Unraveling the Riddle of Nature

765.1The mechanism of entering the upper world is the mechanism where a person builds a screen for oneself, explores oneself, studies one’s egoistic nature, and gradually changes it into an altruistic one. At the same time, they do not disconnect from others; on the contrary, they draw them to themselves, and include them within themselves, just as a mother includes the desires and the entire essence of her child within herself.

In the same way, each of us must include all of humanity within ourselves because this is how we expand ourselves.

I only have a point, an embryo of contact with everyone else, and I can expand like a womb expands when a fetus develops inside it. In its normal state, the womb is, say, the size of a small pear, and as it expands it becomes like a huge soccer ball.

That is how my embryonic soul represents a point, called “the point in the heart.” As I accept others into myself, they enter this point, and it begins to expand, to swell, and turn into a womb, into my AHP, which includes everyone, up to all of humanity, or at least the small group of like‑minded people with whom we work in this way, each relative to the others like a womb.

Thus I begin to perceive all of humanity within myself (not somewhere outside, abstractly, but precisely inside myself) and to relate to it as to the most precious thing within me, like the organism of a mother that is set up to devote itself solely to the development of the fetus.

This is the basis of correcting egoism—including all others within yourself as your most precious integral part, and working on it. In doing so, you completely replace the introverted perception of the world with an extroverted one. In truth, it is not really extroverted, but it is called so because it is connected with others. But these “others” are no longer others. They are already the closest, most precious part of you.

When we reach such a state, we see that all of creation, all of nature, is absolutely one single whole, and there is no life and death, no transition from one state to another, everything is eternal and perfect. A person rises above all limitations of time, space, movement, life, and death; everything disappears. He clearly enters an entirely different dimension.

At the same time, until the very last moment, this world does not disappear; you continue to exist in it physically. And only when absolutely all souls, that is, all people, change their attitude, their nature, to a single love, a single inclusion in each other, then all the worlds and our world as well, that is, the entire illusion of existence in our egoistic dimension, will gradually disappear because it is given to us only so that we would perform this work upon ourselves.

We were deliberately, artificially pulled out of a unified state, separated, given an awareness of “self,” so that now, through our own efforts, we could gather again. Today humanity is entering a stage in which our nature, our earthly existence, this little world and our sensation in it will push us out, like labor pains, into the higher dimension, and force us to enter it through our problems.

We have no idea at all what is happening in the world. The ecological upheavals will be such! And you cannot do anything against them. It is they that will bring humanity to the necessity of uniting against a common enemy, nature.

This nature will reveal itself when we all must unite. There are no Arabs and Jews here, no Russians and Americans, no Africans and Europeans! Here all of us are tiny little humans against a huge nature.

And then we will see that this nature has its own form, its own plan, its own intention, its own brain, its own mind. And therefore it addresses us in this way on purpose and teaches us to become wiser. In this way it will force us to become connected with one another and to unravel the riddle of why it acts this way. We will discover in it a cause‑and‑effect influence upon us, a sense of rationality. Let’s not place ourselves above it. Who are we? Little bugs. We will see that we exist within a vast mind that compels us to grow gradually.

Therefore all environmental shifts inspire great hope for imminent positive changes in human society.
The Creator will force us to come closer through the pressure of the surrounding nature, and will compel us in some way to seek interaction and mutual assistance.

Rising Above Eternity

715Question: How will society be transformed when Kabbalah is used correctly? How will it be expressed internally and externally?

Answer: First of all, all mass media should change their direction in a single decision of the majority of countries. Everything should be aimed at explaining to the masses that only our unity will save the world and restore nature’s positive influence on us.

The mass media is a system that can be rapidly changed for the benefit of the global community, and thus reverse the direction of our development.

We will immediately see positive effects across everything: health, end of terror, weather conditions, society, and more. You will suddenly see that everything calms down, balances out, and becomes peaceful: children’s relationships with their parents, problems with the younger generation, everything instantly calms in each of these manifestations. Enormous egoism, great evil, and resistance to each other suddenly disappear. It is not that angels will walk on earth, no; people are beginning to understand this system, become imbued with it, and feel they can rise above death.

