A Happy Ending For Humanity

laitman_629.1The coronavirus deprived us of confidence in the future, it is covered in fog. It is not known what will happen to me and my life tomorrow or in a month, what will happen at work and at home.

How can one live in such an unpredictable world? But this unpredictability is due to the fact that we are trying to approach the new world with old egoistic standards, while it is gradually appearing before us like a mirage in the desert.

It is getting closer and closer, but we still cannot see it correctly because we are still treat each other egoistically. It was as if we were walking along a road and suddenly we entered an unknown city where some strange relations between residents that are incomprehensible to us. What surprises us is what happens there.

And this is what we are seeing now. We do not realize that we have entered a new era and nature requires us to have completely new relations according to the law of love your neighbor as yourself, for the unification of people. And we are perplexed at what they want from us, like little children to whom mother says: “Stop fighting, be good children! Why can’t you play together?”

But I can’t, my nature demands quarreling and fighting all the time; this is the only way I feel that this is life. And no matter how much my mother reproaches me, I do not want to listen, and I run away and climb into the fray again. This is today’s humanity.

But how can one convince oneself to change and heal in a new way? After all, as soon as we build a communication network between us based on mutual bestowal, love, and unity, we will immediately see where we are. We suddenly find ourselves in a completely different world that we had not noticed before.

So children run after each other between adults, not paying attention to them as if they were furniture. Children have their own accounts with each other and adults only interfere with them. And suddenly the children grow up and understand that there is new meaning, new relationships, another program, a great and lofty goal, which is also worth striving for. This is the state we are in today.

This is a very important period, and although it manifested itself in the form of an epidemic, it should not harm us. I think that the coronavirus will radically change humanity.

We all ended up in the same condition, and let’s begin to gradually change ourselves from mutual hatred and competition to mutual communication and support. We will begin to relate to life and our world globally and integrally, as nature teaches us, and in this form this story will come to a happy ending for all of us: ourselves and our children.

What Does The Virus Reveal?
Universal Vaccination Against All Viruses

Bring The Whole World To Balance

laitman_427.01We exist in a global world where integral laws operate that govern not only our world and our universe, but the entire system of the universe, which includes the five upper worlds. They must be felt, seen, and formed in our perception and worldview. All this is given to us.

If we work incorrectly with this system without taking into account its objectivity, integrality, and interconnection of all its parts, it turns out to be a very bad situation for us. We feel the opposite, a very unpleasant reaction from it.

This so-called “feedback” comes to us at different levels, depending on what distortions we bring to the overall system. We are currently seeing this reaction in the form of the coronavirus.

We cannot say that this is a bad thing because it aligns us, advances us. But on the other hand, it is still unpleasant for us. In fact, for many years we have been at the stage called the last generation where we clearly feel that we live in an integral world. This world should be brought to normal, to a whole, complete system. This work is assigned to man.

Therefore, if we start behaving correctly, we will reveal this system. When we treat it incorrectly, that is, when we do not move toward it by connecting between ourselves and approaching it, and when we do not perceive nature as an integral system, then it automatically reacts to this and there are all sorts of obstacles, as we see them.

But these are not obstacles, on the contrary, they are influences that should direct us differently.
So there is a virus in the world that makes us stay at home and communicate less with each other because there are bad, selfish relationships between us. We have to start behaving differently.

All this is explicitly calculated by nature since we are part of the overall integral picture. We are, as if, placed in a sphere that affects us from all sides. It is this system that identifies the reactions that clearly track what we need to be like in order to get closer to the integrated system. This is how the virus advances us.

I think that in the near future we will feel this more and more, we will become closer to each other and understand each other. We will remove a huge number of unnecessary professions from our world, we will stop treating the Earth as something with a bottomless cellar from which we pull out everything we want.

We will stop treating the atmosphere, water, and oceans as if they are useless parts of nature.

I do not think that we will be able to bring ourselves into proper interaction with the surrounding nature very quickly. Therefore, I would say that we should be prepared for the fact that this condition will continue for the next five or six months.

This will be a very long, serious system of rigid interaction between us and integral nature until we begin to understand that we need to get rid of many professions and occupations, close unnecessary businesses, and take from nature only what is necessary for normal existence and no more.

By our behavior, we disturb the ecology, the dynamic balance of nature, so much that no system can stand it. In general, we must behave in balance with the world around us.

