In the program placed into a person by the Creator, there is a huge part called “mistakes of the past,” meaning the area of sensory, social, personal, and family successes and failures. Can you imagine what is uploaded into a person?! It is world that a child does not have, an enormous part of the universe in which an adult exists.

It is impossible to give a person such an injection that he immediately, like in a science fiction movie, “Oh-oh-oh!” and that’s it, he is already in the upper world. It does not exist.

He needs to get through it all, store it in himself, make an upgrade, and reload everything. He must live through all these states, feel the opposites, try to do it himself without the Creator or with the Creator, with a certain environment or without them, stumble, get up, and so on. At every step, at every given one. And out of these billions of steps, an opportunity is created in a person—only an opportunity!—to start feeling another state, another universe.

He enters into this feeling gradually; a feeling is revealed that did not exist before! It exists here and in another dimension. And now this dimension is being revealed! In order for it to begin to open up, I need to create in myself huge internal reserves, opportunities, sensations, accumulations of all kinds of thoughts and feelings.

In such a way I begin to enter into a perception of new connections, a new world. I see it in a completely different way. I see its opposite side, where it is controlled from, and how it all works. My world becomes small, I am entering into the management system, and it is becoming important. And this whole world and all these animate, small, instinctive interactions of ours just lose their importance.

My animalistic body remains in connection with the others, temporarily, for the time being, in order to contact the others through it and help them also enter into this new universe, into this dimension. And as soon as we all break away from this field, on which we graze like small animals, and enter with our sensations into a new state, into a new dimension, the material world simply disappears.

It does not exist even now, like everything else, because it exists only in our consciousness, which rises completely to the next level. And along with the area of new human relationships, our animate, vegetative, and inanimate sensations also rise, meaning our whole world.

But it is impossible to do it at once, like some kind of injection and a person is already in the next dimension. The program needs to enter into us gradually and be adapted by us. We must accept it, feel it, unite with it, and feel as we are it as one whole.

This requires consecutive, voluntary implantation into this program because it is against our egoistic nature. This is what our work consists of.

Michael Laitman, On Quora: “How do I teach my children to embrace failure?“

Suppose we encounter failure. Michael’s group played against Oren’s group, and we lost. We then sit and talk about it, understanding that we were weak and we lost, without crying about it. We might feel some pain or cry internally, but we try to understand why we lost. It is quite complicated and it takes time.

At first, there might be shouting, yelling and blaming, but later on, we reach a state where we lost, and now what? Do we throw it away or do we continue? In such a juncture, we need to learn and absorb examples from those who have succeeded and dealt with failure, and there are several movies and books on such a topic. Those who reach success have undergone major crises, become disappointed, faced exploitation and whatnot.

We then decide that we now want to learn from our failure, and seek how we can overcome such a state. At this point, we learn what was wrong, what we should correct, how to correct ourselves, and how to study our opponent. And if we discuss such a phenomenon in terms of our inner traits, then we each learn about our egoistic nature that is ultimately behind all failure and loss, and in so doing, we prepare ourselves for our next battle.

Question: Well-known psychologist Mikhail Labkovsky shares that shame is a discreet emotion, an emotion that a person tries to hide, and therefore it is toxic and harmful. He  gives the analogy of shame as a potted plant that given the constant feeding and fertilizing and resources a person gives it (the shame), it grows into a huge tree. He advises that you need to work with shame or it will consume your entire personality.

How can a person work with it?

Answer: Only the relationship between a person as a flower with other flowers, with other people, in mutual restriction, in mutual assistance, etc. will help everyone organically develop and collect a good flower bed.

Question: Where is the place for shame here?

Answer: It is inside between them. There is shame, pride, joy, sadness, and everything else.

Question: Should I relate to it somehow? What should I do with shame?

Answer: Manage it! If there were no shame, who would we be? We would be animals.

Shame is what distinguishes man from an animal. This is the difference between these two degrees. If I am not ashamed, then I am like an animal. It does not matter why and how.

Shame is from the fact that I am not like him, not so smart, etc. Shame is what keeps me from losing at least the degree I am at.

Question: Do I need to nourish it?

Answer: It is absolutely necessary. It is imperative to make sure that shame corresponds to the degree I want to rise to each time or it will not hold me.

Question: So, it turns out that it is shame that pushes me to this degree?

Answer: Yes, it is a restraining force and a pushing force. It restrains from falling and pushes to rise.

Question: Why do psychologists usually say don’t nourish it, crush it?

Answer: I don’t know. For them, there are qualities in nature that they consider negative. And for me, there are no negative qualities; they are all positive, and everything must be used correctly.

Question: So the correct sentence here would be, “We need to properly use this shame that exists”?

