A World-Wide Mutual Guarantee

944Question: It is interesting that the law of mutual guarantee covers the whole world. Why is one nation not enough to achieve correction?

Answer: We are all part of the same system, and therefore, no one can escape from the law of mutual guarantee.

Question: Can I reach mutual guarantee in the ten or is it not enough?

Answer: Yes, you can reach mutual guarantee in the ten, but not an absolute one. Absolute mutual guarantee is achieved after all of humanity, being divided into tens, comes from tens, to hundreds, and so on, and turns into one single ten consisting of billions of individual tens.

Question: Do you see in the near future each country being divided into such tens?

Answer: How it will be, I do not know. I do not want to think ahead and let alone notify you about it. But I believe that the world is coming to this and will inevitably come to it.

Question: Baal HaSulam writes that everyone should contribute to creating a critical mass in order to achieve social harmony. So, a huge number of people must do it?

Answer: Yes. Everyone will agree. We are moving toward it. Nature will force us either by the path of suffering or by the path of light.

Whom To Thank For What?

237Question: Psychologists have developed a seven gratitudes technique that helps to cope with anxiety. The secret of the technique is very simple: You need to thank. Whom to thank? Yourself, your family, the world, the universe, God, one can choose. When to thank? Preferably in the morning and before sleep. What to thank for? For the fact that you have everything. How do you like this theory?

Answer: For an ordinary, normal person, it is very good.

Question: But a person does not have a feeling that he has everything. Can he say: “Thank You that I have everything”?

Answer: “Everything You gave me is enough for me and I thank You.” Of course, it is good for the ordinary person.

Question: Does this system work if you are grateful?

Answer: Try it on yourself. “When sinners sleep, good for them and good for the world.”

Question: It is called a dream when one says: “I have everything?”

Answer: Yes. And you fall asleep peacefully if it is in the evening. And if it’s during the day, you don’t rush anywhere. Anyway, everything I need will come to me. This is good. People should not rush somewhere, it is all from the evil one.

Question: Does that mean that you like this system of gratitude?

Answer: I like lazy people, although I am not like that myself.

Question: Why do you like lazy people?

Answer: They do little harm to the world.

Question: But really, don’t  you like rebels and revolutionaries.

Answer: Inside yourself. Inside yourself, do whatever you want. Make revolutions and wars, inside yourself. And everything else, let nature live in peace, do not muddy it.

See what nature, this virus, is doing to us. Calmly drive out of town, buy yourself a house instead of your apartment in the city and live in peace. Wife, kids, what else does a person need?

Comment: But nonetheless, all prayers are based on initial gratitude and then there is some kind of request.

My Response: To reach your highest, great purpose—to become equal to the Creator!

Comment: There is no peace in this. There is constant movement.

My Response: Internal peace! Because I am absolutely sure that in this way I will still reach the goal. I give myself to the Creator and in this I go with Him. And He can do whatever He wants. I remain in absolute peace.

Question: But isn’t movement toward Him a constant anxiety, trepidation?

Answer: This is not anxiety. There is not even much trepidation in this. If I am confident in Him, if I have faith that I am in His hands, then I am simply like a baby in the arms of his mother. Held and that’s all. Complete safety, peace.

But I check myself every time to be sure that I am in His arms with more vigor, I get closer to Him despite my ego. And I don’t need anything else. I am in this cocoon.

So, where to rush? Moreover, with other people to do some calculations: who is bigger, who is better, who is higher…

Question: And what about our ever growing egoism? You are constantly talking about it.

Answer: This is to give us an opportunity to be in dynamic closeness with the Creator all the time.

Question: That is, to return to the state again, in His hands?

Answer: Yes. And all is well.

When Did Morality Appear?

560Question: Morality is a special form of social consciousness or a type of social relations. It is not certain when moral laws became an essential part of human society, but they can be attributed to the time of the writing of the Tanakh. There is evidence of King Solomon’s writings that already contain some moral principles.

When do you think morality appeared?

Answer: It depends on what kind of morality. The morality that we rely on today appeared about 6,000 years ago. 3,500 years ago in ancient Babylon, it began to take shape in the form of laws.

All the pharaohs and rulers of the world who were coming to power wanted to pursue their own policies, their own views, and their own philosophy about the structure of government and society. All moral systems emerged from there.

