“Europe Supports Terrorism against Israel” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “Europe Supports Terrorism against Israel

Less than a year ago, Israel presented evidence that the Palestinian organization Al-Haq is a terror supporting organization. As a result, the European Union cut off funding to the organization. A week ago, the EU suddenly announced that it had found no evidence to support Israel’s argument and announced that it would resume funding. Shortly after, nine European countries issued a joint statement that they, too, will resume funding of Al-Haq and other organizations that support Palestinian terrorism against Israel, claiming that Israel had presented no evidence to support its claim.

At the same time, the Israeli organization NGO Monitor said that it did provide European governments ample proof that these organizations finance or otherwise support terrorist activities. The organization decried the countries’ “deliberate ignoring of materials presented to them for years.”

I have no doubt that the organizations that Israel pointed out do support terrorists and terrorism. However, I am just as confident that trying to get the EU or its countries to stop funding them is utterly pointless. The simple truth is that the EU, as an organization, and the member states of the EU, support these Palestinian organizations because they, too, want to revoke the State of Israel.

We can complain to them and we can protest, but as long as we do not advance the one thing we must advance—our internal cohesion—and present it to the world as an example of unity, we will not see any favorable approach toward Israel.

Currently we are setting an example of division. Accordingly, the entire world is uniting against us and with our enemies.

If we are divided, the world wants not only to revoke Israel, but to wipe the Jews off the face of the earth. There is no in-between here; it is either or.

By “unity,” I am not referring to unity with Israel’s enemies against adversaries from our own folk. This does not show the world that we are united, but rather emphasizes our division and increases the world’s hatred toward us. By “unity,” I mean uniting with our own people despite the chasm of views between us, and without erasing it, so as to show what we are overcoming. This will give the nations the example they need in order to begin to unite among themselves, and they will thank us for it.

We need not be afraid of criticism. We must be confident that all we need is to be a light to the nations—an example of solidarity, mutual responsibility and love of others. If we do this, the world will cherish us and thank us.

The world unites with us when we unite with one another, and unites against us when we turn against each other, as is happening now. Our success, therefore, depends entirely on the connection between us. If we nurture our unity, we will thrive. If we do not, the world will see our existence as redundant and disruptive, and will seek to do away with us.

Through the connection between us, we determine where the world’s forces will go. When we are united, the world directs its energy toward connection and everyone enjoys the benefits of unity. When we are divided, the forces of the world turn against each other, wars and destruction ensue, and the whole world blames us for it. This is the simple equation of our lives.

“To what do you attribute the recent upswing in violent attacks against Jewish people?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: To what do you attribute the recent upswing in violent attacks against Jewish people?

The core reason for hatred and attacks against Jews is that there is no mutual responsibility among the Jewish people.

The foundation of the Jewish people is ideological, not biological: that we once united according to the tenet “love your friend as yourself” during the increasingly divisive times of ancient Babylon, and by doing so, became a conduit for the force of love and bestowal to enter among us and spread to others.

Since those times, human egoism grew and we lost our sense of such connection. However, whether we know it or not (and the vast majority of us today are unaware of it), we hold potential and the method to achieve a state that can elevate humanity to a state of common love.

Why does achieving such a state of connection hold immense importance today? It is because reaching a state of love among humanity holds the key to solving every problem humanity faces today on all scales: personal, social, economic, ecological and global.

The fact that hatred and attacks against Jews have been on the rise in recent times is due to the need for love and connection to enter the world—and the Jews hold the key to unite. In the mid-2000s, I warned American Jews about a forthcoming rise in antisemitic crimes and threats through various lectures across the country, and the idea was publicly dismissed as nonsense by various American Jews in attendance. Today, however, we are in the midst of exponentially increasing antisemitic crimes and threats, and the solution to the problem—the unity of the Jewish people, forming ties of mutual responsibility—remains elusive.

By failing to acknowledge our need to come together, we invite hatred and attacks upon ourselves. On the contrary, if we develop the power of unification among us, then we will see an inversion of that very hatred into its opposites of love and respect for a nation that brings goodness to the world. It is my hope that we will take heed to our need to unite above all of our differences, and by doing so spread the unifying force to humanity at large.

