Desires: “Romans” And “Greeks”

600.02Question: Were the Greek wars fought not between the Greeks and the Jews, but between the Hellenized Jews and the rest of the Jews?

Answer: Yes, the Greeks themselves did not fight. The Hellenized Jews are the Jewish elite who wanted to live well, freely, not according to the laws of Kabbalah, but according to the laws of the free world, as it were. That’s why they fought.

Basically, all the so-called wars with the Romans and Greeks were Jewish wars, within the people of Israel.

Question: What desires are called  the “Greeks” in us?

Answer: The desire to live, to have fun, to look for something that lies beyond the boundaries of the search for higher powers.

Question: What is the difference between the desires of “Romans” and “Greeks”?

Answer: The Romans are basically the desires that create a system of relationships in our world between people, all kinds of parties and ranks. The Romans founded the classical system.

And the Greeks were more focused on understanding nature, but primitive nature. Mathematics, physics, trigonometry, geometry—these are all Greeks. And the Romans are Roman law, the relationship between people, but within the framework of our world.

Everything is very simple. When Judaism is added to this, there is a bit of confusion, but in general, there is nothing there.

Historical Role Of The Greek Empire

622.01Question: Why did the powerful Greek Empire, which had existed for about six centuries, collapse?

Answer: It fulfilled its mission. It helped transform Kabbalah into modern Judaism and all kinds of religions. It built a bridge between Kabbalah and Islam, and created Orthodox Christianity.

Thus, the Greek Empire practically fulfilled its intermediate role in history. Byzantium was the crossroad between Judaism, Kabbalah, and modern religions.

Translation Of The Torah—A Source Of Distortion

559Question: What is your opinion about the translation of the Torah into Greek?

Answer: The Torah cannot be translated into any language at all because its translation always becomes a source of all kinds of distortions.

Hebrew in its inner meaning cannot be adequately translated into another language because it implies completely different, spiritual concepts that do not exist in other languages because they do not have a spiritual root.

Question: But we are talking about the 3rd century BC. At that time, there were sages who understood this. Why did they still allow the translation of the Torah?

Answer: What do you mean “allowed”? They themselves were no longer at a high spiritual level so they could not stop anything. The masses turned away from them because there was a huge revelation of egoism, and that was the end of it.

The spreading of Kabbalah to the masses, which spanned from the 10th century BC to the 1st century AD, has ended. Then came all sorts of religious interpretations. This is where Judaism in its modern form appeared.

Comment: In Judea, the Greek language practically replaced Hebrew and Aramaic. Even the leaders of the Jewish people wrote in Greek.

My Response: Of course. If you follow someone, if you think someone is more progressive, then that’s it.

Comment: The famous historian Josephus Flavius wrote that the Greek king Ptolemy II wanted to establish his kingdom upon the law of the Torah: “Love your neighbor as yourself” and was ready to pay any price for it. But when he saw that Jews started to fight among themselves, Greece turned against them.

My Response: Yes, the Jews themselves showed an example that this is impossible to do. It became clear that laws of bestowal and love cannot be spread among people in a direct way.

Being Worthy Of The Land Of Israel

749.01Prophets, Joshua, Chapter 3:02–3:03: And it was at the end of three days, that the officers went through the midst of the camp.

And they commanded the people, saying: When you see the Ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then you shall move from your place and go after it.

Prophets, Joshua, Chapter 3:05: And Joshua said to the people; Prepare yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.

To prepare before a transition means to be purified from egoism, from all the properties, intentions, and thoughts that can still be for one’s own sake. A person needs to test himself and rise to such a level that one can estimate approximately what other doubts and obstacles there may possibly be.

Question: In principle, people have already approached the barrier, so the purification has already taken place. Do they still need to test themselves again and again?

Answer: But you do not stay in one place, you keep moving forward all the time.

Purification happens not for the past but for the future because you are now already accumulating the property of bestowal, Bina, with which you can advance.

The land of Israel is very cruel, very egoistic. It is not suitable for a simple person to exist in it. That is why it was empty for hundreds of years. Nothing grew on it. Only now, when the Jews came here, did it suddenly show that it can blossom and develop.

Question: Does the fact that it is developing externally mean something?

Answer: This only means that we can live here, but only if we behave in a way that is worthy of this land. Then it will bless us. And if not, we cannot exist here. It will vomit us out as before and we will have to leave it.

The Origins Of Religions And Spiritual Practices

963.6Question: In ancient times, Greek philosophers learned from the Hebrew prophets. There is a lot of evidence about this. A few hundred years later, the Hellenization of the Jews, mainly the elite, began. What is your opinion on this?

Answer: The fact is that the Greeks had nothing with which to oppose Judaism because it did not rise above all kinds of wild rituals. And what they received from the Jews, in particular from the Kabbalists, gave them the opportunity to develop their religion.

