Opinion: (German Chancellor Angela Merkel): “Merkel called for further political integration within the European Union as a means to ending the sovereign-debt crisis. ‘The task of our generation now is to complete the economic and currency union in Europe and, step by step, create a political union,’ Merkel said in an hour-long speech to more than 1,000 CDU delegates. ‘It’s time for a breakthrough to a new Europe.’”
My Comment: If they go for at least partial integration, they will win and then realize that integration should be complete!

In the News (from ScienceDaily): “When it comes to intelligence, the whole can indeed be greater than the sum of its parts. A new study co-authored by MIT, Carnegie Mellon University, and Union College researchers documents the existence of collective intelligence among groups of people who cooperate well, showing that such intelligence extends beyond the cognitive abilities of the groups’ individual members, and that the tendency to cooperate effectively is linked to the number of women in a group.
“That collective intelligence, the researchers believe, stems from how well the group works together. For instance, groups whose members had higher levels of ‘social sensitivity’ were more collectively intelligent. ‘Social sensitivity has to do with how well group members perceive each other’s emotions,’ says Christopher Chabris, a co-author and assistant professor of psychology at Union College in New York. ‘Also, in groups where one person dominated, the group was less collectively intelligent than in groups where the conversational turns were more evenly distributed.’ And teams containing more women demonstrated greater social sensitivity and in turn greater collective intelligence compared to teams containing fewer women.”
My Comment: But the level of unity depends only on men, although women push them towards it. It turns out that men form a group, but it is activated by women’s desires. In Kabbalah, desires belong to the feminine gender, but the force of their connection to the masculine.

In the News (from rg.ru): “The experts of ‘Strategy 2020’ [a yearly report prepared by a number of expert groups] propose to reduce social inequality and poverty by distributing food stamps to the poor, increasing benefits for children from low-income families, and implementing the program of the guaranteed minimum income.”
My Comment: This condition is necessary but not sufficient since it does not eliminate the cause of inequality but only smooths it out and hides it. The correct decision is to raise everyone to the level of guaranteed reasonable consumption.
But equality could be achieved only through re-education in the system of integral upbringing, when people become convinced that by striving towards unity, they begin to sense perfection and higher harmony of nature.

Opinion (Marek Roland-Mieszkowski, M.Sc., Ph.D., biologist): “It is obvious that the entropy of the Biosphere is decreasing continuously (at least it was before the industrial revolution and deforestation). This means that the matter involved in the formation of the Biosphere is getting more and more organized (less random). It was pointed out by many that life seems to defy the II Law of Thermodynamics, which states, that entropy of any system should be increasing. Several attempts were made to explain this striking phenomenon on the basis of the ‘Theory of Complexity,’ which suggest that there are undiscovered laws of nature which are responsible for ‘Self-Organization’ of organisms and the Biosphere.”
My Comment: There are laws that act in the macrocosm, in the microcosm, in the world that operates on the basis of the property of reception, and in the world that operates on the basis of the property of bestowal—in the spiritual world, the world of forces and information. Moreover, the latter consists of five levels called five worlds. Although they all operate on the principle of bestowal, in each of them the laws of commutation (exchange) and functioning are different and even opposite, according to the principle of “what is unacceptable for the upper one is commendable for the lower one.”

Question: Should every group member know exactly what every specific friend lacks and how he can help each friend, or is it enough to abide by the general notion of “love for the friend”?
Answer: In a regular society a person can help another only if there are rich and poor, smart and stupid, strong and weak, and so on. But if everyone are equal, then how can they help one another?
Yet there is one thing everyone lacks: the sensation of a good mood. If a person is in a bad mood, neither wealth nor wisdom can help him. Only another person can lift his spirits so the friend would feel an influx of vital energy again and sense that the goal of unity is near.
It turns out that every group member must pay attention to his friend’s mood and if necessary, lift it. That’s because one’s mood is precisely the area where every person can contribute to another.

The Purpose Of Creating A Group
Question: How can a person give up corporeal pleasures if he doesn’t feel any pleasure in the desire to bestow yet?
Answer: We see that humanity is compelled to go through different states. Egoistic development leads people to despair and depression, drugs, alcohol, and suicide.
We live only by virtue of an instinctive, beastly fear of death, given to us to attain the goal. The fear of death is what keeps us and controls us, and if it weren’t for its control, we would have different calculations.
It is intentional that we are enslaved to death so that we’re compelled to go on living in every situation, even the worst. We are ready to give everything for life, although there’s no doubt that life itself isn’t worth it. But we act unconsciously, guided by an instinct instilled in us purposefully so that we advance towards the goal specifically by way of suffering and difficult calculations.
In doing so, we go though states in which there is no justification to go on living. However, the goal of creation forces us to do so. Therefore, the Creator inserted this beastly fear into the desire to receive, which obliges us to struggle for our lives. After all, the notion of “life” is much higher in our eyes than any suffering.
All this is so that we can survive and through the constant egoistic calculations reach the decision that we shouldn’t wait for death to redeem us from the suffering that we feel in our egoistic desire, but rather switch it for another desire, the desire to bestow. Then bestowal, connection with others, will not seem worse than death and unrealistic.
It’s because we’ve suffered so much in our ego that we can now make the calculation and agree that it’s possible to reach the desire to bestow. It’s the suffering that can help us do that. This is how we advance.
This means that there is a struggle between the different forces within a person. A person himself only has to sum up this struggle, and it is called the life wisdom he acquires at such price.

