Nature is out of balance. Unimaginable phenomena occur in the world. Poisonous rains fall all over the world, terrible droughts occur, and the most interesting thing is that there is no explanation for this. It just happens that way, for no reason.

Therefore, we need to understand that the reason is in us, in people! It is us who are out of balance, and by this we cause the still, vegetative, and animate nature to be out of balance.

Let us hope that this imbalance will not result in world war and that we will be able to put this process in the right direction toward correction. After all, it is not someone alone who is to blame here, but all of us, all of humanity. We can say that some nations are more to blame and others less, but we are all out of balance and cause imbalance in all of humanity and in all of nature.

The main thing is that everyone should understand where this imbalance comes from. The fact is that the natural process of development leads us to closer connection with each other. We all see how connected the world is becoming, how the ties between different countries and nations are strengthening, not only in industry and trade, but we are also getting closer to each other on the internal level.

And at the same time, our connection is incorrect. Trade and industrial ties do not benefit us because they were created with egoistic intentions, form a desire to make money using each other. Therefore, they do not add connection to our world but only reveal our disconnection even more.

But we do not understand it. It seems to us that if we trade all over the world and can agree with each other, then this leads to connection. But no, it only accelerates the awareness of separation.

We need to understand that we require a genuine connection and above all, an awareness in the mind and feelings that we all depend on each other. There is no person in the world who would be free not to make good connections with all the inhabitants of the world. Our whole future depends on how much we understand that only good relations can improve our whole life, and nothing else.

The most powerful weapon is a person’s desire because it is at the height of the Creator. If we want good relations and harmony, to be like one person in a sense of mutual guarantee, then of course everything will get better in the world.

Everyone should feel their connection with everyone else, realizing that we are all together as one humanity, one desire, and one soul in search of one root. And if we all reach for this one root, then everything comes into balance and harmony and there will be no shortage of anything.

Everyone should feel like an inseparable part of the whole world. Humanity is already ready for this. People even in the most remote parts of the planet are ready to feel and accept this idea of universal dependence on each other. The blows of nature that we now feel on ourselves are enough to understand how dependent we are on it and that only nature can help us.

Nature has ways of influencing a person through his belly, children, and everything that is dear to him. In this way, you can very quickly convey to his consciousness that he is obliged to be connected with others for the sake of saving himself and his loved ones.

Medium published my new article “On the Borderline”

There is a reason for the apocalyptic talk that is so prevalent these days. The threat of the Russia-Ukraine war turning nuclear at the beginning of the war, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station that has become a center-point of contention, the growing tension between China and Taiwan, with the active involvement of the US, the constant threat of North Korea to use nuclear weapons — all these and more give the uneasy feeling that the world is on the brink of disaster. There are less catastrophic, but still very painful processes, which are already underway. Inflation is soaring in the US and Europe, accompanied by recessions, and the erratic, violent climate only exacerbates the situation.

These crises are happening concurrently because we are truly on the borderline. We are heading into a new era where our previous, self-centered way of life will become obsolete.

We are shifting from the selfish era into an era of such complete connection and mutual dependence that selfish thoughts, much less selfish acts, will not be tolerated. We will have to learn to be mutually considerate, initially, and mutually caring, ultimately. We will not be able to choose not to care for others because not caring will mean not surviving.

It will not be a bad world. On the contrary, it will be a world where everyone is responsible and cares for everyone else, a world where we will not have to tend to ourselves because everyone else will do it for us. It will be a world without abuse, wars, or crime. The only crime will be inconsideration, selfishness.

I have no doubt these words seem fantastic today. Indeed, we are still far from it. However, revolutions of this kind do not happen overnight; they are a process, and we are already well into it.

The reason I am writing about this now is that we are already on the borderline. We should begin to familiarize ourselves with the concepts and rules that will govern our lives in the future because the sooner we know them, and begin to live by them, the smoother the transition will be.

If we resist the trajectory of the evolution of the world, the threatening situations we are seeing today will materialize. If we embrace these changes, they will happen smoothly and pleasantly. I hope we will choose the latter.

