New Life 1281 – The Proper Financial Support Of Children
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi
Parents need to help all their children equally. Parents can not act only according to their heart as this will create conflict and great hatred in the family. If one child has special needs, the parents should consult someone who is not part of the family and then explain to the children. The family may benefit from going to counseling together. From an educational perspective, it is a good idea for families to speak often about potential studies and professions but without pressure so that a spirit for the future will be built in the children.

Medium published my new article “Coronomics — The Covid-Induced Economy”
The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2, or in short, SARS-CoV-2, is the strain of coronavirus that causes Coronavirus Disease 2019, a.k.a. COVID-19 — the pandemic that’s killed over a million people in just ten months and is only growing more virulent and violent. It’s also smashed the world’s economy.
Not seeing better a better option, governments are printing money as if there’s no tomorrow. But if they keep this up there will really be no tomorrow, at least not one we want to live in.
With countless houses and apartments standing vacant, and millions of people living on the streets, clearly, there is a fundamental flaw in the system.
Such a time, when the familiar is failing you, is the right time to think outside the box. We know that there are basic needs that people must have no matter what. Food, clothes, and housing are such basics. If people don’t have them, they will destroy the country simply by trying to survive. Therefore, the government, any government, must provide these basics or see that they are provided to every single citizen.
To guarantee provision of basic needs to everyone, the government must see that distribution reaches all the people. Currently, approximately half the food that is produced does not reach consumers either because its sell-by date expires before it’s bought, or because it’s trashed by manufacturers and/or retailers in order to keep the price up, or because transportation costs make distribution unprofitable.
What is true of food is just as true of clothes, tons of which are dumped at the end of each season, and even of housing. With countless houses and apartments standing vacant, and millions of people living on the streets, clearly, there is a fundamental flaw in the system.
You might say, “This is capitalism,” but it doesn’t make human sense to keep people on the street while there are plenty of houses they could occupy. And if capitalism doesn’t make human sense, then capitalism doesn’t make sense, not in today’s world anyway. In other words, it’s time to say goodbye to capitalism and adopt a more considerate and humane approach (though I suggest we leave it nameless for now).
The important thing right now is to help people understand that we are all accountable, and we are all responsible for one another and for all of nature. Our way of life has turned our planet into a giant dumpster. We are living in a dumpster but we complain when we get sick. It’s time we make the connection between how we live and how it all affects us.
So after everyone gets the basic needs for survival, it’s time to change our way of life, namely our attitude to one another. Capitalistic competition is destructive. It did let us out of the caves, but look where it got us. If we must compete, we should compete over who brings more people together, who unites them, who makes them caring and considerate rather than indifferent and selfish.
Of course, we can shrug this whole Covid-induced economy notion off and head back to capitalism, but it won’t work. Covid will kill every attempt to get back to 2019. And the longer we stall with the change, the harder and more painful Covid’s prodding will be. If there is one thing I wish for humanity, it is that everyone will quickly understand where we are going and use the cure I have just outlined before we suffer the blow.

Question: Humanity must reach such social relations where there are general rights— everyone works according to their abilities and receives according to their needs. Should this be a conscious decision of every person?
Answer: All this comes from the property of bestowal. This is what man must protect and develop. Such an attitude of one individual to another brings everyone to a new level of existence when we begin to feel the Creator in our relationship from which the upper light emanates and fills people.