Then everything will calm down and we will really begin to feel through the integral equilibrium world, its upper sphere—the sphere of governance called “the Creator.”

What Should The World Become After The Coronavirus?
If We Want To Be Healthy

On The Threshold Of Renewal Of Humanity

laitman_537Question: Studies have proven that up to 60% of the human genome is modified by viruses. That is, the coronavirus is, in fact, the carrier of structures that are very close to the proteins of our cells.

There is a hypothesis that nature, with the help of the coronavirus, is performing a global reconstruction of humanity. If so, what should we, as humanity, become?

Answer: I do not know. It is of no interest to me. According to what the science of Kabbalah says, we are in the last generation, that is, we are approaching the state wherein we will have to rise above egoism and begin to explore higher properties, levels, layers of nature, where we are outside the body.

There is no inanimate, vegetative, or animate matter there, there is nothing but our consciousness. And all the previous layers of matter will disappear from our feelings and cease to exist. We will come to a world where there is only consciousness.

Question: Is this the reconstruction of humanity? Will humans be different?

Answer: Yes, a new humanity. Such a state is called the last generation. This is what we are going through now. It will continue for some time until the blows of nature and our correct interaction with it will raise us to a level where we will exist only in our consciousness.

Question: Does it mean that there will be no bodies but only the totality of all our desires and thoughts?

Answer: Yes. There will be no sensation of corporeal bodies, qualities, and forces. There will be only consciousness. It will be common for all and everyone will have their own. As it is written in the Torah that “the spirit of God was hovering,” but there is no matter yet.

Remark: It is interesting. It is similar to viruses. I read that they also live in colonies, they have common consciousness, and they understand each other. Can we become a modified virus?

My Comment: We can become the individual souls that interact with each other in this way, forming one common perfect system called “Adam.”

New Life 1224 – A New World Order

New Life 1224 – A New World Order
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi

Nature is requiring all of humanity to become integral, like one person with one heart. We must develop love for everyone who comes into the world. We must make the existing, global connection network altruistic. Viruses will continue to attack us in all kinds of ways until we internalize the fact that only a good connection between us will neutralize them. The viruses will show the world that there is no more room for developing weapons and showing off to each other. The coronavirus epidemic is not just biological, it is also spiritual. The more we try to fight it, the more we will understand this. A new world order means we need to correct the relationships between people until we feel like we are together in one room, as a family.

What The Coronavirus Will Teach Us

laitman_617Question: The coronavirus makes us afraid of being in close proximity to each other. Doesn’t this lead to greater separation between people?

Answer: The virus doesn’t lead us to greater distance from each other but to the realization of how we should be getting closer to each other correctly.

Until now, as egoists, we only get closer to others in order to use them for our benefit, thus, the virus pushes us further away from each other. In the not too distant future, it will teach us how to master the correct intention, internal movement, toward each other so we will get closer without harming one another. You will see this soon.

The coronavirus is very complex and multifaceted. It is not simply a virus but a very wise program from nature that manifests in us and makes us reprogram ourselves in terms of our relations.

Question: Why did the virus appear now rather than, let’s say, a year ago?

Answer: In general, this question always exists. I’m not sure how to answer it. It is just that our impact on nature reaches a certain threshold at which point we cause its negative influences upon us.
The fact is that it is not negative; on the contrary, it is correcting us, moving us forward.

“COVID-19 Will Heal Our Hearts And Then Our Bodies” (Medium)

Medium published my new article “COVID-19 Will Heal Our Hearts and Then Our Bodies”

One of the most remarkable phenomena surrounding the coronavirus is characteristic of our time: conspiracy theories. There have been countless theories about the origin of the virus, the effectiveness of various medicines, the strategies of dealing with it, and just about every aspect of the war against COVID-19. What’s more, they all seem to come from reliable sources. As for me, I doubt that anyone knows the answer to any of the questions, including those who are certain that they do.

From my perspective, the virus isn’t even our biggest problem. Were it not for the virus, we would be suffering from something else and people would still be dying in droves. Worse yet, they would not even fight against their suffering or stop to think about its reason; they would simply accept it as an act of fate and miss out on the opportunity for change.

Luckily, the virus has stopped us in our tracks. It made us question our civilization.

