From a Meaningless Life, We Will Come to Harmony

715Question: I look at people. Today, anyone can post a video and talk about themselves or others. People write a lot on the internet. There are personal blogs, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, whatever you want. And in general, we all know what is happening in the world today. What kind of time are we living in now?

Answer: Our entire existence emphasizes our meaninglessness. This meaninglessness is so complete that there is absolutely nothing. That is why there is apathy.

Question: Is this the time for understanding or figuring out why I live? Has that time come now?

Answer: Yes, it is the time to realize that there is no meaning in our life. And where is it?

Question: Where is it?

Answer: It is nowhere.

Question: At the same time, everything I see is joyless, empty. So what should I do? Where is this meaning of life? Where is that something to make me come alive again?

Answer: The meaning of life lies in the fact that there is nature, vast, immense nature, and there is a thought that governs this nature, sets it in motion, and creates it.

It is this thought, this design, this great intention of nature that we must reveal. And then we will get to know the meaning of life.

Life is everything. What does “everything” mean? It is inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human nature. All of it has a certain meaning that lies above all of it. Meaning is what binds, organizes, and moves all of this. So we must rise above our life.

Question: Are you calling on a person to become a scientist?

Answer: Not a scientist, no. We must simply open our eyes.

Question: And understand the intention behind everything?

Answer: Yes, why nature created all of this.

Question: And what is that intention?

Answer: That is exactly what nature is pushing us toward. That is what we must reveal.

The intention is to rise above our world because this world is actually the worst of all worlds. And that is not a poetic expression. To rise above it means to discover this intention, this force, this thought, this design.

And when we attain this thought, we begin to perceive everything beyond time, beyond space, beyond everything. Then a person begins to feel himself on the level of the Creator.

Question: So what is this thought?

Answer: It is harmony. Absolute harmony among all parts of creation. It is something that we lack. And that is why by acting on us in this way, nature is driving us toward attaining that harmony.

This is what we must reveal. We cannot escape from it. We will not be able to just destroy ourselves completely or forget it. We will have to reveal and attain this harmony.

In Him Is the Root of My Soul

252Question: You are not a sentimental person, so why is it that when we speak about your teacher Rabash, I often see your eyes suddenly become moist, as if you become a different person. A really different one!

Answer: There is nothing to be done because the root of my soul is in him. That is why I become different.

Question: You found your soul that way, right?

Answer: Yes, that is, somehow, millions of years before I met him, the root of my soul was there, and little by little, I was as if digging for it there until I found it. I do not know how to put it in words.

Question: So your journey through this life, all of your search was leading to this root of your soul in one way or another?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: Then you are a happy person; you found the root of your soul. Everyone needs that.

Answer: Everyone has it, and everyone must search for it.

There Will Be No Disappointments

202.0Question: What is your opinion on the claim that there is a suicide gene? They say American scientists have identified 22 suicide-related genes. Does this gene really exist? Do you believe it has an effect?

Answer: As far as a gene, I do not know, I am not an expert in that field. But a predisposition to it certainly exists. The Japanese have it, and there are other peoples and tribes, or historical periods when it appears, and so on.

Question: And how can one supposedly overcome this predisposition or gene?

Answer: With the meaning of life.

Question: Meaning? Only the search for meaning?

Answer: Only that. What else is there? The meaning of life and its correct realization are leading you to a new life even now. You do not need to die or imagine anything. You can see your future world already in this life. It is right in front of you; it only depends on the correct realization.

Question: Can you tell us what the meaning of life is?

Answer: The meaning of life is to change one’s nature from receiving to bestowing, from hatred to love, from rejection to rapprochement with others. Then within these qualities, you will feel an entirely different form of existence. It will be an opposite world.

You will find fulfillment in the act of fulfilling others. And in that, there will be no disappointment.

Comment: It would be wonderful if a person could really live like that!

My Response: We will reach that.

281.02Question: Are the desire to want to bestow and the desire to bestow two different Kelim, or is it the same Kli? Can the Creator also be revealed in the desire to want to bestow?

Answer: Yes, all of this will become clearer, more defined, known, and attainable for us.

Question: Outside of our circle, how can we influence what is happening with us now, in Israel? Is there any possibility?

Answer: I do not particularly see what can be corrected in those circles of the Kelim that are not yet engaged.

I think this requires further work on our part. Then we will feel precisely what we are missing.

It’s Mind-Boggling!

237Question: For you, does God exist?

Answer: There is a Creator for me. It is the one who created everything, including you, and wants you to fulfill your purpose.

Question: What is it?

Answer: Your purpose is to reach His level, to become similar to Him. That is why a person is called “Adam” from the word “Domeh” – “similar” to the Creator.

Question: Then again, similar to what?

Answer: To the Creator.

Question: And what does that mean? What is that quality?

Answer: It is the quality of bestowal, the quality of creation, the quality of governing all the worlds. This is the state a person must attain.

Question: Anyone in our world?

Answer: Absolutely everyone!

Comment: It is mind-boggling!

My Response: But you will come to it, whether you want to or not.

God, Creator, or the Upper Force?

761.2Question: The God that many people think of, does He exist?

