Over the past several years, we have been exposed to an accelerating avalanche of corruption that is baffling and disturbing. This is especially true now, that corruption is exposed in institutions tasked with preventing the very crime they are committing: criminal corruption. High-ranking police officers, judges, members of the Knesset (Israeli parliament), ministers, prime ministers, and even the president, all have been convicted in serious offenses, from fraud and embezzlement to rape.

If there is any good about this awful list, it is the exposure of the truth. Now we know that we cannot trust anyone since human nature is inherently corrupt. The only way to prevent corruption is to change the crooked human nature for the better. The other option is anarchy.

But corruption isn’t the only cause for social frustration in Israel. If, previously, we hoped that time would heal the many social ruptures in Israeli society, we now know it will not happen. Secular vs. orthodox, Jews vs. Muslims, Ashkenazi vs. Sephardi, Tel-Aviv vs. the rest of the country, and the list goes on and on. It feels like the country is disintegrating from within.

The problem is not that we have veered off from the right track; it is that we were never on it. From the very beginning, we did not aim to realize the purpose of establishing a Jewish state. We treated the motto “Love your neighbor as yourself” as a naive principle that no one can, or is even expected to live out. We forgot that we were exiled from here precisely because we shunned this principle, and that our sages have been telling us for centuries that we will not succeed here, or anywhere, unless we reestablish care and mutual responsibility among us.

Now, as people are becoming increasingly and irrevocably connected, without concern for others, everything collapses. We, the people of Israel, who were entrusted with modelling the implementation of the principle of love of others and mutual responsibility, had to strive to realize this motto in our sovereign country from day one. Since we did not have this principle in mind, we have been in social relapse from the very beginning.

Now our corruption is manifest, but at least we know who we are and can decide to change it. And with the world realizing that we have failed it, it is beginning to pressure us in order to either change us, or get rid of the country and the nation that failed it.

In the meantime, the social frustration in Israel has amassed to levels that can erupt in destructive violence. To avoid disaster and prevent the looming social collapse, we must start working on our very nature.

It is not a political issue and goes deeper than any social dogma. It concerns changing the motivation for our actions from purely self-serving to a balanced approach that also sees the needs of the collective.

It is not a question of kindness; it is a question of survival. We simply cannot afford to be so selfish anymore. Unless we take other people into account, unless we learn to care about what they need and want, and strive to sympathize with them despite our inherent alienation, we have no future here in Israel, and perhaps no future anywhere.

Answer: Nothing disappears and nothing new appears. In some form, everything enters nature and appears again when necessary, for example, the coronavirus or other misfortunes that may occur. It all depends to what extent we allow them to appear

Answer: The common soul of man is divided into four parts: Aleph, Bet, Gimel, and Dalet, or four levels: Keter, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut. There are three lines in each of them: left, right, and middle. Four times three equals twelve parts.

The most important thing is that they unite into one goal, each from its own side and with its own personality.

My new article on Linkedin “The Day Israel Disappears”

On the day Palestine is liberated and Israel is destroyed, Jews and IDF soldiers will be executed, peace activists will be able to safely leave, and the technological experts and brilliant minds will be forced to stay here for some time to provide support.

These are some of the conclusions about the planned fate of the Jewish state reached during the “Promise of the Hereafter” conference recently held by the Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip.

One can roll one’s eyes at yet another announcement foretelling the disappearance of Israel in the coming years, but if one examines the area, almost everything is prepared and ready to enact this plan. There are Arab representatives in Israel in key positions, they receive large sums of money, they are armed and full of manpower and they are surrounded by support from all Arab countries. So why should such a disturbing event not occur in the future?

We do not exist in the land of Israel only by virtue of our security forces, but mainly by Supreme grace. Our very contempt for this fact and our unwillingness to acknowledge it and behave accordingly cause us to gradually lose the spiritual umbrella that protects us.

I do not think Hamas’ descriptions of nightmares for the people of Israel will occur as they describe, but it is important to be alert and to recognize that the situation is unstable and that there is always a chance that we will degenerate into such a dangerous situation.

The enemy’s plan is very detailed: from transitional laws—through the transfer of real estate to them—to military, legal and security laws. While they envision a new state—and as we know, nothing stands in the way of desire—our Jewish vision is fading.

Every day that passes during which we do not engage in a serious plan of heartfelt bonding between us, overcoming all the alienation and resentment between us towards a more complete unity, causes us to lose our strength. Every day that we do not act and try vigorously to discover the Supreme Force—the power of giving and love—causes us to lose our truth.

At the same time as our settlement in the land of Israel and, alongside of it, our intensive focus on its security, we must pay attention to the nation’s spirit as a single unit because without it, we will not survive here for long. The separation between us breaks that spirit which then transforms into negative forces that threaten us through our enemies.

