My Response: Relax and do not try to change anything. Drift calmly with the flow of life. Accept what is. Everything that happens is done by the Creator. So, do not contradict Him, but feel connected to Him at every moment.

Question: What can we do with the fears that constantly spur a person?

Answer: There will be no fears! Because fear stems from wanting to secure a specific future for yourself. But that doesn’t exist here.

Question: So fear arises when you do not agree with Him?

Answer: Yes. But here that isn’t the case. The future vanishes; it simply isn’t there. In other words, every moment is like passing away and leaving nothing behind. There is peace. What has been, will be. You know, like the inscription on Solomon’s ring?

Question: Yes. So you think that if a person gets used to this formula, if he lives it, exists with it, then it will free him from fears and even from pain?

Answer: It is not just about being free from fear and pain, but also about being properly connected with nature, with the Creator.

Question: What is the result of it?

Answer: This will give you a connection with the Creator, peace, closeness, and simply connection.

Comment: The famous couturier Karl Lagerfeld managed to create his own image in fashion, and his statements are very popular. Yet it is surprising just how incredibly egoistic they are!

“I am a sort of vampire, taking the blood of other people” (The Observer Magazine).

“Vanity is the healthiest thing in life” (The Guardian).

“I hate intellectual conversations with intellectuals because I care only about my own opinion” (The World According to Karl).

People marvel at the way he speaks.

My Response: He speaks very well, straight to the point. He truly expresses what comes from his own nature.

He stated his credo very succinctly, like an ordinary person albeit one who understands his nature. He is peaking the truth!

Question: What is it in his statements that fascinates people?

Answer: What captivates them is that he says things they are afraid to say.

Question: So this exists inside a person?

Answer: Naturally, because each of us is like that.

Question: Does a person have a feeling that vanity is the healthiest thing in life?

Answer: Of course, because vanity elevates us. What else in our world can raise a person above everyone else? What is considered victory, achievement, success? nothing but the fulfillment of vanity.

Question: But you are engaged in a science that does the exact opposite aren’t you?

Answer: I am, yes. But “real” people, people like him, they glorify this nature. But it is nature! Therefore, it cannot be denied.

I think he is right in expressing himself so beautifully. He opens people’s eyes to what they actually are.

Question: Should we somehow fight this or not?

Answer: Why should we? On the contrary, we must open people’s eyes to the fact that they are like this, and perhaps this will lead them to the recognition of evil.

Question: Is this precisely what you call upbringing? Revealing that is is who they really are to a person?

Answer: Of course, absolutely. Only the revelation of evil in a person will compel one to correct oneself, to see “This is my nature, and it is evil.”

I like talking with people who are opposite to me yet are open and frank. That is the truth. Truth stands above everything else. If we gloss over the truth, what will come of it? We will never be able to accomplish anything in our world. We will always limit ourselves to half-statements,  vague hints, and evasions. And then what?

Without the revelation of evil, you will not even know or understand what good is and what it ought to be, or how to build it as the opposite of evil.

For example, imagine looking at an article of clothing and seeing something bad, baffling, incorrect, crude, or repulsive about it. Then you realize: it is turned inside out! You simply need to reveal the right side. And so you reveal it. Evil and good are two sides of the same upper force.

Question: What is the ultimate formula for you?

Answer: It is written in Kabbalah that “Love covers all transgressions.” It means that there is no other way to attain love; it is impossible to achieve that “covering” or the transformation of all the evil within oneself.

Only after all transgressions are revealed do you realize that love must necessarily take their place! It must cover them all—not destroy them! They must exist together. Only together, when they help and nourish each other in this way, will they truly exist.

Comment: In 2019 the Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to scientists for their work in lithium-ion batteries and were recognized for “laying the foundation of a wireless, fossil-fuel free society” (New York Times, 10/9/2019).

Until now, humanity was always tied to an electrical outlet and lived from the outlet. And here they have created a line of such batteries with which a person can move freely around the world.

My Response: In our time, of course, it means a lot if a person becomes freer from the outlet. But what comes next?

I do not think this discovery will free humanity. It will simply enslave it in another way. Everything is moving toward showing a person that happiness is not in the battery.

We see that humanity is not becoming happier. On the contrary, the more toys, technology, and all sorts of things it has, the more it becomes confused in its life.

Question: You often emphasize that no invention on our earthly level means anything to you?

Answer: It will give nothing. Absolutely nothing! But these inventions will lead humanity to the recognition of evil. Everything we invent, supposedly for the benefit of our egoism, ultimately leads us to evil and to the recognition of this evil.