A recent study by Gallup and West Health has found that “rising healthcare costs have compelled nearly four in 10 Americans in the past six months to delay or skip healthcare treatments, trim regular household expenses or borrow money. That translates into an estimated 98 million adults having to take extraordinary steps to afford healthcare.” Considering that in all likelihood, many of these adults have children, this is a huge portion of the American society that is struggling to provide for a basic need like healthcare.

There is no denying that life in America is far from the American Dream, and that despite some good times, life there is tough for most people. However, it seems like the perception of scarcity has also changed and causes more people to grasp themselves as disadvantaged than before.

There are many serious problems in America. There is a deluge of substance abuse, frequent violence, widespread poverty, and pervasive depression and hopelessness. Worse yet, because of the American support for separation between the government and citizens, apart from occasional stimulus and rescue programs, people have been brought up not to rely on the government for financial aid. When people have jobs, they are fine with this way of life. But when there are no jobs, or no jobs that pay enough, they are left deficient, and without any hope of making sufficient income since they cannot find a better paying job or get the money elsewhere. As a result, they find themselves having to choose which necessity to forgo.

From the perspective of the government, the situation is quite straightforward. It wants people to be healthy. However, if they cannot be healthy, it is best if they die, so as not to waste money on treating sick people.

As terrible as the situation may seem, I do not think that it is worse today than it was a century or so ago. More likely, it is people who require more in order to feel satisfied. Since their demands are growing more than their ability to satisfy them, they feel deficient and deprived.

This feeling is especially poignant if people around them seem to have abundance. Since today, when everyone is connected to everyone else and social media presents everyone in their best form, people feel more disadvantaged and deficient than ever.

Materially speaking, I do not foresee any improvement. However, there is a way we can all have more than enough on every level.

If we begin to learn that happiness lies not in material possessions, in having more stuff, but in cultivating our connections with each other, we will discover two beautiful things: 1) We will find that we really do have enough, and then some. We will learn that the problem of adequacy is not a matter of price or quantity, but of an abusive attitude, and we will want to change that attitude. We will find that if we care about people having what they need rather than us having what we want, then they will have what they need and we have what we want. 2) The second thing we will discover is that confidence, trust, and happiness do not depend on what we have, but on guaranteeing that everyone has what they need. Warm and caring relations in the community make for happier, safer, and healthier members of the community, including ourselves.

Therefore, to overcome scarcity in society, we must overcome the antipathy in our hearts.

In the News (ABC News): “Nine European countries said Tuesday that they have seen ‘no substantial evidence’ to support Israel’s allegations that six Palestinian civil society groups are terrorist organizations and would not change their policies on supporting the groups.

“The rare joint statement was a major rebuke of Israel, which backlisted the groups as terrorist organizations last October but has provided little evidence to support its allegations. The rights groups denied the allegations and accused Israel of escalating a long-standing crackdown on Palestinian opposition to its decades-long military rule. …

“’Accusations of terrorism or links to terrorist groups must always be treated with the utmost seriousness,’ read the statement, issued by Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden.

“’No substantial information was received from Israel that would justify reviewing our policy towards the six Palestinian NGOs on the basis of the Israeli decision to designate these NGOs as “terrorist organizations”’ it said.”

Question: Support for creating two states for two peoples was also expressed. How do you feel about the two states for two peoples?

Answer: Very negatively! The nation we are going to be neighbors with has not shown itself to be a friendly country we can exist side by side with in any way.

Question: So they should first act as a neighbor and only then can we be neighbors?

Answer: Absolutely. Let’s do this: Given the current situation, within the framework that we have today, let’s establish normal normative relations between us. Then we can gradually reach the state where we can be neighbors.

In the meantime, nothing can be done.

Comment: As long as everyone claims our land, as long as there is terrorism…

My Response: Yes. This is a well-known tactic of theirs; piece by piece they keep slicing away until they end up swallowing you.

