Kabbalah and Physics—Beyond the Quantum Leap

202.0There is nothing outside of our properties. This is incomprehensible to us, but it is very close to quantum physics, to all the latest theories in physics. Of course, physicists have their own “problems,” but still they are smart people, they come to such conclusions without any Kabbalah.

In fact, they are trying to hint through matter that nothing exists. In general, they say that there is only some kind of energy, some waves, and still they cannot say anything about them since all this manifests itself in relation to the observer and is grouped depending on his properties.

The two sciences Kabbalah and physics have come right up to each other, but they will not be able to unite—for this their properties must be changed.

Physicists reach for this with their brains. And although some kind of sensitivity develops in them, it is minimal, at the animal level. And the next level is the one that is explored by a Kabbalah scientist, not a physicist. This is completely different, beyond the quantum leap, where there is light and not particles.

Physicists come to this through the mind. But they stop there, they cannot go any further and claim that physics is at an impasse, in crisis.

It Is Not Easy to Study Kabbalah

961.2Question: What happens to people who leave the Kabbalistic group? Do they disconnect somehow, or do they stay in the system internally?

Answer: Among those who left are people who practically forget about this period of life. After all, the main thing is what a person lives for, and whether one is yearning for the world of bestowal, the upper world, or not.

When people lose this desire they return to the usual corporeal system of values and exist normally, and they have nothing else. Subconsciously, somewhere deep down behind the cerebellum with some kind of posterior brain, they understand that there is something else, but they suppress it in themselves: “Perhaps someday….”

Or life no longer seems so flat to them when a person, like a moth, flies and wants only to bask in its rays. They already feel that there is another world and another life because the illumination remains.

I think that when they leave us they do not have absolute complete joy in this world. Who has it at all today? The feeling that there is something else higher constantly gnaws at a person, but it is hard to reach: “I will leave it for later.”

What can you do? This is not a simple thing. I speak as a person who has been in Kabbalah since 1975. Those who really stay are, of course, heroes. The main part of the world group are people who came to us at the turn of the century.

As If in a Vacuum

125Comment: In Kabbalah, unlike other methods, a person is constantly given a choice. In other places, he gets into an environment that suppresses him. And here he is free to leave even after five years.

My Response: In the process of practicing Kabbalah, a person is always thrown out of its study, and he must strengthen himself again and look for the goal every minute.

It constantly disappears because every minute for him is a point in the path that does not have its own direction, and he must look for a vector again at every step so as not to turn in the other direction. In order to always move in a straight line, he needs to find a direction at each point of it.

He builds his own way. There is no ready way at all! As in outer space, whether you are there upside down, horizontally, or vertically, it doesn’t matter how, you don’t have any landmarks, you have to check and choose them yourself every time. And every minute! You can’t get a foothold, take some corner, and walk along it. There is nothing to measure from!

Create Something that Does Not Exist

961.2A person who studies Kabbalah internally feels that this is exactly the place where he should be.

One feels that this is precisely the truth because in no case does it decide anything for him. And on each path, one not only moves somewhere in a certain direction, but a person himself builds his future state. It does not exist!

All religions and beliefs describe that there is hell somewhere, paradise somewhere, the promised land somewhere, and some temple, some devils, ghouls, angels, no matter who, what, and how. All this does not exist at all!

There is no Creator! He does not exist!

Even a person does not exist! There is an animal in which there is a point, the germ of the soul without any direction, and there are instructions on how to create everything else from this point.

Our world is called “this world” because it does not exist either, there is just an animalistic state. The future world is the next state each time, and you create everything that is in these states by yourself. In the end, you even create the Creator.

Kabbalah is an instruction for a person to exit the animalistic state. There is only a small point in him, the germ of his next spiritual state that he must cultivate and create in himself. This point comes with instructions.

The Lesson Is Light

213Comment: I noticed that the same lesson is perceived differently not only by everyone but even by the same person when he listens to it again.

My Response: Naturally! A person changes and therefore each time he always perceives things differently.

What is a lesson in itself? It is light. A person, depending on his state, places his vessel, meaning his sensations and his qualities under it. It is with his qualities that he determines how he will be affected by what he hears.

Each lesson is a certain measure of light. It depends on the person how and what will happen to it next. Therefore, the different perception of the same lesson lies in the difference in the qualities of a person.

The Crown of a Kabbalist’s Work

239Question: In spiritual work, does the only thing that depends on the Kabbalist is how he builds the screen?

Answer: Of course. But this is the result of a huge number of internal actions, decisions, and analysis. This is the crown of all the work of a Kabbalist.

And he does not build the screen. He prepares all the conditions in order to claim it, and then the next level clothes on him and gives him a screen. This is how he always rises.

He kind of lifts himself up. Now there are such two-level devices adapted for cars, when the car, as it were, lifts itself, transfers it upward and upward with an anchor, and so it moves forward with a progressive, stepping, start-stop movement.