“At Highland Park, the Murderer Went for Jews” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “At Highland Park, the Murderer Went for Jews

Four of the seven victims of the Highland Park mass shooting were Jewish, and probably many of the dozens who were injured. According to a JTA report, “Although local authorities have not yet said whether they believe the shooter’s motivation was antisemitic, [a] Highland Park rabbi reported that the suspect, whom authorities said had pre-planned his attack for weeks, had previously visited a synagogue: his own.” Moreover, “Yosef Schanowitz, the rabbi of the Highland Park Chabad, told the Orthodox news site Anash that he recognized the alleged shooter, who … had been turned away from Chabad by its armed security guard during a Passover Seder this year.” About half of Highland Park’s residents are Jewish; this mass murder did not aim at random victims; the murderer went for Jews.

I have said it more times than I can count, but no one seems to listen: The Jews in the US are in danger, mortal danger. The danger is only increasing, and at some point, these warning signs will explode, as has always happened to the Jews throughout the bloody history of our people.

Nothing will change that trajectory unless American Jews do what they must. They will suffer such excruciating torments that will force them to change their ways. Currently, if you speak with American Jews, they still feel on the top of the world. They feel entitled and superior. It is bound to hurt them; pride is the bane that has always hurt the Jews, in the end.

If American Jewry wants to avoid appearing in Simon Rawidowicz’s next edition of Israel—The Ever-Dying People, they must reevaluate everything. First and foremost, they must realign themselves with the basic Jewish tenets of unity and solidarity.

By unity, I am not referring to sympathy with Israel’s enemies, thereby displaying their aversion toward the State of Israel. What I mean is placing unity among Jews above all other values and establishing it among all factions, views, denominations, and opinions in our nation.

Jewish unity is the cure for antisemitism and the road to safety not because it makes Jews strong, but because it is the calling of our people to show the world that it is possible to unite without encroaching on people who think or feel differently, but simply by placing the value of unity above all other values. This is what the world expects from all Jews, whether or not it articulates it in explicit words.

Our nation was born when our ancestors gave up their pride and united “as one man with one heart.” Since then, it has been our duty to repeat our ancestors’ feat in every generation. When we succeed, we thrive. When we fail, we suffer.

Currently, American Jews are failing miserably in the test of unity. Admittedly, Israelis are failing, too, but in this piece, I am referring to the situation in America.

Either way, both communities will pay heavily for their division, and will have to choose between unity and success or division and destruction. This, in fact, has been our choice throughout the generations.*

“Where in Europe Is Good for Jews?” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “Where in Europe Is Good for Jews?

The answer to the question of what are the best places to be Jewish should be an unequivocal “anywhere.” Unfortunately, that is not the case. The fact that such a question was the main topic in a recent study by the European Jewish Association reveals the heightened prevalence of antisemitism. According to that research, Belgium and Poland are the worst countries for Jews while Italy and Hungary are the best.

The survey examined the lives of Jews in the 12 European countries with the largest Jewish communities. The parameters studied were governmental measures against antisemitism, security of the Jewish community, freedom of religion, promotion of Jewish culture and the country’s voting record in favor or against Israel at the United Nations.

There is nothing new under the antisemitic sun. Belgium and Poland are known as countries that despise Jews, while Italy and Hungary hate us a little less. I have traveled to Europe many times, both for work and family vacations, and every time I step on European soil, I feel an antisemitic atmosphere that makes me uncomfortable and like I have no country other than Israel.

The situation has worsened over time. In the first decades after the Holocaust the atmosphere in Europe was still stable; today hatred of the Jews raises its head proudly and fearlessly. Are the Jews seeing the warning lights in the increased openly displayed acts of antisemitism? Not really.

In Belgium, for example, the government has significantly reduced security around the Jewish communities, banned kosher slaughter and is considering banning circumcision. But for the Jews of Belgium “it is good to be a Jew in the country,” in their own words. As it has usually happened throughout history, Jews bury their heads in the sand and are prepared to get used to any situation instead of exerting their strength through Jewish unity.

The phenomenon of antisemitism is not revealed to ultimately destroy some local Jews, but it is a natural response designed to remind Jews why we exist in the world. We have no possibility of defending ourselves against hatred, except temporarily and insufficiently. The only protection against antisemitism is the realization of our original destiny as the people of Israel.

