Question: What can I gain from unity that I cannot achieve individually?

Answer: You will not be able to discover the Creator individually. There are many such “wise men” who were with us and have left  and who are joining us now who think like that, but they do not make it through. You have to nullify yourself because the Creator can be revealed only in the desire in which you nullify yourself.

Question: How can you convince yourself that your soul is in other people?

Answer: You will not be able to convince yourself if you don’t believe what Kabbalists say. You reach the wisdom of Kabbalah when you look for the answer about the meaning of life. You begin to read books about the structure of creation, about the structure of nature.

You realize how it all makes sense, how wise it is, and to what degree it is all at the basis of all human knowledge. You understand that this is the main knowledge of mankind, which is the origin of everything; after all, all of the sciences and religions were created from the teachings of Kabbalah, the study of the Creator.

Then if you want to, you can act, and if you don’t want to, then don’t. You were given an explanation. Nothing is concealed from you. You are not told: “Hit your head against the wall, pray until it works out.” Instead you are told about accurate laws: why they are the way they are, how they operate in our world and in the spiritual world, etc. Generally speaking it is a very realistic approach.

Comment: Our theory is indeed very practical and sensible, but when it comes to practically implementing it…

Answer: The practical implementation means that you simply have to make yourself a zero.

Question: How can you protect yourself from destructive thoughts of others? Does reading The Book of Zohar or other Kabbalistic books help?

Answer: It will help only if you connect to the Creator. There is no other method.

For example, there are thousands of people in the world that hate me. These are all those people who do not understand Kabbalah. Naturally, if I did not advertise Kabbalah, they would not exist, and maybe they would treat me positively.

I remember that before we began to spread the wisdom of Kabbalah, everybody loved and respected us. Once they realized what we are doing in the world, then everything started.

After all, we are working against the universal egoism, and people that hear us cannot agree and don’t want to be in this! It is as though we created this world for them, and now we are setting these tasks.

Question: How can this be explained? After all, the Creator is behind all of this. Why does the Creator need this?

Answer: They cannot have a problem with the Creator, they can have a problem with me. In general, I have a special honor as a small Kabbalist, after many great Kabbalists who, during the Middle Ages, the Inquisition, and the Persecution, received their portion from the same haters, but even worse.

Ramhal was on a run all over Europe from such hatred, he didn’t know where to hide. And in Russia, they reported the Kabbalists to the Tsarist government, and they were thrown into dungeons.

Question: But why does the Creator do this?

Answer: A Kabbalist needs haters. They help him by isolating him from the whole world, thereby allowing him to engage in his inner work. They turn the whole world against him. Thus, on one hand, to reach the world and tell them about Kabbalah, the Kabbalist has to try to make special efforts. On the other hand, he cannot get close to the world and make it more friendly and intimate for himself.

Question: Was there ever an evil eye cast upon you? Did you feel that someone is acting specifically against you?

Answer: The haters cannot do anything to me. There were numerous incidents. Just as hackers try to break into a computer system with a virus, it is the same with them. But this won’t work. First of all, they cause harm to themselves, which is not something I wish upon them. I don’t hold any grudges against them because this is the natural reaction of egoism.

Question: What is the method of protection?

Answer: The Creator. Who else do you need? He sends this, and He will protect!

Question: According to what measurement unit do we measure our mind power in the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: Our mind power is called Masach (screen). The measurement unit we use is the Aviut (thickness) of the Masach.

Question: Can I correct a certain state through the power of thought and thus impact a certain person?

Answer: Only if you have a Masach with Aviut; the Aviut of the desire is power.

Question: Can an egoistic power of thought be harmful? Is there such a thing as the evil eye?

Answer: It is possible to inflict the evil eye through our mind power, and it is possible to heal. However, the point is not such games. We should understand how we can create positive movement in the world through the tools we were given; the movement of the whole system is called the general soul.

