To Whom Can One Open One’s Heart?

629.4Comment: Margaret Thatcher says: “To wear your heart on your sleeve isn’t a very good plan; you should wear it inside, where it functions best.”

My Response: In human society, of course, this is true. But in general, you cannot open your heart, only in a suitable circle, if I am among friends, that is, among those who are going toward the same goal. Then we open the heart, and a common heart is formed. Then, there are already completely different laws.

How To Release Accumulated Anger?

633.3Question: You tweeted: “Do not replace hatred with love, you will destroy love. It is recommended to keep all bad things and learn to cover them with good, with love. To cover means to maintain conformity, to be between them. Then you will stand on two legs and grow both of these qualities in the middle line.”

A reader asks: “It is so hard, but you have to accept it, there is no other way. The only thing that matters for me is where to cast out the accumulated evil?”

Answer: It should not be cast out. Accumulated evil must be covered with good. That is why it exists: so that the good grows all the time. The good cannot grow without reason. Only if evil grows will we raise the good above it by our efforts.

Question: How can someone come to terms with evil?

Answer: We should not come to terms with it! We should look at the world in a reasonable way. It is not easy, it is very hard, but we will otherwise not come to the correct view of the world.

The world consists of two forces: positive and negative. Therefore, we need to interact in the right way: love and hate, good and evil, minus and plus. We must find a balance between them.

Question: And what will enable this transition? It is like a balloon that inflates, inflates, and anger accumulates, accumulates. How will the transition from the state of anger and hatred to the state of love take place?

Answer: When we realize that we cannot destroy anger, hatred, and all our negative properties and impulses, but we can only balance them with positive properties so that they coexist.

Question: A reader asks about a multi-step algorithm. Suppose she is filled with anger or hatred. What should she do step-by-step in order to reach the next state?

Answer: In general, this should be done in the group, in an environment that supports this method, under the guidance of a more experienced person who can really direct you how to do it.

But the main thing is that we do not destroy negative properties. We understand that they should exist in nature as well as positive ones, and only in their proper interaction with each other can we create a convenient, necessary, comfortable and, most importantly, reliable world that will not keep falling from hatred to good and from good to hatred, without knowing what awaits us  the next moment.

Question: So we need to face this state of hatred and anger?

Answer: Face it in the right way, appreciate it correctly, understand that no one is to blame, that it is our nature that develops us in this way, and we must balance it with good forces. And in order to find these good forces in nature, we must make efforts.

For this, we need a support group that will set us an example and support us. And when everyone supports his friend, we will be able to clearly and faithfully set ourselves up for the correct interaction, the correct balance between love and hatred.

Yearning For Greater Balance

232.09Question: What should we do in order to precede the right choice of our path by thinking, expecting, and predicting it?

Answer: It is very simple.

On the whole, we need to reach a world in which a wolf dwells with a lamb in peace, and a little child leads them, and so on. The prophecy in the Bible is true.

The goal of our development is to attain a state in which all the parts of creation find their place, the right mutual cooperation with all the other parts, and thus the whole world reaches a state of balance. This is the real state of the world, which is good and right and most stable, that we will need to attain.

In order to yearn for this state, we need to yearn for unity between us. Thus we will impact all the lowest states of the world, by our yearning for unity. We simply need to act correctly. To act correctly means to constantly aim at greater mutual cooperation between as many parts of the system as possible, in order to reach its balance.

Question: How is the major force that operates in this whole process expressed?

Answer: The major force that operates is the general force that manages the whole universe, all of creation, and which sustains it in a balanced state. It is the good force that overcomes the evil force, but by mutual cooperation with us, so that the good force sustains the whole system in a state of balance.

Question: How can we reach the level of this force of providence?

Answer: It is only by our efforts to be together, to be connected in good relations.

Question: Scientists say that philosophers think in terms of the interaction of time and system dynamics. They understand the whole system and how everything is divided in time, and they understand that it is still necessary to add interaction. This is similar to acrobats in a circus who stand on each other’s shoulders in order to attain a certain formation and reach the top. Do we need the same cooperation there is between acrobats, who feel each other, support each other, and thus keep their balance?