Comment: So if humanity were to stop and invent nothing at all..

My Response: We cannot stop, because the same egoism drives us toward progress so that we will understand that we have no choice but to correct the ego itself.

Question: Why does humanity constantly invent more and more things?

Answer: It wants to achieve a calm, good life. But the result is the opposite.

Comment: Indeed: nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and immediately nuclear energy that wipes everything out.

My Response: Yes, and it is the same with everything. People cannot invent anything good or benevolent. Nothing at all!

Question: What invention would you call eternal, beneficial to humanity, and capable of leading it to happiness?

Answer: The correction of man’s evil nature—that alone. There is nothing else.

Comment: But first people must realize that they live with an evil nature.

My Response: That is precisely what drives them toward that realization. The world is in a state where it no longer knows what to do with itself.

At one time we thought that socialism, communism, or capitalism would save us, or something else, some form of freedom, liberalism, and so on. But everything very quickly leads to the realization of evil.

Comment: You used to say that humanity’s development was once a linear progression of egoism with the thinking things would get better and then communism would eventually arrive. But now egoism seems to have closed in on itself.

In other words, we have become interconnected, like a single village, yet the same old pursuits continue, and humanity still fails to grasp the evil nature within itself.

My Response: I think we will reach a point where humanity will say: “It would have been better if we had not invented this!” As for the atom, it can already say this today. And they will say the same about everything else.

And what was wrong with living in caves? What exactly?! Absolutely nothing. When people know what they have, they realize that it is enough for them.

Question: So huddled together around a fire, people were happier than those who today run around with electric batteries?

Answer: Of course! Without a doubt. There were more opportunities to be happy there.

Well, what can you do? It is written about this: “One who increases knowledge increases sorrow,” or “One who increases wealth increases suffering.”

Question: Do you think these sayings are still relevant today?

Answer: More than ever!

Question: We cannot help but increase our knowledge, can we? Egoism drives us.

Answer: We cannot. We cannot help but increase both wealth and knowledge. Egoism will constantly push us to do so.

The goal is to bring us to the recognition of evil, specifically that the evil lies in our very nature and evil lies in the fact that we believe the world we live in is what needs improving. But it cannot be improved; we must rise above it.

Question: In other words, we must change ourselves. Will we reach that point within our lifetime? I would love to see the truth of your words come to pass.

Answer: I do not believe that this will happen that quickly. But personally, that does not concern me. What difference does it make when it happens? Regardless of the state we are, it will happen to all of us eventually.

Question: Are you saying that the entire path of technological progress, technological revolutions, and even the Nobel Prizes awarded for them have ultimately brought harm to humanity?

Answer: Everything! All of it exists only so that we may recognize the evil within it. Can you imagine how I must sound saying this?

Question: Do you realize what you are challenging? Everything!

Answer: Everything! Absolutely everything!

Comment: Scholarships, scientific research, universities, factories, industries, everything.

My Response: Until a person understands what all of it is truly for, nothing should be placed in his hands, not even a small gadget, let alone an atomic bomb. Otherwise, this is exactly what happens. Our entire life is spent neutralizing the negative effects that this progress has on us.

Question: So our present condition is, in a way, the consequence of this progress? All these downfalls, all these viruses?

Answer: Yes. We do nothing but neutralize its negative consequences.

Question: Then would you stop all technological progress?

Answer: All of our progress has been aimed solely at allowing us to act egoistically, however we please. to behave selfishly without suffering the consequences.

Question: Under what condition is technological progress beneficial and necessary?

Answer: Only to the extent that it helps us become more closely connected with one another.

Question: Only if that is its purpose?

Answer: Yes. We do not realize where egoism leads us when it is the only thing we develop. Everything that comes from it ultimately becomes harmful, and in the end, it will have to be stopped. I am not advocating that people suddenly reject everything, as some do today. I am speaking about the overall course of humanity.

Comment: So we should not give up medicine, of course.

My Response: We should not give up anything. We simply need to behave correctly toward nature. Wherever you can act according to the law of connection, goodness, love, and so on, act! Everything else should be set aside. Then you will see how everything begins to form a completely different picture.

Comment: You realize that you will receive a flood of letters and comments saying that you are against progress, against the development of humanity.

My Response: I am in favor of reasonable progress, which consists of combining the egoistic and altruistic forces of nature so that they work together. Both the left line and the right line are necessary, but there must also be the middle line that guides them forward.

Question: On that basis, will the process that follows be correct? Precisely because of this combination?