We need to build a spiritual home from our hearts, to live as one man in one heart. Our intention must be too giving to the Supreme Force—to the power of connection—a space within our common heart to dwell among us and between us. Only in this way can we ensure our future existence in the land of Israel. This spirit of mutual responsibility and love that awakens in us will be the cause of our success. Therefore, we must hasten steps towards building a correct, strong, spiritual Israel—a land inhabited by people who are emotionally connected to one another and to their Upper Root.

Foremost kabbalist Rav Yehuda Ashlag (Baal HaSulam) has already warned that “Israel must present something new to the nations. This is what they expect from the return of Israel to the land! …Justice, and peace. And this wisdom is attributed to us alone. If this return is canceled, Zionism will be canceled altogether…And its residents are destined to endure much suffering. Undoubtedly, either they or their children will gradually leave the country, and only an insignificant number will remain, which will ultimately be swallowed among the Arabs.” (“The Writings of the Last Generation.”)

Such an internal connection as the common heart we must build will attract everyone to it and expand circles of positive influence throughout the world. Thus, gradually the rest of the nations of the world will join us. On that day, there will be no Arabs and Jews but rather, one people. There will be no Israel or Palestine, but one humanity with one prayer to the one Supreme Force, the power of influence and love, as it is written: “For my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7)

Question: The two and a half tribes that went over the Jordan will later depart from the people and be the first to go into exile. Is it possible to foresee in advance where unity will be violated?

Answer: Of course: in the advancement toward the goal. What is happening in Israeli society today is an absolute disintegration because there is no advancement toward a single goal. Liberalism or so-called freedom is deadly for any nation, especially for the Jewish people.

Question: Was it possible to foresee in advance that this would happen?

Answer: Undoubtedly. You can say as much as you like that to have a lot of trends in society is contemporary, it is a sign of a developed society, and this is how it should be. However, this is not a developed society, but a developed, uncorrected, decaying egoism, and any of its actions divides the people into parts.

Question: Does it mean that when we just started building the country, it was already possible to say that this would be the case?

Answer: This country was created on the basis of war, and is governed only by war, including the war with each other. All members of the government are thinking about how to push each other aside. If it were not for the help from above, our country would have been gone for a long time.

Question: Based on the spiritual construction of the world should Jews be corrected first?

Answer: Yes. Jews should be corrected first and be the example to the entire world. This is their mission, as it is written: “And you will be unto Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.”

What does it mean to be a holy nation? To be the nation of bestowal. Holiness is the quality of bestowal and love for one’s neighbor. The Jews should demonstrate this on themselves and then bring it into the world. This is what Kabbalah is all about.

Initially, the Jews were divided into three groups: the Cohens, the Levites, and the nation (Israel). There was a time when a simple Israelite could become a Levite. But earlier, it was all inherited and the Cohens and Levites practically did not come from the common people.

And the fact that now people with such surnames live next to us all came to us from those distant times.

Comment: Many, by the way, are proud of this.

My Response: I have seen it more than once. But I do not think we can be proud of it today.

Before, it was really honorable to be a Levite or a Cohen, because it was a testament to the inner essence of a person who had reached a certain level in his knowledge and internal corrections. And now, everything is so grounded.

Question: Why are Jews, even if they are searching for the meaning of life, looking for it not in Kabbalah but elsewhere?

Answer: Once upon a time in the distant past, Jews managed themselves with the help of the Kabbalistic method and rose above this world. They sensed the eternal, perfect creation, and dwelt in it with their senses and mind.

And then they fell into the opposite state, opposite to the original one. That is why they have such a rejection of Kabbalah and an unwillingness to return to this state. The properties prevailing in them today are opposite to the higher properties they were in at the time of the Temple because they fell from plus to minus.

And the other nations that came out of Babylon and did not rise spiritually have neither plus nor minus. But now historical development has brought them to the point that they want to know what the meaning of life is and they are completely loyal to Kabbalah. If their religions are not directed against Judaism (after all, many consider Kabbalah to be part of Judaism), then they are interested and perceive it as something true and at least not repulsive.

Although, there are many obstacles here. Some think that Kabbalah is mysticism, a terrible science that can cause dark forces to affect a person. Be that as it may, all these fears gradually disappear and humanity is beginning to feel internally that there probably is some possibility of salvation, of finding the truth in this method.

My new article on Linkedin “The Enigmatic Impact of the Jews on Nations”

Last month, some 300 courageous Iraqi leaders, both Shiite and Sunni, called on the government to join the Abraham Accords, normalize ties with Israel, and repeal the law prohibiting civilian ties between Iraqis and Israelis. I am all for peace and good relations, but regrettably, at the moment, it does not seem like the Iraqi government is willing to become a real partner for it. In fact, the government has already issued orders of arrest to some of the participants in the declaration.