Answer: Of course!

Question: And to know that it is a positive quality?

Answer: Yes. I asked about it and talked about it a lot with my teacher Rabash. And he said that shame is a special creation of the Creator. A special invention of the Creator to make people ashamed. This is like an indicator for them that they are moving away from their path.

You imagine you have a compass guiding you to a goal that you cannot see, which is far away, and you are in the dark, in bad weather. How do you advance? Shame keeps you in place, you can always direct yourself to the Creator, and shame will help you in this. Neither to the right nor to the left, it will hold you.

Look at how a person even in our ordinary world can be so egoistic, pragmatic, rude, and so on. They are still trying to keep themselves relative to each other in some decent condition. It is a shame! Moreover, it is at every degree, at every moment. That is what keeps us going.

Can you imagine how different we are from animals! They have this state disabled altogether. They only act according to what makes them feel better at every moment. And we have another system enabled: how I behave and how I show myself to the outside.

And that is what sets us apart. This is what we call a human in us. Shame is what molds a person from an animal.

Comment: Nice, you have created such a monument to shame.

My Response: Therefore, we must use this in schools and in education to tell, explain, show, and psychologically develop a sense of shame in humanity.

There is none of this. On the contrary, the more shameless I am, I can brag about it, flaunt it, and it will be considered that I am special.

This is the difference between an intelligent upbringing, the correct approach to life, to the world, to people, and such a purely open, egoistic one.

Comment: We know that empathy is the ability to feel the world of another as our own. We are literally capable of feeling someone else’s pain. Psychologists claim that if we experience empathic pain for a long time, we often become emotionally exhausted.

This happens to firefighters, those who work in emergency services, etc. They say through empathy we come to feel the pain of someone else. However, we also feel the pain of someone else through compassion, but in that case, we can handle it. That is because compassion comes with love. That’s the whole difference between the two.

My Response: Correct.

Comment: The official definition of empathy is the ability to identify with the emotions of another, but compassion is defined as sympathy for the suffering of another.

My Response: It is like stepping into the world of another and feeling his experience.

Question: How can we facilitate this within ourselves? As I understand if that feeling was fostered, we would live as though in a different world.

Answer: Yes, we would nurture it. I think that it is possible. We are just not involved in this process. Generally, people at the age of 13 – 14 can fully resonate with another person’s suffering. And they would then need to be further educated on it.

Comment: That, of course, would drastically change the world.

My Response: Of course, no doubt about it.

Question: So, is it possible to nurture compassion in a person?

Answer: The understanding of compassion for others can be taught so a person may understand how to handle it. So much so that through this compassion for another, he may share another’s suffering by taking it partially upon himself and in this way neutralize their suffering.

The fact that you neutralize it by engaging with him, sympathizing, and being compassionate, you gradually break up his suffering into a number of smaller parts and by doing so, bring him relief. Similarly, you can bring the whole world into balance and to an inner-state-of-being you can call blissfulness.

Question: So, shared compassion among all the people on earth will lead to a state of blissfulness in the world?

Answer: Yes. That’s exactly what we have to achieve in our connection. Otherwise, we have some very serious problems ahead of us. This is because the ego continues to grow and the upper light is revealed in relation to the ego even more. Meaning, we are going to feel greater pressure in relation to our ego such that if we don’t find a way to unite and share all of that among ourselves, we won’t be able to tolerate it.

Question: Is compassion essentially the basis of what you mention all the time: unity, connection, positive thoughts, and good connections?

Answer: Yes. Practically speaking, it’s not even compassion. It is the division of all the huge suffering, the opposites of a huge desire and a huge light that should fill this desire, and the absence of an intention “not for yourself” that allows you to fill the desire with light.

Question: So it can only be filled if my intention is for the sake of others?

Answer: Yes. This is why we need this balance here. All this can only be realized if we learn to be compassionate, to divide the difference between absolute fulfillment and absolute emptiness amongst every person.

Obviously, nobody will be worse off in this case. But if we want to divide it this way, the difference itself will disappear. That is the whole point of this remarkable quality of unification.

Question: And at this point, is it correct to say that the state of blissfulness will come?

Answer: Yes. Then this feeling of the contradiction, impossibility, and an inner cry turns into a quenching, into something beyond corporeal, into pleasure. At that point, there is no difference between great pain and great pleasure. There they connect.

Question: And what does the pain become in this case?

Answer: Pleasure, because you have balanced them out.

Question: That is very elevated.

Answer: That’s how it works at a higher level.

Question: Is the pain given to us to turn it into pleasure?

Answer: Yes, of course.

Question: And the greatest pain, as a result, turns out to be the greatest pleasure?

