Through the Egoistic Filter

202For success in our attempts to treat various medical problems and to sharply slow down the processes of human aging, it is clearly necessary to understand the languages by which cells communicate with each other. We have managed to accomplish this, to some extent. It appears that the languages we were looking for, are, in fact, hidden in the 98%, “junk” DNA contained in our own genetic apparatus (P.P. Gariaev et al).

Question: It is hard to imagine that the main informational structure of a human, his genome, is almost 100% “selfish junk” whose concern is only its preservation in our chromosomes and it is not doing anything useful. What indeed is our genome?

Answer: In essence, this is the way we perceive our genome because we are egoists ourselves and in reality we are in fact this “junk.” Meaning, “garbage” senses “garbage.”

The problem is that we are unable to read it in a different way since we research a person in the direct, egoistic approach. This is our concept apparatus, the form of our research, and how we are built inside.

A person represents a desire to receive pleasure and exists in this desire. Everything he senses and looks at he senses within himself, in his egoistic shapes, forms, desires, thoughts, and feelings.

According to this, everything that he researches passes through this sort of filter. It means I perceive everything through my egoistic filter and it does not matter whether I study the genome or certain macro objects. The only thing I perceive is whether or not something is a yes or no, beneficial or harmful, for my egoism.

There are a multitude of various components and many forms of the researched matter in the surrounding space: macro or micro, inanimate, vegetative, animate, biological, or even the internal, moral, sensory, or spiritual. Whatever I research, I look at it only through my egoistic filter and I do not see all the rest.

Where Do Dreams Come From?

565.02Dreams are impressions of the material world or other various wandering currents in our subconscious that a person sees in his mind.

Question: So is sleep a consequence of what you have experienced during the day?

Answer: Not necessarily what you experienced. Babies do not experience anything. It is only wandering streams or currents of information or restructuring of all sorts of cells, of brain activity, and so on that cause such sensations. We are talking about the physiology of our animal body.

As for the dreams described in Kabbalistic sources, for example, the dreams of Pharaoh or Jacob, here we mean a partial attainment of reality, not complete but partial when a person attains 60 and not 100 degrees in his feelings. This is called a dream.

Question: In the corporeal world, we separate sleeping and dreaming because sleep can be without dreams. What about spirituality?

Answer: It is the same in spirituality. Moreover, dreams in spirituality are not some kind of signs for the future. Kabbalah does not operate with such concepts at all.

Question: Can dreams be used for spiritual development?

Answer: No. By no means. In our life we must clearly, absolutely clearly try to be similar to the Creator, the good that does good, and unite with those who are like us, and with mutual help, attain the Creator together.

Society of Joy

293.1The future society is a society that lives according to the principle “love your neighbor as yourself,” a society of joy, smiles, and rapprochement.

Question: How does a person feel in it from the point of view of the perception of reality? Does he feel his neighbor, does he feel the social structure?

Answer: He feels himself in an environment that is absolutely identical to what exists within him. After all, the border of perception that there is me and something outside of me is being destroyed, leveled. There is no difference between his internal state and the external environment.

At the same time, a person’s sensation of our egoistic, closed, angular, limited-by-time world disappears.

The Image of the Creator

13.07Question: What does the expression “the image of the Creator” mean?

Answer: When we talk about the attitude of someone toward someone or to something, then such an attitude of one to another can lead to a certain image, behavior, picture, and so on.

We are trying to depict the image of the Creator in His attitude toward the created beings. Of course, this can also be done in relation to inanimate, vegetative, and animate nature but mainly to humans.

The Creator is the general force of nature, absolutely not materialized, inanimate, above everything that we can imagine. The wisdom of Kabbalah studies how this quality nevertheless is presented to a person and what it wants from us.

Write an Appeal to the Creator

627.2A letter from a viewer: “Some time ago, I was given the opportunity to feel an amazing sense of wholeness and peace with everything that exists. I included within myself everything in the world and beyond the world. I am a healthy person, have never taken anything, and work as a medical psychologist in a clinic where every day I help people with various severe psychological conditions. That is why I know what Kabbalah is talking about, about the power that leads us from above. But I cannot agree with the methods of the upper force: rude, ruthless, inhumane. What to do, how to live? It hurts terribly.”

Answer: Write a complaint to it: “That’s it! I cannot do anything.” Shout, complain.

Question: Are you in favor of direct, permanent communication?

Answer: When a person starts writing, he will realize that he has nothing to write about, that he simply does not understand the governance from above. No matter how ruthless and strict it may be, illogical and so on, he will simply understand not that there is no one to write to, but that there is nothing to write about. That, obviously, everything is already imprinted in him from the very beginning.