Precious Sprout Of The Soul

565.01Reason does not obligate us to work in bestowal. We find that we are completely unprepared to ask for it, not ready for bestowal and unity. We still need to grow this desire in ourselves because initially we are just egoists and do not differ in this from animals.

If we want to discover the point in our heart, the godly part from above, the sprout of bestowal, we must put a lot of effort into this and help each other in the group. We cultivate the power of bestowal in us as if from a drop of seed embedded in us up to its full measure, which is called soul.

The Creator is not revealed as if He were somewhere far away and at last I went there and found Him. I must feel the Creator within me, feel this quality in me. At one point I want to receive for myself, and then I want to give—these qualities are revealed inside a person.

The Creator is “close” to me or “far away”—this means whether I want to be like Him or not, whether or not I want the quality of bestowal to rule over me.

And The Wheel Rolls Forward

232.05If several friends in the ten are in ascent and others feel the heaviness and descent, it is like a spinning wheel: one part rises and the other falls, but the wheel moves forward. And if we raise a common prayer, then one part of it will consist of gratitude and the other part a plea.

One cannot exist without the other, just like two sides of the same coin. Therefore, it is good that we feel this way–it is a sign that our ten is complete, perfect, and contains both sides.

Even when we reach the end of correction, our desire to receive does not disappear, it does not change. Only the intention above it is corrected. If the desire to receive disappeared, the intention to bestow would also disappear and the creation itself would disappear.

Therefore, nothing is lost, we just need to change our intention, reach more and more connection and preserve all our qualities. From the depth of the desire and the screen with reflecting light, from these two opposite forces, a perfect Kli will be built.

Work In The Heart

236.01The prayer is called work in the heart because the mind resists it and I have to go against it. That is, I ask the Creator for something that my whole nature resists; therefore each prayer requires special work in the heart because I want to go against my mind and reason, which prove the opposite to me.

However, I do not want to understand with my mind that it is worth working for the Creator. I want to work only with faith above reason.

It is interesting how it works because I feel that everything within me is resisting: I do not want connection, study, altruistic actions, dissemination, and connection with friends. I do not want to use any means that can bring me closer to the Creator.

This inner resistance becomes more and more explicit every day, but each time I have to act in exactly the opposite way. I see this reluctance within me and know exactly where it is in my egoism, but on the outside, I must do the exact opposite.

There is nothing that attracts me to this and obligates me, no one is forcing me, but I myself try to find the strength to do something for the sake of bestowal above my reason. This is how the transition from reason to above reason, above desire occurs. This is the transition from the corporeal world to the spiritual world. The entire spiritual world is built above reason, above my normal desire.

“How Can I Learn To Live In The Present? What Does It Mean To Live In The Present Moment?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: How can I learn to live in the present? What does it mean to live in the present moment?

Every moment, how we can be in a mutual relationship with nature, and how to communicate with it such that we understand how it influences us and how we should optimally respond.

Doing so will make our lives meaningful and complete.

We will enter into a constant relationship with our closest partner—nature—and start feeling how we merge with the outside world in the present moment.

Two Governances: Heaven And Earth

214There are two governances in the world: heavenly and earthly. One acts from the side of nature, advancing the program of evolution as planned: “in due time,” leading each one and everyone all together to a predetermined state. As a result, the two forces—good and evil—must join together, replenish each other, and fully reveal the Creator to us.

The upper force created good and evil and imprinted them in creation. And now they must unite in order to reveal the Creator within this unity. This is the plan of heavenly governance, and the world will certainly carry it out; there is no doubt about it.

Nature will brutally push us toward this correction. Extinct dinosaurs, erupting volcanoes, tsunami waves, wars, all these prove that nature advances the program of heaven without any mercy, regardless of the fact that it causes suffering to our egoism.

But the human, the most developed part of nature, has the opportunity to get acquainted with this process, with the program of creation and its purpose, and become an assistant to the Creator in its implementation. In this case, he will be called “human.”

If a person takes control and strives to become like the Creator, he accelerates the development and reduces suffering. But he is trying not for his own sake but only to support the program of creation and to prove to everyone the righteousness of the Creator, to justify Him in everything.
