Answer: I assure you that it is not a great gift to be my children and grandchildren. They carry a certain weight of my life. In fact, their life is different, but it is in no way easier or better.

They are in no way luckier with their souls than others. They have more opportunities to correct themselves, but at the same time, they receive a massive extra addition of egoism.

My son lives in Canada. He is a publisher. My eldest daughter is a doctor of biological sciences, a famous person in the world, dreams of defeating cancer of the female glands. My second daughter is a philosopher who graduated from the faculty of philosophy (Kabbalah) and works in our organization. Whether they are happy or not, lucky or not, I do not know.

The fact is that in all cases of life, a person has everything he or she needs to achieve an absolutely complete spiritual state. Therefore, no one can complain. Even the smallest, lowest, poorest, most narrow-minded person sees what conditions he or she was given from above will come to understand that these conditions, no matter how incredible it may seem to us, are the most suitable for achieving perfection.

Question: What is required for the development of the soul? How does the process occur? How can you understand and feel that you are on the right path?

Answer: Only one thing is required for the development of the soul: to begin to develop it by drawing closer to others. For this, we usually build small groups that we call “tens” because it is desirable that the group is comprised of ten people, but it can be fewer than ten. By drawing closer to each other in the ten, people begin to feel certain spiritual laws that operate within it.

This is a very interesting state. We can make of ourselves a laboratory in which we will feel ourselves under the influence of a special force, or the Creator.

In other words, as we start drawing closer to each other, we begin to feel how the Creator manifests between us, and as we move away from each other we feel how He distances from us. The Creator is in the center of this small group, and this is how we can define, clarify, and reveal Him. This state does not come immediately, we need to approach it. Give it a try.

By building the connection between us in spite of the egoistic forces that push us away, we will begin to feel it. It is the rapprochement above rejection that will cause a certain sense of the revelation of something in us. This “something” will be the harbinger of the attainment of the Creator. It is quite complicated and doesn’t come immediately, but it is precisely what our workshop is in practice.

This means that every person from Israel is guaranteed to finally attain all the wonderful attainments that the Creator had contemplated in the Thought of Creation to delight every creature. And one who has not been awarded in this life will be granted in the next life, etc., until one is awarded completing His Thought, which He had planned for him.

And while one has not attained perfection, the Lights that are destined to reach him are considered Surrounding Lights. A person should try to develop the quality of bestowal, the quality of connection between the shattered parts of the common creation, of the common soul, to connect them together, and to participate in this as much as possible. This is the implementation of the condition of “love your neighbor as yourself.”

To the extent that he approaches or even implements the condition of “love your neighbor,” the inner energy shines upon him, the so-called love, the connection between the broken parts.

It attracts these parts to each other and helps them form one single whole, one soul, already on a new level because egoism has entered between them with its minus and the plus became higher than the minus; that is, it grew due to minus.

Therefore, a person receives a huge new soul, the quality of bestowal, the quality of attainment called the upper world.

Question: While in the biological body, a person, as if, enters the sensation of this common soul. Will one continue to live in it once the body dies?

Answer: One has nothing to do with the other. Our animal body is necessary in order to begin to enter this soul, to feel it and to begin building it.

Question: What happens after the death of the physical body? Does consciousness disappear?

Answer: Consciousness through the animal body disappears, and consciousness through the soul remains.

Question: What if a person has not yet developed a soul?

Answer: Then he must again dress into an animal body.

Answer: Not really. Certain sensations remain, but they are very illusory since a person has not yet left his egoism. Therefore, he only feels certain fluctuations, and again feels himself in this world.

Question: If everyone said that the soul is the most important thing and the body is nothing, people would probably have a different attitude toward death?

Answer: There is no doubt.

Question: Why don’t they?

Answer: First, because no one in the general population feels this, and second, it is anti-egoistic. After all, if this is directed against egoism, then who wants to work against it?

Here it is necessary to think, to make efforts, to act somehow, to organize something. What will I get from this? Nothing in this world: no food, no sex, no family, no fame, no knowledge.

Question: It is probably easier for a person to live with what is thought up in religions about the existence of a future world. But how much does the hope that there is something somewhere psychologically improve a person’s life?

Answer: Today, to improve a person’s life psychologically, it is unnecessary to be religious.

We see religions gradually fading. Recently, a lot of non-religious people have appeared who despise different beliefs of people because religions do not specifically answer our questions.

If a person needs to transform this life a little, he has Hollywood, the Internet, or something else. That’s enough for him. He will create any illusory world for himself.

What is there after death? No one knows. Therefore, a person no longer believes in this. His ego outgrew these tales and can no longer believe, much less sacrifice his time and intellect.

Question: Can a person who lives in this world, in his biological body, influence his soul in some way?

The fact is, a corporeal body is given to us so we could start to identify with the soul, reveal it, develop it, and from a certain state, as if, exit outside of the body and start working there.

Question: As a Kabbalist, do you still take care of your body? Is it important to you?

Answer: Of course. Due to the fact that I exist in my body, I attain, develop, and correct my soul. However, the body itself participates in this only indirectly.

Question: Does it mean developing one’s soul is possible only from a state when a person exists in his corporeal body?

Answer: Yes, but the soul does not relate to the body, meaning that when I live in a body, I develop my soul.

Question: And how is it done?

Answer: Our soul is called our desires. The desires can be either negative, egoistic ones or positive, altruistic ones. We work on them so the altruistic desires would always prevail over the egoistic ones; we build our soul.

The soul is the knowledge of the upper world; if the soul could grow without knowledge, it would bring harm to it. That is why the soul is given an opportunity to act only to the extent of the acquired knowledge.

In our world, I can press buttons on some device, use various engines, and at the same time, pose a threat to myself and other people, that is, pressing the activation button of an atomic bomb.

This is impossible in the spiritual world. There, I can press any “buttons” and launch the spiritual systems of interaction between people only to the extent that I understand what I am doing. I am totally connected to this action; I am in it and above it. Only to the extent that I comprehend all this, can I decide anything. But nothing else.

The spiritual world differs from our world in that in our world a person can perform ugly, unconscious actions, without understanding what he is doing. In practice, this is how we all act because the spiritual world is hidden and the consequences of what we do are hidden from us.

I do something and what comes out, comes out. Therefore, we are marking time and are very limited in our actions, which do not have any proper development because we do not see it, do not feel it.

But after crossing into the spiritual world, we feel completely different. We see the results of our actions, and if we fully agree with them, then we start implementing them.

A person starts to act according to the knowledge acquired and his soul grows. The soul is the knowledge of the upper world. Growing up, the soul gets the opportunity to act to the extent of the ever more acquired knowledge. The result is the development of the soul.

So the child’s strength increases gradually, according to the extent of the accumulated knowledge. After all, if he had received strength before knowledge, he would have harmed himself.

There is no such thing in the spiritual world. There, we get the opportunity to act only to the extent of the knowledge we acquire.

Therefore, today, no matter how hard we try, we will not get the opportunity to act in the spiritual world because we still do not have any knowledge about it. As soon as one receives some knowledge about the spiritual world, to the extent of this knowledge, he will be able to act. This knowledge will guarantee that we will not act badly.