Jews must unite against the crystallizing hatred, not as a frightened flock of sheep encircled by a snarling pack of wolves, but because it is our call to action to become “a light unto nations” through Jewish unity. In a state of cohesion, a supreme power emerges as a positive force that radiates to all humanity.

Conversely, as long as we, Jews, abandon our spiritual role, we slowly disengage from the very feeling of being Jews and instinctively understand that we have no right to knock hard on the table of the nations and say, “Yes, we live here too! We have been here for generations and this is our place too!” In the absence of unification, the Jews bend and compromise until the wave of hatred passes, momentarily, because it never really goes away.

Although Israel is the Jewish state, our national home, I do not expect European Jews to immigrate here. Their mass emigration is neither a solution for them nor for us. Of course, there is no objection or prohibition, but it does not strengthen us in any way if it is not done with the full conviction of the true meaning of Israel in our lives.

Israel is a place for those who feel they cannot live anywhere else in the world and are willing to accept the laws of true Zionism: to transcend our selfish nature, mobilize for the good of others, connect internally and externally with other Jews to build a unique network, the abode of the Upper Force. This spiritual space is and will always be the safest place for every Jew.

“The Appeal of Evil” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “The Appeal of Evil

Following the rise in terrorist acts and violent crimes in Israel and the world over, the Israeli newspaper Ynet published an in-depth analysis on the topic of human brutality. The analysis tried to understand what causes certain people to become particularly evil, and if humanity can defeat the spreading cruelty within it. The interviewees in the analysis pointed out many factors that may cause people to become brutal. Brain structure, hormones, the mother’s nutrition during pregnancy, and drug and alcohol abuse were some of the physiological factors, while abuse, neglect, and growing up in a violent environment were among the social and emotional factors.

What was absent in the story, however, was the exponential growth in human self-centeredness, which has already come to the attention of many researchers, and which is the root cause of all forms of malice.

Self-centeredness, or narcissism, as social scientists refer to it, is the culprit behind the increasing level of cruelty in society. It is growing exponentially and is the reason for all the negative phenomena that have been intensifying in recent decades. Violence and cruelty are certainly the more painful symptoms, but financial crises, reckless depletion of natural resources, and the economic wars that have escalated around the world are also offshoots of the reckless selfishness that is intensifying by the day.

Everything has some level of selfishness. Every organism takes what it needs without regard for others’ needs. When all those self-centered desires clash with one another, they balance each other out and the result is that everyone gets what they need, and there is enough for everyone. In that state, the clashes between species keep them strong and healthy.

The problem begins with people. We cannot settle for taking only what we need. We constantly compare ourselves to others. We do not look at what we need, but at what others have, and we feel that we must have more than they do. As a result, we cannot be satisfied until we have more than everyone else.

Because we are compulsive competitors and incorrigibly jealous, we are growing increasingly avaricious. And as the world becomes more and more connected, we find more and more people to envy, until we feel that we must surpass all the people in the world. Eventually, we come to enjoy not only surpassing everyone, but humiliating everyone, degrading them, and hurting them, and we enjoy seeing them suffer.

Certainly, not everyone is like that. Very few among us have reached such levels of narcissism, but this is the trend. To varying degrees, we are all like that, and the trajectory of human development will make more and more people become pathologically selfish, with all its consequences.

Worse yet, the more violence becomes commonplace, the more people will become violent. And the more cruelty becomes acceptable, as is the case in a violent and abusive society, the more people will become cruel and abusive.

In the analysis, Prof. of History Gideon Graif said that evil is often simply more attractive. As a researcher of brutality during the Holocaust, he reached the conclusion that not all the Germans were sadistic, but many of them became so in the atmosphere that surrounded them in the death camps. In fact, he says, they may have even competed at being the cruelest.

Since the Holocaust, many experiments (such as The Stanford Prison Experiment) have shown that under certain circumstances, even the most normative person can become sadistic and abusive. Since we always compare ourselves to the environment, we have no choice in the matter; we are compelled to become a reflection of our social environment. If the environment is sadistic, we, too, will become that, and we will not feel that we are doing anything wrong; we will have no remorse and we will feel no need to justify our actions. On the contrary, we will feel that we are doing the right thing.