This is what we need to show humanity: “You have the opportunity to rise above death, to achieve a sense of eternity and perfection! This is what is offered to you in addition to life on this earth, which will become truly heavenly, unlike going outside and not knowing if you will return or whether you will have anything to breathe tomorrow.”

The Path to the Recognition of Evil

272Question: Was Ancient Rome, or more precisely, were the Romans Italians?

Answer: No, of course not. Rome was an ancient civilization that gradually dissolved and disappeared. As is usually the case, any civilization that begins to expand outward and conquer everyone else eventually buries itself.

This is a natural process that constantly repeats itself in the development of humanity. Any conquest leads to the conqueror’s gradual downfall.

This is how expansion takes place. By invading other people’s territories, you inevitably have to develop them, because you yourself want to use them. As you develop them, you begin to perceive them as your own. And they, in turn, begin to influence you and little by little to “kill” you. This is the gradual circulation between conquerors and the conquered. But in the end, it is always the conquered who gradually absorb the conqueror.

For example, this is what happened in the USSR, when they tried to create a single Soviet person. It was a good idea. All the plans of the Soviet authorities were correct, except for the method of correction. They did not have the force to apply this method, because for that one must take the upper force, which alone can change our nature. Not by terror, not by hunger, or by any other methods, but precisely by using the upper force. There are many works about this, both by Marx and by Baal HaSulam.

Nevertheless, all of this ultimately leads to the recognition of evil.

Comment: Still, it seems to me that nothing can be achieved in a totalitarian way anymore.

My Response: Now it is already over, we have passed those stages. Today, everything can be corrected only through Kabbalah. I am simply speaking about the past.

The future is very simple. Today, nature is inevitably driving us forward! No one is capable of doing anything about it. Nature will press on us very clearly, and we will be forced to develop, driven by nature, putting out fires, saving ourselves from floods, tsunamis, volcanoes, from heat, and from everything else.

What Do Wolves Teach Us?

504Question: Wolves move in a line. First are three old and sick wolves. They are followed by five of the strongest ones. Then comes the part of the pack they are protecting, and another then five strong wolves. The leader walks last, making sure no one falls behind. So being a leader does not mean being at the front of the pack but making sure everyone arrives?

Answer: That is the most important thing—caring for the safety of everyone.

Question: Including the elderly ones walking in front?

Answer: Absolutely everyone! That is exactly how the leader is evaluated.

Question: Is this the strength of a leader?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Is this possible at all?

Answer: You see that among wolves it is. For people, it is more difficult.

Comment: After all, you still hold on to the chair if you are elected, and so on.

My Response: Humanity has largely corrupted itself over the last thousands of years.

Comment: There it is instinct that works, and with us, it is reason.

My Response: In an animal pack, there is a clear inner understanding of necessity that works.

Question: There, in the pack? Meaning, they live according to nature?

Answer: Yes. Such is the nature of both us and a wolf pack around us. Only in this way can we act and survive.

Question: And what about us here?

Answer: Here, we are nobody and nothing. Everyone looks for where to run, how to escape taking responsibility, and lets others manage however they can. “I have nothing to do with it.”

Comment: So we have come to the conclusion that the leader, the one in charge, must see everyone and walk behind them.

My Response: Yes, and that is how we must create such a “pack” so that people will come to us and ask to join us, specifically under our rules.

Question: When you say “we,” who are you talking about?

Answer: “We” means the group.

Question: And people will come because they will understand that everyone is caring for one another?

Answer: Yes, there is no other path. In order to preserve ourselves, to raise children, to provide security for the elderly, for women, and for children, we must behave precisely in this way.

It’s Better to Move on One’s Own than Under the Lash

527.09If we prove incapable of awakening the world to spiritual advancement so that a light shines for it ahead, then suffering will begin to push it from behind, forcing it to advance. And this is a very long path until suffering compels a person to think about what to do and why he is suffering. Imagine how much time and suffering this requires! If, however, we contribute even a little to development by disseminating the wisdom of Kabbalah, we quickly awaken development and avoid all these blows.

It is known that everything that occurs on the still (inanimate) level is equivalent to a single action on the vegetative level. Everything that occurs on the vegetative level is equivalent to a single action on the animate level. Just imagine this difference between the degrees!

