Information Transmitter

548.02Question: When you hear yourself on a recording, for example, speaking during a lesson, do you clearly see how the upper force transmits information through you?

Answer: Of course, I feel it. Is there anything of my own in me? Possibly, but only when I am alone. When I am with others, I am not myself; I am merely a conduit through which something is transmitted from above. In this state, I try to adapt the information, convey it, and make myself the most suitable instrument for perception by external vessels, souls, that is, people. I try to find examples and diagrams, while simultaneously integrating with what descends to me, with what I contact from above.

I am entirely focused on being this buffer, this adapter, between the degree I can currently reveal for myself and my recipients, lowering it to the level they are at, and conveying it in the most accessible form for them.

Comment: For example, when someone is engaged in creative work, they often do not understand how it happens. They feel that it is not their achievement, but rather that information comes to them somehow. I see that you often say, “Ask a question, and you will receive an answer.”

My Response: It is not mysticism. It is actually internal work. Creative people also partially feel this way. Why do you need to ask a question? Because when I hear a question, I feel the student asking it, and I understand at what level I need to give the answer. I need to receive the question first; it is not possible otherwise.

These were the dynamics between me and Rabash, where I compelled him to descend in his answer to my level and much lower as much as possible. This prepared him for conducting lessons with other students.

Don’t Wait for the Answer

289Question: I try to love my friends and see their good qualities. And when I cannot, I try to ask the Creator to cover it. Should I expect any results from this work? Or is it enough for me to sit and wait for the Creator to answer me? What conclusion can I draw from this if I do not get an answer?

Answer: First of all, even though you are asking the Creator a question, don’t wait for the answer. Keep asking more new questions, because unlike you and me, the Creator does not need time to understand what you said to Him, to think of an answer, and somehow react to it. This only happens on the material level.

With the Creator none of this is needed! He is within you. As soon as you ask, the answer is immediately given to you. Whether you feel it or not is a different question. Therefore, you can keep asking without waiting for the answer, as the moment you ask, the answer is already there.

Don’t wait for the answer. Remember at least this.

Question: Okay. Should there be some kind of result?

Answer: No result, if there is one, there is one, if not, not. But you continue.

209Question: Should we adopt a law so that we no longer take offense at a friend, no longer are angry with a friend, but see in him or her as a manifestation of the Creator?

Answer: If this applies to friends and not to dissemination, to the work of the organization itself, then it is worth it.

Question: Maybe we should formulate ten laws based on the articles of Rabash?

Answer: Do this, please. Do you know how many notebooks I have in which I wrote, drew, and took notes all the time? Work with this.

But most importantly, after the lesson, read the articles and choose the most significant sentences from there. It is very important. Choose from the lesson materials and maybe from what I said.

In principle, if I speak, I already focus my attention on this. So this is already clearer.

The Driving Force of Development

115.06The recognition of the evil in our nature is the first stage of a person’s development; it is when they begin to understand and grasp the essence of their nature, and where they start their earthly life from. It begins with being a small egoist, with an increasing desire to consume the entire world.

Question: There has always been a debate in society: is a person born an egoist or does the environment make them that way?

Answer: A person is born an egoist. Baal HaSulam says that a person is born as a small egoist. Then nature and the egoistic society in which we live, until now, develop this egoism and leave no other path for development. It is the growth of egoism alone that drives a person’s development.

Connect Every Moment to Holiness

938.03Question: In Rabash’s Letter 77, it is written that every moment clarified, analyzed, and added to holiness enters the domain of holiness. How can we correctly identify, analyze, and connect each moment to holiness?

Answer: To do this, you need to be in constant prayer, in connection with your friends, and in understanding that your entire existence consists of moments your friends go through. In this way, you protect yourself so as not to fall.

Question: What is this constant prayer?

Answer: It is to hold on to your friends.

Question: How can I be sensitive enough and direct myself to exactly what my friends are going through and not myself?

Answer: You are going through the same thing they are going through. In addition, you have your moments, but the most important thing is that you are connected with them and go through all states together. You just need to feel dependent on them.

I Would Like To Be Proud of Both You and Myself

938.04Question: When we were singing one of Baal HaSulam’s melodies during the convention, I cried and saw that you also shed tears. Your inner pain seems to have blocked all the passages of my ego. I even lost all of my questions. What does this give me?

Answer: It corrects the heart, not specifically, but in general.

Question: So is it good? Is it possible to strive to feel your pain? It seems to me that there is nothing more powerful and stronger than this.

Answer: I feel like parents who have invested so much in their children, and the children are not very successful. I am sorry to say that about you. But in my eyes, you are still like that. Naturally, because of you, I am considered the same loser. Therefore, if I turn to the Creator regarding my children, which is you, this is what happens.

We must pray for each other and try to support each other. I think we are actually not in a bad state at all.

What we receive from above, we receive beyond all expectations. And then we will see what happens. It all depends on us.

Of course I would like to rejoice more and be proud of both you and myself, that is, to bring more contentment to the Creator.

Despite the Confusion

232.1Question: If there are many descents, confusion, and even not enough time to understand my state, how can I check that I am progressing correctly?

Answer: It does not matter that there are confusion and descents. The most important thing is that in your thoughts you are constantly striving toward the Creator. This is a sign that you are on the spiritual path.

Question: Until we include the Creator in our relationships, are we unable to ask Him to show us the way?

Answer: No, we can. We can ask the Creator to show us the way and to help us check if we are moving in the right direction.

Question: But our scrutinies constantly confuse us. Can we ask the Creator to take away these scrutinies and advance in faith above reason without them?

Answer: And how will you do this without scrutinies?

We need to clearly understand where the connection with the Creator is. Through which point of sensations does it come? This is what we are waiting for, asking for, and drawing closer to Him with. In the end, He reveals it to us.

Whose Desires Should We Fulfill?

41.01Question: Is there a difference for the Creator when we pass on the light and fulfill the desires of external people or our friends from Bnei Baruch?

Answer: If we fulfill the desires of our friends who are with us in the same Kli (vessel), then we are building a spiritual ladder. We are as if climbing its degrees toward the Creator.

Question: If we fulfill the desires of external people, are we not climbing this ladder?

Answer: No, we are merely creating an external environment, but it is not purposeful.