If we want to reverse the trend of growing violence, abusiveness, and alienation in society, we must begin to change the norms that we regard as acceptable. Since we are compelled to compare ourselves to others, we should see that our role models are conscientious people. If we want to decrease the level of alienation, we must give public accolades to those who excel in bringing people together, who increase solidarity in society, who exemplify supportive and positive relationships. When we show positive, non-violent role models, we will have a positive, non-violent society, and not a day sooner.

The Secret about the Jews that even They Do Not Know about

961.2

I regard the Jewish race as the born enemy of pure humanity and everything that is noble in it (Richard Wagner).

Comment: Richard Wagner, being a fervent anti-Semite, wrote that humanity should be liberated from the Jews and that there was no other means than total annihilation. He contended that the Jewish race was  especially the enemy of everything German.”

My Response: Germany is the heart of Europe, the center of Europe. It is a tremendous technological potential. These are serious people. It is the German character that is capable of serious decisions. Exactly that is why in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ahead of everyone else, the thought arises: “What is hindering our further progress?” Obviously, subconsciously and consciously people come to the conclusion that this is located somewhere in Judaism, among the Jews.

And Jews themselves do not know about it. Only a small part of them, the Kabbalists, know that in fact, the key to happiness, to the correct development of all mankind indeed resides with these people.

Question: Why, if we now live in such a period when this knowledge should be revealed, do the Jews themselves not know about it?

Answer: But they do not want to know!

Our organization exists exactly for the purpose of revealing this knowledge. We want everyone to know about it! We justify the nations of the world by saying that they naturally hate the Jews. Anti-Semitism is a natural condition and their hatred is fully justified. And we will explain to you why you hate us. After all, you don’t know why. We will disclose to you the real foundations of anti-Semitism. Be assured that you feel correctly, but find out why.

And we also want the Jews to find out why they are hated. Because they possess the key to happiness. They don’t know about it. But within Judaism, there is Kabbalah that tells us how to correct ourselves in order to pass, like Pinocchio with a golden key, through a secret door to the next world.

“The Alternative Network to ‘The Mapping Project’” (Times of Israel)

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “The Alternative Network to ‘The Mapping Project’

The Mapping Project is an undertaking closely resembling what was done during the Nazi era when Jewish businesses were singled out and marked in preparation for the Kristallnacht pogroms in 1938. The project—a database recently launched for Massachusetts which includes the addresses of synagogues, Jewish organizations, businesses, institutions and names of their staffers accused of being behind “the colonization of Palestine”—shows that the enemies of Israel are constantly adopting new and more daring forms of attack against us.

Those behind The Mapping Project, a new version of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, do not reveal their identities but are not shy about disclosing their dangerous intentions. “Our goal in pursuing this collective mapping was to reveal the local entities and networks that enact devastation, so we can dismantle them,” can be read on their website. The FBI is investigating the origin and potential threats of this initiative which links the support for Zionist causes to white supremacy, US “imperialism”, and “other harms” in society.

I hope our haters will not be able to weaken us, but there is still something to fear. They have great power because inside every person there is a potential antisemite that can be triggered, and the haters of Israel and the Jewish people in general can always be trusted to know how to move their tentacles and expand their reach.

Sadly, but not surprisingly, in many antisemitic initiatives such as the BDS movement and others, those helping our haters are Jews themselves. For generations, Jews have been associated with antisemites, and they are the greatest haters of their own nation when they reject the vocation to unite “as one man with one heart,” for which our nation was founded.

True Judaism works to sweeten the innate egoistic desire within every person and directs all human beings towards connection under the tenet, “love your neighbor as yourself,” as the supreme rule for the Jewish people. This same precept should also bring the rest of humanity to embrace and support one another and to connect with the Creator. That is the true Zionist approach. The opposite—meaning, separation, war, hatred, mutual rejection—is anti-Zionism.

There is such a big struggle and gap between these two opposing visions that there is no middle ground that connects them. Therefore, based on my own experience, there is no point in getting into arguments with antisemites. In the past, I have tried to talk to them logically. I invited them for open conversations hoping to change their minds, and nothing helped.

The silver lining of this situation is that antisemites actually help Zionists—by spitting fire at us, they prevent us from falling asleep on duty. This is how Jews from all walks of life wake up and come closer to realizing the Jewish-Zionist idea.