Question: What is this force that manifests in the circle? Sometimes you call it the Creator, but this is immediately associated with religion. Sometimes nature, which is associated with some kind of spiritual practice.
Answer: The general strength of the circle is manifested in the circle, that is, the integral strength of its participants.
Question: At times, preparation is conducted in silence before the workshop. When is it best to use it and on what topics?
Answer: We must look at the state of the group. I believe that this is a very special method of connecting people to attention, and it can only be used if there is a good understanding between the group members. But this training is not meant for beginners.
Question: For discussion in a circle, we use a variety of sources. This can be primary sources, news, dramatic situations, watching a movie, an excerpt from a movie. Is there a difference in running such circles?
Answer: No. These are all information carriers.
Question: What issues cannot be resolved using a roundtable?
Answer: I believe that there are no such questions. This is a panacea for everything.
Question: What is the optimal number of participants in the roundtable?
Answer: Six to seven people. More than five and less than ten. Preferably no more than ten people, otherwise it will be very difficult and everything will be formal.
Question: Today all circles are virtual. What advantages do you see in them compared to ordinary circles where people physically sit together and feel each other?
Answer: In virtual circles it is very difficult to understand that everyone is equal, that everyone welcomes the common opinion, they try to be like one person. People should know each other, speak the same language, and feel each other. Ultimately, they will mostly dissolve. But it still requires additional effort.
Question: Do you think it is effective to use songs during roundtables?
Answer: Of course. Anything that unites is useful.
Question: What is the principle of organizing circles? Age, gender, education?
Answer: It is desirable that the participants are equal in every sense. So that no external signs give someone preference over someone else.
Question: Is there a benefit to passively observing the roundtable?
Answer: Yes. This can be learned. It is advisable to make a circle in front of everyone.
Question: Do you think it is acceptable to start a working day with a discussion in a circle and end in the same way? Wouldn’t it just be a waste of time?
Answer: Maybe yes, but we must try to do it. It all depends on the development of society.
Question: What should you do when the initial excitement from using circles disappears and everything turns into a routine ceremony? How do I update this process?
Answer: Stop it, conduct research on why this is happening and what is the disadvantage of our work. And start again.
Question: Often the bosses at work do not accept the circle method for making decisions because they are afraid of losing authority, power. How do we solve this problem?
Answer: You can’t do anything here. We must fight this.

Answer: At the moment, the most practical, efficient action is to gather in the group, listen to lessons, ask questions, and help each other understand the material that you study, and get a bit closer to each other.
Then the upper light will affect you and will circulate between you and you will begin to advance much faster.

Remark: In order to learn how to rise above conflicts and make correct decisions, people must take an integral education course. However, it may take several years to prepare them.
My Comment: There is nothing we can do. This is what education is for, to train people to understand decisions correctly and even produce their own.
It is necessary to launch an educational process for all of society. People need to understand where they are going, who they are, in what society, and at what period they live.
When they are in this process, it will become clear to us what to do with them. So far, I have not encountered such people because there is no clear process of education in society.
Now we teach the method of integral education only to certain people who want to do it and are ready to give it three or four hours a day.

Question: There was some irrationality in the recognition of the State of Israel. To recognize it, American President Truman had to overcome a violent confrontation in the White House, because all the State Department members were against it. Stalin also had to go through a confrontation, albeit with himself, with his personal antipathies to Zionism.
In addition, after the establishment of the State of Israel, wars began on this territory, and there is also something irrational in this. For the entire 70 years of its existence, the country has been in constant conflicts, which we call, “conflicts in the Middle East.”
Do you consider the establishment of the State of Israel irrational, accidental?
Answer: In my opinion, there is nothing irrational and accidental. Everything is operated by the upper law of nature, which brings closer various parts of inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature and, especially, humanity. And within humanity, mostly Jews, is the basis, the central part.
So there is nothing irrational here. There is a fulfillment of the law of nature. Everything is moving through the breakage that we have gone through toward correction.
This is how it should be. In Kabbalah it was said long before the breakage and unification. Everything is so clearly laid out that we can say at what stage we are at in the complete correction of the world.

Answer: That is absolutely correct. We do not have conflicts with anyone outside, neither with the Creator, nor with nature or other people. Only with ourselves.
Question: What is the reason that everything is organized this way?
Answer: For a person to see that the whole world is contained in him.
Question: Let’s assume he sees this. What’s next?
Answer: That’s it! It means that he has come to full correction.
Question: Then all complaints are only to myself?
Answer: Of course!
Question: What will this lead to in the end?
Answer: To the fact that you will achieve complete connection and full adhesion with the Creator.
