Each of us lacks only one thing—to try to open his heart. If a person opens his heart, in comes love of friends, which is the root of the love of the Creator. That is, love of the Creator is established in him, and he begins to feel the upper force.

Love of friends is a necessary condition; it is the stream through which love of the Creator flows, absolute love. It solves all problems and connects all hearts. And then a person begins to feel what is really happening in the world.

A person realizes that there is no material world but only absolute love called love of the world that embraces him from all sides. And in the light of this love, he reveals the whole reality, the whole universe from one end to another.

Question: I feel the hearts of my friends, but my heart is torn into pieces. I keep bumping into the wall of egoism when I try to open it. I feel terrible shame from the thought that if I open my heart, everyone will see that there is criticism, judgements, and all sorts of nonsense.

Answer: So what’s the big deal? First, the usual answer to this is: “Go to the Creator who created my heart this way, complain to Him.” Therefore, when a person reveals his bad heart, he should not be ashamed and hide.

He must try to rise up and ask the Creator to correct, in general, what the Creator Himself did. We have every right to turn to Him and demand that He correct our hearts.

The science of Kabbalah is built on the fact that we unite in asking and demanding correction. And the Creator initially says: “I created the evil inclination and gave the Torah to correct it.”

What does “the Torah to correct it” mean? This is the highest light that we can attract, and it will correct us; only it can do this. And our task is to discover our faults and evil, and ask the Creator for help. He specifically waits for us to beg Him because in this case we will draw closer to Him.

Everyone can ask the Creator, and He hears everyone, but we must push Him to action only from the group. There are thousands of people at the convention, and therefore, when you ask and speak, you connect with each other and unite in a common heart.

In ordinary life, we act in tens. And if the ten is united, it can influence the Creator so that He changes each of its friends. Good luck to you!

Question: There is the force of the group. We know that if the friends do not pray for me, I will not rise. My spirit is lifted only by them thinking about me. That is how I use it. But what for?

Answer: In order to rise and pull them along with you; just like today maybe they are pulling you along with them. After all, everyone helps the other and thus we achieve the goal.

We must unite into one single system called Adam from which we all scattered by our egoism and return again to this single desire where everyone supports everyone, holds on and clings to each other, and thus unite in one heart. Then we will begin to feel only one force between us and around us—the Creator.

Answer: It is best to keep the main goal in front of you and strive for it all the time because intermediate goals can confuse you. They will manifest, but still as intermediary.

Question: What should be the perception of the physical group when we try to connect the three components: me, the group, and the Creator?

Answer: There is no physical group! In no way are you in a physical group!

What difference does it make who is where and at what distance from each other?! Do we have to sniff each other like dogs, or do we have to touch each other? What for?!

We rise above our senses. Why should I care what you look like and in general who and what you are?!

Of course we must have some initial common opportunities for exchanging desires, properties, and information. There has to be something there to start this process.

But when we begin this movement and exit the framework of our corporeal sensation, we yearn toward the general structure that we want to create from our inclinations to ascend, to find the meaning of life, and so on. And then that is it, it no longer matters who is who.

We see that people all over the world are studying with us: from Chile, Mexico, North America, England, Romania, Russia, etc.

During these days before the congress we will see 1,500 to 2,000 people here.

There is no stronger convention in the world than ours where people from all countries come here! They come to do serious work! This is amazing!

Question: We spoke about shame often at this convention. Why is it that after every action, be it prayer or a duty, we experience doubts and I fear whether I did the right thing or not?

Answer: It is in order to move you even further in a more correct way and so that you assess yourself correctly. Therefore, this is good.

Question: I myself feel and I see on my friends that in the lesson we are being totally knocked out, especially when we read some article.

If I try to connect and pray, my strength—of which there is little left anyway—is immediately taken away from me. When I try to ask not for myself, I immediately switch off and fall asleep. How can we help each other be in thoughts and in prayer?

Answer: This is the correct state. Because you do not have the feelings to ask and pray for others yet. But if you constantly, despite any difficulties, ask, you will find that it is possible, and you will receive an answer.

If you connect with each other and embrace each other, you will see how much a common spiritual universe opens up before you. You will not be afraid, you will not get confused about anything, and everything will be open and clear.

Question: We study that the Creator is good and does good. But we see a lot of evil in the world: wars, murders, and crimes. How can we see this as a manifestation of the good Creator? Sometimes it seems impossible.

Answer: We cannot understand this yet. To do this we need to rise a little above our world, and then we will see in a perspective from the beginning to the end of creation what it should go through. Only to this extent will we be able to justify the Creator. Otherwise, in our eyes and in our properties there is nothing more terrible than the Creator.

Everything that happens in the world comes from Him. Therefore, evil is a manifestation of His governance. We must see ourselves as the chosen ones in order to change this governance from evil to good.

Therefore it is said: “I have created the evil inclination and gave the Torah to correct it.” The Torah is the upper light that we must attract upon ourselves, and to this extent we will begin to feel how our world turns into good. This is all entrusted to us. Let’s try to do it.

Answer: Each of us is a black dot, and this is our initial egoistic state.
