Request For The Future

Laitman_043Question: How can one ask correctly? Is it a practical action?

Answer: The correct request is not the words that I say. To ask correctly means to create within yourself an image of the correct request, which means the state I am now in and the state I would like to be in.

The difference between these states is my request. I ask for a change in me so that I will move from the present state to the future one.

Why do I ask for myself? Isn’t this egoism? The fact is that Kabbalah speaks about this kind of request because the entire world is within me. If I change myself, I change the world.

As we study in the perception of reality, everything I feel outside of me is a projection of what I depict inside of me. Outside of me there is only the upper light, onto which I project my inner qualities.

Therefore, all people and inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature, and the entire universe in general are a projection of my inner qualities. The first, second, third, and fourth stages within me are projected onto the white light, and this is what I feel as “our world.” Therefore, I ask for my correction and thus, I correct the world.