Now that the mapping project targeting us is emerging, we must strengthen and act beyond the mutual ego that separates us, create an ironclad bond between us, and through it connect with the force that controls everything in reality, the force which is the foundation of the Israeli nation.

We should not waste effort building any network especially to counter-attack our haters, but instead should build a network of connection and love between us, and through that, our haters will fall. We do not have to look in their direction; we have to look in our own direction, in how much we achieve a deep connection of our hearts, desires, passions, goals, so we can build one common goal of mutual support. This connection will be the solid and lasting Jewish network that no enemy that raises its head against us will be able to breach.

Give Peace to All of Humanity

400Comment: I read an article in the Russian newspaper News of the Week entitled “Academy of self-hatred,” which asserts that the number of Jews leading their fellow tribesmen to a second Holocaust is growing all over the world. They have honorary professorial titles, big names, and are reaching the point of self-forgetful love for those who long for the destruction of Israel with all its six million Jews.

They are Jews, and openly declare it. The only goal they pursue is to prevent a Jewish catastrophe, but a Jewish catastrophe in Gaza. These Jews are crying out for peace, demanding mass genocide of the Palestinians be stopped, the government of Apartheid be ended, and Israeli Nazism be done with.

My Response: I can understand them, and I will explain why, Israel was created and exists precisely to fulfill its historical mission. Not just to exist or to be a refuge for Jews from all over the world who come here to find a safe place to live. This is far from being a safe place. In principle, it is the most dangerous place. We live here like on a volcano.

However, we have gathered here to reveal the wisdom of Kabbalah and give it to all of humanity. This is our destiny!

This is why we came back to this land! This is why we have gathered here again! Only in this should we see ourselves and our purpose. If we do this, then we will justify the entire program of creation, our entire existence, and everything that has happened in the world so far.

Then there will be no more wars, no more hatred since everything negative in the world happens because egoism reigns in it, and we have a methodology of correcting it to universal love and with its help reaching the level of the Creator.

Question: Are you saying that those Jews who hate Jews are a manifestation of some kind of help?

Answer: Yes, this will give a boost. I do not see anything negative in the world at all. It all depends on how to apply it. They are right! Just as I do not blame anti-Semites, so I do not blame anti-Semitic Jews. I believe that it is necessary to use all these qualities in order to convey to everyone what kind of world we live in, why such desires arise in us, and how we can realize them correctly.

“Defiant Israeli Tourists Ignore Warnings” (Times of Israel)

Michael Laitman, On The Times of Israel: “Defiant Israeli Tourists Ignore Warnings

The Israeli character loves risks. It makes every daring experience like a movie full of action, filled with inexplicable pleasure, and provides a sting without which there is no feeling of life. It explains why despite the stern travel warnings and frequent reports of thwarted Iranian assassination attempts of Israeli citizens visiting Turkey, particularly Istanbul, thousands of Israelis continue traveling to that destination.

But one must act wisely and not ignore warnings, just as it is written: “A man should never stand in a place of danger and say that a miracle will be wrought for him, lest it is not.” (Babylonian Talmud). It is important to be careful.

Jews living in the Diaspora do not face this threat hovering over Israeli tourists with the same intensity. I remember when I was in Germany and England during periods when the Jews were targeted and warnings were given about potential antisemitic attacks. I saw whole families with small children walking in public with a carefree attitude, with yarmulkes on their heads and Star of David pendants around their necks.

Even in modern-day Iran, Jews live quietly and modestly and the Iranians understand them and have lived by their side for generations. On the other hand, Israelis are easy prey, a prime target for Iranians who yearn to take revenge after accusing Israel for a series of assassinations of Iranian military officers and scientists in their country.

Israelis have become accustomed to living in a hate-filled atmosphere, in a conflict-ridden Mediterranean region, in a reality of constant danger, so the thought of “nothing will happen to me” is stronger than any real threat.

The travel warnings issued for Israelis traveling to Turkey also include other cities and regions of the world. Nevertheless, it has not prompted them to make significant changes. They are not acting out of impudence or from defiance to demonstrate “here we are in spite of everything,” but at their root there is a belief in good fate, forever.

The writer Leo Tolstoy described this with great sensitivity: “What is the Jew? … What kind of unique creature is this whom all the rulers of all the nations of the world have disgraced and crushed and expelled and destroyed; persecuted, burned and drowned, and who, despite their anger and their fury, continues to live and to flourish. What is this Jew whom they have never succeeded in enticing with all the enticements in the world, whose oppressors and persecutors only suggested that he deny (and disown) his religion and cast aside the faithfulness of his ancestors?!

