“He made these comments at a rally on Saturday night in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv, where a couple of thousand gathered to project unity and call for an end to the divisiveness plaguing Israeli society in the wake of Sgt. Elor Azaria’s manslaughter conviction. …

“Late Thursday night, Shilon, who has been an inspiration to many Israelis due to his optimism in the face of great adversity, took to Facebook to decry the ‘hate’ which has divided the nation.

“’I feel that our people are divided, hurt, hateful, disappointed, discouraged,’ he wrote.”

Question: Ziv appealed to anyone, who wants to show their commitment to unity and solidarity to gather on the square in the evening. Thousands of people responded to the call. The Arvut movement took part in the rally and organized hundreds of round tables. How important do you see this action?

Answer: Of course, it was a very important event. After all, the people of Israel were created from a group selected by Abraham from all the inhabitants of ancient Babylon, that is, of the entire human civilization at that time, 3,500 years ago. This group was dedicated to connection as their ideology. Fifteen hundred years before the destruction of the Temple they were able to live in unity as much as possible.

But then this union collapsed and they fell into egoistic desires, in which we are to this day. The sense of the upper reality, perceived only through the forces of bestowal and the desire to connect, disappeared from our senses and from our lives. We must renew and awaken this feeling. Every day the world and each of us need it more and more.

Therefore, everything directed to the connection is very important to us. This is the mission of the Bnei Baruch organization. We want to be the link that unites people and leads to unity, bringing the correct form of connection to the people.

Unfortunately, there are many methods that just confuse people. We want to bring the correct method of connection described by Baal HaSulam. Initially, we all are egoists and are unable to unite. No attempt will succeed, as can be seen from the entire path traversed by humanity. The only way is to attract the positive force of unity hidden in nature, so that it will dress in us and implement our connection.

We all bicker with each other like quarrelsome children. Yet this force, like a cloud, suddenly descends upon us and gives us the opportunity to think well of each other and to treat each other kindly. Suddenly everybody calms down and sees each other as friends that are worthy of our friendship.

Such a force exists in nature; we just need to awaken it. It is possible through certain actions of connection. This is not a simple connection as has been attempted many times in the world. In order to attract this special force that can unite us, we need a special method. And this method exists! It is called the wisdom of Kabbalah.

The method of Kabbalah or the method of connection can attract the positive force of nature that will dwell within us. It is absolutely necessary nowadays. Judging by the demonstration that took place at Rabin Square on January 7^th and what caused it, we can see how urgently it is needed.

Only by attracting the Reforming Light, the positive force of connection that neutralizes the negative effect of our egoism, can we advance to a good future. Otherwise, our state can become very dangerous, threatening the very existence of the people of Israel. Therefore, it is important to hold such events and organize roundtables that allow a person to feel that it is possible to realize the connection, possible to sit together in a circle and unite.

I would put people from the opposing sides, right and left, together in a circle so that they would try to talk about something that they have in common rather than their differences, “How can we reach unity? Is it possible? What forces do we need? What kind of future awaits us if we don’t reach unity?”

A person must consistently go through the entire path and find the answer. This isn’t simple; after all, the people of Israel are called “stiff-necked” for a reason. But we have to work on it because our good future depends only on it. This is our only hope.

Comment: In the evening at the square, I met two young men from the United States who come to Israel for the seventeenth time. After sitting in a circle they said that they always wanted to see exactly such an Israel, and this is the first time their dream finally came true. That is what they were looking for every time they came to Israel.

During the evening many people spoke about the same thing, wondering how they had never heard of the Arvut movement and roundtables, which provide the unusual experience of warmth and the feeling of unity. Many thanks to all the participants of the Arvut movement who gathered for the meeting from across the country and organized circles in order to melt and connect the hearts of the people of Israel.

Comment: I came to the wisdom of Kabbalah via Freemasonry. I was interested in its history and gradually everything related to Freemasonry came down to the wisdom of Kabbalah for me.

From an evolutionary perspective there was a breakthrough in human development when the Kabbalists met the Templars: the invention of the banking system, medical advancements, etc., which can be regarded as evolution on the level of the speaking, including fighting wars.

Then came the next phase, the 13^th century in which Europe was not developed, then the 15^th century when it reached unprecedented heights. Then there was the fast development of the US in the span of 200 years, which is hard to grasp. This is a purely Kabbalistic project whether we admit it or not.

Answer: This is a true account of human history, but the problem is that during these periods the wisdom of Kabbalah went along with man’s egoism, pushing and developing and helping him like a mother who teaches her small child. Therefore, our development was in the direction needed for man’s understanding.

Now, however, we have reached the next phase that is opposite from our nature. It isn’t about the establishment of the banking system and profit making, or the development of industry and making society more egoistic, closed, and intricate, but rather about a different humanity, a different kind of communication.

This is why we have to get closer to others not in order to benefit from them but to lower our ego a bit and give in to it. Then a system of mutual consent will be created, and this is already a totally different approach, a different method.