Answer: Acrobats pay constant attention to any diversion from balance and behave like a surveillance system in order to keep their balance. Here, however, it is on a higher level. I don’t need to work in a surveillance system and to constantly get rid of the disturbances in order to keep balance. Instead, I need to constantly yearn for greater balance. Only then will I be totally sure that my pyramid will not collapse.

Question: What is the greatest balance?

Answer: An even greater balance is an increase in the level of balance, an increase in its strength. Here, more and more data must be taken into account in order to include it in the equilibrium formula and to balance again and again.
In order for both negative and positive forces to manifest themselves even more, they were divided even more into many parts, and all of them together determined the conditions that the formula should integrate and balance.

Question: What data is there in this formula other than the positive force and the negative force?

Answer: No other data. There is only the balance between them. Everything is very simple.

How To Find True Love

627.1Comment: Anna writes to you: “Is there no love in this world? If it is not there, what do you say, what does this world hold on to? I am 22 years old, I want to meet someone to love. I want not just connections, not just families and children, but that everything will be imbued with love. It’s possible, isn’t it? How do you come to this? ”

My Response: I don’t think this is possible.

This is only if she begins to engage in raising herself to the next stage of development where she will feel the meaning of life in rising to the level of the meaning of life, that is, above this life, from where this life comes. I wish it for her.

I understand that this sounds very rude, but at this level we will not find any justification for our dreams, impulses by ourselves. None. We need to retrain young people, but they themselves retrain from life. They are much smarter today.

Question: What should they learn, what should they come to?

Answer: That there is no love in the sense they dream about.

This is their reflection of the highest love, which pulls a person to the meaning of life. There is a completely different feeling, attraction, connection, and fulfillment. One has to reach there, it is eternal, perfect.

Comment: So many novels, TV series, and other things inject a person with this infusion of this love.

My Response: It only confuses people! All motives of a person should be in the spiritual direction, and there he will find the answer to everything.

And from a biological point of view, you have to find a suitable match for yourself, start a family, take care of them and continue your family. As was the case in all traditional families until the 20th century, or, say, until the 18th century.

Either the parents looked for the husband and wife to be similar to each other, or they found a pairing in the immediate environment, from the same village, from the same district, from the same circles. And there were strong families because they were looking for someone similar to them.

Question: What advice would you give this girl Anna?

Answer: I wish her to look for a husband who would suit her not for love, but for aspiration, tastes, in the likeness of his parents. She needs to get to know his mother and see if she is like her. That is, does this Anna look like the boy’s mother? And if she looks similar, then this is already a guarantee of a strong family. A man should see his wife as part of his mother.

Question: Is she in it?

Answer: It doesn’t matter what she sees in him. The main thing is that when he sees in her a part of his mother, he will already treat her with caution, with love, with fear, like a child with a mother.

Question: And then can it even be called love?

Answer: Of course. What is love if not attachments and habits? As my teacher used to say: “Love is a beast that needs to be fed a lot with concessions. And when it grows up, then it can be called love.”

How Do We Achieve Perfection?

546.02Comment: Scientists are sounding an alarm: an epidemic of perfectionism is spreading all over the world. According to psychologists, perfectionism is a belief that an ideal can be achieved. In pathological form, it is a belief that imperfection has no right to exist.

My Response: Then what remains?

Comment: What remains is to get rid of anything that is redundant and to straighten anything that may be deformed. Different studies have led to the conclusion that all this leads to stress, depression, anxiety, and suicide.

My Response: This means that high demands that cannot be attained actually kill us.

Question: What is this ideal in Kabbalah? What should we aspire for and never concede, never give up?

Answer: The attribute of love and bestowal by which we become like the Creator is ideal.

It can be achieved by a gradual, step-by-step method. But we cannot implement it with our existing senses and attributes inherent in us in our world. We need to acquire additional attributes, additional senses, and then we will be able to implement this idea in us.

The ideal is when we collect all the forces, all of nature’s attributes, together in the most explicit manner, connect them to the one single ideal system, and they complement each other to such an extent that there is nothing redundant that we need to get rid of, and there is nothing missing in it either.

This means that all the elements of nature enter this system, complement each other, and make a system that is one absolute round sphere, absolutely ideal.