Question: Why is Europe so idealistic?

Answer: They are not idealistic! Nor democratic! They have only one thing, acting in order to pass things off as good deeds. None of it really matters to them at all!

Question: What is important to them? For us not to exist?

Answer: Of course. For them, the existence of Israel is unpleasant to say the least, it is even unbearable! It is choking them.

Question: Are you talking about those civilized countries?

Answer: About all those civilized countries.

Comment: By the way, France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands are there.

My Response: Those are the most anti-Semitic countries.

Question: Why do they have it in for us so much?

Answer: No reason. The fact that we are Jews. That we are Israel. That we are smart. That we can build our own country and win wars.

Question: What should our actions be in this case?

Answer: Not to give an inch. No way!

Question: What policy should we stick to?

Answer: A closed door policy. That is all! You want to kiss the closed door? Please, come and kiss it. We do not negotiate about this.

We have no one to negotiate with! Because we see no partners! You are not partners. You come from the outside and want to force us to sign a contract with those whom you impose on us. We have been in this state for quite a long time—decades! This can be characterized as a positional war.

We seem to be in constant war. The fact is: these are not partners and those are not neighbors. Such is the state we are in. Therefore, we will not listen to these, and we will separate ourselves from those.

Unfortunately, this is our fate until we change. Until we change ourselves in accordance with the upper laws, until we become one good nation for ourselves! Until we come to Kol Yisrael Haverim and we become friends close to each other—absolutely all Jews.

Question: Will this be imparted to our neighbors?

Answer: No, we are not forcing anyone. This is how we want to live ourselves. Let us first build ourselves as a nation where everything exists according to the principle of goodness and mutual kindness.

And until we build this, we will be separate. Then, we will see. If you want to join us by following the same principle, no problem.

Comment: So, what you are saying is that the seed of everything is the kind, warm relations of brothers and sisters. It will be the people of Israel. That is what it should be. And only then, if they want to, neighbors will become neighbors and eventually come join us. The world will become…

My Response: “All around Jerusalem,” as they say. Jerusalem becomes the capital of the world. It is said about this: if the nation follows this, Jerusalem shines on the whole world. All these beautiful countries have to understand and agree to this.

Comment: And we ourselves should agree.

My Response: Yes. But they do it in order to extract billions for themselves, create dozens more commissions, hide behind them, and keep criticizing.

Question: Are they doing this in order to make money and earn dividends on it?

Answer: Exclusively! They are normal basic egoists.

There is a popular saying in Latin America: “Children and drunks always tell the truth.” Why do we lose this sincerity and truthfulness as we grow up? Why does a person develop toward lying?

It is because our mind develops in order to protect us from the harm that we can do to ourselves. Since we are always chasing egoistic fulfillment, we are forced to hide this desire, and therefore, we deceive all the time. It turns out that we are all liars because we do not want to do anything good to others, but we are outwardly hypocritical, pretending that we are doing good deeds toward one another.

We try to hide our intentions from each other, which are aimed only at using others for our own benefit.

Only the environment determines how close or far from the truth a person will be. The environment affects a person and is able to radically change him from one polarity to the other. It can make him good and kind to others, and the opposite to the point where he becomes complete unrecognizable.

If we create a society in which everyone agrees to build good relations as the most important value, then it will be possible to teach both children and adults correct relationships so that everyone feels that they depend on others and are obliged to behave with them carefully. If we feel our dependence on everyone, it will not be at all difficult for us to treat them with warmth.

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “The Hidden Cause Behind England’s Water Shortage”

Despite the recent torrents in London, this summer, England has been experiencing a serious drought. But not only England, most, if not all of Europe has been experiencing a sweltering summer with gigantic forest fires that have consumed countless homes in addition to trees and wildlife.

But there is another problem that is exacerbating the crisis: leaking pipes. Water companies in England and Wales lost more than one trillion liters via leaky ‎pipes last year. In the US, the situation is not much better. According to a report on Technology Networks Applied Sciences, “An estimated 20 to 50 percent of water is lost to leaks in North America’s supply system.”

