Question: How does the knowledge gained from our study affect the measure of faith?

Answer: To the extent that you practice following the recommendations of Kabbalists, you begin to perceive your egoistic qualities and realize that they constantly push you to be critical of the world, the Creator, and your friends, and to fully justify yourself. That is the result of ordinary study.

On the other hand, when a person sees how ugly he is in his egoism, he begins to be critical of himself and asks the Creator to correct him. The path of correction starts from here.

Question: How does faith above reason differ from faith in reward in this case?

Answer: The faith in reward is an egoistic belief when I strive to be rewarded for the efforts I put in. And faith above reason is the desire to rise above egoism and unite with the Creator precisely in mutual bestowal.

Question: How can we strengthen the measure of faith and not fall into despair from the realization of our remoteness from the Creator?

Answer: If you unite with your friends and work together for the success of your collective ascent, for the connection between you and the Creator, then you will succeed. The Creator shows us what small and powerless egoists we are precisely so that we choose the right path.

Question: How is the work of cleansing different from the work of correction called holiness? Why do we have to strengthen our wickedness to acquire the property of holiness?

Answer: There is no need to strengthen anything; you just need to strive for positive actions, positive feelings. And then you will feel what is happening to you.

The quality of purification depends on your desire to connect with your friends. The desire to unite with them leads you to cleanse yourself from egoism.

Question: What is collective Malchut?

Answer: The collective Malchut is where we are born and begin to develop. That is our common desire, our spiritual mother. The approximation to it starts with our connection.

Question: What is the difference between the collective Malchut and the feeling of our connection in the ten?

Answer: By feeling the collective Malchut, we begin to feel the whole creation, in what state it is and what it should be to get closer to the Creator.

Question: How do you act in the ten to direct yourself to the collective Malchut?

Answer: Get closer to your friends—nothing else. And as you get closer to them, you will receive from them more and more of different awakenings.

Question: What is happening now in Israel and in the world is all from the Creator. The feeling is that only the ten, the importance of the goal, and Kabbalah can help us save ourselves.

In the ten, we compose a prayer to the Creator to free our hostages so that the soldiers return home alive, so that peace would come.

What request can we raise to the Creator from our connection to somehow influence Him and the world?

Answer: We can only act in the direction of unity among all the members of Bnei Baruch throughout the world so that we all unite as much as possible and ask the Creator to reveal Himself within our connection.

Let each of you request in your heart that you want to get closer to each other, incorporate together in one desire, and turn with it to the Creator so that He unites you and connects everyone within Himself. Ask for it to happen here and now.

Question: Can actions of bestowal feel like sweetness? Or is bitterness an indicator of bestowal in our work?

Answer: In our work, the indicator of bestowal is our desire to connect and reveal the Creator in this connection. We want to present our connection to Him as a dish, as a gift, as a place where He can reveal Himself.

Question: The harder the work for the Creator, the better its result. Where is the pleasure we receive from working for the Creator? How does it fit together?

Answer: It is very simple, the harder the work, the more we can invest in it and, accordingly, receive more. From this, pleasure arises.

Comment: In Rabash’s article “What is Peace in the Work” it is said that the point of our union, which we are all striving for, is coming to peace with the Creator, that is,  concluding a union with Him so that he can help us abolish our nature of receiving for ourselves.

My Response: Yes, this is the point of our unity.

In order to build this circle in a ten and from its center turn to the Creator, we must try to be together all the time, to unite into one whole, as they say, into one person with a single desire for one goal.

And so gradually we will have a common desire for this. That is, we will demand that the Creator  help us unite to become one and in this form reach the goal.

Question: If I see myself as evil in the outside world, but at the same time I feel love in the ten, where and what am I distorting?

Answer: You must make sure that in the outside world you are also perceived as exuding love. You must have that feeling about the whole world, even your enemies.

My Response: That is good. And now try to create a relationship of love over your rejection.

Question: How when I am in a ten can I come to despair and cry to the Creator?

Answer: If you are in the ten, try to be connected with it into one common whole, and you have the task ahead of you to reach the Creator, then you begin to see how impossible this task is for you and your ten. That is when you start crying to the Creator.

Question: Am I crying or should the ten cry?

Answer: You, first of all.

Question: Does it then turn out that I am disappointed in the ten?

Answer: No. You see that you are placing yourself above the ten, and you cannot agree with this.

Question: What is the difference between the revelation of the Creator to a person, when we see the Creator behind each friend, and the fact that we look at the holy Shechina?

Answer: The difference is that if we want to get closer to the Creator, to His qualities, the quality of bestowal, connection, and love, then we cannot think about anything else. We must put everything on the rails, except what is necessary.

Necessities include caring for children and so on. And all the most important things we have in our souls should be directed to the Creator and connected with Him.

Question: What is the difference between directing yourself to the Creator or directing yourself to the observation of the Shechina?

Answer: Directing yourself to the Creator means to be only on the path to this. But seeing the Shechina or connecting with it is already reaching complete connection with the Creator.

Question: But the connection of the souls of Israel is the Shechina. Is this what we are yearning for? When we say that we want to unite, it is as if we want to see the Shechina between us.

Answer: Yes, of course. But that is the goal. This is not yet the desire we should be in.

Question: Then what should be the desire if the ultimate goal is to connect to Shechina for the sake of the Creator. Where is the Creator?

Answer: The Creator is reached through the connection between us, when we prefer to be connected with Him and with nothing else. This is the path to the Creator.
