The system of Adam HaRishon (First Man) consisted of one desire which later was broken and divided into 600,000 pieces, like a puzzle. All of these parts are now separated by various obstacles in that they do not feel their connection and do not want to be connected. They hate and repel one another. We can see this from people’s behavior in this world.

We have to correct this disconnection and become connected. First we study our breakage, and after that we study the opposite, connection. We begin to get to know the Creator and His actions from comparing these two actions.  This is called “knowing the Creator through His actions.” As a result of our study, we elevate ourselves to the level of the Creator. We understand the thought of the creation, its purpose, and everything from the beginning to the end. We elevate ourselves higher than the creation.

The entire creation, everything that has happened to it and will happen, exists within this square, this puzzle. If we know how to match the parts of this puzzle, how to connect them together, we come to know everything about the creation and the Creator who created it. All we have to do is to put this puzzle together.

When we come to a convention, we find ourselves in the company of people who are strangers whom we have never seen before. We don’t feel and don’t understand each other, but this is not important. If I know that I must connect with others in order to connect to the Creator, then I can enter any group.

It doesn’t concern me who is sitting there, from what country they come, or even what language they speak. The main thing for me is to participate emotionally and internally in this circle.

It is not important to me if we are speaking the same language and we know each other well, if we are close friends or seeing each other for the first time. This doesn’t change anything. The main thing is to rise above our ego and to want to be integrated into their circle in order to attain unity and through it, to let the Creator hear what we want.

So the rules of conduct in a group or at the time of a workshop are as follows:

1. Nobody thinks about himself. There is no me!
2. Everyone must feel that the rest of the friends are greater than himself (I < 9). In everything, the friends are higher than I am and I disappear in them as the smallest.
3. Connection above all of our particular, personal characteristics is the Kli (vessel) in which the Creator is discovered. For the Creator (Bore) is “Come and See” (Bo Re); this means that we reach this state and find the Creator there. So our Kli is equal to the Creator. To the degree of the intensity of the Kli, its power (Bo), I can discover the Creator (Re). There is no measurement of the Creator. We don’t know His true measurements. But we discover Him according to how much we have prepared our Kli (Bo): to this degree we see Him (Re).
4. At the time of the workshop nobody disagrees with the opinion of another. There are no questions: Each one only adds (10 = 1 + 1 + 1 …). What is important is the pluses and not the ones. The one whose turn is next only adds to the previous one, and nobody argues.

Even if I haven’t succeeded in rising above my critical attitude and it seems to me that someone else said something wrong, I must immediately correct myself. If I hear that a friend said something wrong, this means that I am not okay.

So everyone only adds and adds to what was said by the others. Someone can give some kind of conjecture, I continue, and then comes the next one in turn. So we constantly add. There are no great or small in our connection, all are equal.

It doesn’t matter what kind of seniority one has in a group, young or old, or more or less understanding. Among all of our physical characteristics in this world there is nothing that can violate our equality. In the spiritual world, all of us are equal, like children to their mother.

One must not think that our connection only makes it possible to pass the time pleasantly, or even think that this is an unnecessary burden.

We know that the first one was created by a vessel filled with one Light. However, in such a form, the creature (1) doesn’t feel what fills it (2) it feels itself and its life, but not the source of life, meaning it exists only on the level of the still.

So that the creature will reach a state where it perceives the higher power that created it and become like it, eternal and whole, it needs to receive the same characteristic, the same nature as the higher power.

How is it possible to do this? The higher power is absolute bestowal, and the lower power, the creature, is the power of reception. It follows that it is necessary to raise the creature that is only made up of a desire to receive, “created as something from nothing” and who doesn’t think about anything besides being filled, to the level of the higher power, the nature of the Creator.

So the creature was shattered into a multitude of fragments, let’s say seven billion people, as much as there are in all of humanity. And they are all distant and separated from each other due to the egoistic power found in them. This ego is opposite to the power of Light, meaning that it is equal to the minus of the power. Rejection between us is the opposite of the Creator. So if all of us connect together, the Creator is discovered in our characteristics that have transformed to become like Him.

So the Creator (Bore) is called, “come and see” (Bo Re), meaning, come to such a state within which you will see Him in your corrected feelings and characteristics.

So we were born after the shattering of the soul, which is explained as the transgression of the first man with the Tree of Knowledge. And all of our correction is through the transformation of hatred to love. Hatred is our power of separation (Delta). If we turn it into the opposite emotion, we discover that we are on the level of the Creator.

