Energy Vampires

Laitman_632.1Question: Each of us has energy. It is like fuel for us. How can a person distinguish between animal and spiritual energy?

Answer: It does not matter whether it is spiritual or animal. Through his attitude, a person divides this energy into spiritual and corporeal forms.

Question: How can we use energy constructively?

Answer: We need to expand the connections between all parts of the universe.

Comment: There is an expression, “you are wasting yourself on the wrong person,” that is, you are wasting your energy on the wrong person.

My Response: I do not know why one would expend energy on a person at all, whether the right or wrong one. I spend energy on my beloved self. I spend it in order to achieve the most perfect state in the world.

And if the perfect state is that I emanate from myself so that I can connect others and try to bring people to unity, equality, and to such rapprochement that they will discover a single field, a single force, that connects them, then I do this.

Comment: We are surrounded by people who possess certain qualities that interfere with this connection. Researchers advise removing such people from one’s life.

My Response: On which basis will I sort them if I myself am an egoist?

Question: How can we help a person see that everything that he sees outside of himself is actually inside of him? For example, there are people who like to complain. They come to tell us about their troubles and arouse our compassion. And, by this, they devour our energy. How can we work with such people?

Answer: Are you complaining? Do you feel bad? Here is a book for you; you will find the answer in it. And I hand him a beginning book on Kabbalah.

If a person feels bad, it is very good! It means that he can achieve truth, dig it out for himself, and fix his life so that he feels good. But, for this, he himself must work. Here are the instructions, go ahead!

Comment: Another category of people is debtors. Nowadays, it is impossible to live without borrowing from someone, either money or things. But you must always remember that debt must be repaid.

There are people who forget about it and do not return. And this forms a negative state, negative energy.

My Response: A person generally believes that everyone owes him!

Question: Who can a person owe? And in general, is it good or bad to be in debt?

Answer: I believe that I owe the whole world. To be honest, I owe the whole world my absolute correct participation in everything, all over the world!

If the world is not corrected, then I am to blame! And I have to dig out more and more to find out where my participation in the world is, so that I can see the world as corrected? How should I correct myself in order to see the world as complete?

Question: And how should you correct yourself?

Answer: For bestowal, for love. And then I will see everyone corrected. How does a mother see her child? He is perfect. That is all. Perfect. Nothing to add.

If I develop love for this world, then I will see it as perfect.

Comment: There are deceivers. It is said that one must always keep his promises. And if a man deceived you once, then again, and again, soon, he simply overwhelm you with an insidious and unscrupulous lie.

My Response: But he, perhaps, does not know about this at all. I promise nothing to anyone, but for some reason they come to me with complaints anyway.

So it is best for us not to complain to anyone. Do you have any accusations, any misunderstandings? Turn them to yourself. And start seriously working on them.

Question: Is lying a good quality?

Answer: It depends to whom and about what one lies. It is good to lie to yourself. If any quality exists in nature, it is necessary. The only problem is how to use it correctly.

Therefore, come to us, study, and you will see that there are no bad qualities in nature. Everything is good if only it is used correctly.

laitman_545Question: How do you, in turn, help the planet and nature?

Answer: I do so by revealing its general, global, mutually interdependent laws, by explaining them to others, and by trying to ensure that they study them from Kabbalistic sources and reveal this nature in themselves as well.

In principle, Kabbalah is a process of self-discovery. Thus, by advancing, people would bring positive forces into our world.

Question: How can one make his loved ones realize and admit their mistakes?

Answer: Only by setting an example and not through moralizing. Just set an example for them, demonstrate an action that they can learn from without words.

Question: How can one overcome the fear of being judged and criticized?

Answer: No need to fight it. Fear is useful. It should constantly compel us to move forward, to get excited, to try and build explanations correctly.

Critique is also helpful. How many criticize and scold me! But I believe they support me in this way. I love the people who stood their ground and opposed me over the course of many years. I know and respect them. They allowed me to think even more about what they are saying and find new, better answers, more detailed explanations. In general, it is impossible otherwise.

Answers To Your Questions, Part 247

laitman_283.01Question: My small children do not listen to me despite my endless efforts. I know that I am the main reason. It is as if I am locked up inside the cage of my character, my upbringing, and behaviors that I absorbed from my family. I physically feel that it disturbs me, but I cannot change anything. What should I do, and how should I build normal relations with my kids?

Answer: You need to be equal to them and to set an example for them!

Laitman_507.05Why Produce Offspring?

Question: Very often, children ask their mother: “Why did you give birth to me? I didn’t ask for it.” How can we answer this question?

