My Comment: All marriages are calculated – from both sides. After all, the people getting married are egoists, not angels. A woman assesses a man for his reliability in raising her offspring, and a man assesses a woman based on love – not for her, but for his hormones. This is how both are programmed by nature.

The crisis did not add anything new to this process. It’s only that men now have other problems besides their hormones, and women don’t know how to assess a suitable husband in a world where the future is uncertain.

But, as the Theory of Evolutionary Adaptation explains this unique interaction between the sexes, men and women are genetically predisposed to mutually exploit one another in order to ensure the optimal conditions for producing offspring. But we have now reached such a breach of nature’s laws that it’s become impossible to select a partner and cooperate with him or her. This is a true CRISIS!

In the News (from BBC News): “An atheist advertising campaign has been launched on buses across Britain” The campaign backers were exasperated at the excessive religious advertisement. The promotion carries the slogan “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.”

My Comment: There was a time when religion lulled the people, giving them psychological fulfillment, security, and hope. But for many centuries now, religion has exploited people instead of protecting them. The bureaucratic apparatus that it has created exceeds even that of the state.

The desire to rule over the minds of the congregation defines today’s religion, which is a political force. It does not matter whether there’s a God or not. Being free from the pressure of the psychological religious brainwashing is already a path to inner peace.

Kabbalah says that there is no world to come (or a world “beyond the grave,” waiting for us after our bodies die). There is only what we reveal in this world. If you attained or revealed more than the five bodily senses, then you will keep this perception even after your body dies along with its five senses. This perception will remain with you forever because bestowal and love are above egoism, and they raise a person above time, space, and change (motion).

The stages of one’s attainment of the universe are:

• Olam HaZeh – “This world,” which is perceived inside egoism, also called the level of Malchut;

• Olam HaBah – “The world to come,” in Kabbalah known as the level of Abba ve Ima of the World of Atzilut.” A Kabbalist ascends to this level during his life. And if a person doesn’t attain this level, then he has to be born again.

• L’Atid Lavo – “Coming in the future,” the level of “Arich Anpin of the World of Atzilut.” It also has to be attained during this life.

• Gmar Tikkun – “The End of Correction” (of egoism). It is when a person attains “the World of Infinity,” where everything is infinitely corrected.

My Comment: The power of thought (“the Thought of Creation”) lies at the root of all creation. All of creation developed from this thought, including all the particular forces that descended and coarsened, until they became the physical forces of our world. The coarsest of these forces formed a material shell around them.

However, within all of matter, there is a spiritual force which governs it, driving all of matter toward similarity to the Creator, to the quality of bestowal and love.

Questions I received on how to correct our egoistic nature:

Question: What do I have to do to persuade the Upper Light to correct me?

My Answer: You have to reach the point where you discover that by hating someone else, you hate yourself, and you harm yourself just by thinking badly of someone, with your negative attitude to others! In addition, you won’t just desire for bad things not to happen to others because they will negatively affect you, but more than that, you’ll begin to discover that your bad, egoistic thoughts about others immediately return to you.

And then you’ll discover that another person and you is the same thing, and you cannot think of others badly as this would be equivalent to thinking badly about yourself. But at the same time, you cannot stop thinking badly of them.
That is when you’ll come to the necessity for the Upper Light, which will correct you.

Question: I hate successful people, and I feel good when others feel bad. I hate the entire world and the entire humanity. What should I do?

My Answer: Actually, you cannot be any different. Everyone feels this way, but most people just haven’t discovered the evil inside them. It is written, “I created egoism and I created Kabbalah for its correction, because the Light of Kabbalah corrects a person (returns him to the Creator).” So, keep on advancing!

Question: What’s the best way to deal with the hatred, envy and jealously that I feel toward others in the group?

My Answer: You will never be able to overcome them. Only the Upper Light, which affects you during the study of Kabbalah, will correct you.