This is an eternal and perfect level that we must attain, and we reach this only through actual connection.

Question: Where does the sixth sense exist? Is it also within me?

Answer: The sixth sense does not exist within us, but in the center of the group. A group is called an assembly of people who are ready to renounce their egoism for the sake of uniting with one another in the center of the group and there reveal the common sensation and common mind.

This common sensation and mind revealed in the center of the group is called a spiritual vessel where the Creator is manifested. This is our spiritual level, the upper non-corporeal life.

Even when the body dies, we will not feel as dead because we have found life within the common upper system.

Question: What should we do to get what you want to give us in this convention?

Answer: Even in regular science, which we learn in school or in a university, a student always needs to stick to the teacher. Although there are others, you have to choose one whose advice you will follow. Then you will succeed.

This is how we learn in our world. When we speak about someone, we mention that he learned with some well-known scientist, some academician. For this says that he continues his way.

If we don’t learn with anyone, we remain beasts. But at least instinctively beasts can protect themselves, whereas a human infant cannot survive alone. We have to teach him everything. But even this is nothing compared to the spiritual path, where we have nobody from whom to take an example, for we don’t see them. We don’t know how to take steps and what is right and what is not.

They confuse us all the time and we are forced to clarify all of the feelings that pass though our hearts and the thoughts that pop up in our minds. There is no internal system in us that could advise us exactly what must be done, what is good and what is bad.

So we advance only when we become a fetus in the next level, like a drop of semen that enters the uterus and begins to develop there. And all that happens to it is derived from the upper, from the mother, who develops this drop of semen.

That is also how it is on the spiritual path: The student has to enter into the higher level, meaning into the teacher, and to disappear there by getting everything from him. He will grow in this way only, this is a compulsory condition.

Section eleven of The Study of the Ten Sefirot talks about the growth of each soul. There is no other possibility for growth besides nullifying yourself in regard to the upper one, meaning that you accept his conditions with your eyes shut and follow him. Many articles have been written about this. So a person must nullify himself towards the group and along with this nullify himself towards the teacher: regarding his way, regarding his advice. There is no other possibility.

That is how it happens with every creature born on the still, vegetative, and animate levels in our world, and according to the same principle the birth of the spiritual levels happens. We learn from the example of the animate level and behave accordingly on the level of the human soul.

In the beginning one great vessel was created by means of the four phases of the Direct Light, called the world of Infinity. And then this world began to extend downward, up to our world.

First of all, the world of Adam Kadmon appeared from the world of Infinity, and after it the world of Nekudim was created, which disappeared, shattered.

After this shattering the worlds of ABYA (Atzilut, Beria, Yetzira, Assiya) were created and from them a particular internal system was born called Adam HaRishon (The First Man). The systems of the worlds can be learned from the first 15 sections of the book The Study of the Ten Sefirot (TES), and only its last, 16^th section talks about Adam HaRishon in a very limited form.

The idea is that everything that happens with the system of the worlds that extend from above to downward, afterwards happens with Adam HaRishon as well. The upper system is called the system of the worlds and the inner part is called Adam, a human being or Neshama (soul).

The system of Adam HaRishon also evolves from above downward and is shattered like the world of Nekudim. But we ourselves have to carry out the correction of this entire system since this is our work.

The external system of worlds is already prepared, it exists and influences us, whereas we have to correct the internal system.

We have no other way to turn to the upper force that depicts all of creation, all of reality to us, except for speaking to Him through the center of the group. I cannot turn to Him by myself and my appeal doesn’t reach Him. We see that people have been crying out to the Creator for ages, praying to Him, but no matter what they request, it leads to nothing; there is no answer and no response.

The Creator doesn’t answer since we don’t speak to Him correctly. The Creator is a fixed rigid system, the unchanging law of nature. It is like the laws of this world. Everyone understands that we can cry and complain if we fall from the tenth floor, but these tears won’t help since a person will still fall down and crash.

The same thing happens with the Creator. We try to attribute human frailties to Him, hoping that He will forgive us, have mercy on us, show His generosity, just like a person who wants to seem nice and polite, but this cannot be! The Creator is the general law of nature and nature knows no mercy.

If we don’t know how to relate to nature, to the Creator, nothing will help us; this is the way it has been so far. Kabbalah, however, teaches us exactly how we should act. Then we can know how to manage in the framework of these laws and how to use them.

