The current situation of the Israeli nation is different than it was in the past. We were spoiled by the impressive victory of the Six Day War, and we were very proud of our strength. That’s the way it has been until recently, but in the last operation “Pillar of Cloud” has made a correction for us; for the first time we didn’t come out as winners, but rather confused, perplexed, and beaten. It is a very important lesson, a great correction that occurred in each of us. We have to feel it deeply and not try to erase this unpleasant feeling.

We already understand that it doesn’t matter how we carried on this operation, it could not have ended successfully. It is totally useless, and we are only making the whole world turn more and more against us. For the first time we are starting to understand that we are helpless and cannot do anything. Next time, when things get worse in a couple of years, it will be even worse. This is a conflict that has no solution here and now.

It is good that we have reached this understanding that now forces us to find the real answer. We cannot win by using the same force that those who attack us are using.

I hope that now people will begin to listen to us, since they have no more solutions. Otherwise the situation will simply be hopeless. This problem has no rational solution that is based on sound logic of this world. But eventually, we will be threatened not only by our neighbors that are surrounding us on all sides, but by the whole world that would rise against us and take their side. Even now everyone is supporting them and we are not wanted at all. So what will we do then?

We will have to listen to what the wisdom of Kabbalah says, which explains that the solution is on another plane. It is impossible to solve this problem by conventional means, but only by the help of the upper force. This is why the problem is being revealed!

Everyone must experience the defeat deep in his soul, as if to go through a “washing machine” that washes away the last remnants of pride. At the same time we still acquire a wisdom that enables us to understand that the solution is on another level.

Now we can already turn to the nation openly and say: “Look, we are up against a wall! We can either break it (and the wall is inside us), or this will be our burial place. The situation is the same as the situation before Mt. Sinai where we accepted the condition: Connect as one man in one heart and by that reveal the upper force among us or that here would be our burial place.

Question: Our friend who was in New York during the hurricane told us that never before was there an atmosphere in the New York group such as during this difficult time, how they are all focused on studying and on close relations.

Answer: We have to thank the Creator for the hurricane!

But is this what we need? All a smart person needs is a small needle prick and he’s ready to be good. However, the stubborn ones need serious blows, and this is called “I hardened Pharaoh’s heart.” Everything depends on the person.

I hope that with the help of our method of developing connection, our public relations in the Internet, and all that we’ve reached, we’ll be able to quickly and painlessly explain to people and to ourselves that all these blows simply disappear if we begin to look at them as a means for an ascent.

Baal HaSulam writes in one of his letters that all of this is an illusion. Just look at these blows from aside, as a reason to appeal to the Creator, and they will disappear instantly. Appeal to the Creator and the problems are gone.

We must understand that in our world there’s nothing that really exists. All we see is being drawn in our organs of perception. All of this will disappear as soon as we reformat our organs of perception toward the Creator.

Therefore, let’s act more rationally and give up our old paradigms because they’ve outlived themselves.

Question: How can I keep myself in a state of constant need for spiritual fulfillment?

Answer: This is a problem that comes and goes, comes and goes, and does so constantly and alternately.

What can I do with it? It depends on the friends.

If they promote the greatness of the goal, greatness of the Creator, greatness of the group, greatness of oneself, if I suddenly start seeing how much they advance and I do not and I begin to stir myself with pride, envy, etc, then I acquire new Kelim (vessels), new voids. And then I advance. It is very important to be envious: “Why not me?” It is important for advancing. This drives a person.

That is why a group should as if tease everyone. It should flirt with him all the time, constantly stimulating the desire to move in him.

He has to see his friends as people who advance: “They are ahead of me, they are more sympathetic to each other, they understand each other, are more direct with each other; look how they are already getting closer. Spiritual substance is beginning to emerge between them, and I’m somewhere on the side; I cannot, I am not like them.” These states are very useful for a person.

“As local, state and federal officials in the United States realize the reality of our fiscal and economic situations, they will be forced to make serious cuts in areas that have become essential to the American way of life.

“Personal safety, food security, health care and critical public services will inevitably be sacrificed as across-the-board austerity measures become the norm, not the exception.

“Impoverishment will lead to desperation and anger, which in turn leads to “nothing left to lose” attitudes and a rise in violence and criminal activity.”

My Comment: Only one condition should be added to welfare benefits: attending free courses in integral education (where there is free food in addition to the benefits), and all the negative consequences will be turned to positive! Otherwise the neglected and impoverished masses will lead the country to a civil war.

My Comment: But is it possible to cause the necessary need for change not by suffering, not by crisis, but by increasing awareness of the need for change long before it manifests itself, according to the rule “The wise see beforehand.” The wisdom of Kabbalah encourages this by offering the method of how to change man and society long before nature forces us to do so by suffering.

Question: How can I become more sensitive to the Creator?