Wars, suffering, and terrible catastrophes must occur in order to move us even one step higher to the next degree. And instead of this, we can draw the upper light and avoid all these problems on the level of this world!

Ten years full of suffering can be replaced by one tiny personal movement toward spiritual development with the help of the light! Such is the difference between the degrees of the still, vegetative, animate, and human levels. Therefore, we must relate with full responsibility to the opportunities given to us.

A Quick Path Together With the Light

751.1Right now, the informational genes (Reshimot) are changing within us at infinite speed, but there are so many of them, and all must be realized in sequence, so it seems as if nothing is changing.

But before these inner changes produce an outer change, like a counter suddenly jumping to the next number, billions of actions must spin inside. So give them time to go by!

It is said: “Those who seek the Creator accelerate time.” All of our participation in creation comes down to accelerating our development.

After all, you are at the bottom, in this world, with the data received during the descent from above downward. You are obligated to ascend the same path from below upward; the path is unchangeable. You can only accelerate your development, make the path quick, desirable, and therefore pleasant.

This is the whole difference between the path of suffering against one’s will and the path of light, through desire.

The path of suffering is long, and the forces of nature act upon us to push us forward with blows. And we, like donkeys, stand and refuse to budge. Such is the natural path of development.

And the second path is when you yourself want and seek how to advance. And so you shorten the path for yourself and make it desirable, meaning it becomes comfortable, pleasant, and also fast!

The Formula for Reducing Suffering, Part 3

232.01Question: What is the difference between suffering along the natural path of development and suffering when time is accelerated? If the only difference is time, does that mean I would have to suffer a hundred times more?

Answer: There are terrible tragedies that shock the entire world. The whole world feels some blows because everyone tries this situation on themselves, knowing that it could happen anywhere.

It is possible to transfer these sufferings to the spiritual level and avoid the tragedies. To what extent did these sufferings advance humanity toward goodness, toward understanding the need to work on unity? Not more than a millimeter.

Instead, it would have been enough to make the very smallest spiritual effort—to agree at least a little that salvation lies in unity, in bringing everyone closer together in our global world, to engage the heart and the mind just a bit—and we would have neutralized these sufferings.

Both paths move us toward the goal. But what an enormous amount of suffering is required to advance by the natural path. Fourteen billion years were needed for the development of inanimate nature on Earth. A couple of billion years for the plant world to develop, another billion years for animals, and another hundred thousand years for a monkey to become a human being.

Look at the proportion between inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human development. At the high, human level, development proceeds very quickly.

The same principle applies to all modern technology: it becomes faster, more sensitive, and far more powerful. The greater the force of nature, the more concealed it is and the faster it acts. This is precisely the difference between the natural path and the acceleration of time.

Many sufferings could have been avoided, and time could have been accelerated.

Question: Does this mean that tragedies and terrorist attacks will happen more and more often?

Answer: Terrorist attacks can be avoided if we use the method of unity that Kabbalah offers. As long as we do not do this, attacks will occur more frequently because the world is constantly advancing, and our egoism is steadily growing.

The world does not remain in the same state; by learning through blows, it is moving forward. It has its own dynamic of development. Egoism keeps intensifying. That is why, twenty years ago, one major blow per year was enough to teach us something, whereas today we already need twenty blows a year.

Our egoism has grown. It is like a child who has become more egoistic, ruthless, and stubborn, and therefore must be punished more than one who is merely a little lazy. That is why today the world receives far more blows than it did ten years ago. And if we do not begin to advance by the path of light, this will continue: blow after blow, more and more.

I only hope that it will not come to natural disasters. For now, it is limited to global warming and typhoons, but if we do not engage in our correction, it could reach real natural cataclysms.

The Path of Light Instead of the Path of Suffering

254.01Question: If everything in the world depends on people engaged in spiritual development, does it mean we are responsible for all the suffering in the world?

Answer: We do not cause suffering in the world; on the contrary, by attracting the light, we move suffering from the material level to the level of spiritual suffering. Meaning, instead of suffering from wars, diseases, and all other problems, we suffer from a lack of spirituality. This is what the science of Kabbalah gives a person.

It brings him “suffering,” but it cannot even be called that; it is the suffering of love, as if I were invited to a meal in a couple of hours, so I do not eat right now to keep my appetite strong. This is called the suffering of love; it is when I realize that I should prepare spiritual Kelim.