“The Jew – is the symbol of eternity. … He is the one who for so long had guarded the prophetic message and transmitted it to all mankind. A people such as this can never disappear. “The Jew is eternal. He is the embodiment of eternity.”

The root of this deep feeling that exists in the soul of every Jew is the thousands of years of connection to the Upper Force, of belonging to eternity, the feeling that we are continuing together as a people forever and that we have an important and dedicated role, to become “a light unto nations.” While this thought does not exist in our consciousness, it is hidden within our hearts.

This eternal feeling and the connection to the Upper Force should be felt in the heart of every person in the world, not just in the subconscious of Israelis. But the world is approaching this feeling in its own way, through suffering and anguish. Day by day the world feels embroiled in deep crisis. People experience wars and plagues and life becomes insufferable.

As troubles intensify, the world will understand that it is impossible to continue in this way, in a state of separation and hatred, which is the source of all evil, and as a result humanity will strive to change for the better and act toward unity. What is expected from Israel is to lead the way to unity, and thereby serving as a role model.

“UNRWA – Feeding the Fire of Hate” (Linkedin)

My new article on Linkedin “UNRWA – Feeding the Fire of Hate

UNRWA is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. It was established on December 8, 1949, and began to operate on May 1, 1950. Its mandate has been obscure from the very beginning, though it did mention relief for Palestine refugees.

In discussing its mandate, an official document published by UNRWA offers a rather vague explanation: “Attention is devoted to the evolution of some aspects of the Agency’s mandate, in particular human development and protection.” Subsequently, the article concludes with some remarks on the overall nature of UNRWA’s mandate, without specifying what those really are.

Given that every three years the mandate must be renewed, and that it was never actually defined, the organization grew beyond all proportions and became a behemoth that spends hundreds of millions of dollars, mainly on schools in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority. In fact, “Over half of the 2020 Programme Budget of US$ 806 [sic] million is earmarked for education under the priority that ‘school-aged children complete quality, equitable and inclusive basic education,’” according to the organization’s own statement.

The problem is that what UNRWA defines as “inclusive basic education” is actually a hate campaign against Israel, Israelis, and Jews. These hundreds of millions of dollars go toward feeding the fire of hate in the most volatile area in the world. Recently, the racist content has become so defamatory that even the EU Parliament, not exactly one of Israel’s guardians in the international community, condemned the organization.

The irony is that despite the hate campaign, the squandering of nearly a billion dollars every year, and its complete incompetence when it comes to actually helping refugees, the EU, as does the UN, the US, and the rest of the world, continue to fund UNRWA. Just recently, the EU voted to give UNRWA another boost worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

After decades of warnings about the inappropriate use of funds by UNRWA, we must finally accept that the organization’s use of funds is squarely within the boundaries of the nations’ intent. In other words, they have no problem with its support of antisemitic teachings because it expresses their opinions.

Worse yet, in the coming years, we should expect more and more such “aid” and “human rights” organizations to emerge out of the blue, and all of them will focus on one and only target: condemning, and eventually delegitimizing the existence of the State of Israel.

The only possible solution to the problem is not political, but spiritual. That is, the proliferation or lessening of anti-Israel and antisemitic organizations depends on the spirit of the Israeli people, and specifically our social cohesion. The more united we are, the greater the solidarity between us, the less powerful and successful these organizations will become.

For decades, the State of Israel has been trying to fight the incitement against it. For decades, matters have gone from bad to worse. Were it not for US vetoes, the sanctions against Israel would have made life very difficult for Israelis long ago. In recent years, there has been a growing tendency in the US, too—with the exception of the Trump administration—to lean more toward the Arabs and less toward Israel. In such a state, soon there will be no one protecting Israel in the UN Security Council and sanctions will start landing on the Jewish state.

However, Israel can reverse the trajectory. If it unites its ranks, its unity alone will turn the antagonism toward it into sympathy. We need not explain anything to anyone; we only need to show that we are one nation, united above all our divisions and disagreements. This is what the world needs to see from Israel, and this is what will legitimize our presence in the land of our fathers.