The same thing that happened among the Jews themselves when they gradually created their religion from Kabbalah happened to other peoples. Either they were on the side of the Jewish people and received  all kinds of knowledge and experience from it, their attitude to higher powers and to human destiny, or they transformed it.

It is said that Abraham also sent his disciples to the East, and there they founded the Eastern teachings. Thus, all teachings and religions originated from what was received from the ancient Jews or rather from the Kabbalists.

But since Kabbalah is a very complex system for implementation, each nation adapted it in its own way. This is how all kinds of religions and spiritual practices arose.

In Contradiction With The Laws Of The Land Of Israel

747.01Question: The five books of the Torah tell the story before entering the land of Israel, does this mean they only talk about rising above egoism and not about working on it itself? Is it about the law “Do not do unto others what you would not like others to do unto yourself”?

Answer: Yes. There was no question of love here because it can only be in the Land of Israel—”Eretz Yisrael.” “Eretz” is desire (Ratzon), “Yisra El“—directly to the Creator.

Therefore, the law “Do not do unto others what you would not like others to do unto you” was passed by the people together with Moses before entering Israel.

There are a lot of laws that we need to accept in order to be in the correct interaction with each other. And there are laws that you need to start following when you enter the land of Israel. But now we are not even in non-fulfillment, but in complete contradiction with the laws of the land of Israel.

Question: Why is the spring compressed so that we do not even follow the elementary laws?

Answer: In order for us to realize that we are in the state opposite to what we want.

Israel Will Not Be Left In Peace

961.2Comment: The UN has established a commission to investigate human rights violations in the Palestinian territories and in Israel as a result of the latest operation Guardian of the Walls. After each military operation, a commission in the UN is formed and they constantly want to judge our soldiers and officers.

24 countries voted in favor, 9 against, and 14 abstained. Look who is voting in favor! Those who trample their citizens, kill them, put them in concentration camps. They are the ones voting to condemn Israel.

My Response: This is the world we live in.

Question: Soon we will not be able to carry out any military operation at all, even the most precise, and not be condemned later or face a military tribunal declaring something against us. How can we defend ourselves?

Answer: We do not need to defend ourselves. We need to act the only way we can, that is, to turn to the Creator, unite above egoism, and then no one will attack us. That is all. Otherwise, we will not get away with anything.

Comment: But no one understands this except you and a small number of Kabbalists.

My Response: Then it will be bad. These are laws of upper nature and we cannot escape them. If we do not execute them, it will be bad. If we do it at some point, it will be good.

Question: But everyone already sees perfectly well that logic does not work, that it is impossible to prove anything. But for some reason, we don’t arrive at these conclusions. Why does this happen to us all the time?

Answer: Because the whole world exists within the framework of egoism! So it draws correct conclusions.

Question: What does it demand from Israel?

Answer: I think that ultimately it would demand that Israel simply leave, and that’s it. Disarm Israel and remove its entire population. They would receive demilitarized land, which would immediately be populated at the delight of all nations around us—the Arabs.

Comment: And start wars between each other.

My Response: It does not matter what they start. It is their business. No one will blame them for it.

Question: So they really want to destroy the only democracy in this region?

Answer: They do not consider democracy. It is not a consideration for them. It is in their way. In everybody’s way: Arabs, Americans, Russians, no matter who. It is an obstacle for everybody.

Question: What should we do?

Answer: We must either correct ourselves the way we need to be corrected, or we have to get out of here.

To correct ourselves means to achieve a bond of friendship, brotherhood, and even love.

We must create those conditions, those relations between us. And then nothing else is needed.

Question: You do not even have to arm yourself,  you do not have to do anything?

Answer: We can stay with what we have for now, but actually, it will not be needed.

Question: We need a strong army in order for time to come when we can unite with each other?

Answer: Yes. We need to create such relations between us. That’s it! And the world will watch and rejoice.

Question: And so, peace and quiet will come to the world only because of this small point where this great event took place?

Answer: Of course! It all started here, and it will end here.

Question: Is this what they want us to understand?

Answer: Yes. But we do not understand. And we will not understand if for a while longer; it is a stiff-necked nation.

Question: How do you see the future? The time-frame, how much time do we have?

Answer: I don’t know. We need to act. Our organization, which understands this, must act and spread this knowledge in the world, among the nations of the world, mainly among the Jews. What happens next is none of our business.

We must spread this knowledge everywhere.

Humanity Is One Single Soul

933Question: What is the entrance to the land of Israel within us?

Answer: Man is the common creation, Adam. We are all part of his soul. This is a collective spiritual image, which in itself does not consist of separate beings as we humans usually see ourselves.

