Comment: At the beginning of the year, the first Civil Code in the country’s history has come into force in the People’s Republic of China. Citizens are gaining points. Of course, there is a tracking system installed.

You have a starting point of one thousand points. And you either gain more and go up or lower down. Points are earned for charity, caring for elderly relatives, good relations with neighbors, helping the poor, supporting the government, committing a heroic deed, and so on.

Points are deducted for traffic violations, unsatisfactory parental support, spreading rumors and fake news on the Internet, insincere apologies for crimes committed, participation in sects, protests against the authorities, etc.

Those with high scores will have priority in school admission, fast work promotions, fast advancement in the queue for public housing, etc. Those with low scores will be deprived of the right to hold a position in public offices, will be prone to public censure, etc.

Those who issue these laws claim that this is the only way to make people honest, kind, and open. That is, this is the way they want to educate people!

My Response: Such an educational system is unsuitable for the new world.

Question: In general, what about an educational system based on suppression, on fear?

Answer: It is necessary for the initial development of any society! Just like with man: we restrict him, he must be supervised by his elders who must be responsible for his actions, that is, they must restrict him, punish him, and so on.

Question: Should we build an educational system based on the national character?

Answer: No. If we are talking about the educational system that the world needs today, then we should not take into account any national characteristic, mentality, nothing.

We just need to gain and spread in the world the knowledge that only connection, simple connection among people—when each person understands that his good future lies only in his connection with other people—only such education can bring humanity to order.

Man will find happiness when he begins to draw closer to others, and in this understanding he begins to feel more confident, more comfortable, and he will see the future.

People should simply understand that they are in a single system—not Chinese and not Soviet— but in the system of nature that wants only one thing: that we stay in unity among us.

Question: And then a person himself, on his own, without any points, will treat the elderly well and will not slander?

Answer: Of course, it goes without saying.

Question: Is it possible? After all, a person is what he is.

Answer: Nowadays, because of the pandemic and other problems including pressures that will descend into our world more and more on a bigger scale, it is possible. It is thanks to this that it is possible.

Question: That is, the intensification of suffering makes it possible to explain to a person that we need to be on good terms with each other?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Why don’t we hear then?

Answer: No one has yet explained this to us. We have not yet reached such a state to feel and to understand that we need this. And suffering will be added. A virus will be followed by another virus, problems will be followed by other problems.

Man will not perish. Man will bear everything! Animals will die out, plants will die out, stones will melt, but humans will not.

Question: Man will come out of this state?

Answer: Yes. It will happen when he says: “That is it, I am ready! Even my heart of stone has melted. I am ready to get closer to others!”

I have absolute confidence in this. And so it will be. Hopefully, if not this year, then next one, but still I hope to live to see this.

Question: And then it will start as an epidemic, a good, kind one?

Answer: Yes. Because people will have no other way out anyway. They are already beginning to see darkness: there is fog ahead, then twilight, then night, and then an abyss. And then a gradual, really gradual, awakening will begin.

Question: And what is needed to come out of this?

Answer: It is very simple: just be together so we do not get lost one by one.

Question: And then the abyss recedes?

Answer: Absolutely!

Question: Can a scientist understand what changing human nature means without participating in this experience himself?

Answer: Of course. This is very easy to understand.

In nature, there is egoism, and there is a force that can change it to its opposite to altruism. We just need to know how to attract this force to correct us. This is achieved by specific work in small groups where we annul ourselves before the others, purely mechanically, as if in a game.

But can we, egoists, annul ourselves? We can. By making such efforts, we attract the positive force of nature.

Nature consists of two forces, positive and negative, plus and minus. Today, we are controlled only by the negative force. And we can attract the positive one with our own efforts. Then, while existing between both forces and balancing nature, we will begin to understand it and control it ourselves.

Recently, many analyses have surfaced showing the excess mortality that Covid-19 has wrought. Even with the existence of vaccines, the virus is still spreading and in many countries, claims hundreds, and even thousands of lives each day. This grim reality has prompted some students to ask me about the meaning of life and death.

If we want to give our lives meaning, we should spend it connecting to other people—not in order to use them, but in order to care about them. This is what makes life precious.

Indeed, we treat life as something very important, and for a good reason, but on condition that we act on this reason. If we go through our lives just passing the time, then all we get out of it is the few ounces of pain we have collected. However, if we use it to make the most of the opportunity we have received to approach, or even achieve the spiritual realm of life, namely to connect with other people to the point where we feel them in our hearts, then life is precious.

Inherently, we feel that we do not owe anything to anyone and should only please ourselves. However, we do not realize that this is just our starting point in life. If we end life at the same point where we started, then we have wasted our chance to make progress. From thinking of nothing but ourselves, we should spend our lives trying to extend ourselves and connect to others, to develop care for others. By doing so, we become similar to the connectivity that permeates all of nature and our consciousness expands proportionally.

A newborn baby doesn’t know anything of its environment except for the existence of its own mother, and even that awareness only pertains to the sides of her that relate to the baby. As the baby grows, it begins to realize that there are other things and people around, and begins to communicate with them.