Kabbalah actually teaches us how we can connect opposite attributes into what is called the middle line, and then everything begins to work perfectly.

Question: And what is imperfection? Imperfection in man and in society?

Answer: There are many different levels and sublevels of imperfection. The main imperfection is when a person considers himself whole.

Question: Does imperfection have a place in society?

Answer: Imperfection has a place in society. It is thanks to the feeling of imperfection that society can constantly improve itself. We cannot live without it. This is actually what makes humans different from animals—the fact that they constantly feel their imperfection, which forces them to develop all the time.

Question: Perfectionists want to cut it all off and smooth it out?

Answer: There is no need to cut off or throw away anything because nothing in this world was created without a reason.

Everything stems from the ideal picture of the world, which fell apart on purpose, and we must collect the pieces and put them together again like a jigsaw puzzle. So there is not a single redundant piece or particle.

Question: What is a spiritual perfectionist?

Answer: I don’t think that a spiritual perfectionist is a perfectionist. He is simply a person who truly aspires to put all the pieces of creation into one perfect picture. This state is called Adam, that is, a system that totally resembles the Creator.

Advice For The Lonely

961.2Comment: A major trend in the world today is loneliness. A minister for loneliness has already been appointed in England and now a minister for loneliness has been appointed in Japan.

Irina writes to us: “What a terrible loneliness! How I came to this, I don’t understand. I was always friendly, open, and suddenly—alone! Empty home, empty heart, the phone is silent. And I do not want to call anyone. So lonely that I have no strength! And so much loneliness around me! How can we live alone?”

My Response: You cannot. Were you to create a club for the lonely, they would not go there anyway.

Question: I wonder why? It is true, she and everyone else sit at home for some reason. You must seek them out, ministries must be built for them. It is a problem!

Answer: The fact is that no ministers will help here, no decisions from above, from governments, will help. These are just pretenses to show that we care for the lonely. It will not help in any way.

People realize that they cannot find the meaning of life in marriage. They cannot find the meaning of life in work, and naturally, not in friendship. Not in anything. So what is the point? Why should I get out of bed in the morning? There is no reason, no stimulus for moving, thinking, talking, or doing anything at all. The world freezes as a result.

And what is the point? Only if we discover the meaning of life, which is above this state. Only if we somehow manage to tell others about it, to show it, to shake people up and awaken them. Otherwise, frankly, it will all end with someone selling pills that will put you to sleep forever.

And people will buy them. No doubt! They will gladly take a pill with a sip of water, lie down, and that’s it. What happens afterward doesn’t matter.

Comment: This does not sound very logical. If a man feels bad, he would logically start looking.

My Response: And what can he do if he does not see any way out? Why live?

Question: And connecting with others, at least some kind of connection?!

Answer: They gather in some clubs, but that ends too.

Question: This is not the solution?

Answer: Of course not.

Question: That is, until a person penetrates into the meaning of life.  Is this happening now and that is why we see this trend?

Answer: Yes. A person has to break through a barrier that manifests itself in complete apathy toward everything. Only then can he discover a whole new life. That is, in a way, it is death. Passing through this barrier, we discover that there is another life, a different kind, and now I can start living it.

A person must realize, agree with, and want to give up this life—this constant egoistic pursuit of something. Once he agrees with this in some form, then he is ready for the next life.

Question: What is your advice to a lonely person who feels all alone to the point of a dire need in his soul?

Answer: My advice: go to our website and read. There is nothing else that I could recommend. From the bottom of my heart, I would prefer not to say this, but I cannot offer anything else.

Conquer Yourself

571.06“Conquer yourself and you will win thousands of battles.” (Buddha)

Question: What do you mean by “conquer yourself”?

Answer: By conquering yourself I mean that I do not follow my egoistic aspirations and impulses, but still try to arrange them in accordance to the purpose of creation. And naturally, by doing so, I win thousands of battles against my ego, which constantly pulls me in different directions and makes me fail.

Question: So one way or another, the ego plunges me in war the whole time? Is this how it works?

Answer: Yes. And you should be lying on the couch motionless and only contemplate how you enter the deeper layers of the universe. By that, you will accomplish everything.

Question: Enter the deeper layers of the universe, what does it mean?

