Question: People say that if the economic situation provides everyone with an equal standard of living, it will unite the nation because the competition that leads to separation will disappear.

Answer: I have never seen that wealth leads to unity. Prosperity does decrease the mutual hatred a little, but very relatively because everyone’s ego still obliges envy of others.

Even if everyone had an income of a million dollars a month, it would not help us love one another. Everyone simply would build a higher fence around his assets.

Nowhere in the world has equality led to unity. Equality is actually a notion that is impossible to reach because an egoistic person always will think that others have received more. Equality is possible only when everyone’s property is taken away, and they are put behind bars and given 400 grams of bread a day. Then, we would feel that we are equal.

All of these ideas are based on not knowing our egoistic nature, and being well off doesn’t guarantee good social relations. You can visit the most exclusive part of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, where the richest people live in order to find out what the mutual relations between them are like.

Question: So, what can unite the people?

Answer: The force of unity exists in nature on all of its levels. In the still, vegetative, animate, and speaking, there are two active forces operating: positive and the negative.

It is only on the human level that there is nothing but minus. Where is our plus? When can we perform any good deeds, not “good” deeds by which we hope to gain something, but deeds that lead to no self-benefit?

There is no such battery with two poles in a person with plus and minus. A person is managed by one negative force. This is the uniqueness of man since the rest of nature, his own body, and the entire world that surrounds him are managed in a balanced way by plus and minus.

We must generate the positive force from nature so that it will balance human nature. Otherwise, it is impossible to do anything. The human ego is the one source of all of the evil in the world. It is not only the wisdom of Kabbalah that claims that, but also ecologists and economists.

So, where can we find the positive good force in order to balance our ego? If we don’t find it, we are doomed because we are advancing toward self-destruction. But there is a method, the wisdom of Kabbalah, that can provide us with the positive force that will balance the evil force. The entire world needs it very much, every government and every nation.

The Torah, Numbers 18:1 – 18:3: The Lord said to Aaron: You, your sons and your father’s house shall bear the iniquity associated with the Sanctuary, and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity associated with your kehunah.

Also your brethren, the tribe of Levi, your father’s tribe, draw close to you, and they shall join you and minister to you, and you and your sons with you, before the Tent of Testimony.

They shall keep your charge and the charge of the Tent, and they shall not approach the holy vessels or the altar, so that neither they nor you will die.

Question: What does it mean that Aaron and his sons should not come near the holy vessels?

Answer: It means that when you discover sources of the Upper Light that are too great you can receive them for yourself and not with the intention of in order to bestow unto the whole society, and so you should be very careful!

Question: However, other relatives and the entire tribe of Levi join them here.

Answer: We are not speaking about an individual soul but about the general collection of souls. In the spiritual world, there is no concept of “alone” like in our world. The people who gather into one whole and come out as one are a force with a certain power in spirituality.

At the same time, the Levites are distinguished from the general mass by being able to connect among them more strongly than the others; the priests can connect to an even greater extent.

There are three levels according to the intensity of the connection—a priest, a Levite and Israel, and every person reaches one of the three levels accordingly.

Question: Is it every person or every Jew?

Answer: First, it is only those who participate in the spiritual ascent. They are called Jews, stemming from the Hebrew word “Yichud”  – unity and connection.

Then, there are no limitations since we all came out of Babylon, and as a result there is no difference between a Jew and a non-Jew, and tomorrow they can exchange places. Everything depends only on the person.

Rabbi Akiva, who wasn’t a Jew by origin, became the greatest teacher of the Israeli nation. The whole Torah and everything we know today, both about the corporeal world and about the spiritual world, went through him.

Question: Can we say that everyone eventually will become priests?

Answer: Yes, it is written, “and ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.” This doesn’t refer only to the nation of Israel but to anyone who reaches this level. Everyone must attain the highest level and merge into one whole.

The Torah, Numbers 17:24 – 17:26: Moses took out all the staffs from before the Lord, to the children of Israel; they saw and they took, each man his staff. The Lord said to Moses: Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the Testimony as a keepsake [and] a sign for rebellious ones. Then their complaints against Me will end and they will not die.

Moses did so. He did just as the Lord had commanded him.

Inspecting the rod is the adaptation to the attributes of the general soul, without which it is impossible to advance.

The spiritual movement is based first on the scrutiny of what is going on and then on its correct implementation. This is the reason that it is written, “they saw” “and they took,” which means that they agreed and continued.

The Torah, Numbers 17:27 – 17:28: The children of Israel spoke to Moses saying, “Behold, we are dying, we will perish, we are all lost! Whoever comes the closest to the Mishkan of the Lord dies! Have we been consigned to die?”

The fact is that a person doesn’t see how these desires are going to be revealed in the corrected state since now they are revealed in the opposite form against unity.

We don’t understand that none of the desires and attributes that exist in us were created in vain. They all undergo correction, and the problem is only in the sequence in which they appear.

This is the reason we must scrutinize the sequence according to which everything is arranged and why it is so complicated. This is because the entire point is not that it is you today and me tomorrow, but that the sequence reveals to us the general schema, the structure of the general soul and how we are connected to one another.