Answer: He does not exist.

Comment: But there is a God, as you say, who is called…

My Response: The Creator, the upper force.

Question: And what is that really?

Answer: It is the supreme force of nature, which includes all of nature. The Creator Himself is God. Nature itself is God. Not the nature of our world, but the general one, which we can already begin to reveal to the point that we can unite with it, with this nature. We can even govern it. The Creator wants us to be at such a level in order to become partners with Him.

Question: And when you say the word “nature,” what do you mean by that?

Answer: I mean all the worlds. Of course, our world does not even count. All the worlds, including five worlds in total, which are all included in and governed by one single force, one single law, this law of unity is the Creator.

Comment: I see, but this is quite elevated.

My Response: Not really if we are talking more or less about some kind of approximation to the truth. And that is why, naturally, I seem…

Comment: Like an atheist, a non-believer God, and so on.

My Response: Yes.

281.02Question: Let’s say a ten is working to reach a state of faith above reason. What is the correct path: to reach a state where faith above reason becomes absolutely perfect or to strive to attain upper reason?

Answer: In principle, both are necessary. That is why I cannot say specifically what exactly this ten needs. To answer that, one would need to know them more closely.

Question: If I see my friends as great, corrected, loving, and helpful, does that bring us closer to the Creator?

Answer: Yes.

From Language to Language

243.04Comment: When you transmit Kabbalistic information in Hebrew and in Russian, it seems like there are two different people. It is as if you are translating some things from Russian.

My Response: No, I practically do not translate from Russian, although sometimes it happens. In Kabbalah, after all, what I felt was lived through in Hebrew.

And if I want to express myself sensorily and then convey it in some Kabbalistic forums, then, of course, I translate, because my sensory language on the earthly level is still Russian. But it also depends on how; it is very conditional.

I am adjusting from language to language, although my pronunciation leaves much to be desired, and my vocabulary is not that great. But if it is close to Kabbalah, then I think it is more in Hebrew.

If I am teaching a lesson or lecture in Hebrew, I am thinking in Hebrew, and I do not have any Russian words inside me. It happens sometimes that I somehow do not find the appropriate expressions. But when I search for words, I search based on my feelings that have not yet been put into words, and therefore, there is no such thing that I first put feelings into Russian, and then into Hebrew.

Where Can Egoism Lead Us?

115.06Comment: According to statistics, when someone attacks another person and sees signs of weakness, the attacker often feels an even greater urge to harm them.

My Response: Naturally, that is our egoism. When we see someone else’s weakness and we are confident that we will not be punished, we instinctively desire to suppress them even more.

We are very easily drawn to extremes, either one way or the other. It all depends on society, on the environment, which can influence us in either direction. It is an enormous force that resides within us, a terrifying force!

Right now, we are at a pivotal point in historical development where we can turn one way or the other. We could slide back into fascism, only this time, it would be far worse culminating in a world war of such magnitude that only a small remnant of humanity would survive, which is a scenario like those shown in Hollywood films: a destroyed Earth, with the remaining people living among heaps of metal and junk, the last remnants of everything that once existed.

Kabbalah says this is possible. Still, the people who remain will fulfill their task of bringing egoism to its corrected form. But this will happen through immense suffering.

How to Become Needed

627.1Question: Do you know how many elderly people feel unnecessary? Neither their children, nor their grandchildren, nor anyone else needs them. There are so many like that. They feel that nobody needs them. How can a person learn to feel needed?

Answer: I believe the key is not to look for someone who needs you on a personal level but rather to ask: What can I do that would be good and useful for a large number of people, for all of humanity?

Question: Really?

Answer: Of course. Today, everything is designed to make us as independent from each other as possible. And when someone tries to step in and help, we do not want that.

Question: So you mean that a simple grandmother can open herself up to the world and can be useful to the world, to people?

Answer: Absolutely! If she understands what true benefit for the world and for others means, she will find her place in it.

Question: Can you gently suggest what kind of benefit she might bring to the world?

Answer: She can teach herself and others how to be properly interconnected with one another; that would bring an enormous positive force into the world and make the world better.

Question: That is, she should just think about this connection every day and try to build it in some way?

Answer: She can do it this way, yes.

Comment: Especially in the age of the Internet. That could give her a sense of being needed.

My Response: Yes.

Question: Is the desire to feel needed the meaning of life? Could that be the meaning of my life?

Answer: No, that is not the meaning. It is only a means. The meaning of life must be something higher than that.

Question: Is the meaning of life in establishing good, kind connections with others, as you said?

Answer: Yes. Absolutely!

Question: And that meaning will fill a person?

Answer: It certainly will. A person will begin to feel that he has this meaning. Through this fulfillment, through the connection between us, we rise to the next level, and we can fill ourselves for another hundred years ahead.

We enter a system in which we are all connected. It is an entirely new sense of life. We live as if in a single body.

Question: Could there be a “second youth” after 70 or 80 in the sense that you are describing?

Answer: Absolutely! A person opens himself up to the society that he is in, that he is helping to build.

Question: And his thoughts about good connections, new connections, are those thoughts renewing?

Answer: That is exactly what we need to do.