Question: It is very difficult to move to a spiritual nature of bestowal and love of others. Do you believe that the whole world can do this?

Answer: I by no means am a utopian; I am a realist. Only special people with a special predisposition for a spiritual transformation can attain the characteristic of bestowal and love of others. They are called Kabbalists.

There may only be a few dozen of them in the world, no more. But they can lead all of humanity after them because otherwise it will not be possible for us to continue existing on the face of the Earth. The prophecy that everyone will follow “Israel” will come true, meaning that they will follow those who yearn for and aim toward the Creator, the characteristics of bestowal and love.

Therefore, a group of ten Kabbalists on the planet suffices to lead everyone to the goal of creation.

Question: What kind of a future is expected for us in 2017?

Answer: A Bright Future! Humanity will finally understand that the wisdom of Kabbalah is a method for the existence of the world and its development. It tells about the goal of the forces that manage it, about ways to go to a level of managing and understanding them, and where they are leading us.

We need to see the light and become a bit more mature with an expanded method of understanding the world. I hope that the year 2017 will give us this opportunity and people will see that this is the destiny for all of us.

We need to move to a new dimension and begin to feel what astrophysicists talk about today: we are living in a world that is much more complex than what we assume.

We need to understand it, become much more diversified, and not focused every moment on getting minimal pleasure, but to rise a bit higher above our nature. This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah makes possible for us. But to do this, we must find interest and patience for it. I hope this year will help us to do that.

And we who study the wisdom of Kabbalah need to go out to the public with a more understandable, closer, softer, friendlier explanation so that people will understand us. We need to bring them the method for attaining a good and eternal life. After all, the wisdom of Kabbalah reveals a completely different scope of existence.

We are waiting for you, not only we, but all of humanity. Come, help, and see that the next year will be completely different, better.

Question: What must we strive for in 2017?

Answer: Unity, to an understanding of one another. But this is only possible after at least an elementary familiarity with the wisdom of Kabbalah. I wish this for all of us. Good luck and a good year!

Question: Why was it necessary to conceal the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: It was only so that humanity would not be confused. In our time, if people read a book of Kabbalah, they will not understand anything in it because in order to understand it, a person must ascend to a higher level and begin using the forces that operate there. Therefore, the Kabbalists hid their books.

There is no reason to reveal what nature itself hides. For example, nature revealed its nuclear energy 2,000 years ago, but it was only in the last century that people began to use it. Imagine what would have happened if that had occurred earlier!

Question: To balance the egoism, one needs to attain the positive force in nature. How does one discover it?

Answer: It is only if he acts according to the integral system: working in a group, nullifying himself toward the friends correctly, and studying the wisdom of Kabbalah together with them. In that way, he awakens and invites upon himself the influence of that positive force concealed in nature.

In our world, everything is based upon mutual cooperation between plus (the positive force) and minus (the negative force), but the plus level of human nature is concealed; we must get it from nature. To do this, a person must long to attain the positive force.

This is possible only if a person maintains all the conditions that I indicated earlier. Then he arouses the revelation of the positive force on himself. Through balancing it with the negative force, he builds himself.

Question: What is the significance of books and libraries in the evolution of humanity?

Answer: I will answer as a scientist who has sought to learn all my life. Since the age of nine I subscribed to the magazines Knowledge is Power, Technology for Teens, Science and Life, and later to the magazine Radio. How can one live without literature or books? Today we can upload all the world’s literature on one computer and give each one access to the treasures of human intelligence.

Question: Why does a person need this knowledge?

Answer: It depends upon what we want to insert into our memory.

Education is built by reading many different sources, which are all forgotten but which build the special connections in our brain, in our memory, and today when we look at different objects, instruments, and phenomena, we can perceive, understand, and relate to them correctly because the right relationship has been created.

By reading a lot, we seemingly create internal software inside us, like Word for example. Once you upload Word on your computer, you can use this software to read texts, to write, etc.

Similarly, education uploads its software in us and we don’t need to remember anything because the major basic intelligence of man is already inside us.

Question: Will it always be this way?

Answer: I believe that it will gradually disappear because everything will be completed by the wisdom of Kabbalah, which provides us with full knowledge of the world we are living in: who we are and how we should correct this world.

Question: Why has the wisdom of Kabbalah become more popular today?

Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah is a wisdom that has to be revealed in our days to all the people in the world. I have been engaging in it for over 40 years. During this time it has really become more popular and sought after in our world, not because we advertise it but because the world needs it.

The wisdom of Kabbalah tells a person what he is living for and how he can ascend from our world to a state of eternity and perfection.

More and more people today feel the need to reveal the meaning of life because in spite of our broad perspective of our world where we look around and see everything from the top down, all the way to the horizon and beyond the horizon, we don’t know what the meaning of our life is on this small planet at the end of the galaxy. People don’t know what we are living for.

