Answer: The wisdom of Kabbalah doesn’t talk about that. But basically a man must be more mature than a woman because he must be greater in every way, like Zeir Anpin in relation to Malchut, which is basically a small part of it. But this is from a spiritual point of view. In regard to age differences in our world, it is entirely relative.

Question: If a woman has a strong desire to advance spiritually, does she necessarily require a man who is also connected to the wisdom of Kabbalah?

Answer: That is not necessary. A woman can advance even if she doesn’t have a man if there is a Kabbalistic group near her. A man must marry since he then becomes an absolute egoist. If a woman is found by his side, his additional egoism will help him develop spiritually.

Question: Why are some men only given one woman while others have an entire harem?

Answer: This is a natural characteristic. There are monogamous men and there are those who are not ready to live with one woman. This is natural and it is not possible to change. Everything depends on the characteristic of the soul. It is not a “beastly” characteristic because a man like this can love one particular woman and be in relationships with others.

Question: Is it possible to use envy as a positive benefit for personal growth?

Answer: Never! It is necessary to long for friendship and support but not envy; this is an incorrect feeling. Men do not look at it favorably. It limits and pressures him too much like a child; he wants to be rid of that feeling.

Question: Is it possible that after studying the wisdom of Kabbalah a person can change the “flavor” of love for children? Meaning will the same love remain but in a different form?

Answer: Studying Kabbalah changes a person very much, especially in one’s attitude toward family, children, and spouse. But the change is always positive and balanced.

Answer: The right woman longs to stand behind a man and push him toward connection with the friends.

Question: Even gay couples can have kids today thanks to IVF and surrogate mothers. How does the Creator allow that?

Answer: There is no room for such questions since the Creator is Light, the upper force, which operates and bestows unto us to the same degree that we need Him. If we don’t need Him, His illumination unto us, unto our egoistic desires, develops us automatically until we are ready to properly and mutually cooperate with Him until we are ready for His revelation.

Therefore, there is no question at all as to whether the Creator wants or doesn’t want, allows, or doesn’t allow anything. We must understand that there is an upper force that has nothing at all to do with us, and there are our egoistic desires.

To the degree that our desires want to resemble the altruistic force, it affects us, but we must always be first. And according to our desire, our minus, we will begin to evoke the bestowal of the upper attribute, which is always second and always plus. This is how it works.

Therefore we should not curse the Creator or reprimand Him for different events in the world. The Creator is an amorphous attribute, which is absolutely serene and cannot be frightened.

We are constantly inside the Creator and by a desire that is focused on Him we can evoke His special bestowal on us. If we focus our minus properly on Him, we will automatically summon His illumination to us through our desire because the Creator doesn’t consider or judge, He doesn’t do anything and does not change.

Therefore we actually change ourselves with all our appeals to the Creator: “Come! Help us!” in order to summon unto ourselves the positive changes of the Upper Light, the upper force.

Answer: I would not recommend this. For the sake of the child it is necessary to give birth naturally, to go through the preliminary preparation, light exercise, etc. It is too bad we don’t have midwives as we once did.

It is possible to facilitate birth through massage of the birth canal, and then women would give birth without problems. In our day we rely more on drugs so this is impossible.

Question: Why is there a prohibition to look at women?

The Torah tells us about the internal forces that are revealed in a person who corrects himself. Men represent the ability to draw that Light that Reforms, the force that corrects the ego into the attribute of love and bestowal. The connection between a man and a woman represents a corrected system, which means a desire to receive over which an intention to bestow has been applied. Spiritual partnership is a system in which the two forces of nature are connected, the force that receives and the force that gives.

Heroism is the ability to overcome yourself, the ego, and instead of drawing for yourself moving to love everyone. Love is the strongest egoistic desire imprinted in us resulting from the upper spiritual root. Love in our world is self-love, while in the spiritual world it is the exact opposite, love of others, love thy friend as thyself.

The term “I am love sick” refers to the great desire to fill others that is impossible to implement yet. The wisdom of Kabbalah enables us to draw the Light that Reforms that develops the desire to love and the ability to reach unconditional love.

When a person who loves others does not need to receive anything in return from the loved one since the love is whole in the two inclinations—the good and the evil—so that our whole ego works for the benefit of others. All this takes place in a group of Kabbalists who establish a connection that draws the Light that Reforms and builds the attribute of love and bestowal.

The formula for that is “love will cover all our transgressions”; the ego and the hatred grow, and above them we build love between us. A person’s soul is built of two layers, infinite hatred and above it infinite love; our evolutionary process actually leads us to hatred in order to force us to learn to love.

Question: According to American psychologists, there is no such thing as love at first sight. They claim that love emerges at fourth sight. They also say that, in order to form an emotional memory, there should be at least three meetings that lead to the emergence of love during the fourth meeting (Deacon Chronicle).

Answer: I don’t know what psychologists mean exactly when they refer to love and whether it is an emotional attraction, hormonal attraction, an intellectual attraction, or the bringing together of two hearts.

Question: They also claim that true love grows stronger and is sustained only by pleasant, positive thoughts about one’s partner. This means that a desired impression of a certain person should be created, so they believe that it is created during the fourth meeting.

Answer: This is what they say today; tomorrow they will say differently. As far as human feelings are concerned, it is merely a chemical reaction that takes place on the deepest levels of our subconscious.

It is a game of hormones, which we call love. There are many reasons and different conditions that make a certain person suddenly attracted to another, while the person himself cannot explain that because he doesn’t understand how and what is happening to him.

Therefore, it is impossible to reach any serious scientific conclusions about this issue. There is only one thing I can say: Love is a commitment, a dependency, a feeling of gratitude. It is a mutual condition between people who understand the degree to which they are connected to each other, what they have done for one another, and how much more they can do.

Such mutual dependency and support, such great closeness, as if they both seemingly continue one another, is called love.

It has nothing to do with sex, passion, or any kind of mutual attraction. This is exactly what the wisdom of Kabbalah tells us, and we Kabbalists have educated humanity accordingly for years.

Love is a state in which a person accepts the desires of a loved one instead of his own desires, and fills them according to the desires of the loved one. In absolute love, a person even accepts and fulfills the desires of the loved one even though they may be opposite from his own desires. This is a relationship on a totally different level.
