Humility (hachnaa) allows us to establish contact with the Creator and then start developing it in all directions in order to attain full revelation of the Creator and adhesion with Him.
Humility is the first condition of making contact with the field of upper light in which we exist, unknowingly to ourselves.

If fear arises, I must realize that it comes from the Creator in order to understand that fear has been given to affirm that “There is none else besides Him.”
And if the fear does not pass, I must achieve the same fear of “not reaching the revelation of the Creator.”
To feel the fear before the Creator, as I do now.

Efforts to stay in the Creator’s rule over everything that happens, despite the feeling of evil in the ruling, lead to reward. But if one’s efforts don’t keep him in the Creator ruling everything with kindness, he receives punishment in the form of concealment of the Creator.

Honors limit and thus harm the development of the soul. Therefore, respect for the righteous is a punishment.
If the Creator does not want the righteous to descend spiritually, He does not allow him to receive honors.
Therefore, in the measure of honor, he is scolded and humiliated, so that honor and humiliation are balanced.

Reward/punishment of the Creator is manifested in His revelation/concealment. If a person feels evil, to this extent he remains in the concealment of the Creator who causes this evil. This is the punishment.
Meaning that the feeling of good/evil in the governance of the Creator creates the feeling of reward/punishment in us.

Concealment is evident when the Creator is hidden from me behind my ten (the group). If a person believes in it, and thanks the Creator for the opportunity to reveal Him, being concealed in a group, these efforts (search) give rise to the necessary thoughts and feelings—and lead to the revelation of the Creator.

The Creator is the root cause of everything. Therefore, every thought originates from Him, in the brain of any creature, that controls him and is perceived as his own. And all our work consists of revealing the Creator—the Source of our thoughts and attainments of Him through the thoughts that He sends—the control signals.

All sensations related to the Creator are corrections and nearing closeness with Him. (Rabash 3, “All The Corrections”)
Perception of evil causes lack of faith in the absolute control of the Creator. So He becomes concealed as the source of all actions.
This is the greatest punishment in the world. (Zohar, 138)

If a person wants to follow the path of unity/bestowal rather than reception/egoism, his main fault is in failing to ask the Creator for help to conquer the ego. And so he asks for forgiveness for failing to seek help. Then he proceeds to ask the Creator for help!

The Times of Israel published my new article “House Resolution Against Anti-Semitism, Hatred: A Band-Aid Solution”

Anti-Semitism has become a problem on different levels in America. Repeated anti-Semitic tropes by Rep. Ilhan Omar, suggesting American Jews’ dual-loyalty to Israel and the US, prompted the US House resolution that denounces anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry. However, it will be a finger-in-the-dike fix until the Jewish people realize what is in our ability to do: to treat the core of the problem—a lack of unity among the Jewish people—and implement its solution—a method that can unite us above our differences, enabling the world at large to follow suit.

As I expressed in my previous article, “Anti-Semitism in Mainstream American Politics,” there is no fine line between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. Criticism against Israel is the new façade masking Jew hatred. Rep. Omar’s recent insinuation that Israel demands “allegiance” from American lawmakers is another link in a chain of accusations suggesting Jewish money is pulling the strings behind US politics, and that Israel has “hypnotized the world.”

How should we respond when we’re increasingly blamed for all kinds of problems in the world?

From Abraham’s Tent to the US House

The House resolution, which passed after an intense partisan debate, states that “accusing Jews of being more loyal to Israel or to the Jewish community than to the United States constitutes anti-Semitism because it suggests that Jewish citizens cannot be patriotic Americans and trusted neighbors.” It also condemns “anti-Semitism” and “anti-Muslim discrimination and bigotry against minorities.”

The problem with such statements is that they are useless and will fail to prevent any future flaring of hatred since they fail to address the root of the hatred. Moreover, such a resolution also lacks a model that can be followed in order to transform society into a place of acceptance and harmony. In short, there needs to be an accurate diagnosis of the root of anti-Semitism, and a realization of the method to solve it.

Where can we find such a diagnosis and method?

In ancient Babylon, a group gathered under Abraham’s tent to rise above their egoism, i.e. self concern on account of others. They build the foundation of the Jewish nation by studying and implementing a method of connection upon themselves, bringing them to the attainment of unity above the egoistic division piercing society.

This nation also became the first and only nation in history built solely on the basis of love of others, instead of geographical proximity or biological affinity. This remains the uniqueness of the Jewish nation till today: a critical mass of people from all walks of life who attained and lived by unifying themselves above all forms of egoism and division that surfaced.

That is the kind of role model the world needs. Moreover, the world expects such an example from the Jewish people: world leaders, societies and nations, and literally every person on the planet, has a subconscious expectation on the Jewish people to bring a positive example of uniting above egoism.

