Blitz Of Kabbalah Tips – 12/13/15

laitman_281_02Question: When the Machsom (Barrier) is crossed, what will happen to my soul after the physical body dies? Will it be reincarnated?

Answer: Certainly, the soul reincarnates until it moves through all 125 levels of development and reaches its source.

Question: If the wisdom of Kabbalah is not a religion, why does it talk about keeping the Mitzvot (Commandments)?

Answer: The 613 Mitzvot are 613 egoistic desires that exist in us that we must correct by making them altruistic. The correction of these desires is referred to as keeping the Mitzvot.

Question: Is it possible to see the upper force and compare it with other forces?

Answer: It is impossible to see the upper force, but you can feel it inside of you only when you carry out all of the conditions for spiritual ascent. You activate them, and you act according to their help.

Question: What do you mean by egoism?

Answer: Egoism is resistance to unity.

Question: Is it possible to use this world during spiritual work?

Answer: Absolutely, by working and living within this world and simultaneously ascending through the spiritual levels, we use it correctly.

Question: I have no way of being in a physical group or virtual group. Is it possible to advance as an individual?

Answer: No, you must at least find virtual partners for yourself.

Question: You have said many times that humanity still has not achieved maximal development of the ego and its ultimate spiritual fall. How much worse can the situation get?

Answer: Does all of humanity feel itself in a spiritual fall? Most people will tell you that nothing is happening and that everything is normal, but those people who are beginning to wake up and ascend spiritually must want this in order to ascend, and in this way, they will pull the entire world along with them.

Question: Can the limited quantity of people who are beginning to be awakened spiritually change anything in the world?

Answer: Yes, because, in the spiritual world, quality has a higher value than quantity. If the limited quantity of people become qualitatively unified, they will be able to influence the entire world.

Question: Why do I receive blows all of the time?

Answer: It is for you to rise above them. You get them, and thanks to this, you rise to a higher level of development.

Question: In order to get the power of bestowal, can I try to unite with trees, for example, instead of people?

Answer: No, it is impossible. You need to connect with those creatures who are on your level of your development—those who are like you, coarse people, egoists, those who are blocked and don’t really want to develop—and specifically by pushing and raising every one of you together, you will succeed in ascending to spirituality.

Question: How is it possible to know if I am ready to study the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: It is only according to your desire. If you continue to yearn for a goal, even though all kinds of problems sprout up at the time, you approach the wisdom of Kabbalah; these problems have been given to you intentionally as guidance from above, and nothing will stop you. This means that you truly are ready to be involved with the wisdom of Kabbalah.

New Life #635 – The Good, The Bad And The Person

New Life #635 – The Good, The Bad, And The Person
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Summary

Even though studies show that good deeds cause a good feeling, people are not attracted to this. In the street we don’t encounter people who will come and be good to us; on the contrary, we are constantly on guard.

Good deeds don’t spread virally, they don’t infect other people; there is an internal brake in us. The evil inclination is human nature, and it is worthwhile to realize this. It doesn’t let us relate to others with goodness.

We are developing in a worse and worse direction; relationships are deteriorating; even the family unit is breaking down. There was a time when a person was connected to a village, a homeland, a people. Today this contact is being lost all over the world.

Doing good for others requires many forces that a person doesn’t have; he must always benefit somehow. In Russia they tried to obligate people to be good by force; we have seen the grave results of this. In the Scandinavian nations, there is social security, but this is only because everyone knows that nobody will care about them.

It is up to us to reach an awareness of this, that from year to year we are becoming distant from each other. A person loses connection with his relatives. In charitable organizations, people are working who have a natural inclination for it. They comprise about 10 percent of the population.

The nature of a person doesn’t allow him to benefit others, so we are deteriorating into a situation where we are devouring each other. There is a force in nature that can stop the deterioration. If we locate it, we can counterbalance the evil in us. If we don’t locate this good force, the evil in us will increase and distance us from each other completely. The positive force is latent in the interior of nature and will counterbalance the evil in us. It is necessary to learn how to locate it.

New Life 686 – The Freedom Of Self-Criticism

New Life 686 – The Freedom Of Self-Criticism
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Tal Mandelbaum ben Moshe

Until today criticism has helped us develop, but nowadays there is no proper criticism. Everyone just “dumps out” bad things about others. Self-criticism, the ability to judge, requires looking at things from the side without prejudice.

Today nobody can get along with anyone; there is nobody who is able to provide useful criticism. Humanity doesn’t understand what is happening; it is advancing towards self-destruction and even the family unit is collapsing.

The self-critical system of a person who is a Kabbalist is constructed according to the higher value, “And you shall love your friend as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18). With the help of the method of the wisdom of Kabbalah, a person attracts the Light that Reforms, the positive force, against the evil inclination, and this is through self-criticism if he attracts enough of this positive force upon himself to provide him with the right perspective.

The only concern of a person must be how to attract the positive power that is concealed in nature unto himself to counterbalance the evil that is in him. Until then, a person’s self-criticism will not be beneficial in any way.
