My Thoughts On Twitter 5/6/19

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

The purpose of creation is intended for all creatures regardless of #race, #nationality, or other differences between them.” (Baal HaSulam. Arvut, 23)
But a group of people, #Israel, has been appointed to begin implementing the plan, which will convey its attainment to the rest of humanity.

The intention of the Creator is to unite the creation with Himself. One can learn unity only by working on it. Therefore, the created desire is broken and, starting with the call of Abraham, is uniting to attain the Creator, reaching the size of a nation. But the end of the correction is in unity of all mankind.

Don’t Wait For Tomorrow

laitman_284Baal HaSulam, Letter 13: Truth will show its way, that one who regrets makes his regret known. He cannot withhold himself or hide. Indeed, I feel all of you together, that today has been replaced for you with tomorrow, and instead of “now,” you say “later.” There is no cure for that but to exert to understand that mistake and distortion—that one who is saved by the Creator is saved only if he needs the salvation today. One who can wait for tomorrow will obtain his salvation after his years, God forbid.

Under no circumstances should we postpone any feelings, thoughts, definitions, and desires for tomorrow. One must gather them, direct them to the Creator, and relate them to Him.

Suppose I have many thoughts going on in my head, all of them have to be attributed to the Creator, glued to Him; I must realize that He is their source in my feelings and in my mind.

If we constantly move in relation to Him, then the correct picture of connection will gradually emerge between the Creator and me. At first, the Creator manifests Himself in the form of the original source of everything that happens to me, inside of me, and in the surrounding world. And then I see that there is no surrounding world, and all of this is what He builds around me in my sensations; it is like a projection of these sensations.

The main thing is to try to constantly bind myself to the Creator as the root cause of all my feelings. Therefore, Baal HaSulam writes that the one who does not follow this will grow wiser after years, but who knows when?

If a person neglects this, then he or she is repelled from spiritual work and will not be able to return. When the next cycle approaches, which is like the revolution of the Earth around the Sun, can really take years

Like On A Cinema Screen

laitman_928Question: Does the Creator influence me differently depending on the changes in me? Or does His influence stay the same, but my perception of it changes? Who changes: me or Him?

Answer: In our world, we talk about what a person feels: a change in the weather, the environment, the surrounding society, and everything else.

While Kabbalah explains that everything is inside me: society, humanity, the weather, and everything that happens. But I see it only on the outside, external from me, as different levels of nature.

Therefore, by changing myself inside, I change the world outside. Conversely, to me, the world seems to be outside, so that I, by changing myself, would see the result of my changes.

Just imagine that there is a 360 degree “screen” around me, and on it I see the changes that occur in me at all four levels: speaking, animate, vegetative, and still. These are the four stages of desire that project themselves onto an external “screen,” like in a cinema.

There are two approaches here. Either I, by changing myself, change the world around me for the better. Or I remain the same and the world around me changes in order to force me to change. That is, either the Creator pulls me forward with a positive force or He pushes me from behind with a negative force. I see all this on the “screen” around me.

Question: Then what can be said about the four seasons of the year, which are constantly replace each other?

Answer: These are the four foundations, the four stages of the light, which are reflected in me in the form of the four seasons. Everything is divided into four, five, or ten parts. This is my inner world that is projected outward in this way.

New Life 227 – Happiness And Family

New Life 227 – Happiness And Family
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Family is an important factor in our sense of happiness, the family and the connections within it affect us positively. Only in the family do I feel that I have someone to love and that I am loved without calculation, as I am. Mutual connection between people brings happiness. When each one is absorbed in the joy and the pain of the other, we become one. The special, warm force between a couple spreads to the children. Being together means that each family member contributes with the intention that everyone will enjoy.