It represents the totality of all our properties, especially spiritual ones. In principle, everything that is in each of us constitutes, so to speak, a spiritual figure called “Adam.”

Naturally, from generation to generation, all parts of this figure, or rather its individual properties, gradually undergo their corrections in the similarity to the Creator.

And when this similarity is fully completed, then the state of complete correction will come and the Creator will appear and fill the image of Adam, our common soul, which will gather in this state, starting from our world, from the earthly level, to the highest one, including all worlds.

This soul will stand in all worlds, but not in the corporeal sense. It will include the filling of all worlds, meaning it will come to the state of complete correction (Gmar Tikkun).

We are currently starting to enter the last part of this state. Therefore, our generation is called the last generation, which corrects the shattering of the common soul that occurred before us and that underlies our existence as individuals.

We must internally unite with each other as one man with one heart, as many billions of souls into one soul, into one spiritual structure.

Everything Came Out Of Jerusalem

200.01Jerusalem is considered the center of the world, the eternal city. It was founded by King David as the capital of the Kingdom of Judah and it is the capital of Israel today. Jerusalem is mentioned 800 times in the Tanakh, which means it is given great importance in all three major world religions and especially in Judaism.

Jerusalem is considered an eternal city despite the fact that it has been destroyed and conquered by invaders several times over the course of history. Today, Jerusalem is at the very center of controversy for the entire world. Why is the attention of the world focused on this tiny piece of land?

The spiritual world, as well as the material world, must have a center. It was once believed that the center of the universe was the sun around which everything revolves. And this is actually the case if you look at our solar system from the point of view of astronomy.

And in the human system, everything emerged from Jerusalem even though Jerusalem existed as a small settlement even before Jews came to the land of Israel. They conquered the land by defeating seven other nations that lived on it, and they populated the place according to instructions from above. Since then, Jerusalem has belonged to Israel.

Jerusalem is a special place that is the heart of Israel. It did not immediately become a central city; there were several other such places before it. But after a while, Jerusalem became the most important center and received the names “city of peace,” “city of David,” “perfect city,” and since then, it has been proclaimed as the capital of Israel forever.

Why did King David chose this particular location for the capital of his kingdom? It is the place where the spiritual and material centers of the world come together. That is why people are so attracted to this point and many feel special phenomena in it. Even today, many tourists who come to visit Jerusalem say that it has a special glow, an unusual feeling of certain vibrations.

There is even such a phenomenon in psychiatry as the “Jerusalem syndrome” in which a person begins to imagine himself as a historical character from the Tanakh and forgets who he really is.

If we could look at Jerusalem from the inside, as if through an X-ray, we would see that it contains many spiritual properties: the Temple Mount, Mount Scopus, the city walls, etc. We would see the special atmosphere that reigns in every corner of Jerusalem. Every smallest fragment of this city bears the imprint of a special spiritual quality.

These symbols have existed in Jerusalem for thousands of years, but for us they have become familiar and commonplace. On the other hand, we must understand that the main thing is not the thousands-year-old walls, but the people who look at Jerusalem.

It is the people who must give a special spirit to this city, the correct spiritual symbols. Because on one hand, Jerusalem is called the city of peace, and on the other hand, it is constantly torn by strife and wars so it is not clear how to bring it to perfection and peace.

We still have a lot of work to do in order to understand what Jerusalem is and what needs to be done to make it whole and perfect. Jerusalem is not only a city of peace but also a city of perfection and integrity. How can we bring it to a state where the ten spiritual Sefirot would unite with the soil of this world, that is, so that the end of correction would come?

For this, we study the science of Kabbalah and strive to reach the state where this will happen. We ourselves must become whole and perfect. It is thanks to the people who live in this city and achieve unification of everyone—all races and nationalities—that it will become the city of peace, the perfect city.

To do this, we need to learn how we can create such a form of humanity where all people will be united by good, correct, friendly ties to the full extent. Then we will understand the power that is contained in this city. The more we unite together, the more we will reveal the power hidden in Jerusalem. Then it will be a perfect city.

Hellenization Of The Jews

559Comment: A person has such desires, which in Kabbalah are called “Yavanim,” which means Greeks.

My response: The Greeks (Yavanim, Mityavnim) are those people who want to materialize their aspirations for the upper world. They do not understand spirituality without any totems, some signs of stone, wood, etc. This is how all religions gradually arose. Since then, the Jewish religion has changed a lot. After it, Christianity and Islam appeared.

Question: Do you consider this a natural process? Was this supposed to happen?

Answer: Yes. Once people lost such a leader as Moses, they broke away from a clear aspiration for the spirit and began to see it in wood and stones. Many branches of true Judaism appeared. This is how the Hellenization of hundreds of thousands of Jews took place.