Answer: Yes. But at some point, we departed from this correct relationship with nature and began developing in only one direction—for the sake of egoism alone.

Question: Is that why we have wrecked the environment?

Answer: Yes, everything! Not only the environment; we have ruined the human being!

Question: Can you give an example of a request just off the top of your head?

Answer: Let’s say I have a habit of stealing. I have been caught many times, beaten for it, imprisoned, and so on. Eventually, I come to the conclusion that stealing only harms me.

I begin asking the Creator for help. But I see that it does not help much. Then I start thinking: “Why is it not helping?” It turns out that doesn’t help much because I am asking Him only because I want my life to be better; it is not because I want to become a better person, but because I want things to be better for me. In that case, He does really help.

But if I ask Him to truly make me a better person, then He will help me. Everything depends on the purity of the request, on how much it is directed toward others, and how far removed it is from my own egoism.

Comment: When I ask for things to be better for me, there is no answer. But when I ask to become better, we have changed only one word here.

My Response: Yes, then there is an answer. Why? Because when I ask for things to be better for me,  even if t not through stealing, that is, it is practically a form of stealing. He doesn’t really help with that. But when I ask for things to be better for others, then yes.

Question: So that I become better in my relationship with others? And in that way I myself become better?

Answer: Yes. When it pains me that I am taking from others, then, if I ask Him for help, it will work.

Question: What does nature want from us?

Answer: Nature wants us to want to be good and kind.

Question: Stop being evil and become good? What do you mean by “good and kind”?

Answer: Good and kind means that absolutely everyone is truly pleased with you. Not in this world. This cannot happen in our world. Those egoists around us… .

Question: So, I am not just playing along with those who want… ?

Answer: No. When I speak about humanity and about nature in general, I mean
a completely different level of existence.

Question: When will they be pleased with me? What is the goodness they expect
from me?

Answer: When I correct them, and they become absolutely good,
perfect, and corrected.

Question: Correct whom?

Answer: All people.

Question: I have to correct all people?

Answer: Of course.

Question: Me?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is this my job? Correcting things is the Creator’s job!

Answer: It is your duty.

Question: Perhaps I need to correct myself rather than all the others around me?

Answer: This is how you correct yourself.

Question: By correcting all people, I correct myself?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: This is something new. By correcting myself, I correct people.

My Response: It is the same thing.

Question: Is it really the same thing?

Answer: Of course. You see yourself in people.

Question: So, if I help with their correction, I am thereby correcting myself?

Answer: It is one and the same! You see a reflection of yourself. In this way, you correct the Creator.

Question: Every sentence is a revolution. The Creator needs to be corrected?

Answer: Of course. We have to create Him!

Question: Is He imperfect? Is He not constant?

Answer: He does not exist at all; you have to create Him! Constantly strive to make Him better and better.

Comment: We will never unravel this riddle.

My Response: No. Nor do we need to!

Question: So we should just leave it at that? Create the Creator?

Answer: Yes. That is exactly what is written in the Torah: “You have made Me.”

Question: What is wrong with us, what is our ailment?

Answer: Our ailment lies in the fact that we cannot distinguish good from evil, and we cannot gather the good within ourselves and integrate it in such a way that it gradually covers the evil. It is a very difficult path.

Question: So, we will be searching for this good? Something to take, like a pill, in order to escape the evil? In other words, regarding evil, will we come to feel that we are complete egoists?

Answer: That is precisely what will be considered evil.

Question: And will we understand that it is evil?

Answer: Of course.

Question: And then we will ask for some kind of remedy?

Answer: Yes. Because through the suffering, we are already drawing an illumination of benevolent light that can reveal to us where our evil actually lies.

Comment: Is this the most important thing? We always come back to this point. You constantly lead us toward this point: for a person to look and see themselves as they are: evil, bad, and flawed. Usually people are told the opposite: “There is still something good in you; you are capable; you can succeed.”

My Response: That exists only as a starting point. But who are you really? You are absolute evil. Yet, there is a spark within you that will guide you. And you need to fan it into a flame.

Question: What does it mean to draw closer to the Creator?

Answer: Drawing closer to the Creator means becoming included in an endless chain of caring for one another. We must feel that caring for one another is eternal.

Question: Is it eternal, or does it lead to eternity?

Answer: It leads to the sensation of eternity.

Question: So, when we are told, “You can live forever and feel eternity,” we become skeptical and say, “Well, that is fantasy.” Is that because we spend our lives caring only about ourselves?

Answer: Yes.