If the climate is changing and droughts have become more frequent and more severe, why are we not doing something about it? Why are we letting so much water go to waste? There is a simple answer to it, and this is the hidden cause that makes the climate crisis so severe in the UK and around the world: We do not care about each other. If we did, we would not let this happen.

If I were to build a home somewhere for my family, would I not see to a proper water system? Would I not see that it is properly maintained? Of course I would. Because I love my family, I would see that our water supply system is intact.

In other words, the leaking pipes are merely an indication of a much bigger problem: alienation and carelessness among us. Why do we have homeless people? Why are there drug addicts lying in street corners until their lives run out of them? Why are there so many people abused and bullied and enslaved? There is only one cause behind all these wrongs, one problem that we need to fix. From the slightest injustice to the most horrible crime, they all stem from our lack of care, from our indifference, coldness, and the pleasure we derive from other people’s pain. If we cared, or at least did not hate so much, our world would be infinitely better.

Every problem has its scientists and experts who make plans for tackling it. (Notice they do not talk about improving, much less solving it.) They never succeed. For all the budgets that they get, things are not getting any better. There is a good reason for this: There is no care in all their plans, no heart in all their actions.

How come mothers can usually raise their children successfully unless external circumstances beyond their control prevent it from them? In fact, sometimes they succeed despite impossible circumstances, but these are exceptions, not the rule. Mothers succeed because they care, and for no other reason. They have no plans, no foreknowledge about being a mother, and often get conflicting advice from friends and “consultants.” Yet, for the most part, they raise their children fine. Why? because their love guides their actions. If love guided our relations with our fellow persons, we would be living in a very different world, a far better one than we have today.

If previously, we could get away with our negative attitude toward each other, today’s world is so interconnected that everything we do affects everyone else far more quickly and intensely. If kindness, or even mutual consideration were optional until only recently, today they are mandatory.

We can argue that caring for each other is unrealistic and idealistic, that it is an unachievable and naive goal. It may seem that way, but if you consider that the option of letting things continue as they have been leads to certain decimation of much of humanity, I hope you will agree that idealistic or not, it is worth giving it a serious effort. If we acknowledge the fact that we are all dependent on each other, we will realize that no matter what, we must find a way to stop hating, and start caring for each other, even if just a little bit.

We live in a world where it is very difficult, almost impossible, to distinguish truth from lies. What tools do we have for correctly evaluating this? What is truth from the point of view of the science of Kabbalah?

Truth is a good attitude of one to another. Any other relationships is more or less close to a lie. A kind attitude simply means that I care about the welfare of a person.

In order to come to the truth, it is necessary to build the right environment, a group in which a person can learn from others and show them how much he strives to act according to the truth. And the truth is called love and connection—the good, kind influence of a person on a friend. If we wish good to any person in the world regardless of their gender, race, nationality, or religion, this is called goodness and truth.

However the concept of truth is relative because although absolute truth exists, it is a very high category that is still inaccessible to us that we cannot reveal or even approach. It’s almost impossible.

Absolute truth suggests that a person cares about the welfare of any creation: inanimate nature, plants, animals, and especially people, and wants to treat them with kindness and love. That is the truth!

The world is facing a great struggle of man, people, nations, countries, and civilizations working against each other, which will be until they submit to a rational Kabbalistic method that does not require some kind of admiration for us Kabbalists and our elevation above them; nothing like that! Come and be the most important person; who is stopping you?!

Still, it is so hard to accept because it is directed against egoism. It will be a very tough fight.

But little by little, we need to spread this knowledge in the world as widely as possible and work as deeply as possible.

Gradually, it will saturate all egoistic dryness with its juices and from the Reshimot, from these seeds that are in everyone, sprouts will begin to appear.

I think that very soon we will reveal a common force that will shine on us in the connection between us and then it will not just be easier for people. No. New difficulties will appear, but for them it will be like a stage they have already passed, a well of water of life they have found— an elixir of life.

