Questions about Spiritual Work—18

281.02Question: Why does the Creator send troubles to the righteous, and they depart from this world first?

Answer: Because they have to move forward.

Question: If you have already passed through lowliness and can be nothing, then what else can you ask the Creator for? I do not feel the need for anything anymore. “Save me!” but from what?

Answer: From the fact that you are distanced from your friends and cannot reveal the Creator in the connection between us.

Question: You always give the example of Rabbi Shimon whose disciples hated each other, but they did great work. Why would there be hatred between them?

Answer: They were doing great work—the connection between them—because they tried to be only in this aspiration, constantly, continuously, and in any circumstances.

Question: What prevents me from being honest with myself and why is it so difficult? After all, I harm myself and the ten. How can I correct this?

Answer: You are afraid to reveal that you are such an egoist. Everyone will know who you are, what you are, what thoughts you have in your head, and what desires you have in your heart. You want to embellish and hide it all. Stop worrying about it.

Question: Rabash writes that the Creator waits until one reveals what he has to do. I know what I have to do, and we have a long way to go. What do we need to worry about?

Answer: You only need to worry about the fact that when you connect with each other, you cannot experience love for the Creator.

A Driver Explaining the Wisdom of The Torah

202.0Question: In the article “The Donkey Driver,” the driver intervenes in the conversation of the sages, asks them questions, and explains the wisdom they do not know about. How can it be that, while seemingly at a level below them, he explains the wisdom of the Torah to them?

Answer: When you read an article for the first time, it really looks strange and you do not understand what it means.

The fact is that it seems to us that the donkey driver has to serve the donkeys and their bags. Yet, the people he takes with him are big scientists and rich people who travel from place to place.

But the driver does not think they are special. In our world, we are connected with each other, but we do not understand the purpose of other people and their spiritual value. Gradually they reveal themselves to us, and we begin to understand that we were wrong by not appreciating them and by treating them disdainfully. First we had to somehow change ourselves.

It shows how we can reach a state where we begin to understand that we are dealing with the Creator, with His manifestations. From this moment onward, our path begins to straighten.

A Heart-Opening Convention

931.02The upcoming convention that will be held at the end of the month is called “Opening the Heart.” How can we prepare ourselves for the convention in order to really feel how we present the Creator with a heart ready to be purified?

Many people from different countries will come to the convention ready to join the global connection in order to feel like one man with one heart. And in this way, we will achieve a great force, and it will be easier for us to draw the Creator to us, as it is said: “My sons have defeated me.”

This convention is another step toward final correction. We can achieve anything we want during it; there are no restrictions on this.

After all, we live in the era of the Messiah, in the so-called “last generation,” and we study according to the correct methodology. Everyone only needs to direct their heart toward the connection with the ten, with hundreds and thousands, and thus all together to connect with the Creator.

We need to understand what it means to be together. After all, the convention is not just a gathering in one hall, but everyone needs to feel that he is ready to provide a place for everyone in his heart and mind.

Don’t Push Away Thoughts of the Creator’s Mercy

534Question: What are the subtleties of the concept of “righteous“?

Answer: A righteous person justifies the Creator after all causes and consequences. He cuts himself off from all scrutinies as if they do not exist and sees the goodness of the Creator in everything that exists. As it is said: “Even if a sharp sword is placed on his neck, he should not give up on mercy.”

Therefore, everything is not as it seems to us. The righteous man sees his destiny only in the fact that he wants to justify the Creator. And when he discovers that he cannot do it to the end, he feels like a huge disaster. In the end, this leads him to correction.

Our path is precisely to go through absolutely all adversities, to justify the Creator in everything, and to see His greatness and kindness.

For the Sake of a Common High Feeling

528.01Question: In the ten, we are constantly trying to become one person with one heart, but the further we advance, the more our opinions differ. At the same time, we revealed that there was a very warm joyful feeling. Will we come to the point where everyone will be ready to gladly give up their “I” for the sake of this common high feeling?

Answer: It does not matter if your opinions are opposite. We are saying that everyone in the ten should be connected; everyone should have their own opinion, each with their own desire, with a point in the heart, and with the root of their soul.

Naturally, each of us is against the others, separated from the others. But we are building a common system above egoism, which separates and divides us. Therefore, we need to understand that the most important thing is connection above our separation and distancing. This is our work.

Sefirot—The Highest Illumination

232.01Question: If Partzufim are desires, then what are Sefirot?

Answer: Sefirot is from the word “glow” (sapir). When light enters the desires and shines in them, then these desires are called Sefirot. And the worlds, from the word “olama,” which means concealment, on the contrary, conceal the light in themselves.

Man, ascending the steps of the spiritual worlds, reveals this illumination, and the concealment disappears.

The Difference between Partzufim

571.03Question: How do Partzufim differ from each other? We know that desires in our world differ both in quantity and quality. For example, there is a difference whether I get pleasure from drinking tea or I enjoy power when I control several million people. And what about the spiritual?

Answer: There is practically no difference. Egoistic power is egoistic, altruistic is altruistic, and therefore, there are no special differences.

If we perform spiritual actions, that is, giving, uniting, and fulfilling others, then we feel that we are giving, getting closer, and rising to higher spiritual levels.

At the same time, at each stage there is increasing connection with the Creator. This is the difference between the Partzufim.

Determining the Point in the Heart

963.1Question: How do you determine who has a point in the heart and who does not?

Answer: As a rule, if a person has a point in his heart, he does not leave us. He cannot leave!

But if it is still in a minimal, undeveloped form in a person, then he must somehow lead himself through several circles of development: in business, in religion, in some other society. But if this is a normal point in the heart, he will not leave us because it will not receive nutrition anywhere else.

It all depends on what the point in the heart requires, because it is the highest, most ardent desire. It requires a source of nutrition—someone who will feed it and fill its desire. A person can only find it here; therefore, he will not leave. But only a small number of people are classified as individuals with a point in their heart. In any case there cannot be many of them.

Question: How do you determine the presence of a point in the heart? Do you look at a person and understand that this one has a point in his heart and that one does not?

Answer: Yes. But this still does not mean anything because a lot depends on the person himself: the way he can realize himself, join the group, find contact with me and with the books.

The Connection between the Partzufim and the Worlds

548.01Question: By acquiring the quality of bestowal, a person begins to be filled with connection with the Creator. The part of the spiritual Partzuf in which he makes the calculation is called the head. The part into which the light enters is the body. And the part in which he cannot bestow is the lower limbs.

As a result, the human body in our world also looks like this, although we are talking about desires. What is the connection between the Partzufim and the worlds?

Answer: The worlds are also creations of forces that consist of certain desires: head, body, and lower limbs. Meaning, it is a collection of individual desires that combine in a certain way to impact nature.

There are five Sefirot, five Partzufim, and five worlds. They are divided into five because this is the quality of light, the quality of the force of bestowal, and the quality of the force of reception, which have the ability to connect with each other, by getting closer in five stages, which are called Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut.

Then, from the highest stage of Keter, the qualities of light gradually descend and approach the qualities of the last stage—Malchut.

There Are no Personal Hardships

544Question: How can overcoming personal hardships strengthen the ten?

Answer: Personal hardships should be included in the ten; otherwise, you will not be able to escape from them.

A person has no personal hardships; they all arise only from the fact that there is no common desire in the ten to be one whole.
