Medium published my new article “Clean Up Earth of Our Polluted Human Nature”

The United Nations recently celebrated the International Mother Earth Day as a reminder to protect the environment. Heat waves, droughts, fires and heavy rains that cause severe flooding have become more frequent in many parts of the world due to climate change, which affects the entire worldwide population.

The Earth is facing a “triple planetary crisis,” warn UN officials. Climate disruption, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste are the main areas of concern regarding the current state of the environment. This year, the Earth Day’s theme is “Invest In Our Planet,” so what would humanity’s best investment for the planet be?

We need to start by cleaning up the planet. There is no place on Earth where the air and water are clean, and that’s a real problem. In theory, tackling this issue should be our priority when it comes to taking action to improve the dismal state of our planet. But let’s not fool ourselves. Such a plan alone will solve nothing.

It will only help the international organizations to justify their own existence. They tick off “done” to raise as much money as they want, and that’s it. If we do not improve relations between us, we will not be able to achieve the great and ambitious improvement in nature that we want and need to attain globally. We will never achieve a good result through bureaucratic, mechanical measures.

There are a lot of people sitting in their comfortable offices profiting from the environmental crisis and demanding money and respect. They keep flying from one end of the world to the other on all kinds of missions to make a lot of noise with what they are “doing” and which everyone “needs to hear” as if that alone means something is happening, but in practice we see no real progress. The Earth must also be cleansed of them, of these people who engage in useless campaigns that only cause harm because they mislead the world, leading it away from the real solution.

The cleaning of the planet should start inside out. If we do not clean the planet from within, and continue with our reckless behavior and the selfish nature of our hearts as before, nothing will change for the better. The immense sums invested in environmental initiatives should be directed to spreading an educational process aimed at improving the way we relate to each other.

Humans are the most developed and influential factors of all of nature’s levels: still, vegetative, animate and human. Since we occupy the highest level in nature, positively affecting the environment, the climate, and nature in general can be achieved by reaching positive relations among us. On the contrary, by letting our divisive drives tear apart human relations, we also destroy our surrounding environment, the very nature that our lives depend on.

The more we humans are able to correct ourselves by changing our divisive attitudes toward each other into positive attitudes of mutual support, encouragement, mutual responsibility, and reciprocal concern, the more we will receive positive feedback from nature. And the more we develop without making this necessary correction, the more negative feedback we will receive from nature, as we have experienced in the form of natural disasters, pandemics.

It is of utmost importance for us to organize our thoughts, desires and qualities so that we understand that saving the environment and a shift to a better future depend solely on changing our attitudes to each other: from antagonistic egoism to positive, compassionate and cooperative relationships.

Question: What is being recorded in the genetic code, in the future life, and in the character of children born at this time under the sign of war, under this shock?

Answer: A very clear understanding that war is actually absolutely alien to the world is being recorded in them. It does not bring anything useful to human society for sure. And the damage it causes cannot be justified in any way.

Answer: Humanity is one single organism.

Question: So, does this apply to the entire generation that is being born? Even if life is just beginning within the mother, does this penetrate even into it?

Answer: Of course! All of it in a spiritual form! It is all floating in one information cloud.

This stress is universal and all-encompassing. The next generation, therefore, will not fight wars. It will not understand what we need them for. It will simply be confident that it is absolute harmful to everyone. And what is interesting is that there will be no need to convince him of this.

He will see that in interactions, trade, and the mutually complementation of each other in science, technology, commerce, economy, and so on, there is a direct benefit for humanity and not in nothing else.

Question: Is it the Creator who changes generations with such a sharp shock?

Answer: Yes, this is how it is changed, of course. Once we thought that this is possible with the help of a very long educational process. No, it gives no results. Look at the world. Who needs to fight with whom?

Question: What would you wish for the next generation?

Answer: To recognize what state they are in, what is important for the world, what develops the world, and where history pushes it. So much so that neither with the development of any weapons nor by anything else can you change anything. You are hurting yourself with this. People will understand this now from this entire campaign.

Question: Are you optimistic about the future generation?

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “Is Europe on the Verge of Nuclear War?”

The current times expose Europe’s vulnerability and the risk of further escalation of war that could explode in a split second. Finland and Sweden have announced their desire to apply for NATO membership. On the other hand, Russia looks at the move as a threat and has warned of a military response including the deployment of nuclear and hypersonic weapons to the Baltic Sea area if those nations join the alliance.

Finland and Sweden claim that the war in Ukraine has prompted increasing public support for them to become part of the 30-member military alliance, based on opinion polls. Both Nordic countries have refrained from joining NATO for decades in an attempt to maintain neutrality, but it seems those calculations have changed.

