How Can You Get Peace Of Mind?

294.4Question: Now a person lives a thousand lives in one life, one is constantly within some process, with nerves on edge, constantly worried about something. How can you find relative peace of mind or balance?

Answer: Isolate yourself from the mass environment, get closer to people who have some special goal that you accept as important, fundamental. In accordance with this, determine your behavior, your life, and its purpose.

This is exactly what Kabbalah says and tries to show a person how to do.

Question: Is it possible to isolate yourself from the world, from the masses?

Answer: What can they give you? It depends on how you look at them.

If I look at everything that is happening around me as some kind of noise, so what? There are such fluctuations, nothing more. As the prophet said: “Calm down, calm down people.”

Comment: There is even a theory of absolute noise when a person is a filter that can pull out of the noise only what is beneficial for his development.

My Response: This is already serious work. In Kabbalah it is mandatory.

Question: Based on this, what should a person who is entering such a state do? Suppose we are talking about some kind of spiritual development of a person, maybe his initial, gradual first steps. What should he do when literally everything annoys him?

Answer: If a person studies Kabbalah, then this period passes. Moreover, he is gradually becoming different. He perceives everything as emanating from the Creator, from the upper force, and therefore, refers to it as a necessity that he must experience. Therefore, he can submit to it, accept it, and move on.

Question: In principle, is there such a state as a submission?

Answer: Absolutely. If it comes from above, what can you do? There is nothing you can do. At first, you perceive it as hopelessness, and then you accept it with joy and pleasure.

Nature Is One

709Question: Any system known to us goes through four phases of development: birth, flourishing, withering, and death. Now we are at the beginning of the creation of the spiritual foundations of management based on the principles of Kabbalah. Is it possible to create some prerequisites or foundations for another system of development? Or is it a law of nature that we cannot escape?

Answer: The fact is that an integral system of complete interconnection, including people, mind, feelings, absolutely everything, exists in nature at the inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human degrees.

However, in relation to humans, we do not perceive nature as integral, eternal, infinite, and perfect because we perceive it in our egoistic sensory organs. Therefore, we see our world as disconnected and distant, and we judge everything that happens through our egoistic qualities.

As soon as we begin to connect, we will reveal nature in its true integral form, and it will appear to us in a completely different way. To the extent that we correct ourselves, we will also see nature corrected. But we do not need to correct it, we will simply discover it for ourselves corrected in our senses. After all, our states are absolutely subjective.

The only thing we need to change is the perception of reality, the perception of a person, and then we will see that outside of us nature is absolutely integral.

In fact, it is one! There is no need to divide it into different sciences and different approaches. We distinguish stages and formations in it only relatively to our limited understanding.

Lie Down And Disconnect

281.02Question: The culture of “tang ping,” a passive lifestyle without stress and careerism, is gaining popularity among Chinese youth.
“Tang ping” means “lie down and switch off.” This is a salvation from the pressure of society, which pushes young people to look for work, to work hard and to build a career, as is customary in China.

The term “tan ping” was used by the author of a post who wrote that he has not worked for the last two years and does not see this as a problem. Instead of chasing success, he decided to just “lie down.”

Do you say that this is not always bad?

Answer: This is not bad. It is best to realize—What exactly do you want? For what? Why? And only after that, if it is really worth it for you and the world—so that you do not burn fuel, so that you do not pollute the air—carefully calculate what the meaning is of your work. Do you harm the environment, including still, vegetative, animate, and human nature, society, and so on?

And after that, do this work. Figure out: what can be the result of your work. Then you will see that maybe doing nothing is really the best thing to do for all mankind. And even the fact that you exist and consume some calories is not important. You are not causing damage.

Question: But how will I provide for my family?

Answer: We will provide for you. If we do not produce excess, but only what is necessary for all of us, for all of humanity, it will be enough for us to get off the couch and leave our phone, or even not leave it, for an hour a week—a week! And everything will be fine.

Question: Will there be something to eat and a roof to live under?

Answer: Absolutely everything will be there for you. Stop all these ships and steam locomotives that dart around the world and deliver all kinds of rubbish that no one needs. Only those who make money need these pieces of paper, and then they throw them into nowhere.

Question: When you say that a person should live as necessary, does this not mean an equalization, which we have already gone through some time ago?

Answer: Equalization is when it is being imposed on you. And I don’t care., I don’t compare myself with anyone. I am not afraid that I will have the same as my neighbor. I don’t look at the fact that I have the same furniture, the same food, the same clothing—it doesn’t matter.