Answer: I’ve brought this kind of an example many times—that we acquire the sensitivity to a certain phenomenon the moment we start working with it, even if we didn’t have it before. We acquire sensitivity to everything: to stones, trees, or other people. First we don’t pay attention to a person and then we begin to feel him more and more and discover everything in him. This is called: “a habit becomes a second nature.”

So I must aim the work I do with the friends at the Creator. I work on discovering the friends’ attributes, for which I have no need and am not interested in at all, in order to increase my sensitivity to them, by discovering as many attributes as I can. Not the friend’s corporeal nature, but his attitude to the Creator. Then at the point that I am in contact with him and want to be in contact with him, I discover a sensitivity to the Creator.

The Creator Himself doesn’t exist. He is revealed only in our connections. So increasing the sensitivity to the connection with the friends is equal to increasing the sensitivity to the Creator.

Question: How can we affect all the groups in the world now so that they will feel what we feel? How are we able to transfer our feelings to them? What kind of intensity, relationships, and connection is required from us?

Answer: We really are in connection with everyone. If they grasp us or not, is not, by the way, our problem since everything happens in relation to the Creator.

He affects us, He is completely disclosed to us. The Creator doesn’t conceal Himself. When we say that the Creator is concealed, He isn’t. It is we who conceal Him through our uncorrected attributes. He has nothing to conceal from us. We simply express it this way. But actually the concealment is in us and not in the Creator.

It is also this way in relation to other groups. When we study, hold workshops, in anything we do, it includes all the world’s groups. When we try to include it in us, even if we don’t think about it each moment (because we also don’t think about it now each moment), we can’t include it within us. We still have only a small desire, a small Kli (vessel/desire).

But when we begin to connect between us, we can simultaneously grasp a billion thoughts, a billion feelings, and they don’t annul each other. It is as if we are now very small, like one byte of information, and on it, for example, it is possible to write 0 or 1 and nothing more. But when we have a huge connection of 0s and these 1s, which means of all kinds of units of information, then we will be able to list and to include in us all of humanity, and then we will try to do that .

Question: When we are talking about the people of Israel, about the Jews, who are we talking about?

Answer: About Abraham’s disciples who left Babel with him and called themselves “Israel,” which means “straight to the Creator – Yashar Kel.” They also called themselves “Jews – Yehuda,” which comes from the Hebrew root “Yehud – unity” because they wanted to unite. They called themselves “Hebrews- Ivrim – עברים,” from the Hebrew root “to transcend – maavar – מעבר),” because they wanted to transcend from one level to another. All the names are given according to the direction, the inclination and the yearning.

On the whole, there is a desire to receive. A small part of it is called Bnei Baruch (BB). Another bigger part is called the “Israeli nation in the land of Israel.” A bigger part is called the “Israeli nation in the diaspora.” Finally there is the part called “the nations of the world.”

Those who have a point in the heart (•) belong to the part called Bnei Baruch. The two parts of the Israeli nation are those who are in the meantime without a point in the heart, and the point of the heart doesn’t exist of course in those called the nations of the world. But those who “are in the land of Israel” have Reshimot (spiritual genes) from the point in the heart that they had before and is now concealed. Now an external pressure is being put on them. As for the Israeli nation in the diaspora, they have Reshimot, and a different kind of pressure is put in them—anti-Semitism.

The “nations of the world” have a point in the heart that is concealed even more deeply. It appeared thanks to the integration, when sparks of bestowal entered the vessels of receiving, except for the last part of the desire to receive called “the stony heart”. These are already called the “harmful of the harmful.”

This kind of division is possible on the corporeal level.

From a spiritual point of view, anyone who has a point in the heart belongs to Bnei Baruch, no matter what nation he belongs to in corporeality. Similar to the way it was in Babylon, a person enters a group if he yearns for the goal of creation. This is how we relate to reality according to the principle of Babylon.

Accordingly, people with a point in the heart feel that they have to correct themselves and the world. Those who refuse to acknowledge their mission, despite the Reshimot in them, feel an external pressure in the form of anti-Semitism or a threat to survival.

Today people are called “Jews” according to the external signs of appearance and ethnicity. These people also have to understand that they have to fulfill their role. All those who belong to the category of “Israel,” to the descendants of those who left Babylon and went through many reincarnations throughout history are responsible for the correction. Even if such a person doesn’t want to correct himself, if he isn’t interested in any kind of correction, no one is asking him. There is a Reshimo in his genes that awoke back in Babylon, and he has to fulfill it. If he doesn’t fulfill it, the whole world will demand the missing part in the correction from him.

People will simply react to the lack of fulfillment they have to receive through him, and no matter how “nicely he behaves” in this world, nothing will help. No one will take his nice behavior into account, since it only indicates one thing: He is not doing what he has to do.