Could the tensions in Europe unfold in the form of nuclear conflict? First of all, as soon as the war in Ukraine ends, the perspectives of the European countries and of the world in general about the future will change profoundly. The assessments about life before and after the conflict–if it can be called a conflict, because it is more complex than that–will determine what lies ahead for everyone. But until we understand that our innate human desire for dominance does nothing to promote a positive change in the world, it will continue to pose a global threat to us all, and the danger of nuclear war will persist in Europe and elsewhere in the world.

The risks of nuclear expansion arise for a purpose: in order to make humanity understand that threat and domination is not the correct way to solve problems between countries. Since nuclear weapons have the ability to exterminate entire populations, they force the world and every person to fear such an outcome and to consider how to change human society as a whole so that such a disastrous scenario would not materialize.

We should have learned this lesson from previous painful events throughout history, but unfortunately, humanity has learned nothing from the former blows. Therefore, we keep stumbling over the same stone again and again.

We will be able to prevent our complete annihilation only when we realize that ruling through hate and separation only paves the way toward destruction. Any hope for a better future depends on our willingness to change our narrowly egoistic viewpoint to a more comprehensive and inclusive view of relations between people and countries.

As foremost Kabbalist Baal HaSulam explains in his eye-opening composition The Writings of the Last Generation, “The bombs will do their thing, and the relics who remain after the ruin will have no other choice but to take upon themselves this work where both individuals and nations will not work for themselves more than is necessary for their sustenance, while everything else they do will be for the benefit of others.” Hopefully, we don’t have to reach a point of despair in order to react and change our course of action from self-interest to cooperation and mutual care.

In the News (Reuters): “A group of more than 100 billionaires and millionaires has issued a plea to political and business leaders convening virtually for the World Economic Forum: make us pay more tax.

“The group calling itself the “Patriotic Millionaires” said that the ultra-wealthy were not currently being forced to pay their share of the global economic recovery from the pandemic.

“‘As millionaires, we know that the current tax system is not fair. Most of us can say that, while the world has gone through an immense amount of suffering in the last two years, we have actually seen our wealth rise during the pandemic – yet few if any of us can honestly say that we pay our fair share in taxes,’ the signatories said in an open letter, published on the occasion of the World Economic Forum’s ‘virtual Davos’…

“Reuters reported last year on the staggering rise in billionaires’ wealth in 2020, as the world went into lockdown and the global economy faced its worst recession since World War Two, prompting the millionaires’ group to call for higher taxes. …

“Over the course of the two years of the pandemic, the fortunes of the world’s 10 richest individuals have risen to $1.5 trillion – or by $15,000 a second – a study by Oxfam this week showed. …

My Response: You can count even more. Where do they get these billions from? They collected this from all the poor, from the oppressed.

Question: So you would like to go deeper, to the basics?

Answer: I don’t want to deal with these matters! But humanity must still put things in order for once. How can it be that one person has billions, not only billions but even more, that is not taxed at all?! Not taxable! They officially create enterprises that initially pay zero taxes! Zero taxes! How can this be?! And an ordinary person pays 20%, 30%, to 40% in taxes.

Why?! They can then scream beautifully: “Take taxes from us! We do not know what to do with our billions! Do me a favor! We beg you!” The beautiful duplicity of our world.

Question: But does this decision of theirs at least please you?

Answer: They are doing it in advance. Overtaking, as if on the run, in front of the chariot, which descends after them from the mountain.

In the News (Daily Mail): “Earth is getting its own ‘Black Box’ that will track climate change and other man-made perils – and potentially document civilisation’s downfall.

“Built ‘to outlive us all’, the 32-foot-long indestructible steel monolith, based in Tasmania, Australia, will be filled with hard drives documenting an ‘unbiased account of the events that lead to the demise of the planet’.

“It will capture scientific data on temperature, sea levels, atmospheric CO2 and many more metrics to provide a document of how humanity failed to avoid a climate disaster.

“Researchers see it as akin to a black box in aviation, which records the performance and condition of an aircraft to provide vital information in case of accidents. “

Comment: It feels like we’re on a plane; we are flying, and the black box is recording something, and we already are starting to crash.

My Response: And we want to send a telegram to Earth.

Question: Yes, and we want to send a telegram: look, this is how we are living and you can’t live like this.

How would you decode this?

Answer: It causes an apocalyptic state. That is, I know in advance that we will die, that we will not exist. Not just me, but the whole civilization, everything.

