Answer: It is our egoism, which is known to each of us when a person loves himself indefinitely, unconsciously, groundlessly, because such is the force of nature. It subconsciously exists in us.

Question: But at the same time I enjoy at the expense of others?

Answer: Not necessarily at the expense of others. Simply love for dear ourselves—it is our ego.