So you shouldn’t feel sorry for yourselves and for the friends, but rather should understand that we intend to keep the general law and use it correctly. But in order to do that, we have to adapt ourselves to this law first. No matter if we want to or not, we will still be bent so that we will want to.

Question: How does one keep the unity in a group if we are far from each other, scattered all over the country?

Answer: Now, we are in a transition period, in a stage of building our system, and we still don’t know how to organize it correctly. No historical parallels exist for this; along with you, we are the first, the pioneers.

Each time some new possibility is discovered, we grasp it and realize it. But nobody knows what will happen tomorrow because we depend upon tens of thousands of our friends, each of whom has free choice.

While we are all linked with each other, each one has free choice, and in this manner, we become such a complicated and complex system that it is impossible to predict how it will behave tomorrow.

I know how to advance correctly, which principles must be maintained, and also I hope to understand what must be done in every moment that comes. But all the stages through which we pass are completely new, and I myself have not gone through them. I have gone through stages on my own personal spiritual path, but not through the path of an integral group, or of humanity, or a mini-humanity, this being our group.

So I don’t know how to build a group like this where all of its members are scattered over a large area, as in France, for example. It is necessary to try to do this according to the current existing technology. Once a month or once every two months it is worthwhile to gather in some single place, and all the rest of the time to be in contact with each other.

It is necessary to work together on some single project that will connect us and build our relationship. Certainly there is a difference if we are in a physical connection or not. It is not by chance that we are living in this world of physical bodies. Connection between bodies is the foundation for the birth of a new life. So when we gather together in conventions, a connection is created between us that is used as the foundation for spiritual development.

But after the gathering, each one can organize part of our general work for himself in the place he is in and move forward. We need to build a group and advance just like that. I am sure that with time additional opportunities will be revealed to us. If we overcome physical distance, then we will benefit very much and will immediately begin to feel a spiritual connection between us. It is necessary to relate to this only with complete seriousness.

In the meantime, I cannot say more than this. I will be happy to pass through all the stages of this way with you, but no person in the world has yet had experience with this. Even if Rabbi Shimon, the author of the Book of Zohar, or Baal HaSulam were in my place, they also would not know this. What has not been revealed practically on the lower level, no one can know, since this depends upon people’s free choice.

On May 1-3, about 60 kilometers from Tallinn, in a wonderful place called Yaneda, a convention about the method of integral education and information, the wisdom of connection, was held that gathered 120 people from 12 nations. 

Russians were unusually in the minority, which is unusual for them; mainly groups from Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, and Finland gathered, and representatives also arrived from Norway, Germany, England, and even Italy. The participants all had different experiences of the method of integral education, in different languages, with different temperaments and needs, but all were of the same opinion: The three days went by like three hours in which everyone lived three lives.

Historically, the wisdom of Kabbalah begins in ancient Babel where all of humanity encountered a new state. Before that, people lived a simple life which everyone understood. Everyone wanted to succeed and they somehow got along with one another. Suddenly, however, they felt how much they hated one another and could not get along.

Conflicts broke out and their pride grew so much that allegorically this period is described as a time when people wanted to build a tower to reach the heavens. It was a very dangerous situation, a real civil war, an internal war.

Many people tried to resolve this sate and many wise men at the time realized the reason for the crisis. The reason was that all of humanity was in one place and people were tightly connected to one another; the integral system was revealed among them, but their relationships were not good.

They had two choices: either to improve the connections between them, which means to correct themselves, or to draw away from one another and break the connections. If a connection is bad and cannot be corrected, then they have to separate.

Thus, two schools were formed: At the head of one was Abraham who said that human nature must be corrected and people should connect by love, understanding, brotherhood, and closeness. At the head of the second school was Nimrod who spoke about drawing away from one another, like a couple that is getting divorced today since they cannot get along.

Humanity followed Nimrod, decided to separate, and dispersed all over the world. This state continued until the end of the 20^th century when the same state people felt in ancient Babel is recurring. Once again we find ourselves connected, not in one small place but all over the globe.

Now we cannot resolve the conflict by using Nimrod’s method of drawing further away from one another. There is nowhere we can draw away to because the integral connection is fully revealed among everyone. There is no choice now but to follow Abraham’s method, which means to correct the relations between us by correcting man’s nature.

This is the state we are in today. This is why Abraham’s method, called the wisdom of Kabbalah is revealed today, which explains how to correct our nature so that the connections between us will be good.