Luckily, the virus has stopped us in our tracks. It made us question our civilization. Everything has been put to the test, from food supply to work, education, entertainment, religion and faith, governments and governance, and human relations. When we emerge from the coronavirus crisis, we must embrace only those elements of civilization that are truly necessary, and truly make our lives better.

Anything that does not improve our lives makes them worse, and must therefore be dumped. If we scrutinize ourselves sincerely and boldly, we will come out the other end of the scrutiny as a strong and confident humanity. If we avoid the chance to “clean up the mess,” a second, harsher wave of germs will strike and we will still be forced to comply.

Under our noses, the rules of the game have changed. Capitalism isn’t working anymore. It cannot work when every person is dependent on every other person in the global village. Ruthless competition and a dog-eat-dog economic policy do not work when one sick person shuts down the entire world. A different policy is required, which takes all of humanity into account, or the domino effect seen with COVID-19 will take the whole system crashing down.

Today’s rule of thumb should be unity. Every regulation, directive, law, and act must begin with questioning its contribution to global unity. If it does not, it is certain to do more harm than good and must be struck off from the agenda. Today my words may seem like fantasy, but tomorrow we will find that they are the only possible reality.

And what is true for all of humanity is true for all of nature. Just as we have been fighting against one another, we have been fighting against nature. We have tried to harness and exploit it for our purposes. We have trampled every living creature and every piece of land and water. We have left nothing clean or healthy. Is it any wonder that finally, nature is sending us diseases? It would probably be more sensible to ask why it had not done so before!

Yet, nature isn’t trying to destroy us. The coronavirus is not a threat to the existence of humankind. If anything, it will make us and our environment healthier and cleaner. We want nature to be kind to us, yet we mistreat and abuse it wherever and however we can. Can we expect it not to set us straight?

In order to avoid nature’s painful teachings, we must realize two things: 1) Everything is connected to everything else. Whatever each of us does impacts the entire system. 2) To mend our relations with nature, we must work on our own nature. We cannot be kind to all the trees and at the same time mean to all the people, but if we are kind to all the people, we will also be kind to all the trees, animals and all that exists.

The coronavirus will not let go of us, so we will not think that we can come out of it in any way besides mutual connection. This is where our easy and pleasant existence is found. These positive connections are the cure for COVID-19 and for any other virus. If we change our hearts toward each other, no virus will sicken our bodies.

Coming Out Of Quarantine, Part 1

627.2The Entire World on Sick Leave

Lifting the quarantine measures seems to lift a huge weight from a person’s mind, lets him breathe a little, and returns color to his life. He no longer feels like he is on the edge of a knife.

Shouldn’t we be happy about it? But on the other hand, having had time to pause and think, we understand that life before the coronavirus was not that carefree. So, is it worth going back to the previous race?

We do not realize that our development was wrong. As an egoistic society, we moved from one blow to another, from one crisis to the next. We will never reach happiness this way because we are only trying to dodge the blows, to escape problems that constantly overcome us.

Nobody enjoys such a life, as it is said: “Against your will you are born; against your will you live; and against your will you die.” We simply get used to the fact that this is life and we accept it as a given for lack of choice.

And here comes the coronavirus, and for the first time in history, we are beginning to feel that we are part of one humanity. This blow reaches everyone. It is like one human body that spreads over the entire earth: the head is in America, the body in England, one hand in Russia, the other in South America, and legs in Australia.

All of a sudden, this body in an instant receives a blow, then another, and another. It is not that first one place is struck and then another. No, the blow hits everybody at once. It is just that everybody feels it differently, just like every organ in our body perceives pain differently.

The coronavirus made us feel that we are all connected into one system. And this is a great discovery. All of a sudden, the whole world got shaken at once not because oil prices fell, a volcano erupted, or a tsunami hit land. The problem did not hit any particular sector. Rather, all systems ceased to work. And it is not their fault. It happened because of the human factor.

Man stopped working! It has never happened before at such a scale around the entire world. Man is sick and cannot work. This is a definite proof of the fact that it is time for us to think about human society as a single system where we are all connected, depend on each other, and must care for each other. There is no room left for competition or similar viruses will knock us out more and more.

That is why the coronavirus can be considered a redeemer of humanity. This is not a virus but a global revelation of the fact that human society is one integral community connected with ties in all directions.