There used to be a flourishing Jewish community in Iraq, which contributed to the thriving of the country. Today, without the Jews, it is a shadow of itself. When acclaimed German economist and sociologist Werner Sombart wished to describe the impact of the Jews on Europe, he articulated himself in a manner that suits many other places, too. In his book The Jews and Modern Capitalism, he wrote: “Israel passes over Europe like the sun: at its coming new life bursts forth; at its going all falls into decay.”

Leaders have always known this impact of the Jews and attempted to use it to their benefit. In the 15th century, the Ottoman Sultan, Bayezid II, was delighted at the Jews’ expulsion from Spain and their arrival in Turkey. In his book History of Jewish Literature: The Jewish Center of Culture in the Ottoman Empire, historian Israel Zinberg writes in this regard: “When King Ferdinand, who expelled the Jews from Spain, was mentioned in [the sultan’s] presence, he said: ‘How can you consider King Ferdinand a wise ruler when he impoverished his own land and enriched ours?’”

In some cases, manipulation of the economic power of the Jews was not as overt. It is said that when the US pressured the Soviet Union to let its Jews leave for the West, it was not so much because it wanted to help the Jews, but more because it wanted to weaken the Soviet Union. The latter, which was quite aware of the power of the Jews, did not let them out. It also quelled any display of overt antisemitism in the USSR in order not to scare the Jews away.

The Iraqi leaders who convened last month are well aware of it. Wissam al-Hardan, a Sunni tribal leader from Anbar province in Iraq, said that the expulsion of Iraq’s Jews was “the most infamous act” in the country’s decline. Likewise, Dr. Sahr al-Ta’i, an Iraqi advocate of normalizing ties with Israel, said that “Israel today … is a strong country and an inseparable part of the world and the United Nations. Iraq cannot neglect this fact and live in isolation from the world.”

While all the above is impressive, we should also note that wherever Jews are welcome first, they are eventually rejected and expelled. There are good reasons for both phenomena.

The Jews bear within them a special trait, a spiritual force that derives from our illustrious past when we were connected among each other and therefore connected to all of reality. The power of the Jews is the power of unity, the power of caring for each other “as one man with one heart,” the power of mutual responsibility.

Today, even though we have lost our love for one another, we still carry within us a spark of the power we had had in antiquity. That spark makes us unique. It allows us to thrive within any society where we live. However, because we have fallen from the state of loving others, we use it to our benefit instead of for the benefit of the entire society. This is why at first, everyone welcomes us and we contribute to the prosperity of our host country, due to the hidden spark within us, but in the end we are expelled, when our host realizes it’s been used and manipulated to benefit the Jews.

Just as it happened in Spain, Germany, and basically everywhere we went, it will happen in the US. As long as we behave the same, the result will be the same. It is just as one famous Jew, Albert Einstein, once said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

The good intentions of the Iraqi leaders will therefore not lead to anything positive. Peace with Israel is not in their hands, but in ours. If we decide to make peace among ourselves and renew the love of others that we once possessed, we will project it to the nations and the world will prosper. If we continue to detest one another and maintain our selfish attitude, the world will accuse us of selfishness and banish us from the family of nations.

Question: How can we explain the pattern that through the ages it has been the Jews who made discoveries in science?

Answer: This is a consequence of the fact that the Jews have a spiritual predisposition to correct the world. Naturally, they moved everything else forward.

By performing certain spiritual actions, they strived to achieve equivalence with the Creator, to rise to the level of the global upper force in their qualities, to correct themselves, and to lead all humanity to this.

The Jews are a group that is bound to make a very serious spiritual revolution. In our time, this is really beginning to be realized. Whether we want it or not, it must happen, because it is inherent in the matter of nature.

Question: Probably there is no point on the map where Jews do not live. What are the reasons for their dispersion around the world? Why is this necessary?

Answer: This is preparation for the future. The Jews are the group of people from ancient Babylon who received the method of correcting humanity and lifting it to the next level of existence, to the next dimension. Now they must present it to the entire world. The time has come.

As it is written in The Book of Zohar, this should have happened at the end of the 20^th century. We see how in our time the wisdom of Kabbalah is becoming more and more popular because humanity needs a new method, an understanding of the causes, consequences, and purpose of its existence.

The Jews kept this method for 4,500 years. Although they do not represent a genetic group, during this time a special genetic tradition, sequence, and connection appeared also on our corporeal level.

Since they were engaged in certain spiritual corrections and attainments, this left its mark on their corporeal capabilities: history, geography, and everything we see throughout all millennia.

In addition we should take into account the hidden current of this ancient Babylonian group called Jews, from the word “Yichud” (unity), which is based on reaching unity of all of humanity between themselves and with the Creator. These are the ten tribes that broke away from the general group 2,800 years ago at the time of the destruction of the First Temple. They are all scattered around the world and we do not know where they are or who they are.

As a result there are huge undercurrents in humanity, and we do not understand why some events suddenly occur. All of this is in order to bring the world to correction, and therefore it is somehow connected with this group. However the rest of humanity is relatively passive.