In Kabbalah, such a movement at every step involves analysis: first, the fall (left line), then its realization, then the beginning of work with it, and so on.

A Real Teacher

528.04Comment: You said that you teach students to ask questions correctly because by doing so you pass your matrix to them.

My Response: Otherwise, it is impossible. After all, a student is just an unformed desire; there is nothing else in him except for physical flesh. The teacher helps to form this desire correctly so that it becomes suitable for receiving the light.

A teacher is the one who helps you form or rather shape your vessel.

Question: You received a certain matrix from Rabash. How similar is it to the one you bring to your students? Or are they completely different?

Answer: This matrix is universal, it is one: similarity to the light, the quality of bestowal. Then each student customizes it for himself. I just teach him how to do it, I push him from one side, then from the other side: do it like this, do it like that, and like that.

Even students of an artist or musician still paint or play in their own way. If he is a Master with a capital “M,” he teaches them how to show their talent, peculiarity, and individuality. He does not impose his matrix on them in order to imprint himself in them. First, it is impossible. Second, then this is not a teacher but some kind of corporal in the army.

A teacher is one who helps the student develop individually.

Question: How does the process of individual development of the student happen? What exactly are you doing?

Answer: There is daily systematic work. We see that it takes years.

In the process of spiritual work, students are given some pleasant or unpleasant influences, perhaps a personal example—mostly negative and not positive—so that they see that I am also like that: I get tired, treat someone badly, or something else.

In short, the student must be left with freewill, a place for doubt, a place for reflection: why is it so and not so, is he right or wrong—both regarding the teacher and regarding himself. He must be taught to dare, to doubt, and to make mistakes.

The Greatness of the Teacher

165Question: Should a teacher remain as a teacher for a student or as a system, as a structure? Should a student feel the greatness of the teacher?

Answer: The greatness of the teacher is necessary in order to absorb the method of development from him and to develop ourselves in order to connect to him because he is above you, he is in front of you, and by your side.

Therefore, in order for him to transmit the upper light to you through himself (and it will certainly pass through the teacher), you must connect to him as he connects to his teacher. In order to do that, you have to annul yourself before him in some way. This is called the greatness of the teacher.

That is, you treat him as your source. This is how the world is arranged, according to hierarchy, everything descends from above downward. The students will also have their own students, and so it will continue, like the tree of life.

Great Knowledge that No One Needs

214In the News (Snopes.com): A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousands of people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. …

“In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition. …

“This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of an social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?

“One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?”

Comment: When I read this, I drew this parallel: let’s say our science of Kabbalah, which existed 2,000 years before all religions, currents, and so on, stands somewhere where people move and run by. Nobody asks for any big amount of money for it; people are just asked to pay attention to it because it will tell them about what the basis of the world is and how to become happy in this world—and very few people stop. How many of us are here?

I compared it to that great violinist.

My Response: I don’t believe it can happen by itself. Only if the Creator, of course, changes some initial conditions and initial data in people could this happen.

Question: Then people could stop and suddenly hear?

Answer: Yes. But otherwise, no.

Question: And so they run and pay a lot of money to discover how to become happy and how to become successful.

Answer: People have a need for this, but not in the approach that Kabbalah requires.

Question: Why can’t we adjust the music to people like that?

Answer: We can’t set this up. This requires turning yourself off and turning on completely different sensors, different senses.

True Attainment or Drug Intoxication?

49.01Question: Is it possible to study Kabbalah in a drugged condition?

Answer: No, on the contrary, it requires immense internal tension, absolutely sober thoughts, feelings, and reactions. This is not the buzz, when you have to be in some kind of frenzy surrounded by smoke that is necessary for mystical actions. Here you need a very clear head, and very clear feelings, desires, and thoughts where you know how to manage them.

I used to think that if spirituality is somewhere out there, then the more I disconnect from this world, the closer I will be to the spiritual one, and it will enter me directly. I just open my mouth only half-consciously and—voila! I connect directly.

No! This is absolutely not true. We see this in all of our activities. Spirituality is revealed only with attainment, sensation, effort, and mobilization of internal reserves. Neither alcohol, drugs, nor some kind of ups and downs will help. On the contrary, they disconnect a person from the spiritual and include him in some kind of internal trip and nothing more.

Kabbalah is not just for or against drugs and alcohol. After all, when you are sitting with friends, you can drink a little in order to relax on a human level but not to get drunk, rather, relax a little because a person has internal locks in his relations with others.

In addition, if a person is doing very serious inner work, then alcohol and drugs quickly burn out. It all depends on one’s internal tension.

Kabbalah starts shaking you so much that drugs do not help here. You feel like you fell out of life. The rest have gone far ahead, and you seem to be crawling out of the basement into the light of day.

I have never tried drugs in my life. I had a rejection of any means that could cut myself off from real attainment of the upper world. Therefore, I could not accept any religion or any other teachings. When they told me: “You have to believe, you have to accept, you have to switch off,” it did not exist for me, but only real attainment, real analysis, and synthesis of knowledge.