Within the group there is a spring from which everyone can drink cool, clean water. Then your eyes open, all the pores open, and you begin to see and feel everything. And all this happens in connection with everyone else.

Comment: I read an article entitled “The World of the Future.” There was nothing new in the beginning of the article. It concluded that all predictions about the future world boil down to robotics that people will be completely removed from production and will receive a basic income for necessities and some form of entertainment.

The predictions suggest that under such conditions each person could do whatever they wish. If you wish to study, study; if you want more income, organize a job for yourself. Freed from everyday worries, a person will be able to exercise his creativity. The totality of this paradise on Earth will be made possible by 2050.

The article made an interesting point that all forecasts have a fundamental flaw in that philosophers fantasize, but politicians implement. The central question in the article was “Are we really going to surrender our lives to politicians?”

Why would we surrender our lives to politicians?

Answer: We don’t surrender them. They usurp them and ignore us.

Question: Why is it so easy for them to usurp them? These are the lives of our children and our own lives and just like that! Is it within our power at all to stop this?

Answer: It’s a struggle. Such a struggle must take place in a society. It is a serious revolution.

Question: Why do politicians have such power that they can even decide to take a life?

Answer: Politicians are based on the ego of man and humanity. They are the biggest egoists.

They don’t even hide it and they fight among themselves to build a purely egoistic society. They know how to lie, how to do anything.

They share an understanding of how to work so as to not lose power. And even if they do lose power, it will simply pass from them to another.

Question: So, you think they are cold-blooded and just putting on a show?

Answer: They know it all too well and they know just what needs to be done in order for everyone to stay in this game.

Comment: And you say a revolution is still possible and there is a possible way out of this game.

My Response: The way out of this game is possible only through the education of society. Politicians are by no means interested in educating society.

Politicians are not interested in anything. Perhaps, other than that society will vote as they decide or there will be fascism and dictatorship.

Question: In what case would a revolution be possible? Will the masses organize education? What has to transpire?

Answer: Actually, the revolution will happen when the masses realize that there is no other way, only a clear, consistent struggle when you will see (not hear but truly see) the actions of new politicians who will emerge who can organize such relations in society that will result in beneficial, proper connections.

Question: Those are the politicians I have to side with?

Answer: Yes. Although, there are currently no such politicians. There was one actually, but he wasn’t very successful. His name was Karl. Actually, he did make a good story. And to this day, many hide behind him. But in the end, of course it was not based on correct historical facts. Historical facts have to be rooted in the nature of man and the development of mankind has to be under the influence of the upper force.

Question: Do you think this is the main factor he did not account for?

Answer: This is what’s most important: the fact that there is an upper force that determines and directs the entire development of humanity. And everything should be aimed at connection with it, and all connections between people, in the end, should manifest a connection with the upper force between them. That is, the attainment of the Creator should be placed at the apex of all human activity, at the heart of all educational programs, and at the heart of all decisions and laws. In everything— personal, family, social, state, and global development!

Question: When you say attaining the Creator or nearing Him, as you like to say, should be the foundation of everything, how can you explain it to an ordinary person? How can you do that?

Answer: It’s quite simple: we need to be arranged in such a connection between us all that will allow us to reveal the concealed Creator hiding between us.

He wants this connection and He is waiting for this connection in which He can reveal himself to everyone.

Question: Can we rightly say that a new politician who wants to establish education is precisely the one who will lead to this good connection? And thereby he will drain power from egoistic politicians?

Answer: Right. He won’t leave any space for them. He will have to show, prove, and explain to everyone, to all layers of society, to the nations, that this is the proper communism Karl dreamed of.

Question: Will this politician, this new era politician, raise people against other politicians? Or will he have no regard for them? Will this be a revolution against them?

Answer: He will be grateful to everyone who opposes him because he will be able to use this opposition to show how correct his methodology is. Because it will be the truth.

That is, he will not arouse hatred toward them, but on the contrary, he will be grateful to them.