They say that when you look at Earth from space you begin to understand a little. Let’s ascend a bit and look at our small planet and at what we engage in, where we are running, and what we are doing. Stop and look. Our perpetual motion steals the main things from us.

We don’t engage in the most important thing that musts be done in our world, which is getting out of its boundaries. The next world exists, and today it is open for everyone. We are in our world like inside a small room, running around like kids, playing and jumping from one corner to another, but if we just open the door and come out, we will see a huge world before us.

The wisdom of Kabbalah enables us to do so. People feel that it is time. Such desires emerge in them. This is the reason that the wisdom of Kabbalah, which speaks about the fulfillment of these desires, is very popular today, and I offer it to you.

Torah, Deuteronomy 12:5: But only to the place which the Lord your God shall choose from all your tribes, to set His Name there; you shall inquire after His dwelling and come there.

The common soul is divided into twelve tribes because it consists of the four-letter name of the Creator “Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey” (called HaVaYaH), and each of these letters includes three lines: right, left, and middle.

Four times three equals twelve parts, i.e., twelve tribes, twelve different types of work to correct the desires that must connect together into one single whole.

The place where the twelve tribes work shall be called the Third Temple – the abode of the Creator. After all, the Creator is where the above-egoistic desires, expectations, and aspirations of the entire humanity connect, as it is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (Isaiah 56:7).

This was not said about the first two Temples, because they were preliminary ones and had to be destroyed and rebuilt in the form of the Third Temple that will be built in our hearts.

So far we are just beginning to spread this idea throughout the world. But the impulse has been given. We have already started to move in this direction.

When I was young and next to my teacher, it seemed to me that this was about to happen, and now I understand that it is necessary to go and work. After all, the Kabbalists worked on this all these thousands of years and did not panic, did not become depressed, and did not despair.

They knew that they had to put their little stone into the general picture: to attract more and more people, to talk to, show, and at least somehow shape them, to direct them to the vision of the future common state where we can reveal the single Creator in our common heart.

We live in a wonderful time when we make a transition from the absolute concealment of the upper world into its attainment! We begin to talk about this world, develop the method of discovering it, and disseminate it everywhere to both ourselves and the nations of the world.

Of course, this requires time. I hope that my students will have their students, who will continue this work—I am absolutely certain of it. However, when it manifests, it depends on our persistence.

Question: Why doesn’t history teach society anything? Why are people unable to understand and accept clear and self-evident facts and draw conclusions from them about the present and the future?

Answer: Humanity learns gradually, but only from its mistakes. Suffering pushes humanity forward. According to what is described in the books of the wisdom of Kabbalah, it had to be this way until our time. Until the end of the 19^th century and the beginning of the 20^th century, humanity developed according to “blows.” And from the end of the 19^th century, the world began to change. The First World War was the beginning of the manifestation of global processes in the world. This trend gradually continued and was manisfested more distinctly after the Second World War. And today we already live in a global world with distinct integral connections.

In our era, when humanity has reached such an integral ego, we are fully entering mutual connections and people are beginning to come into contact with each other over oceans and continents. It is already possible to explain to people that they are not just integrally connected, but that the connections that we have built are bad. Poorly built global connections are fraught with danger.

Therefore, the wisdom of Kabbalah is revealed and it begins to explain that we must rise to our next level of development. This means that we must begin to comprehend the world through a common mutual connection between us, not each one of us personally through his or her senses. When this happens, we will feel the world in a completely different way, on another plane, in another dimension. We will see it as a  fully interconnected system, a system in which a single force acts, managing everything.

It is similar to a flock of birds. Their number can reach into the thousands, and yet they all obey a single desire, one intention and motion. Between them exists a collective connection, a collective intelligence, a collective feeling, a collective goal. None of them have personal goals. They all aim only toward instinctive cooperation, realizing a collective program and attaining a common goal. If we were to feel this common system of mutual connection between us, despite our egoism, then through it we would begin to feel what is called “the upper world”; we would reach the feeling of a common nature, a state of eternity and wholeness.

We must reach this state independently and not instinctively as happens with the birds, fish, bees, and the like that are found on the animate level. We must reach this despite and in opposition to our egoism by rising above it and connecting to each other. Then we will begin to feel the force that manages everything.

When the various ants, birds, or fish connect, the general collective force manages them. This is also a higher power, which manifests itself among the birds in such moments. They move without conversing, precisely within this general collective force. This is also what needs to happen to us through the right connection. This is what is called the revelation of the Creator among people.

If we were already in such a connection, we would be able to discuss the next level of our development, an existence that is not within the body, but outside the body, within our common collective intelligence and desire. Then we would traverse our present egoistic and personal perception of reality and become a single being of the one upper world.

We can do this in our world in our day, and we must attain this either against our will or consciously. Now the wisdom of Kabbalah is emerging, explaining to us that we must try to attain this state consciously, otherwise we will endure great turmoil.