Three questions I received on one’s inner work:

Question: Everyone is in different situations and going through different states. I want to know: what is the essence of our connection? How can we be together? How can we tell what our role in the general system is, and how can we fulfill that role? At every given moment, how do we act in a way that will allow us to maintain the connection?

My Answer: It is precisely in order to create this connection that we study, gather together, and disseminate Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the science about the correct way for us to interconnect, and the Creator becomes revealed within this connection.

Question: What is the source and the purpose of feeling loneliness? Why do I feel lonely, though surrounded by many people (friends, family, colleagues, etc.)?

My Answer: It’s in order for you to develop a desire for a true connection with others and with the Creator – a connection that will be filled with Light, rather than an empty connection.

Question: Why do you say we can only discover things internally? Isn’t that egoistic? And what about the friends? They’re external to someone who is not across the Machsom.

My Answer: You cannot impose correction on anyone, and you also can’t do it for anyone. You can only tell others about the world, its purpose, and how to achieve it.

My Comment: Why don’t the citizens question the demonstrators’ right to act this way? Something isn’t right in the United Kingdom!

The Book of Zohar says that at the end of days (at the end of the world’s correction), the sons of Ishmael (Abraham’s son from whom the Arabs originated) will try to take over the world (economically – through oil, and physically – by force) in order to assert their religion, Islam, in the whole world. And they won’t spare even their own lives to achieve this goal because they believe that they will go to heaven for it. It is written, “His hand is on everything in the world, but everyone’s hands are also on him.”

In the News (translated from Infox): The crisis is forcing the British to cross the line of the law. Crime has risen significantly in the country. People who are in despair are more likely to engage in robbery or theft.

My Comment: It’s like those scary Hollywood movies about the future where lonely, hungry thieves roam the streets of deserted cities… until the suffering will force people to change and the world will be revived.

I received many letters describing people’s impressions of the Congress, and I feel that they have to be shared with everyone:

…To be honest, based on my past experiences I expected to feel down after the Congress, but this time, something different happened. As I was driving to work the next morning, I suddenly understood that the world has changed after the Congress! This wasn’t just a feeling, but an epiphany. Suddenly, I clearly saw what the world will be like and how it will work – inversely, for bestowal rather than reception.

For a long time now I’ve been plagued by the question of how it will all work, because all the industries and society in general are based on reception. But all of a sudden I saw it clearly: I saw the smiles on people’s faces, I saw their drive to make each other feel good. All the people around me behaved just as we did at our Congress: their faces were glowing, the television and radio were broadcasting only good news, and the quality of bestowal was advertised in full swing. Everything around me was effusing Light and was enveloped in a cloud of joy. It feels as though the Congress has changed this world. Everything around us has changed, and all of us have changed as well.

…It wasn’t just a bunch of adults coming together to watch lessons and shake a leg, but there were families, wholesome social units, and every family member supported the others, infinitely multiplying all the goodness. There were three, even four-generation families in attendance. There were even babies, just a few weeks old.

So many different activities were organized for the children: a circus, games, songs, dancing, rooms for rest and nap-time, and separate playrooms for every age. The kids were constantly cared for and protected. For example, during the general songs and dancing, the kids were kept in a safe area where the kids also had space to dance together with their teachers. The older kids sat the younger kids on their shoulders. Everywhere you looked there were men and women on duty, making sure the kids didn’t get lost, burned or hurt in other ways.

…The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it. Between the meals there were many stands everywhere with hot beverages, lemon, and sweets, and all this was available around the clock. Every activity was concluded with songs and dancing that were so energetic, you couldn’t sit still even if you wanted to. There was so much energy and love from early morning till late night that it was impossible to feel tired.

Before and after the Congress people went on excursions to Kabbalistic sites, where people saw sights that take your breath away, enjoyed the beautiful weather and fresh air, and the company of thousands of people dear to them (there were dozens of buses).

My Comment: My wish to everyone is for the world to now start developing by means of the Light and joy instead of suffering!