The First Restriction (Tzimtzum Aleph) brought about the shattering of the worlds. Without the prohibition, there would have been nothing to break and no sin. When there is an opening, everyone can come and take whatever they want to. But if I install a door and say that the place belongs to someone, from now on, you need permission to get in there.
You need to follow certain rules according to which you can receive something from that place. Pay and you will get something. If you have a screen, the Reflected Light, and the equivalence of form, you can go ahead and receive.
So until the Light reaches phase four in every Sefira of the world of Nekudim, nothing is shattered. Only when phase four begins to receive from the upper Light does it bring about the shattering. And now the problem is that these vessels are corrupt and distorted. They distorted the goal, and from now on they no longer feel that altruism is an exalted, great property. They don’t see any point in bestowal. On the contrary, all their aspirations, their search for pleasure, and inner genes are aimed at receiving for their own sake.
If the genes, not corrupt by the shattering, were active in us, things would be totally different! Then we would yearn for bestowal having no other choice, like beasts. All our internal genes, all our desires, everything stems from the shattering.
I “carry” all the world of Infinity that tried to receive egoistically after me. You can imagine what a “bag” of ego I am carrying. New egoistic desires keep popping out from this bag, revealing my big ego to some extent.
This is all a problem that was created after the shattering, when I felt some taste in receiving for myself, and how this taste attracts and lures me. I know that it is the “potion of death,” but this can’t stop me either. I am ready to die, just to enjoy! This is what happens in our life, and we feel it very clearly.
Rabash says in one of his articles that a person can reach such love of friends that he is ready to die for that love, to give his life for the society. It isn’t some accidental urge, but a sober calculation because the upper Light operates in a way that a person begins to appreciate bestowal more than himself. But in our egoistic state everything is the opposite: I appreciate the pleasure I receive more than I appreciate my life.
That is, we see from these two examples that pleasure is the foundation of the entire creation. Man is not afraid to die—if he experiences pleasure before that.

Rabash, Shlavei HaSulam (Steps of the Ladder), “Concerning the Importance of Society”: Therefore, when it comes to the work on the path of truth, a person should seclude himself from other people. This is because the path of truth always requires strengthening as it is against the world. This means that a person should be absorbed only in thoughts about “single authority,” called “bestowal,” and not “public authority,” which is self-love. This is called “two authorities”—the Creator’s authority and one’s own authority.
This is all clear, but the problem is in implementing it. Each of us is under their own authority, and we don’t understand what it means to be under someone else’s authority: “So do I have to become a slave? For if there is an authority, there is also a master?”
Actually we should be under the authority of the altruistic desire instead of under the authority of the egoistic one. It is very hard to understand these things. We simply don’t see where and how all this takes place.
But eventually, thanks to the study and the participation in the life of the group, a person summons a slight illumination upon himself, and he begins to gradually wake up. Then he is ready to hear about “public authority” and “single authority,” about the authority of the Creator and the authority of the creature, about the attribute of bestowal and that of reception…. It is very hard to clarify these details but when a person identifies them, he begins to understand what is happening to him.
The sages said that it is a long path, but we can shorten it if we listen to their advice. The advice is simple: Do you want to feel that you are on the higher degree, in the next dimension? Build it and form it. Connect with those who want the same thing, and then together summon the upper force so that it will build the network that will become your next degree.
Everything takes place in a person’s perception. The Creator Himself is inconceivable. We perceive Him only in the mutual relationship between all parts of reality, which we are able to perceive. If you change your attitude towards reality, this attitude will become your Creator (Boreh), from the words “come” (Bo) and “see” (Reh).
Now the “Creator” for you is the egoistic force that dwells in the entire reality you perceive. This is how you perceive and feel it. So change it by the Light that Reforms. There is this force that you can evoke, and it is your next level.
All the degrees already exist in that dimension, in that “channel” of information and power, from which you can receive everything. Join it and you will receive everything. Do you want to know what tomorrow will bring? You will know what tomorrow will bring. Do you want to know how to change things? You will know how to do that. Just connect. This, in fact, is the Light that Reforms.
On the whole, our approach is to connect to one another and to summon the Light that will perform this connection correctly. We should show our readiness according to the state we are in and ask for correction.
It is very easy to do that. Therefore, Rabash’s articles about the society are so simple and clear. They are not many, and all these materials can be printed on a few dozen pages. The whole method is in them. Everything else is additions that help us draw the Light, while in order to describe how to organize a group to which we draw it, ten pages will be enough.
As for today, our work is first of all to organize ourselves correctly and then to ask for correction.