Answer: If a child asked me: “Why did you give birth to me?” I would say: “Because it is the law of nature.”

I must produce an offspring just as they gave birth to me so that together, consistently, over generations, we correct the general egoism that exists in each of us in a small volume.

I correct the ego a little, you correct it a little, and so does each of us. In this way, all of humanity is moving toward the general correction. Therefore, we must give birth to children.

The Torah says that a family should have two children: a boy and a girl. But if in one family there are not two children, then some other family makes up for it.

Question: What should be the correct intention of a woman engaged in Kabbalah toward giving birth to a baby so that this is not a corporeal desire but a spiritual one?

Answer: The intention should be only for bestowal. Therefore, both in conceiving and the upbringing of children, it is desirable to be in the intention to give. And talk to them about it all the time. Gradually, they will get used to these words and become interested in their inner meaning.

What Should We Allow Children To Do And What Should Be Prohibited?

laitman_962.1Question: In a school in Israel, a 4th grade student hits teachers. In fact, the behavior of children in schools has become, if not aggressive, then uncontrollable. That is, the child, according to the remarks of the teacher, can hit him and push him, not to mention that he can simply contradict him.

Where is the line between permitted and prohibited when a person grows, understanding his capabilities and, yet, not crossing the boundaries of uncontrollability?

Answer: It depends on education. In accordance with what you give to a person, you can allow him to be within certain boundaries.

Question: Can children be punished?

Answer: It depends on the punishment and how it is perceived.
Punishment should be seen as a correction. When I take a child and ask him,
“Did you do the right thing?”
– No.
“Why did you do that?”
– I wanted to. It seemed to me.
“Do you understand that there is a little devil in you who is pushing you to do this?”
– Yes.
“How do we get this little devil out of you? Try yourself to weigh your act and punishment. The punishment will no longer be a punishment but a correction so that the next time you will not hear this evil devil, so that he will not allow you to do stupid things!”

We discuss this with him. And then he himself will weigh the situation and say what he thinks about it.

Question: So it turns out to be like a game?

Answer: This is not a game; this is working on errors. It is correcting the mistakes of nature.

Question: You said that a judge is one who can judge himself over his own egoism. How can a person move to such a position so that he can see himself in the present, see himself in the future, and still judge the situation correctly, if it is, for example, a child?

Answer: There is a lot to learn. It is necessary to compare all the facts, study the nature of humankind and the world around us, somehow explain the science of Kabbalah, and reveal it to everyone, including children. We need to be open with them, talk about our problems and about our nature as that which exists in us and does not depend on us, and discuss how we can fight this and how we can balance it. All of this must be the subject of judgement.

And then a person will begin to relate objectively to himself and to others. He will understand, “Yes, this is my weakness, but this is his. How can we balance the negative and positive forces?” Only in this way can I come to the right society.

The world, from day to day, shows that we cannot educate a person about anything except for the right attitude to the world, to ourselves, and to people. And that’s it.

Question: What should this correct attitude be based upon?

Answer: The right relationship should be based on the realization of evil and good, which we are composed of, and how we can balance them in ourselves, in parents, in children, and between everyone. Relations are objective, relations are absolutely open! Do not hide anything.

What should I hide? I am created this way and I have to fix myself. How can society fix me, myself, my parents, and everything? Everyone should be this way. So all of us are engaged in open self-correction. This should be the schooling.

Question: What can children be allowed and what should they not be allowed to do?

Answer: I gave money to my son at the age of 16 to travel around the whole world. He was in Europe, India, and various other countries. After that, he returned and said, “Never again.” This is what I want. I wanted him to see all of this so that he would understand that it was not his .
Why am I saying this? It must be allowed.

Question: And what can be allowed for children in primary school or preschool-aged children so that they understand we must be guided by certain values, that these are our foundation, and that others are anti-values that we cannot afford to acquire?

Answer: I am not a psychologist, especially not a child psychologist. I just know that we need to raise a child in accordance with his inclinations and all the time I must show him an example. Example! Children are brought up by examples.

Today we have a lot of examples from all over the world that our children see, and, therefore, this is a big problem. I believe that it is necessary to organize the right, serious environment around a person because only this can educate him.

The most important thing is providing an example. And if a person has bad examples including all kinds of films about robbers, thieves, rapists, etc., then, naturally, he will grow up like that. He will willfully become so, involuntarily, because he absorbs these examples and writes them into himself as if copying and eventually repeating them.

It is you who paint the future world into small people today. They will grow and begin to implement it. You must take it all together and do it all in the name of the next generation. It should be integral to state and world politics.