The same process should happen internally. We should evolve from knowing and feeling only ourselves to knowing and feeling our whole environment—people, animals, and objects. This can happen only if we care about them. If we only seek to use them to please ourselves, we will know about them as much as the newly born knows about its mother. What a shame it is to die without having learned more about the reality we live in.

If we want to give our lives meaning, we should spend it connecting to other people—not in order to use them, but in order to care about them. This is what makes life precious.

The purpose of man on earth is to attain the next, supra-egoistic level of his existence. We see that egoism has led us to a dead end.

How do you reach a new level? This is taught by the wisdom of Kabbalah, which says that we must rise above all beliefs, religions, and customs. But I think that during this time, they will also undergo serious changes.

Gradually, humanity will be convinced of the need to attain the next degree of its existence. But the question arises: “How is it easier for us to attain it, when there are many of us (billions) or few of us (millions)?”

According to Kabbalah, we have no right to regulate the human mass. We should be engaged only in the attainment of the upper force that controls us, to know it, to come into contact with it. This force is called “nature.”

The integral, global nature includes not only our world, but also other forms of it that we do not know. We cannot attain them yet because we are very limited by our egoistic worldview and feelings. The attainment of the entire universe will be the goal of the existence of humanity.

To do this, we need a lot of people to divide this huge, difficult task into the smallest parts, each of which can do its own little work, and then to put all the pieces together.

Therefore, I am in favor of not destroying anyone and not thinking about it at all, but only about how to direct people to search for the upper force and become like it—each one and all together.

Question: A student wrote: “I saw the video on YouTube ‘How to overcome shame?’ Tell me, please, what should I do? Due to the coronavirus, I lost my business and have huge debts to banks; I have a rented apartment and a young child. How can I not to lose the human in myself? With stress, depression, panic attacks, and insomnia, how does one deal with a temporary difficult life situation? You have accurately described my state of mind.”

Answer: I advise you to turn off your brain and nerves, to act absolutely mechanically, rationally. What life requires of me today, I must do, without paying attention to what will happen the day after tomorrow and even, maybe, tomorrow. The main thing is today! Understand me correctly, and then you will understand how our world should be realized.

We should not think about tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, we should not make any plans for huge changes. We should just think about how at every moment we can be useful to ourselves and to our loved ones, and if we have the correct understanding of the future world, maybe somehow share this with others.

Without overly reasonable and philosophical fabrications, keep it as simple as possible.

And you will see such a new path, along which you can safely walk, like in a park, and no one will bother you. And if, as it seems to you, they bother you, delve deeper into this path. You will see how everything will resolve and make room for your simple life. And so you will get out of all these problems.

The main thing is to live uncomplicated in our time, in this pandemic. And this attitude will lead you to the wisest thoughts and actions.

Comment: Each country has its own egoism, its own claims. Between countries there is a so-called vulgar Darwinism: I am better, and you are worse.

According to the famous scientist Kapitsa, when there will be 11 billion of us, the need for the countries will disappear by itself.

My Response: I do not think that the number of people on Earth will grow into some different quality. That is, there are changes in people, but they are internal, not quantitative.

After all, we see how the new generation does not want anything. They are not interested in anything except their phones. They see their life only in them. They do not even talk to each other.

Yet, I have a hope that humanity, being in this state, can hear something. We must not give up, we must do something.

I think that we can shake up those people who feel detachment and emptiness and show them that there is an opportunity to rise above our egoistic nature because it buries us in itself.

Our main task is to connect with each other above all disagreements without any politicians and presidents. It is the connection that will reveal the positive force that our world is lacking. It will show and complete our internal, egoistic, negative force. Then we can find a paradigm of the correct development of a person.

My new article on Linkedin “When It Comes to Vaccines – There Is No Union in the European Union”

It’s hard to describe the European Union Covid-19 vaccines fiasco better than James McAuley did it in his most recent column on The Washington Post: “Imagine being in the middle of the greatest public health crisis in a century,” he writes, “and finally, thanks to the ingenuity of science, you get the tools to end that crisis — but, out of nowhere, you decide you won’t use them. Welcome to the European Union, where political leaders dwell in mansions of bureaucratic incompetence and political arrogance as a third wave of covid-19 cases threatens the continent and new variants emerge.” Later in the column, McAuley asks what it will take “before the E.U. vaccinates its citizens as if their lives were on the line?”

Covid-19 is just the first and mildest blow; many more are en route. The first blow has claimed millions of lives. The looming blows will claim many more. As long as we make egoism our king, life will punish us, and the ego will not let us recover. Blow after blow, humanity will collapse under the pain until we all realize that our real enemy is not nature, which inflicts such blows as Covid, but our own egos, which do not let us overcome them easily and quickly.

