The Torah, the method of raising man to the level of the Creator, has 3 parts:
1 Weakening (Tushiya)
2 Correcting the ego (Tavlin)
3 Fulfilling—Light of Torah
1&2 -preparation for receiving Torah, correction of man’s nature
3 -Torah coming from the Creator
It says: The Creator’s face is in those who do #evil
Those wishing to follow the Creator’s path see that they always do evil, so they ask Him and do everything so He’ll help them leave evil, with His Light. “The Creator’s face is in those who do evil” in order to correct them!
#Evil is evil if that’s how one feels it
The size of evil depends on the hurdle of attaining good
If one values correction he feels evil in the hurdles of correction
Thus, one feels evil if he values spirituality
Evil begets hate for egoism—a hurdle against love for the Creator

Then a descent comes from above so one feels exile from #spirituality in egoism’s rule, &
asks for redemption.
If one can’t bestow, he suffers, wishing to give & love, and asks to be freed of egoism.

When exiting Egypt, they received intention to bestow, Light of Hassadim.
At the Red Sea, the Light of Hochma shone.
Receiving Torah below = “We will do and hear.”
The miracle is from above &Torah is from below, given to people at their request (not in the sky)

The commandment of telling about the exodus from Egypt. To awaken the root of redemption from egoism and entrance into the spiritual world. All the following degrees come from this one. This degree awakens all upper degrees. Thus, it’s enough to eat Matza only on Pesach.

Updates in man start with exit from Egypt, egoism’s/Pharaoh’s rule. Until then, he doesn’t understand what Torah talks about since he’s ruled by egoism and can’t be ruled by/understand the Creator. By coming out of Egypt, man can receive Torah & work for the Creator.

The need for Torah, the tool to correct egoism, arises when one discovers he’s an egoist and egoism is evil! Until then, he doesn’t study Torah, the method of egoism’s correction, to attain “From love of man to love of the Creator,” but knowledge –Hochma BaGoyim Taamin.

Rabash said: #Matza Shmura (guarded) indicates that one must be guarded and detach from egoism when performing spiritual acts, acts of correcting egoism. If we don’t know how to guard ourselves from #egoism, we replace the main aspect of Torah with a secondary one…!

Only redemption from exile makes the previous exile feel bitter.
Before redemption, one cannot tell how bitter exile is.
It’s because only Light gives the sensation/realization of #darkness. While there is no #Light, there is no attainment of darkness!

#Pesach teaches us to feel the exile—from unity, and redemption is the opportunity to unite. #Separation reveals the sense of exile from unity, giving rise to a desire to be free from egoism’s/Pharaoh’s rule, to gain #freedom from egoism.

We experience ascent 620 times greater than descent.
One feels descent in his personal egoism.
During ascent, when we unite, we feel the common desire for mutual bestowal, the sum of efforts/pleas to the Creator. This amplifies the sensation of ascent 620-fold.

Question: Kabbalah uses the term “screen” on the desire to receive. So a person always wants to receive something.
Is it possible to equate a concept of social responsibility or responsibility to society with the concept of a screen?
Answer: Yes. The screen is an absolutely clear anti-egoistic, anti-individualistic social orientation in a person’s actions and thoughts, i.e., actions for the sake of society in spite of egoism.

Answer: Everybody is equal in relation to unity. The higher and the lower cannot unite. They must be on the same level.
In spirituality, connection is possible only according to the extent of similarity: you to me and I to you. One time—me to you, therefore I am higher and you are lower. Another time—you to me, therefore you are higher and I am lower. As a result, we are equal.

Question: How can we educate people so they feel the importance of building social connections?
Answer: The Soviet regime attempted to educate people in this regard, but they failed. The people leading these efforts were egoists. They used the carrot and stick method in pursuit of their goals and thus, their attempts were coercive.
Education must be guided by people who correctly perceive the global system, who know how to guide people to connect, who can work on connection, see the integral nature, and understand that it is necessary to be in adhesion with it.

There is a #Pesach custom to discuss #exodus from exile and imagine that we are coming out of Egypt – egoism dividing us.
It’s because when we talk about the exile, we grow the sense of exile inside us and gather up forces for our future #redemption from it.

Remember how you were a slave in Egypt, because in spiritual ascent one must study the previous descent. In descent, one’s perception is flawed and one thinks only of improving his lot.
Only in ascent can one make use of the past descent.
Desires are made by the Creator and there are no new ones. But man’s awareness determines how much he discerns/connects them. In descent, he reveals exile, Egypt, and according to the depth of this awareness, he can attain #redemption, exodus from Egypt.

All creations must attain unity—this is the final state of evolution of the entire creation. Evolution is constantly progressing, taking us through the stages of revelation of evil.
Eventually, everyone must comprehend the advantage of Light over darkness, and after passing through all the forms of separation, desire to rise above their egoistic nature. Revelation of evil leads us to unity.
There were always some people who understood the virtue of unity, being altruistic by nature. However, in our day and age, nature is giving us practical evidence by becoming integral and tying up the whole world into a single network. Egoism is becoming global and it is connecting us all to each other. Whether we like it or not, we have to unite in order to disallow the force of separation to reign endlessly.
By studying Kabbalah, we learn that the obligation to unite comes from nature itself, from the sin of the Tree of Knowledge. The entire creation was made as one soul that was later purposely broken into many separate parts.
We don’t have a choice. We must rebuild and unite the whole creation. This is the state that both the Creator and people desire. Those who understand it are called Yashar Kel—straight to the Creator—because the upper force, the Creator, is the self-contained nature that is united, integral, and global. In order for us to achieve adhesion with the Creator, similarity of form, we have to become like Him, rise above our divisive egoism, and begin to unite.
We are not socialists or communists, nor humanitarians or biologists observing examples of unity in living organisms. Proof of the necessity to unite is presented to us by the science of Kabbalah, and we are constantly revealing the need to achieve it in our consciousness and feelings.
By nature, we are the biggest egoists because those who come to Kabbalah have the biggest desire. But along with it, we understand that we have to become similar to the upper force in order to achieve the meaning of life. That is why Abraham, from all of humanity, chose a group that became the people of Israel, whose foundation is love of others as oneself, the great law of humanity, nature, and the Torah. We have to consider ourselves a group of pioneers from all around humanity, who are trying to realize this great law of nature—the love of others—and implement it so that we can pass it on to everyone.
The responsibility of the people of Israel is to be the first to reach unity because they are called upon to realize the law of love of others and serve as an example to the rest of humanity, that is, to be “the Light unto the nations.” Philosophers and the founders of the State of Israel also spoke of unity. However, they did not take it from the science of Kabbalah, the structure of nature, but from their internal, instinctive understanding.
Kabbalah says that unity is the law of nature and that first of all it applies to the people of Israel. Baal HaSulam writes that we have received the right to return to the land of Israel, breaking from the rule of the nations of the world, only to fulfill our purpose: to realize unity and show this method to the nations of the world and become the Light unto the nations.
In anticipation of Israel’s 70th anniversary, let us hope that the people of Israel, especially those who live in the land of Israel, will understand the purpose of their existence. For if we do not realize the law of love of others as yourself so that we can serve as an example to the world, then we have no right to exist.
This is a very important point. It is the only reason for a person to live in the land of Israel. Otherwise he has no right to be called “Israel” and does not belong to the nation of Israel.
The State of Israel will have the right to exist only if we work on realizing our common responsibility to become one person with one heart, “all Israel are friends,” to the point of fulfilling the law of love of others as the basis of all existence.