The main problem facing mankind is education; it is needed in order to make the next generation right, happy, wise, and kind.

Remark: There is a very deep foundation in the fact that in Jewish families, and in Israel in particular, children are allowed everything. They can do everything. This instills in them a certain courage and craving for risk. They are not afraid of anything since fear is not brought up in them.

My Comment: They do not put pressure on them because, under pressure, the feeling of a person’s confidence in the world disappears. And so, they are born confident, self-confident, arrogant, and so on. But still, such an attitude toward the world that “the world is beneath me,” is the right property. A person should feel this way.

But, treating the world like this, do I look at it with love? Am I looking at it in the right way? Or in a purely consumeristic, selfish way? This is already a problem. And today, it is not really being solved.

Question: How can we instill love within impudence and self-confidence so that it becomes confidence, respect; something that connects a person with another and does not repel people from one another?

Answer: We cannot do this if we do not direct humankind to the higher power within nature. All of nature is governed by an upper force. All of nature is arranged, wound up, and imprisoned only to bring a person to his best, highest state.

If a person receives this direction, then he correctly interprets everything that happens to him in life with people and within nature, and he knows how to correctly use all of these data.

Reveal Your Soul Now In This Life

laitman_963.1Question: As far as I understand, the positive side of nature that we need to attract is to begin respecting nature. When people go to the country, they leave a lot of garbage behind, and few people think about the fact that they need to clean up after them.

What is the use of positive energy? How can we say that from now on I will take responsibility, I will be a conscious person who understands the forces of nature and lives on a higher frequency?

Answer: Thank you for your question, but we are talking about a completely different level of influencing nature. After all, our human nature is absolute egoism. Even all our seemingly positive, good, kind actions, love for children, for the world, and so on, come only from egoism. Our world is controlled by only one force. The second force is concealed and we must reveal it. Therefore, people do not understand what they should do.

It is not enough for us to treat each other nicely, this will not change anything. There were many such attempts in history. We must learn how to attract the positive force of nature, the plus that would begin to act alongside the minus, and we will exist between these two poles.

Then, certainly, we will find out what a perfect, eternal world and eternal existence are. We will understand that a person exists not only in the earthly form (physical body), but there is something eternal in a person, called the soul, and it must be revealed while living in this world now, today, here.

We need to reveal our future states, that is, the eternal perfect world that exists around us, but we do not see because we perceive only through our egoistic qualities. This is all we need to learn and gradually explain to people.

And they must understand that a person living in this world must rise to the next, new degree and begin to feel the true world.

This is possible. I have students who have attained this. And the system we study and implement is called the wisdom of Kabbalah. It allows you to do this.

Question: Are you talking about universal love that we can call absolute love?

Answer: No, you cannot call this absolute love because I cannot love evil. I just want people to treat each other with this goodness that is inherent in nature.

Then, through the correct system of good and evil, we will be able to distinguish, as black and white, the true picture of the world. The veil that hangs over us will disappear and we will see with our inner and outer vision that we neither exist on a small planet nor in some closed volume of the cosmos but in completely different, upper dimensions. This we must reveal now, today, in this life.

What else do we exist for? Is it in order to fulfill ourselves with small pleasures and die peacefully?

Question: You are saying that we should not love evil. However, there are a lot of aggressive people in the world and a lot of evil comes from them. What creates this aggression? How can it be cured?

It seems to me that true absolute love helps illuminate the dark side of a person’s soul. Is there a cure for this aggression and evil?

Answer: Patience and example.

Patience against a person’s evil and a good example that he could understand. Nothing else.

“Has The New Coronavirus Infected Any Children?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: Has the new coronavirus infected any children?

As we start to reopen the economy, we see an anticipated intensification of the coronavirus unfolding—its infecting more and more children.

In the United States, United Kingdom and Spain, children are getting infected and dying.

As we continue the coronavirus era with the predicament of trying to get the economy moving again, we need to use our inventiveness and ingenuity to find new solutions to this new problem.

In other words, now, when our tight interdependence and interconnectedness is staring us in the face, we need to think about how we can realize such interdependence and interconnectedness positively.

More than ever, we are being shown how our health depends on the health of everyone around us, and so we’re necessitated to each take personal responsibility for the health of others. In other words, we have been placed into a situation where we depend on our mutual responsibility and consideration of each other in order to survive and live healthy lives.

With the increasing cases of children becoming infected, a new red alert sounds: Not only are we dependent on each other, now our children—who we thought were immune to this disease—are just as dependent.