This invokes the knowledge and attainment in us, and the feeling that we are part of the general schema, and we begin to understand how it operates. This means that we can influence it by many parameters and see how it changes.

The scrutiny of who I am, and then you, and then another, and so forth, symbolizes this sequence. This is how the main thought is revealed, the thought of the Creator, the basis of the attainment of the upper world. It is not the personal correction of some small part, desire, or attribute, but the mutual connection. This is the reason that everything isn’t that simple.

Let’s suppose that we have a million components of a certain device: capacitors, resistors, transistors, etc. But how can we put them together in such a scheme that they would form a perpetual engine? This is the most important thing, the mutual connection.

Therefore, all of the conflicts that the children of Israel have are actually about their adhesion. What does is meant by “correct me?” Find out where your place is in the general schema so that you will know what you should look like in order to be together with others.

The correction cannot be of a certain person or a certain attribute, but one that is the sum of the whole soul because at the end of the mutual integral action it is totally connected to everyone.

The essential parts now are chosen out of the entire pile that is the general soul after the shattering. These parts will move to the side, and others will follow them. These will move partially forward, and so on, and thus gradually the soul is put together, a huge number of desires, attributes, and intentions.

Question: Your post about the weather on Facebook drew a lot of attention. Why have you started writing about the weather all of the sudden?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah speaks about the general system we live in, and we are an integral part of that system. Therefore, one must be related to the other.

Interestingly, the weather deteriorates because of the central point of the system, which is inside man.

Our world is managed according to three lines. If we, the nation of Israel, are connected by good relations, the world will be managed by the middle line.

Question: Even the weather?

Answer: Everything, no matter what, every cell and every atom, and especially a complex system like the weather. It isn’t just the weather, but the entire universe influences us through the sun, the moon, and unknown effects, including different energy fields on our plane. This is a very complicated system we know very little about.

The whole system of the worlds, including our world, operates according to three lines: the right, the left, and the middle line. The right line is the force of Hassadim, the force of goodness and mercy. The left line is the force of evil, Gevura, which is opposite the mercy of the right line. The middle line balances these two lines.

In fact, everything depends on the balance between the left and the right lines, between mercy and judgment. We see that in our everyday lives. This is how we raise our children when we want to direct them to the right path and conduct them by alternating pressure and love so that everything will be balanced. It isn’t desirable for one to overcome the other.

It is the same when it comes to the weather. Normal weather in accordance with the seasons of the year depends on the balance between us.

Not too long ago, we didn’t have to correct ourselves since the weather did not depend on us, but starting from the beginning of the last decade, we have begun to feel that nature is becoming unbalanced and it is because we are not attaining the balance between us.

It turns out that we are not balancing the world. We are not correcting ourselves, and the lack of balance in the world is revealed to us that way. Instead of Hesed, mercy, in the form of gentle rain, we are flooded by storms.

There will be even greater storms, tsunamis and other problems related to water that are not controlled by the goodness of the right line anymore. We will witness even greater fires and terrible heat waves that will reach fifty to sixty degrees Celsius and volcanic eruptions under the domination of the left line.

We are not balancing of the middle line, so we are thrown from one extreme situation to another.

Question: Isn’t the dissemination of knowledge about the wisdom of Kabbalah coercion because in any case nature is still developing us through confrontations and conflicts. That is how it has always been and will be.

Answer: Certainly. But if we continue to march along with nature, we develop under the pressure of pain, suffering and war.

But the study of the wisdom of Kabbalah makes it possible to see the future through an “X-Ray,” just as a wise person with the help of research, sees in what way he is sick in advance, and as long as the disease hasn’t progressed, he can prevent it.

We have two choices:

– Wait until the “illness” is discovered, and this would be such a pathology from which there is no escape, everyone will raise their hands and say: “Unfortunately we cannot do anything with these Jews. Perhaps they should be destroyed.”

– Or we see where we are going, and so in advance solve all our problems and those of the world. A wise person sees far ahead, as it is said, “The wise man, his eyes are in his head” (Ecclesiastes 2:14).

Question: You warned the west 10 years ago of the Arab migration and about what would happen in Israel and in the world, but no one believed you. Do you hope they will believe you now?

Answer: Now everyone can see that it is so. If you open my old notes, going back 15 years, you will see that I wrote about what would happen in Europe, Russia, and America and about the Arab Spring. Ten years ago in a TV interview in Moscow I stated publicly that the Arabs would populate all of Europe, which would lead to a situation that I didn’t even want to speak about. Now we can see that ourselves, so why should I be a prophet and speak about bad things? Generally I can speak about what needs to be corrected, but individually it isn’t a good idea.

Regarding the future, I will tell you that both the Europeans and the Arabs that will populate Europe will turn against Israel and rise against us as on a crusade. No matter how hard we try to please the Europeans, their hatred will continue to grow. The Europeans will totally side with the Arabs and no one will be in our favor, just like in the days of Nazi Germany. Nothing will help us. On the earthly level we are losing everything! We can only win on the level of the upper world.

If you want that, I am inviting you. If you don’t, we will be in big trouble. This is the reason that we have to disseminate the message of the wisdom of Kabbalah among the people, so that people will find out and will know what it calls us to do and the reward it promises us for that.