Answer: Finding the goal of creation and aligning yourself with it in all your qualities.

Question: So this egoism of mine, understanding that I am an egoist, that my nature is egoism, what am I to do about it? Do I try to build something above it?

Answer: Above it, of course. You do not want to follow it, but be above it, above the egoistic nature. When I do not try to meddle in my thoughts, desires, motives, and selfish aspirations, but rather be inclined to see whether this would be good for the whole world.

Question: That is, for others and not for myself?

Answer: Yes.

Passover—The World’s Celebration Of Freedom

229Question: Passover celebration. It tells how the Jewish people came out of Egyptian slavery. In fact, for Kabbalists, it sounds different. We have our egoism—our nature, and here we talk about how we get out of this egoism.

Now I have the feeling that this is not a Jewish holiday but a world holiday, especially considering the events that have happened in the world.

What does Passover mean for the world? How do you feel about it?

Answer: The world feels bad. But It does not know the reason for it. It also does not know the cure for the fact that it feels bad. Like a child, it feels bad and that is all. There is no recognition of evil, that is, the cause of the suffering.

The reason for suffering is in the big, sudden increase in egoism, which sometimes freezes a little and then, suddenly grows with a jerk.

Question: So can you say that the world now feels like it is inside the Egyptian slavery, under the slavery of egoism?

Answer: It just depends on how people feel. They just feel bad.

Question: So, has the Passover celebration reached humanity yet?

Answer: I do not think it is quite right to call it a celebration. The world does not feel that its egoism is the cause of all its suffering.

This is necessary! If we begin to look closely at our egoistic nature, at how we treat each other, then we can conclude that our whole world is evil because we are so egoistic, because we wish evil to each other, we are in opposition, in contradiction, in conflict, with each other: internal, external, and so on. We are in the slavery of this egoistic force that guides us, twists us, and pushes us.

To realize the evil of our nature is the most important thing. Because after that, we can already come to an understanding of how to get rid of it.

Question: If we assume that a person begins to feel this, what are his thoughts? How does he get rid of this? Except for the inner cry: “I want to get rid of it! I do not want to be egoist!” What else does he need?

Answer: Nothing! Just demand that nature change us. Nothing else. We do not have to make any extra effort, because there is really nothing we can do. If we are inside egoism, then any of our attempts and actions will still be egoistic, and by this we will only deceive ourselves.

What we can do is get together, discuss our condition, come to the conclusion that it is simply terrible, and there is no way for us to get rid of it ourselves unless we can convince our nature to leave us alone, that we do not want to be dominated by egoism. Take away from us this alien will, this upper force, so that it does not command each of us and does not collide us with each other!

Question: Then, will the person have the feeling that he is under the rule of the Pharaoh?

Answer: Yes. In the slavery of the evil force of nature. Then he will begin to understand this story correctly. He will begin to treat it correctly, that in fact, this evil nature is created specifically, by a positive force, the Creator. Then we turn to Him personally, so that He removes this evil nature from us.

If we convince the Creator to remove this evil egoistic force from us that pushes us against each other and does not give us peace, then it will become a truly global celebration in which everyone is interconnected, in which everyone begins to treat each other correctly, with love, with awareness, with the understanding that we are one single system.

Question: What is called “the exit of the people from slavery”? The people—is it the whole world?

Answer: Absolutely the whole world.

Question: Who is the leader that leads them? The Torah says Moshe, Moses—what is it?

Answer: This is from the word “Moshech”—pulling out. It is a force that pulls people out of their egoism. This power comes from above. The power of awareness of the evil we were in, and the power of good, which we can be in.

Question: Do you think that humanity should reach out to this force?

Answer: Everyone should feel that they are shouting, that they want it. Nothing more is needed. There is no need to follow any people, leaders, deliverers, moshiach(s), and so on. Nothing needed.

Question: What is freedom then? After all, this is a celebration of freedom.

Answer: Freedom from egoism, freedom from the fact that you are always under the influence of evil, and it is your inner evil that pushes you to be evil to others. This is all a celebration of liberation. This is the spring festival.

Only egoism is the cause of our suffering. There is nothing else. There are only two forces in the world: positive and negative.

Question: Why don’t we just hit this point?