Therefore, I hope we will move forward with more consideration and responsibility of each other, as we will be increasingly shown how living lives of indifference, estrangement and neglect of each other will only lead to more and more problems and suffering.

Coronavirus Consequence: Increased Divorces In China

Laitman_632.2Remark: As you know, in China people are very disciplined. They were told to sit in closed apartments and they sat. They were told to wear masks, so they did. Everything is very precise there. Therefore, the virus began to decline and China is returning to normal.

But there is a different question. People sat indoors together for a prolonged period of time. Husband with wife and so on. Now a flurry of divorce proceedings has begun in China.

The city of Fuzhou even introduced a limit of only 10 divorces per day. These are consequences of the virus: the collapse of families, the breakdown of relations between people.

My Comment: People in China are different in general . They worked 15-hour days. Suddenly they are together for these 15 hours. You can go crazy! They did not know each other.

They knew each other only when they interacted at home. That is all. Suddenly they saw: Is this my wife? It was not enough just to ask: What is your name? This is the extent to which many people currently do not interact with each other.

If they do interact, then it is not with each other. What about the kitchen? What are we going to eat? What is here and what is there? That is, outside of myself. Outside of you and outside of me. Something between us.

Question: Doesn’t it seem that the virus turned out to be a test of family relationships for people?

Answer: Yes, they did not have family relationships. They were forced to start a family, get married. They ended up together. Even though they had been living together for 20 years, this was not called life. Now it turns out that this is called life and family. No one agrees.

Question: You are known as an adversary of divorces. You always say that it is the last resort. The most extreme because the family has children and so on.

Still, how do people coexist? Now many are in this state—together in enclosed spaces, and suddenly they begin to notice each other, as you say. How can they not break up their life together?

Answer: First, we must accept a priori that we all are not angels. All of us are twisted by fate, by the upper force. None of us are holy. Naturally, we do not even know each other. We do not know ourselves. Therefore, you can change many, many times in your life. But when you have children you are responsible for them.

It does not matter what your relationship with your wife or husband is, you carry a responsibility for the children you gave birth to. You cannot buy it off with money. You must participate in their formation, growth, and education.

So, you can give millions to your children, but still, they will not consider you a father if you are not with them. On the contrary, you and your whole family may be starving, but if you are with them, they will consider you a father and will not blame you for leaving them.

Therefore, divorce is the most final, I would even say, beyond-final, foreign state. If there are children, I would not allow divorces. If there are no children, then this is another matter.

Talk to many, mostly to the fathers who left their children, and ask them how do the children relate to them? You will hear (I heard it many times in my life) that the children never approved of the father because he left them. He left them! He did not leave the mother, but left them! They perceive this as a betrayal. You cannot pay it off with money. Not with anything!

Remark: See what the virus has done. Still, a person should ask himself these questions.

My Comment: This is because there is no proper education. This is why they see family as such. The virus is doing us justice by gradually showing us, by exposing our entire system as completely unacceptable for the existence of the human race.

Education is what humanity needs. All resources, everything that is now being freed up, except for those necessary for existence, must be used toward education.

The Virus Now Hits Children Too

Dr. Michael LaitmanFrom My Facebook Page Michael Laitman 5/10/20

We’re seeing the emergence of the expected escalation: The virus is infecting children. In Spain, the UK, and in the US, children are beginning to get sick and die. At the same time, we’re “reopening the economy.” Stuck between the rock and the hard place, we have to start thinking outside the box. We have to start looking at the countless studies that prove that positive social connections produce a stronger immune system.

Today, when we are all interconnected, when, as Andrew Cuomo put it, “An outbreak anywhere is an outbreak everywhere,” we have to look out for each other. We have to understand that if we don’t, we will start losing not only our parents, but our children, too.

Granted, we can’t shut down the economy indefinitely, but we can and must learn how to open our hearts to one another. We must, because our lives depend on it. We must, because the lives of our children depend on this. We must learn how to think of one another because in a world of hatred, apathy, and alienation, there cannot be life.

Should Children Be Taught Kabbalah?

627.2Question: Can the point in the heart awaken during childhood, when someone passes away?

Answer: Yes, such questions often come up at a young age. Then, we usually forget about them and the point in the heart can awaken at a more mature age. Therefore, we do not need to teach children the wisdom of Kabbalah. It is better to wait until they grow up and start when they are at least teenagers.

Question: Usually, children often ask: “Why do people die?”

Answer: Everyone has such questions. But it does not mean that this is a question about the meaning of life. These are simply ordinary childish questions. We need to answer them somehow, soothe the children, but nothing more than that.