Nobody can feel good if someone in the world feels bad: either we all feel bad or we all feel good. This insight comes thanks to the coronavirus. It follows that the virus is not a disaster but a remedy that will heal humanity a little, will correct its vision by bringing it closer to the truth.

“Has The New Coronavirus Infected Any Children?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: “Has the new coronavirus infected any children?“

As we start to reopen the economy, we see an anticipated intensification of the coronavirus unfolding—its infecting more and more children.

In the United States, United Kingdom and Spain, children are getting infected and dying.

As we continue the coronavirus era with the predicament of trying to get the economy moving again, we need to use our inventiveness and ingenuity to find new solutions to this new problem.

In other words, now, when our tight interdependence and interconnectedness is staring us in the face, we need to think about how we can realize such interdependence and interconnectedness positively.

More than ever, we are being shown how our health depends on the health of everyone around us, and so we’re necessitated to each take personal responsibility for the health of others. In other words, we have been placed into a situation where we depend on our mutual responsibility and consideration of each other in order to survive and live healthy lives.

With the increasing cases of children becoming infected, a new red alert sounds: Not only are we dependent on each other, now our children—who we thought were immune to this disease—are just as dependent.

Therefore, I hope we will move forward with more consideration and responsibility of each other, as we will be increasingly shown how living lives of indifference, estrangement and neglect of each other will only lead to more and more problems and suffering.

New Life 1223 – A Time For Soul Searching

New Life 1223 – A Time For Soul Searching
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi

Today, everyone is required to do some soul searching in light of the universal human blow we have received. Each one and all of us together have not adapted to the laws of nature and so now nature is responding by releasing paralyzing viruses like the coronavirus upon humanity. The terrible connections between people are opposite to the integrality that exists in the rest of nature. Nature wants all of us to feel like one person with one heart. We should ask ourselves every day, “Did I hurt anyone? Do I love humanity?” We must ask for the power of love and communicate with the upper force in nature, which will cause us to feel love in our hearts. If we take care of the world like a family, everything will be okay.

“How Will The Threat Of The Coronavirus Have A Major Impact On The Worldwide Economy As It Spreads Across The Globe?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: “How will the threat of the coronavirus have a major impact on the worldwide economy as it spreads across the globe?“

The economy needs a major impact because it has been failing to provide for our needs. Instead, we have been providing for the economy’s “needs.”

The coronavirus pandemic has illuminated the question about what is essential and nonessential in life.

In the face of crisis, life’s essentials—food, housing, healthcare and education—were extracted from the dark alleyway we had them in before the virus struck us, while we focused the spotlight on growth, production, consumption and trade surplus or deficit.

The coronavirus then came along and reminded us about what is essential in life.

During this period, we have a chance to revise the way our lives are headed, and in the process, upgrade our economy to make it suit our needs.

The irony of our era is that the modern work force works more hours than slaves did in the past.

Today, we think that we have more freedom and security than the slaves of the past, but the coronavirus highlighted that, in a moment, our entire infrastructure can overturn.

A period of social distancing and stay-at-home conditions put the housing and even food that many take for granted into question.

Today’s office jobs, which provided many with a sense of security, showed themselves to fall short when it came to providing many people with the safety net that they envisioned.

While we still try to recover from this blow that the coronavirus struck on the economy, we have some time to revise the idea of work in general.

As we head into a future where technology is expected to replace much of the work force, and we will discover that we need not work all the hours we currently work in order to provide for what we need in life, then we can expect that:

Governmental allowances, such as Universal Basic Income, will become the way most people will receive their income.

Job titles will lose their value as markers of social status.

In order for society to not stagnate and grow in an age where our job titles cease to mark our value in society, we will need to mark social status according to the contribution we make to society.

Such a change would be possible if we provide basic income in exchange for participating in programs that let people develop and express their contribution to society.

In other words, the economy we are headed toward, and which the coronavirus period has hinted at, is one where we will need our life’s essentials covered, and one where we will shift our focus to strengthen and grow human society—social happiness, health and well-being—instead of each of us trying to build our personal empires.

In such an economy, we will place much higher importance on cultivating positive human relations than we do today.

As more and more of today’s professions will show themselves to be unnecessary for the world we’re headed toward, we will need to replace all the effort we place into educating and training ourselves into such professions, with education and training of a different kind: one where we will train ourselves to relate positively to each other and contribute to others above our growing divisive drives.