Question: Does this feeling of ruthlessness and so on, exist in the person himself and there is no such thing around him, so to say?

Answer: Of course not.

Question: So, what you are saying is: “You need to write.” The conclusion is: Do I need to write, demand? What will happen? What should I write on this piece of paper or in this note?

Answer: Write letters to the Creator. You write precisely like this: the first letter, the second. Just do not destroy them. The first letter, the second, the third, and so on. Then see what happens. You can publish a book.

Question: Are you suggesting physically to write it? Just take a pen and write?

Answer: Physically. It is good. It is better not on a computer, but with a pen. Then you will see who is leading your hand.

Question: Just to pour out all the tears all on a piece of paper?

Answer: Everything. Let everything be there.

Question: Does a person get answers at all?

Answer: He will get an answer then. He will write with tears and blood and will receive an answer.

Question: What should one ask for when he writes? What should one ask from the upper force, from the Creator?

Answer: To be in agreement with Him, nothing else: “Give me the strength to be in agreement with You because otherwise, I curse You.” After that, wherever it will go, wherever the hand will lead.

The Spiritual Essence of Man

742.01Comment: A Russian scientist purportedly discovered a phenomenon in nature known as DNA phantom. The conclusions after a series of experiments on the apparatus of heredity, meaning the DNA, shocked even the biochemists themselves.

The scientist suggests that after death, genes are not completely destroyed, but instead leave a sort of phantom that carries some information. This phantom, a clot of information ejected from cells, exists for about 40 days. After that it disappears, but not completely. The information embedded in the human genetic apparatus never departs without a trace.

My Response: Nothing disappears in nature. It’s just that when we look at a person in his biological egoistic form, we see some kind of image. Then this image dies because in this biological form the egoistic desire, which is the essence of a person, is exhausted. There is no more strength left in him to fill himself.

Desire, so to say, renounces everything, gets tired, no longer wants to work in this form, and feels itself existing senselessly, and therefore a person dies. This whole image ends its existence.

But this is only in our egoistic perception because we look at a person as a certain egoistic object. We only see him like this, but in fact he is eternal, perfect, and exists beyond any limitations.

Meaning, we are talking about the need to change the observer and then we would not see people who are dying or even people themselves. Instead of a person, we would see his inner spiritual essence, it exists.

For now, from this inner spiritual essence, the soul of a person, we perceive only the external egoistic shell, which we ourselves build. Our egoistic filter, through which we look at everything including ourselves, distorts and inverts the whole picture of the world.

Nothing disappears in nature. It’s just that all kinds of changes in external forms occur in our perception. I look at something and it seems to me that everything around me is changing. But really there is nothing around me at all and nothing changes.

The whole picture of perception is in me. It changes in me because my egoism is constantly transforming, developing, and going through all sorts of stages of development; thus it seems to me that the world is developing. So when I look at all the objects, I see them in motion. In fact, there is no movement and I am simply moving within myself.

Comment: But scientists still feel a kind of wave frame from thinner particles.

My Response: They feel an external egoistic form. But in fact, inside it is already the spiritual essence of a person.

“Large Hadron Collider Can Reveal More Particles, Not the Secrets of Existence” (Medium)

Medium published my new article “Large Hadron Collider Can Reveal More Particles, Not the Secrets of Existence

A general view of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiment is seen during a media visit at the Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in the French village of Saint-Genis-Pouilly near Geneva in Switzerland, July 23, 2014. REUTERS/Pierre Albouy

On July 5, after more than three years of upgrade and maintenance work, “the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) detectors switched on all subsystems and started recording high-energy collisions at the unprecedented energy of 13.6 trillion electronvolts,” reported CERN’s web site. Just one day later, Reuters jovially declared that “Scientists working with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have discovered three subatomic particles never seen before.” Some years ago, when the LHC first observed the Higgs Boson particle, it was hailed as the discovery of the “God” particle, the link between energy and mass.

But the Higgs Boson particle did not answer all our questions, and neither will these three new particles. Expensive toys will not answer our most fundamental questions. If we want to discover the secrets of creation, we need to use a completely different method than smashing particles against each other at fantastic speeds. It may help us discover new particles, but not the force that creates them.

The force that creates all particles, and all things in nature, lies within nature itself. To discover it we need to employ a principle called “equivalence of form.” Equivalence of form means that you can detect something only if you, too, have that same something within you. It can be a force, a property, or a quality, but if you do not have it in you, you will not detect its existence outside of you.

