspire the ten to study the Torah with joy?

Answer: Only by example, there is no other way.

Question: Rabash writes that the machine of the material world crashes into a person’s spiritual desire and you need to protect yourself from this collision. Then a person will be sure that he will not lose what he was given, i.e., the elevation that he received.

How can you protect yourself from this accident every time?

Answer: It is only through the fact that you have the same desire as your friends. It will keep you safe. Therefore you need to get closer to each other and put the connection between you above everything else.

Comment: But the machine of material thoughts and desires still crashes into you.

My Response: What does “crashes” mean? The fact is that you have to somehow master it, connect with your friends, and control this machine together. It is like being on a ship during a storm when two or three people hold the helm and thus steer the ship to the right course against the waves.

Question: To what extent can a person thank and bless the Creator?

Answer: Until complete, perfect adhesion.

Question: Should we come to the feeling of one single Hissaron (Desire)?

Answer: Everyone should have a Hissaron regarding the Creator. But it may become united and closer to final correction.

Question: You said there are simply descents and descents with an illumination from above. What is the connection between a person’s sensitivity in spiritual work and the illumination from above during the descent?

Answer: One determines the other.

Question: How can we, the ten, correct the place for receiving the upper blessing?

Answer: This place becomes corrected through the mutual connection of all the friends in the ten.

Question: It is hard to live in this world. Why should we, Kabbalists, give birth to children because they will not be happy? If we stop breeding, will the Creator’s game with us end?

Answer: No, according to Kabbalah, we must give birth, raise children, and teach them the correct fulfillment of the Creator’s will.

Question: What does it mean to fulfill a commandment completely?

Answer: It means annulling yourself and elevating the Creator above everything else in the world.

Question: If we fulfill a commandment without the greatness of the Creator, is this fulfillment incomplete?

Answer: This is not considered fulfillment at all because any commandment is in elevating the Creator and following Him yourself.

The higher we raise the Creator in our eyes, the higher the level from which His attitude descends toward us.

Question: It is said that one must love the Creator with both an evil inclination and a good inclination. How can we apply this in the ten?

Answer: This is what we do. First we want to be connected with each other by a good inclination, that is, only by bestowing. Then we try to add the evil inclination to it and work together with both of them.

Question: What is the difference between a pause and detachment in a person’s inner work?
How do I find out which of these states I am in if I continue to do the same things externally, but inside do not know what state I am in?

Answer: Ask yourself whether you are in internal tension and whether you are working against your egoism all the time or just forget about it. We have to be constantly against the ego.

Question: When I try to be at the point that there is none else besides Him and the good and does good and I ask the Creator to stay at this point, where is the bestowal to the Creator here?

Answer: The fact is, you want to reveal the upper light to correct your group’s egoistic desires, connect with the rest of the ten, and thus work for the Creator.

Question: In his articles, Rabash refers to Rambam, then to his father and teacher, Baal HaSulam. Why doesn’t he speak for himself? It’s as if he relies on someone else. Has he not attained these degrees?

Answer: He cites the arguments and reasons of the great Kabbalists, on whom he can rely, and so can we.

Comment: But he went through these states anyway.

My Response: It is in your eyes that he has gone through everything, but not in his. For him, in any case, there is a difference between, say, Rambam and himself. These are different degrees of attainment.

Question: So should we study what the Rambam tells us?

Answer: In principle, what we read from Rabash’s writings is enough for us.