And even now, in the empty Kelim, I feel the glow of the upcoming meeting with the people I love, and from the meal. This is what humanity needs to be brought to, to show them that there is a solution and to develop not as a result of the blows of nature.

Now we are entering a period of ecological problems that can cause the suffering and death of thousands of people. We see natural disasters occurring all over the world, in China, Europe, Russia, and America.

The only way to escape it is to transition to preparing spiritual Kelim, not in an earthly form, not waiting decades for suffering to pass until we finally realize that there is a reason and a goal and two paths to the goal: the path of light and the path of suffering.

Why should we suffer in vain? Let us draw the light now that will show us the difference between its state and ours, so we would suffer from the fact that we want a better state, rather than from feeling bad now.
This is what the science of Kabbalah offers man—the path of light instead of the path of suffering.

Intervene in the Formula of the Future

232.09Question: Does the science of Kabbalah allow us to predict the future?

Answer: The science of Kabbalah knows all of nature’s plans, that is, the Creator’s, the whole path we must go through. After all, the balance of positive and negative forces at all levels follows the formulas known in Kabbalah. But there is also one small factor in these formulas: human freewill.

This means that we can influence these formulas now and in the future and determine how we will transition from the present to the future.

At each moment, which instantly renews and becomes the past, I can determine how I move from state to state in the next moment or over a more extended period.

Our states must progress toward the general balance we need to achieve among us. All of nature strives for balance, including the human system, humanity.

But how exactly to move toward this state of equilibrium, which is called the final correction of humanity, depends on us. We can approach it positively or negatively, depending on our involvement.

Question: Is there a certain amount of time allotted to achieve the final correction?

Answer: The time limit is 6,000 years, and we are now in the year 5776 [in 2016]. That is, humanity has 224 years to correct itself and balance the forces at play within it: good and evil. These two forces only need to be balanced. There is no evil force and no good force; the only bad thing is a lack of balance between them. We, the people, are obliged to balance them.

But we do not have to wait 224 years; we can do it much earlier. It is possible to balance the forces operating within humanity within months. The power of evil is a vast force; it is our evil nature, egoism, which prevails in our every action. The power of good is very weak. It only softens our egoism a little, which allows us to somehow coexist without killing or devouring each other. But in essence, we are all driven by our egoism, and everyone wants to rise above the other, to be taller, stronger, richer.

First we need to recognize that egoism is our main enemy and it must be balanced. There is a good force in us that can balance our egoism; we just need to develop it.

The power of good and the power of evil must be properly balanced, and reach the what is called the “middle line,” so that we are balanced between good and evil. Through the balance of these two forces, we come to a balanced, benevolent world.

All of nature is based on two opposing forces: light and dark, day and night, plus and minus, cold and heat, electrons and positrons. There is no force in the world without a counterforce.

We just need to find a point of balance between these two forces in all their manifestations, and we will feel good in it to such an extent that if we balance these two forces, we will feel that we live in an eternal, perfect world, in the Garden of Eden.

We Can Do Nothing without the Creator

236.01When you become completely disillusioned with your search for yourself, for life, for the purpose of life, and for the Creator, and so on, then you are approaching the point of finding Him.

Question: So this disillusionment has to happen?

Answer: Yes.

Comment: Meaning that I must put effort into the search.

My Response: Absolutely everything you possibly can.

Question: Should my efforts be based on the idea that I can do everything myself?

Answer: Yes. And after you realize that you yourself can do nothing, you begin to determine where is it possible to connect with the Creator.

Question: You said, “I can do nothing.” Do I really not have any ability at all? Nothing?

Answer: Nothing.

Question: Not even some simple things?

Answer: No, no! Until a person raises their hands completely, fully entrusting themselves to the higher force, nothing will work for them.

Question: Today, we see wars and crises approaching, more and more intense ecological disasters, and so on. Will all of this lead us to the understanding that we can do nothing?

Answer: That is a question. What we see today, I do not think will lead to that yet. Humanity still understands its state and its dependence very little. It believes it can still do something.

Question: So we must knock out this “chair” from under ourselves, i.e., the idea that I can do something?

Answer: Yes. We can do nothing without the Creator.