McAuley offers many reasons that could result in such a fiasco, but I think the truth is plain and simple: It is a struggle led by nothing more than big egos that care for nothing but their own prestige. When has there been union in the European Union? Never! From its very beginning, there have been nothing but power struggles, exploitation, and abandonment of member states in need. (Remember Greece in the 2008 Financial Crisis or Italy in the first wave of the pandemic?) When these come alongside lofty statements that “Building a fair and well-functioning society is a political priority for the European Union,” to quote the EU Science Hub, or a page that the EU titled “European solidarity in action,” to document (the few) examples of solidarity in Europe in facing the Covid-19 crisis, one can’t help but feel deep mistrust in the sincerity of the leaders of the EU.

I’ve said it so many times before: An organization that is founded on egoism cannot last, and the longer it does last, the more the people under its influence suffer until they break it up. All that the EU bureaucrats manage to do, and in this they excel, is make the rich and powerful people on top, even richer and more powerful.

“They shall sow the wind, and they shall harvest a storm,” said Prophet Hosea (8:7). Indeed, the spirit of alienation and exploitation that has pervaded the EU from its onset killed every chance of solidarity and is now costing the lives of thousands of Europeans every day while all of the developed countries are already emerging from the pandemic. When you do not nurture solidarity, you cannot expect to have it at a time of need.

In fact, if for each blow we would bolster our unity, we would achieve such union in human society that we would secure a good life for every person on the planet. We are already capable of it, but we have no desire for it since no one gets the credit, and without a trophy for the ego, there is no motivation to exert for it. At the same time, there is strong motivation to prevent anyone else from helping humanity so that no one else will get the credit.

Until we learn to forge true solidarity, we will not have a good life on this planet. Be it a fourth wave of Covid, extreme weather of unprecedented intensity, or some other ploy that nature might pull, we will be forced into greater and greater discomfort and pain until we surrender and dethrone our egos.

Question: They say that the nature of man has changed a lot. He has ceased to be homo sapiens (intelligent man). Do you agree with this?

Answer: On one hand, it is difficult to say that he was once an intelligent man. But on the other hand, man is born again—this is absolutely certain!

Egoism, as the foundation of our nature, on the inanimate, vegetative, and animate levels is quiet, calm, and necessary for the survival of every species. But man is absolutely unlimited; each of us needs everything.

In this aspect we are going through a certain development. At the moment, we are in a state where we can realize that any forward movement, any progress, and any development leads us to destruction precisely because everything is based on our egoistic nature.

If this nature were absent, we could live a perfect life. Strength, knowledge, and opportunities, man has everything except for one thing: we always stumble upon our egoism. No matter what good we start, as they say: “good impulses are destined for us,” all this disappears under the onslaught of egoism. He, like the devil, takes us and through some path quietly leads us off the right path.

Therefore, until we correct our egoism, we cannot do anything with ourselves.

Comment: Today, artificial intelligence is successfully developing that can be taught both ethical principles, philosophy, and even moral choice. But if the machines are programmed by a sadist, they will surpass any human atrocities. At the same time, they will not be tormented by conscience, they will flawlessly carry out any order.

My Response: But people too are not tormented by conscience. This does not necessarily require a machine. We do not know what programmers do to us through computers. Their goals are far from good.

Question: Where can this lead if a person continues to go this way in his natural development?

Answer: To the realization of the evil of our nature, which we need to correct.

If we do not correct ourselves, then we will constantly come across very painful, increasing internal, personal problems, from which we will not be able to hide. They say, this is the society, the state, the world, this is not me. If we do not deal with this immediately, then we will lead ourselves to death, and not immediately, but through great suffering.

Any problems will affect each of us more and more until we finally decide that we must correct our nature. Only this! Nothing else is needed. Our nature is the source of all our problems.

We should not think of all this as computerization, programmers, or the elite. We need to correct the nature of all mankind and of every human being.

Question: Currently many people believe that the Third World War is already underway. Everyone from futurologists to the Pope speak about this openly. Many agree that this war is taking place in fragments. It has not yet appeared in the overall picture, but it is already going on in many planes.

There is even a more exotic view that the Third World War is a war against the coronavirus, since the consequences that the virus has brought to humanity are comparable to the consequences of the First and Second World Wars.

Do you think the Third World War really awaits us?

Answer: Unfortunately, I think it could be. Not whether it will happen or not—I do not want to talk about that. But the fact that it can be—yes.

The fact is that humanity is in constant competition, competition with each other is not yet a world war. A world war is when we want to defeat each other by destroying people. At least, we do not see it now.

In addition, it is also impossible to talk about the virus as a weapon. We do not see any direction in it. There is no need to attribute it to the Chinese or anyone else. Naturally, there are all sorts of ideas, plans, but this is not a war.

The Third World War means a nuclear war, when the huge nuclear forces of the superpowers would be brought into action. I do not want to think that this will happen, but it is possible.

Question: Will there ever be peace in the world?

Answer: One day there will be. Someday by making people realize that there is no other way, and by raising everyone above egoism,  or through great suffering, when a small number of people will remain on Earth, and they will realize that they have no other choice but to start their development anew in a completely different plane, in complete mutual assistance, mutual bestowal, and interconnection.