Question: Why does each one of the first nine Sefirot have its own name, as for example: Keter, Hochma, Bina, etc.?

Answer: That is how the upper Light is revealed. Keter is the characteristic of absolute bestowal. Malchut is the characteristic of absolute reception.

The characteristic of Malchut is created from the characteristic of Keter. Since the characteristic of Keter wants to bestow and give everything, its characteristics of bestowal pass from above to below through all kinds of emanations until they give birth to a desire to receive, and therefore, Malchut wants to receive everything that Keter wants to bestow and give. Everything that Keter wants to give is expressed, revealed, and implemented in the eight Sefirot between Keter and Malchut.

The Sefirot of Hochma, Bina, Hesed, Gevura, Tifferet, Netzah, Hod, and Yesod are characteristics that connect the Keter with the Malchut.

Since they receive influence from the characteristic of Keter that descends by way of all these Sefirot, the characteristic of Malchut begins to feel its existence and the desire of Keter to bestow and give to it. As a result of this, a state called shame is discovered in Malchut.

Feeling the difference and gap between the one who bestows and the receiver is so great that Malchut stops receiving from Keter. This state is called a Tzimtzum (Restriction).

This is a state that is even discovered in people who have developed normally in our world.

Question: What does it mean to move forward? How can one understand where we are moving to?

Answer: You move toward the revelation of the Creator, toward the sensation of the eternal perfect world. You discover this for yourself and gradually begin to feel that the nature is actually eternal, infinite, and unlimited and so are you. You are eternal, perfect, unlimited, and exist in it in a totally different state than before.

Previously you were tired, didn’t know what to do, and were limited in everything. Now you are in an absolute tranquillity, you have strength, attainment, balance, and you are in the increasing adherence with the unified force of nature.

Better Together or Apart?

Question: Is the right connection built on the contradiction with the natural desire of a person to unite with his or her own kind and including people as different from others as possible?

Answer: It’s like playing the lottery, and here we need to rely on fate. Fate is in the hands of the upper force that arranged that we meet and have the opportunity to unite in a group.

It has long been known that unity gives great strength, but this is a special case. In this group, all are connected together in one system, all are directed to one goal, and each one nullifies himself for the benefit of the group, as if in a commando unit. This is a completely different method, compared to the usual connection adopted in our world.

In order to do this, we need to build a new educational system that teaches how to connect above separation. We need to know what we unite for and how, what the nature of each and every one is, and in what form we can connect. And most importantly, we reveal the power of mutual bestowal, not the power of egoistic connection to win over someone else.

The power we gain is not egoistic, but altruistic. This is a different approach, a different goal, and everything is different.

Question: Which is better: to be together or to be alone?

Answer: If this is a bad society of drug addicts or criminals, then it’s certainly better to be alone. If the society is good, then it is preferable to be in the society.

Question: Why does research speak about the benefits of loneliness?

Answer: Because we cannot provide a good society for a person, and then, of course, it is better to be alone. In the past, loneliness was beneficial for human development, but today it is caused by the fact that a person flees from society. Therefore, this kind of loneliness is negative.

As a child, I loved spending time alone, reading one book after another, bookshelf after bookshelf . But today’s loneliness among young people is different because nature demands a completely different kind of involvement from us.

My peers felt an inner need to play, walk, and do sports together. And a completely different thing is required from today’s generation: to connect together above their egoism, while preserving the individuality of each one.

Egoism pushes us away from connecting with each other, and people do not want to leave their house or to be connected with someone. And at the same time, nature presses on us and demands connection. As a result, a person feels split.

And here comes the method suggested by Kabbalah, which allows us to balance the two tendencies: the requirement of nature to unite and the separation we feel. They both come from nature.

Inside, a person remains himself and develops individually according to his inclinations: a musician, a writer, or a football player. But nature obliges us all to be within one sphere, one force that connects us, and we need to learn how to do this without encroaching on anyone’s individuality.