Question: Why do I live so that I don’t watch others? What has changed in me?

Answer: Because I have my world, internality, that I live in. And therefore I do not feel that someone is suppressing me. On the contrary, they provide me with conditions. The environment, society, all of us together provide each other with conditions for internal development. And it doesn’t require calories.

Question: When such an understanding enters, will it automatically reduce everything to the necessary, and will the necessary be enough for me?

Answer: Yes.

My Thoughts On Twitter 7/13/21

Dr Michael Laitman Twitter

A poll conducted after the Israeli-Palestinian conflict showed that Jews in the USA are against Israel. They think that approval of the ultra-left will save them from pogroms, as was the case when Nazis first came to power in Germany. 100 years later, history is repeating itself!

@WHODirector-General @DrTedros: “The mortality rate is rising again. The #Delta variant is rampant in the world. The #pandemic is not over anywhere. It will take collective action to defeat it.”

My Comment: Nature will bring us, against our will, to the need to unite in order to survive, if we don’t wish to unite on our own! #COVID19

Everything depends only on our aspiration to be united, “Love your neighbor as yourself”
This is the mission of the Israeli #government!
Otherwise we will bring ourselves to exile again.
It says so in all our sources.
This should be the directive for our government!

We have to realize that this land will belong to us only on the condition that we correspond to it, that we strive to be the nation of #Israel, similar to the Creator in the quality of bestowal and love.
Otherwise we will bring ourselves to exile again.

Up to 34% #Jews in the USA think that #Israel is an #apartheid state! Just like in Nazi Germany, they will have to learn the truth through their personal experience…

“Is There A Modern Form Of Colonialism?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: Is there a modern form of colonialism?

Yes, there is. Governments of various developed countries have forcefully imposed their civilizations into other countries. They have disturbed the culture and the foundations of life of these countries and nations, overturning them and bringing about the calamities that we see today in the third world.

These same governments should try to revive these nations’ previous states as much as possible, and let them develop independently. Each one of these nations can develop optimally in its natural form. We will see no positive life in the countries of South America, Africa and Asia otherwise.

These colonies are built on people’s desires to impose their own culture, education, governance and philosophy of understanding the world on others, and such an approach is mistaken and detrimental to the world.

We thus need to help each other develop naturally. Helping each other develop naturally means that we each help each other obtain what is good for everyone according to their nature, and leave our own opinions and forceful approaches out of the equation, which would force others to develop differently to their natural form.

European culture brought this debacle to the world, and this is why European civilization—North America and Europe—with all the power it has accumulated, needs to lead a recoiling process in order to let all countries develop naturally. By doing so, positive outcomes would ensue for all civilizations and cultures.

“What Are The Benefits Of Nuclear Weapons?” (Quora)

Dr. Michael LaitmanMichael Laitman, On Quora: What are the benefits of nuclear weapons?

Since nuclear weapons have the ability to exterminate entire populations of people, their benefit is that they force the world and every person to fear and consider how to change human society as a whole, so that a disastrous scenario of using nuclear weapons against people would not materialize.

Nothing Is Stronger Than Habit

571.03Question: There is nothing stronger than habit. A person’s nature, his essence, is a desire to receive that works according to a certain program: maximum enjoyment with minimum expenditure of energy. But since a person’s character cannot be changed, does it mean that habits cannot be changed either?

Answer: It is very, very difficult. This requires serious motivation, wanting to acquire some new imposed, induced habitual actions, deeds, and tastes.

Indeed, habit is second nature. We receive only some basic characteristics from nature and everything else is formed through the influence of the environment.

Comment: But we know from the science of Kabbalah that it is impossible to change a person’s nature.

My Response: But inside nature itself—what I strive for, love or hate—everything happens within the framework of our common egoism. We are programmed by parents’, society’s, and friends’ attitudes toward us.

Question: We know that a habit is an action that is directly related to pleasure or suffering.

For example, children do not like to brush their teeth, but this habit can be developed in them if you give them some kind of reward for this, which gives pleasure. When you no longer give anything for it, the action itself becomes a pleasure since without brushing teeth one suffers.

So, through pleasure and suffering, can we develop a habit in a person, but still not change his nature?

Answer: We cannot change nature. Within the framework of our nature, we can simply manifest it in certain ways, but nothing beyond that. In general, nothing is done without a reward. Nature or us, or society, something should set us to act a certain way.

Question: Can bad habits be eradicated by suffering?

Answer: Not necessarily through suffering. Any habits can be eradicated. It all depends only on how much we really want to and know the way to do so.