Anti-Semitism is the world’s way of telling us to unite above our differences, to become a replicable model of unity for the world to follow, bringing about a peaceful and harmonious existence above hatred, bigotry and division. In the words of the sage King Solomon, “Hate stirs strife, and love covers all crimes” (Prov 10:12).

Today, we’re out of options. We live in a time of rapidly mounting pressure against Jews worldwide, and we can succeed only with the aid of a method that unites us over hatred. Otherwise, we will suffer the consequences of the increasing hatred swallowing us. The method of connection is our Jewish heritage, and it is our duty to bequeath it onto humanity. It is our role and the purpose of our existence as a people. Its implementation is our safety net, our insurance for a pleasant life and for the world’s embrace.

Question: Does it make sense not to ask the Creator, but simply to thank Him? Or is just the request needed?

Answer: Our appeal to the Creator consists of two parts: from a request and from gratitude. It is best to begin with gratitude because it prepares us for the right attitude with the higher power. And then comes the request.

Question: How do we give thanks correctly?

Answer: Do it from the heart. Give thanks the way you feel it. There are no canons or rules. The desire is in the heart.

When you begin to value the Creator’s attitude, you will see that He manifests humility: “Wherever you reveal the greatness of the Creator, you reveal His #humility.” There’s nothing greater than humility—it is a reaction to the Ohr Makif of the Creator, the highest degree, that the upper one rules with love, subjugates before you like a baby.

By humbling myself, when I’m criticized on all sides, I subdue my ego and make space for the Creator, letting Him rule. Humbling, unlike conceding, is seeing the opportunity to subjugate yourself and doing so joyfully, allowing for extra space for the Creator.

Over the last 200 years the standard of living was determined by the growth in labor production. Today, however, regardless of the path the world leaders are choosing, all lead to cataclysms, as there are no more growth stimuli. Egoism has collapsed!
The next stage must be an altruistic growth.

Gradually, it becomes clear to the members of our group that our way of life is necessary for all of humanity. There is no predetermined number of years of study, but the fulfillment of your life with the states of constant advancement of your personal revelations.

Everything that exists, good and evil, has the right to exist, is forbidden to be destroyed, and is intended only to be corrected for the good and to reveal the perfection of the Creator. Therefore beware of even saying that something is unnecessary.

If any part of the world is not running perfectly, it is a sign that there is a fault in me. The end of correction should be implemented in practice in the world we are living in now. Intentions to bestow, proper distribution, good relations—all this must be realized here. Everyone will be concerned with fulfilling everyone else. This will become their work, their biggest desire. The intention must be united with the action. Love will guide a person and will compel one’s desire to become like the desire of the Creator.

This is hard to believe, but it will happen. According to the program of creation, the upper Light must descend through all the worlds to the lowest point and turn the entire creation into the world of infinity. Not a single part can be left uncorrected and not turned into bestowal. As the prophets wrote: “The wolf shall dwell with the lamb…,” that is how it will be. Two opposites will peacefully coexist together.

All the spiritual worlds and the corporeal world will reach complete correction. That is, I must reach such a mutual connection with all people so that the Creator will be revealed between us, and from the unity within Israel, the connection will spread to all other nations. And from all of humanity, such a connection will extend to all animals, then to plants, and finally to the inanimate nature.

Everything will then become balanced. At the moment, every level of nature is out of balance because of the human influence. The world will reach full correction, complete harmony, where everyone fulfills everyone and becomes included in each other. It follows that even the smallest particle, a tiny insect, that is integrated within people, contains all the worlds.

The lowest point, the center of all creation, is called the point of this world, the final border of descent of all the worlds. At the end of correction, this world acquires the same amount of importance as the world of Atzilut. However, we are not talking about the imaginary corporeal forms that we see now: plants, trees, and animals. We are talking about the forces behind them, concepts. All these concepts will be elevated to the level of bestowal.

We live in an imaginary world because this is how the spiritual forces are revealed to us. Therefore, we need not correct corporeal forms, but when we correct the spiritual Kelim, this world changes, and all its parts penetrate each other, unite. In fact, the wolf will live peacefully next to the lamb, and everything will be united into one whole, one HaVaYaH.¹

Question: Why does it seem that when we start studying Kabbalah we no longer have common interests with our former friends, and our social life fades away?

Answer: When a person begins to practice Kabbalah, it is as if he breaks away from his ordinary earthly affairs. He unwittingly works, unwillingly lives in the family, and unwillingly exists because he is captivated by this science , which talks about the eternal, perfection, and the soul, and this makes a much more profound impression than one’s material life.

But gradually this sensation disappears, and he balances his perception of ordinary life with his impressions of spiritual life. This must be experienced.

Naturally, you will not have much in common with your former friends because their interests are at the level of our world, and yours are at the level of the upper world. Therefore, the group that you organize to study Kabbalah will represent the most important society for you.
