My Thoughts On Twitter, 3/26/18

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

The 2 ways to achieve the goal, pre-set by nature/the Creator:
1 Path of suffering: long
2 Path of development by the Light: fast, conscious
The only choice is between them.
Revelation of #Kabbalah is designed to change the path of #suffering to the path of Light.

-Do we, the world Kli, affect/improve the world by studying Kabbalah even though we haven’t reached the 1st degree yet?
-It is written that any good contact with #Kabbalah by anyone in the world, since we are parts of the system of Adam, has a good influence on the whole #world.

#Passover #Kabbalah
As per the evolution program, we’re on the way out of our world into the upper world. Hence, we feel the pushing action of nature. We must feel our world as an exile, in our ego,in order to realize liberation from the ego, as freedom to enter the upper world.

Just as a baby gives its parents greater delight than a grown child that operates with his mind and calculations, while a baby acts with total loyalty and dependence, so a novice Kabbalah student gives the Creator greater delight by attaining creation.

The earthly mind cannot understand the infinite space outside us, i.e., outside egoism, or see that which does not coincide with our inner program. Thus it says, “Taste and see how great the Creator is”—Taste by joining the group’s unity.

#Trump is a manager, not a politician; he’s the first big businessman at the head of a large state, so he looks like “a black sheep.” He represents a new stage in governing the country & the world. Next, we need a new ideology—unifying not purses & empty fantasies, but hearts.

-Can Kabbalah study be dangerous for the student or his family? For example, if a person studies alone?
-One must be mentally healthy, study in a group, virtual or physical, and have constant contact with everyone. Good luck and have patience!

-The point in the heart was growing, but now it’s closed—the feeling of joy is gone. Nothing helps. What do I do?
-That’s the start of 7 years of famine, forceful exile from egoism, and then entrance into the upper world. Do what pleases the Creator, not the ego!

#SpiritualWork_ML #Kabbalah
If a person strives for bestowal (Lishma) by faith above reason (contrary to the ego), then, even without reaching this rung, but only by striving for it, he delights the Creator even more than he will by his subsequent spiritual actions #spirituality

#Spiritual work in “There’s none else besides Him” runs in the sensations of insignificance, emptiness, inability to do something in body & soul. Only then do we have the opportunity without “awakening from above” to “awaken from below” to become “the Creator’s nation.”

As they will taste in the future from the Tree of Life, i.e., The Book of #Zohar, thanks to it they will come out from exile in mercy/Zohar/Naso 90. The study of The Book of Zohar is a great correction, illuminating and sanctifying the soul. /Hida/Shem ha-Gdolim

If a person strives toward #bestowal (Lishma) by faith above reason (in spite of egoism), then even without attaining this degree, but only aspiring to it, he pleases the Creator, even more than he will please Him with his subsequent spiritual actions.

Mankind thinks it knows how to develop without the upper providence. It doesn’t want to research nature’s governance, i.e., reveal the Creator, and moves from one blow to the next (Beito). We must research the Creator’s governance over #egoism as an object of research.

One who begins to study Kabbalah & is already familiar with it, has touched the knowledge & then gave up because his ego didn’t see any reward in it for himself, shows disregard for the Creator. He must realize that he is doing it under the power of his own ego.

#SpiritualWork_ML #Kabbalah
The earthly mind can’t understand the endless space outside of us, i.e., beyond the ego, to see what doesn’t agree with our internal program. Therefore, it is written: “Taste & see how beautiful the Creator is.” To taste is to be plugged into the group.

#SpiritualWork_ML #Kabbalah
People don’t understand how they harm themselves by rejecting Kabbalah. After all, the Creator created creation, the worlds & the soul to raise them to His rung. Disregarding this system & conditions prepared from above cancels what He created for us.

The #Malchut of the world of Infinity decides to become like #Keter, so it restricts itself to fulfill not the desire to enjoy but to bestow. Doing so is called a screen. A thought is called Ohr Hozer/reflected Light. After, decisions are made solely by the screen.

#Trump consistently limits movement of people, goods, services, capital in the world. These freedoms form inequalities among countries for the benefit of the world elite. But when the #world enters overproduction #crisis, Trump’s actions lead to detente. #POTUS

We appreciate the state of strength, feelings, joy. But we receive this from the #Light. When the light disappears, the Creator demands effort from us & that we ask Him to govern us—then we are given the opportunity to become the nation chosen by the Creator.

#Spiritualwork_ML #Kabbalah
There is no greater pleasure for the Creator from the creations of our world than when they are engaged in the #wisdom of Kabbalah. And what is more, man was created only to study the wisdom of Kabbalah (H.Vital, Introduction to the Gates of Forewords)

#SpiritualWork_ML #Kabbalah
There are many fools who run away from studying The Book of Zohar, which contains our life. And if the nation listened to me, it would engage in The Book of Zohar daily and so cancel calamities, draw the light & abundance (Nozar, Hesed, ch. 4, Mishnah 20)

Connecting Through Our Differences

laitman_212Success depends on one’s connection to the group, since the environment provides us with many inner discernments that we no longer need to experience on our own. This is because we each include everyone within us, and if I am connected to ten other friends, I absorb all the personal states of each friend. Thus, I advance.

Our connection not only saves us time, without it I will never achieve spiritual birth. Starting with a single drop of semen, the growth of the body occurs through the multiplying of cells and their connection with each other. We call this development or growth. Everything depends on the connections between us.

It is good that we all are different, perceiving, understanding, and reacting differently. This gives us an opportunity to be included in one another above all the differences, thereby forming an integral vessel—the common desire, which is organized in a very complex, multilayered way, ready to receive the upper Light. After all, the revelation of the Creator cannot occur in one individual desire: it is too primitive, one-dimensional, and flat.

Therefore, we connect many different, opposite qualities together. From this diversity of connections and interconnected qualities (which wish to preserve their uniqueness while also being connected regardless of their differences), we create a complex spiritual vessel worthy of revealing the Creator.

This is why our connection to each other is so important; this connection is what builds the spiritual vessel (Kli). The Creator, the upper Light, fills all space. The problem is only in how to come to similarity to the Light from our egoistic desire, and how to accept it according to the similarity of our qualities.

This is achieved precisely through the multitude of contradicting qualities that, despite all differences, are connected to each other with one common goal: to reveal the Creator within our connection. Our connection to each other is called “the Creator” (Bore), which means “come and see” (Bo-Re).

Therefore, we should value the preparation that nature created, that is, the breaking of the common soul and the possibility of uniting different desires for the sake of one goal: the revelation of the Creator. Our unity allows us to create the form of connection that will be called the Creator.

Answers To Your Questions, Part 221

laitman_565.01Question: What is a soul?

Answer: A soul is a desire that is similar to the Creator, meaning a desire with an intention of bestowal and love. A soul doesn’t exist in anyone; a soul exists only when we create it from our egoism.

Question: Recently a desire has arisen in me to pray only for the purpose of thanksgiving by means of reading Psalms; “My soul, bless the Lord” (Psalms 104:1) and “My soul, praise the Lord!” (Psalms 146:1) is all I can say in prayer. Is this correct?

Answer: Look at the Psalms I shortened on my Twitter.

New Life 959 – The Experience Of Life In Israel

New Life 959 – The Experience Of Life In Israel
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

The people of Israel have a fire burning within them that stems from their spiritual root and the days of Abraham. He taught people how to connect and attain the power of oneness that operates throughout creation. The people of Israel, however, are never satisfied and feel that something is eating them from the inside out because they are not realizing their desire for spirituality. They all have their own opinions and need to discover that they can build bridges of unity above the differences.