And in this case maybe we will not leave something even for the grandchildren, because they will not be there, but for someone there. Some humanoids will land on our Earth, dig up our black box, look at it and say: “Ay-ay-ay!”

Question: Should they understand that this is the only reason we died?

Answer: It is because we couldn’t cope with ourselves. Yes, it’s generally terrible to tell some future generation who we are, what we have come to, to what level we have developed, that we know about our future demise and can’t do anything about it.

And at the same time we are proud of what we have in our hands: what bombs, what sciences, and so on. But in fact we can’t use anything for the real good of people, only to everyone’s detriment.

We must use ourselves to the end in order to raise humanity to the next level of correct, kind cooperation.

Answer: No. Even today we find all sorts of cave writings and the Qumran records from the Dead Sea in which they recorded that we are the last generation here and there will be nothing more, and so on. So what?

Answer: Do not leave anything, but do everything now. Humanity must understand that the future is in our hands in any case. We can change it, and it depends on us. Only on us.

Medium published my new article “Chip Crisis Chipping Away at Our Delusions of Independence”

Despite trying to resume normalcy after two years of intermittent lockdowns and vaccine and mask mandates, reality seems to have different ideas for humanity. The latest is a shortage in those silicon chips called “semiconductors,” which operate not only computers, but most everything that modern civilization uses. The semiconductor crisis, aka the “chip crisis,” has become a threat to the global economy and a menace to the stability of society. Since we did not want to learn over the past two years, now a new threat will show us that unless we strive to connect with one another positively, we will seriously hamper, if not altogether lose our comfortable way of life.

At his car dealership in Stoke-on-Trent, England, Umesh Samani, who is also the chairman of the Independent Motor Dealers Association, laments the computer chip shortage. He tells the BBC that all his customer wants is a white, standard model, manual transmission VW Golf, but Samani cannot say when it will arrive.‎ It could be many months, or he fears even a year until delivery. According to Mr. Samani, manufacturers often tell him the computer chip shortage is to blame.

The chip crisis is hurting everyone. According to Reuters, “The White House held a classified briefing … with some U.S. lawmakers on the dire risks to the American economy from semiconductor supply chain issues as it pushes Congress for $52 billion in funding to subsidize production. White House National Economic Council Director Brian Deese told reporters ‘The best estimates are the lack of available semiconductors probably took a full percentage point off of GDP in 2021.’”

Worse yet, the trajectory is negative. “Russia’s war in Ukraine could see the production of neon, a critical gas in advanced ‎semiconductor manufacturing, fall to worryingly low levels at a time when the world is ‎already grappling with a chip shortage,” reports CNBC. At the same time, there are those for whom the crisis is a serendipity. McKinsey & Company, for example, one of the largest consulting firms in the world, explains on its site how “semiconductor companies can take different paths to capture new opportunities as demand ‎continues to outstrip supply.”

McKinsey’s approach is the traditional capitalistic approach. Yet, what had worked for decades is not working anymore. The lesson we should learn from the multiple concurrent crises is that we must wake up fast from our delusions of independence, as we are totally interconnected and interdependent.

It is not new. We have been connected and dependent on each other for many decades now. The difference is that until recently, we could pretend as though we weren’t and get away with it. We fought against each other on every possible level: physical, economical, political, and social. At the same time, we traded with each other as if there were no struggles and no rivalries.

Today, however, the dog-eat-dog attitude has chipped away at our ability to maintain systems running. Just as denying vaccines from those who could not afford them caused mutations to spread around the world, denying semiconductor chips from other countries, either by a sales ban or by destroying plants or the supply chain of vital minerals, will backfire on anyone who employs such tactics.

Chips are essential for anything from microwaves to supercomputers. Without them, we will not be able to grow or cook food, manufacture new cars, use elevators to get to our apartments, build life-saving medical devices, computers, and planes and rockets. In short, chips are simply too critical to be able to allow any one country to deny them of others.

When we become too selfish, we throw the system off balance. Instead of wishing to support one another and benefit from each other’s success, we strive to dominate and oppress one another. When we become like that, every means is fair game.

The problem is that in a war, everyone loses and the result is a global crisis where everyone suffers. If we do not understand this message through one crisis, another, more crippling one comes along and conveys the same point. If we do not understand it through the second crisis, a third, more forceful one manifests.

This is learning nature’s way, the way of pain and suffering. We can learn of our interdependence and its resulting obligation to cooperate and form a balanced society by teaching ourselves. If we accept the inexorable fact of our mutual dependence, we will learn to work with it in a way that truly benefits everyone, and not only the most powerful, while the rest of humanity groans in pain and seeks to overthrow them in a revolution that will only increase the suffering of humanity.