Answer: Yes. If you know how to balance these opposites, you get pleasure.

Therefore Americans more or less agree that they have inequality because this inequality depends on them. No one dictates to another in any way.

Question: Is it a good principle, “do yourself by yourself”?

Answer: Of course. A person should study; he invests in society and wants to be respected. He proves to everyone that he is essential, needed, suitable, and so on.

And therefore when they create some mechanism or device, or make scientific discoveries, and so on, all this is then reflected in the result. That is, the level of connections determines everything.

Humanity has already passed through various social formations in the process of its development: capitalism, socialism, etc. It has yet to come to the state of the modern world where it is clear to everyone that some more developed form of society is needed, but it is unclear where to go further and how.

We have stopped at a point where even with all the technological progress, we will not be able to live better because our egoistic relationships will poison our whole life. We have reached the red line where it is becoming obvious that the current form of interpersonal communication within society does not correspond at all to the high level of technology, culture, and education.

Therefore, internal pressure is growing within society itself, and it requires change. We see that in all countries of the world, in varying degrees, there is an urgent need to change relations between people because they contradict the form of our life, communication, and technological stage of development.

You need to understand that the next change will not happen at the expense of wars; they will not help. We have already seen this with the example of the last war. It is necessary to change people, not some external framework around them. If we do not change the person himself, then we have no hope for a peaceful and happy life.

If a person remains egoistic, he will be able to work only under coercion. Therefore, the only way out is to give each person a sense of his connection with the purpose of society and belonging so that he feels like an inseparable part of his country and people.

A person should receive inner, spiritual fulfillment from his work, that is, satisfaction from his connection with everyone and from the fact that he receives a reward from above and not a material reward in his egoism. He will feel that this raises him closer to the Creator and gives him spiritual fulfillment.

This is possible only through proper education. This is the main problem of the world. Everyone will have to sit down at their desks and study again, not just listen to the teacher, but practically implement this science of connection among themselves.

Integral education is a system of knowledge, skills, and exercises that form connections between people in accordance with the upper governing structure, which, like a network, begins to unfold in our world. Our incongruity with this network manifests itself in us as all kinds of crises, from small, private, to universal, global, and including everything within itself.

Integral education should cover all people from above and from below and from the middle of society starting with the elderly and ending with children.

This education should consist of telling people how the world works on a simple level so that they can understand everything; i.e., our world is global, integrated, and manifests itself more and more clearly as one connected system. If the connection between us does not correspond to it, then no matter what we build atop this false connection, which manifests itself by nature, we will always be doomed to failure, bankruptcy, or crisis.

This must be clearly shown to a person. His relations with his household, work colleagues, and with society, and the relations of the whole society, the people, between nations, and the connection of the entire human system with the environment, all this should be global, closed, integral, and unified. This is required of us by nature, which is now manifested in this form and it is the last stage of our development, the rise to the next degree.

Physicists, psychologists, sociologists, and many scientists talk about this, so it’s already very obvious. Therefore, we need to develop a system of integral education and try to implement it wherever possible, and show people how useful it is, that it saves resources, time, health, and improves relationships between people, our way of life, and so on.

Integral education is a practical technique that should be introduced everywhere. Whoever enters it will only win.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for us to get used to this, because our egoistic society is a society of personal gain.

The officials who are in power want to stay there as long as possible, get as much as possible, and then “after us, even a flood.” Therefore, they slow down the process from above. Meanwhile from below, the lack of money and illiteracy slows it down.

It is impossible to get close to children because they are under the auspices of the Ministry of Education with officials who sit and do not want to explore anything. The same is true in all international organizations, including the UN and UNESCO, which prove that there are people everywhere who are only interested in their need to “live and fare and make good.”

That’s the way the world works and I don’t blame the people who are there. This is one egoistic system that has been developing for hundreds of thousands of years. So there will be serious upheavals before people see the light.

Question: In our world, we produce some products, for example, phones or appliances, and everyone use them. Why do we not have the same attitude to Kabbalah that it is the “production” of some kind of force and we are using it? Will there be any inclination toward Kabbalah?

Answer: There will undoubtedly be an inclination but only when everyone understands that Kabbalah is talking about earthly, normal things, and not about mysticism. It also took me a long time until I was able to adapt everything to simple, earthly things.

But people always want to go to a different area and “swim” there since it is very difficult to apply Kabbalistic principles on earth because you have to work on yourself. It is better to “fly away” somewhere to the field of fortune-telling, predictions, and so on.

The time will come when Kabbalah will rebuild its language. This will be integral education. Thus, we will offer this system to the world, and it will accept it and become better and safer. Otherwise, it will not get out of the crisis. This is why we have to work on this.
