Question: Is the state of euphoria acceptable when studying Kabbalah?

Answer: Of course. People want it.

Question: Can it not end?

Answer: It will end and will alternate with tremendous devastation and disappointment and again with contentment and euphoria until a person starts to control the two lines clearly: right and left. Then the happy and sad state, fulfillment and void, will be the same for him because one needs them both and both lead to the goal.

Question: How can one distinguish between joy and delight from ordinary communication with people and joy from unification in Kabbalah?

Answer: One can distinguish it by meaning and purposefulness. In Kabbalah, there is a sense in all states because each of them advances you. It doesn’t matter what actions you take and how you feel, they still bring you closer to the goal millimeter after millimeter. Therefore, life does not go in vain.