This is how our senses work. The length of our ear canal, for example, determines the frequencies we hear. Babies are more sensitive to high pitched sounds than adults because their shorter ear canals detect shorter wavelengths, which are higher frequencies. Put differently, the frequencies that are equal in length to the length of our ear canal are the frequencies we hear. Other senses work in different ways but along the same principle of creating similarity between the outside phenomena and their detectors in our body.

Accordingly, if we want to discover the secrets of creation, we must build within us the “sensory organs” to detect them. This may sound complicated, but understanding it is quite simple. The secret of creation is balance between reality’s two extremes. We may call them positive and negative, attraction and rejection, hot and cold, life and death, winter and summer, love and hate, giving and receiving, or any other name that describes two opposites.

Sustaining life requires balance between the two forces. Without it, one force takes over and demolishes everything. For example, the moon stays at a fixed distance from Earth because there is balance between the forces pushing it from Earth and the gravitational forces that pull it toward us. If that balance were to be disrupted, the moon would either drift into space or crash into Earth.

Currently, we cannot understand life as it truly is because we are governed by only one force: reception. There is barely any giving in us, and the little there is, is powerless against the narcissistic forces dominating humanity.

As is clearly evident, we are driving humanity toward destruction or a great calamity. What is less known, however, is that we are behaving this way because of the imbalance within us between the positive and the negative. If we could balance them, we would not only restore the balance in the planetary system, we would discover much more than we can see today, much more than the LHC can discover, since our entire perception of reality will change.

At the moment, we perceive the entire world as driven by egoistic urges. It is not. It is driven by both egoistic and altruistic urges, or it would not exist, as with the example of the moon and Earth. While minerals, plants, and animals all want for themselves, as do we, nature restricts the intensity of their drives to a level that does not disrupt the balance. In other words, animals maintain the balance between positive and negative through nature’s restriction of the negative in them.

The only ones whose egoism is unlimited are humans. Therefore, we are the only ones disrupting Earth’s balance. Worse yet, because we have no genuine giving within us, we cannot detect that it exists outside of us; we have no equivalence of form with that quality in nature. In consequence, we are destroying our habitat, and we do not understand the world we live in.

The strongest telescope and the most powerful microscope will not detect what requires different properties in order to detect it. To understand reality, we do not need more powerful machines that smash particles against each other. In fact, we need not smash anything. On the contrary, we need to cultivate within us the opposite quality to smashing, the quality of building, of positivity rather than negativity. Then we will not need mammoth toys like the Large Hadron Collider, since ‎we will discover what really keeps our world running‎.

“How can humans rise above their animal nature?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: How can humans rise above their animal nature?

There are three key steps involved in humans rising above the animal nature:

  1. Acknowledge that “love your neighbor as yourself” is the comprehensive law of nature that we have to achieve, and nature will make us reach it one way or another, i.e. either through our own conscious participation, where we progress to that law pleasurably and with ever-growing awareness, perception and sensation; or without our conscious participation, where increasing suffering will prod us to acknowledge this law.
  2. We have to examine the extent to which our nature is opposite to the law of nature. It is written about our nature that “man’s inclination is evil from his youth.” In other words, our animal nature initially takes no one but itself into consideration, and such a quality is evil. It is evil specifically because it leads us to enjoy from harming others. Enjoyment from harming others is a quality specific to the animal nature in people, and it should not be confused with the nature in animals, where some animals harm other animals solely out of survival necessity. With us, however, beyond our survival necessities for food, sex, family and shelter, our animal nature further develops us by making us want what others have—to receive, buy and even steal from them—up to a point where we enjoy harming them without there being any other kind of benefit in it for ourselves. In other words, our animal nature develops to a point where we might not need anything that others have, but we enjoy stripping them away from what they have.
  3. We then go through different forms of recognition of evil, i.e. understanding different magnitudes of the evil in our animal nature. That is, the second stage is mere knowledge of our animal nature’s oppositeness to nature. We can have knowledge of such a quality yet still enjoy being evil. The recognition of evil is a more developed stage where we understand and feel that our evil animal nature actually harms us, the very person that it resides in, and to the extent in which we gain such a recognition, we correct this animal nature—we start the process of rising above it to reach the higher nature of love, bestowal and connection. This is called a process of “correction” of our nature, and there is a specific method that guides this correction process up to the full attainment of nature’s law, i.e. fully rising above our animal nature and becoming human—a being with an intention similar to nature’s law of love, bestowal and connection.