Answer: We do not want to, we put our hands and feet up, just to avoid getting close to it, because we are all egoists. Only in egoism do I feel myself and the whole world. I cannot imagine how to feel the world outside of this quality.

Question: In principle, does the wisdom of Kabbalah speak only about this—how to feel who you are, your nature, and how to get out of it?

Answer: Yes.

Question: How to get people to start doing it?

Answer: If we do not want to, we will be forced to. But it is going to be all fine.

People Will Be Replaced With Machines

547.05Comment: In Yuval Noah Harari’s book 21 Lessons for the 21st century, he writes that today a computer could cope with the work of a driver, a banker, and a lawyer.

My Response: Absolutely with all problems, because we ourselves are also a computer. If we take away the sensory part, then our mechanical computer will cope with everything else,

Comment: The author writes that in the near future, artificial intelligence will replace humans in medicine, managing transportation, and even will be able to recognize all our emotions and influence them.

My Response: This is already happening today. I don’t even know if it makes sense now to study for ten years to become a doctor because during this time the machine will replace you completely.

Comment: This means that doctors and laboratory technicians will only be engaged in innovative research to create new artificial intelligences and the entire class of maintenance (service) that cannot be retrained will simply disappear.

My Response: It will be disposed of. It will not just disappear as an unemployed class. They will try to make sure it is gone.

Comment: It turns out if before, the future of the person was tied to a profession, today people are in complete confusion since all current professions will cease to exist.

My Response: Yes, the majority of professions will disappear very quickly. People will be replaced with machines. Factories will be created for the production of biomass from which everything you want will be produced. If you want a steak, steak will be made for you now, the machine will print it. And so on. The only thing that will remain is the work of attaining the upper force.

How To Save Children From Suicide

919Question: A writer asks, “Please tell us about suicide among children. How can I explain to a child that it is wrong and that one shouldn’t have such thoughts? At a neighboring school, a girl jumped from a high-rise building. There are two versions of why this occurred: the first is unrequited love, the second is the influence of the Internet, and that she was driven to it. How should we talk to teenagers? How can we prevent this from happening? Or is it the fate of a person?”

Answer: We must understand that a teenager is a small person who must attain the world gradually. Just like when we are born. At first, we are completely inside the mother. Then we “stick our head out.” We begin to comprehend a little, inside our crib, our room, in the apartment, and so on.

Today a child before he even begins to walk and can only reach for something by crawling around a small area is exposed to a huge world around him. He is put in the car and driven around, pushed about in a stroller, parents turn on TV, music, and video, whatever. All sorts of complicated toys are pushed on him.

That is, the boundaries of the world are being opened for him while he’s not ready for it and does not want it! Nature hasn’t prepared him for it yet. So he’s confused and doesn’t know what to do. Therefore, he is under pressure from these new concepts around him that he is not ready for. And that’s the problem.

Thus, many kids can’t handle it. They don’t have enough inner strength. All these external stimuli affect them in such a way that children simply lose control. And when they are nonetheless exposed to some negative movies or something else, they perceive them as real and very easily contemplate suicide.

We should prohibit and restrict them! For the first two years I would not expose a child to outside stimuli. Only the natural things that he can see and hear around him, this is what he should be exposed to. The sounds and images around him, all that is there, let him see it all. But no screens. No computer or TV.

Question: So, are you a big proponent of the careful, gradual exposure of children to this life?

Answer: I want a child to develop a normal psyche to the size of the world in which he exists. Whatever he can reach, this is what he should be comfortable with.

The rest is for later. By then, all sorts of mechanisms are already in place. You can already explain things to him, talk to him, give him certain literature, and show him things. Yet even then, I would start with history, geography, some earthly things. Rather than these terrible children’s programs which are built completely on fiction, and on a terrible, distorted one at that. They show violence and anger. It is just unbelievable!

Children’s programs are the most violent ones. The child looks at that and thinks that this is the reality of our world. So why not jump from the tenth floor? He sees these leaps on TV every day in children’s programs.

That is, we have no idea what a distorted picture of reality we bring into his world. So what do you expect? We need to remove all of it. Completely!

Question: Are you in favor of such tough measures?

Answer: I am for raising a healthy generation.