Question: And if we were able to direct ourselves toward someone else, then it would no longer seem like science fiction to us?

Answer: We will begin to sense that eternity. It is as though you transfer yourself into others, and in that you will feel infinity.

Question: Is the purpose of life contained in this? Is this precisely what it is?

Answer: Yes. Then, through your feelings, you draw closer to the Creator, time disappears, and leaves only sensation.

Question: But what is the Creator like? When I say, “Draw closer to the Creator,” what is it that I actually want?

Answer: To care absolutely for others. For another.

Question: Just like that, without thinking about myself?

Answer: If I am able to forget about myself and think about another, then I enter eternity.

Question: There is not even a tiny thought, a hidden calculation: “What will I get in return?” That doesn’t exist?

Answer: But that is precisely what you will receive. You will begin to feel eternity itself within your attitude toward another.

Question: So, to sum it all up, the main goal is to draw closer to the Creator, and everything around us is given precisely so that we can draw closer to the Creator?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Even wars, suffering, tragedies, and illnesses?

Answer: Without them, we would not be able to feel any of this. They too are necessary. The evil inclination was created specifically so that we would feel ourselves rising above it.

Question: Our task is to rise above all of it?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: I see. Thank you. You have shed light on that as well. For people, these things mean such pain, such suffering, and yet you say, “This too serves that purpose.”

My Response: It is necessary.

Question: And is there no way without it? Is it impossible to pass through life smoothly and effortlessly?

Answer: No. A person is incapable of it. One must pass through malice, through the evil inclination; otherwise, one will not feel the good.

You cannot live in a world of absolute goodness. You must gradually come to it and understand how evil participates in creation and how it helps us become completely good.

Question: Are saying that evil must not be destroyed?

Answer: It must not. It has to exist alongside good and constantly help the good to reveal its unique quality.

Question: And what allows good to keep growing?

Answer: Evil.

Question: So, as soon as evil grows, good will grow as well, and this is how we advance?

Answer: Yes.

Question: To what heights can good rise?

Answer: To complete freedom of will.

Question: What does that mean? What lies behind it?

Answer: It is a state in which a person becomes absolutely good, completely corrected, entirely bestowing, and yet this does not hinder his further development.

Question: Is humanity actually lacking a tiny ray of light in this dark realm?

Answer: Yes. I think that we will gradually break through this foolishness.

Question: What would it take for the Creator to shine a little light? Just a tiny bit?

Answer: He cannot. He has no right! The Creator has no right! Otherwise, He would violate the fundamental law of nature: egoism is completely opposite to Him!

Question: What does this law of nature provide?

Answer: It allows a person to become equal to the Creator at the end of correction. Otherwise, they would not.

Question: So, if He did that, He would suppress the person? The person would simply run after that little ray and keep chasing it forever?

Answer: Yes. In a sense, they might reach something halfway there, but to become equal to the Creator, to be free in one’s actions, to choose (by free will) likeness to the Creator, and to attain this similarity despite all problems—and to achieve that likeness despite all problems—to become independent, that is, to create another image of the Creator from all the laws and properties of the universe, that is what a person must do.

If the Creator were to do this, there would be no point in it. He does not have the right to change anything in these conditions; not even by an iota.

Question: So, according to your words, can we say that after some time, a
complete darkness will come?

Answer: Yes, naturally! The greatest darkness will come before the final correction.

Question: Before the ascent?

Answer: Yes! We have not yet seen it.

Question: So, this is not the end yet?

Answer: No. There will be a universal descent into savagery. As it is written, the nations of the world will rise against the people of Israel, and so on. In general, these will be terrible things.

Comment: You speak of “terrible things” and a “universal descent into savagery,” yet, you still seem to have some inner joy.

My Response: I have joy because this is a necessary stage that we must go through, and we can navigate it successfully by countering the darkness with light. That would truly be a massive leap forward.

Question: What must humanity do if it suddenly faces complete chaos and total darkness?

Answer: We must first grow to that state. Complete chaos and darkness will not be revealed unless we also have the possibility of revealing the light.

Question: Does the Creator give us only what we can endure? Will we be able to bear it and rise to our feet?

Answer: Of course. But for now, it is still dragging on, and on, and on. The more we tell the world about who and what it is, the faster the problems will arise, and the faster we will solve them.

Question: Then why do you keep urging the world to come to its senses? If that is the case, why bother? Let it simply be driven to that state of complete darkness.

Answer: That is exactly how it will be brought there! The more we know, the faster we will be brought to it. But we are obliged to go through it.
