What is the right way to deal with the deaths of relatives and how can we continue to be linked with them even after their death?

A person existed and suddenly he is gone. Our perception is limited. We cannot digest this even though we are used to this perception. But there exists a possibility of developing vision beyond life and death.

The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that it is possible to reach a higher level of existence, a spiritual body, during our lives. It depends on building an opposite attitude toward reality, an anti-egoistic attitude, an attitude of love and bestowal toward others.

With this upgraded attitude, the picture of reality is changed and seems completely different. This is called the upper world. When someone dies, he does not just disappear. He finished his role for now and will continue in another form.

Even after a person dies, we are connected to him and influence him for the better with our good deeds. The correction of the attitude of the person toward the world is sure to help the souls of the departed. It is up to us to approach the love of others.

My Comment: It is doubtful that their willingness would help in this matter since the whole thing is being conducted according to a US plan that is creating chaos in various parts of the world. Therefore, until the US itself, begins to feel the chaos it is creating in its own home, then all the world will decide, before or after a world war, that the only success is in general unity.

Eli Wiesel, one of the pillars of the Jewish world, who served as the “mouth” for millions of Holocaust victims and dedicated his life to commemorate the Holocaust in an attempt to prevent a second one, passed away.

As a talented writer, awarded countless laurels and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, his personal history is closely interwoven with the fate of the Jewish people. In 1944, when he was 15 years old, he was sent with his family to Auschwitz, where he lost his mother and one of his sisters. Later after the death march, his father died in Buchenwald. But Wiesel was lucky to witness the liberation of the camp by the Allied Forces.

Since then he invested all his energy to let the world know about the atrocities the Jews had undergone in those terrible years.

We met in New York for the first time when I was on a lecture tour in America. Against the backdrop of a global surge of anti-Semitism, I crossed the country from coast to coast to give a series of lectures and interviews. Then I was fortunate to get to know an exceptional personality. He was truly a noble man, an outstanding representative of his people. We quickly found a common language since we are both from families that survived the Holocaust.

Eli showed great knowledge in Jewish literature. Among other things he was familiar with the authentic wisdom of Kabbalah in which I engage. He was very worried about the growing anti-Semitic trend, and I shared my concern with him regarding the impending waves of anti-Semitism about which I have been writing all these years. He listened attentively.

During that conversation, I told him about the main message of the wisdom of Kabbalah, about the special role of the Jewish people in fulfilling the principle of unity, and that after we fulfill it between ourselves, we have to pass on the method of unity to all of humanity. Eli showed great interest in this view and we had a very fruitful conversation.

It is very hard to accept his death. Eli Wiesel was one of the giants of the Jewish spirit who championed the Jewish people, and the moral foundations and universal values of humanity.

We, the Jews living in the land of Israel, are indebted to this man. In the hour of farewell, we have to greatly honor his mission, which has been completed, but which has not ended. His mission has been passed on to us, and just like Eli Wiesel we are responsible for the future generations.

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 4:25 – 4:26: When you beget children and children’s children, and you will be long established in the land, and you become corrupt and make a graven image, the likeness of anything, and do evil in the eyes of the Lord your God, to provoke Him to anger, I call as witness against you this very day the heaven and the earth, that you will speedily and utterly perish from the land to which you cross the Jordan, to possess; you will not prolong your days upon it, but will be utterly destroyed.

And so it happened. Because the nation is the group of people aiming toward the Creator and then this desire disappeared.

Generations change, meaning that more egoistic layers are revealed in a person and so he can’t remain in a state of close cooperation with others as one man with one heart.

Mainly it is revealed at the entrance to the land of Israel, because it is especially egoistic from the point of view of correction when you constantly climb your egoistic desires.

They constitute huge hard layers, the third and fourth levels of egoism that are impossible to withstand. On the one hand, they tear you apart by tempting with such cunning pleasures that you don’t have the strength to refuse.

And as soon as you move away from them darkness, depression, and blackness descend on you. Rising above such desires is only possible by being in mutual guarantee (Arvut), in connection, and by fervently praying to the Creator to give you the Light of correction.

Therefore the Creator tells Moses that his children and even more so his grandchildren “will become corrupt and make a graven image, the likeness of anything.”

Worshipping idols means worshipping our egoistic desires. It is unavoidable! “All the same, you will come to it and will become idol worshippers!”—the Creator predicts.

The future of humanity is inevitable. It was known to all Kabbalists, starting with Adam, Abraham, and further, because the real Kabbalists see to the end of creation, i.e., to the end of 6,000 years. The only thing they cannot foresee is the way the current stage, before the end of correction, will be passed, whether it will be by a good or bad way, because during the last stage of correction our freedom of will is revealed.

Comment: Thus, the Creator predicts to the people that they will disappear completely from the nation to which they crossover.

Answer: The people of Israel must go into exile. No wonder the greatest Kabbalist of that time Rabbi Akiva rejoiced at the destruction of the Temple and the fall of the Jews from the spiritual degree, because he saw that the prophecy came true, and the exile would be followed by correction.

Question: What is the reason for hatred toward Jews?

Answer: Briefly it could be said that people hate us instinctively and naturally because we are not attracting the Upper Light. More precisely, in this regard they have no direct approach to the Creator, but only through us.

But the revelation of the wisdom of Kabbalah to all the nations of the world in our time makes it possible for everyone to approach the Creator, which depends only on the realization of a person’s desire.

And if a person has a desire for the Creator depends on the individual relationship of the Creator to the person, which depends on person’s location in the collective soul.

Comment: France is paying the price for a decade of a failed multicultural policy.

Aleksandra Rybińska asserts in a recent article that none of the models of immigrant integration are working: not the German model, the Gastarbeiter (immigrants as temporary, unskilled workers), not the French model of a secular enlightened country (the immigrant becomes a Frenchman and waives his own cultural identity), not the English version (the immigrant maintains his culture within the frameworks of the local community and the authorities believe that he at the same time identifies with British values).

The author concludes that France is approaching a revolution.

My Response: Not only are the French approaching a revolution. The explosion will be everywhere. The only question is: when? In spite of Europe wanting to maintain itself and maintain its roots, it won’t succeed. Its hope that the immigrants would work didn’t materialize. On the contrary, the Germans and French work on behalf of the migrants.

The immigrants don’t dissolve into the general mass of the local residents; actually it is the locals who gradually dissolve into the mass of the immigrants and convert to Islam.

Nothing is left of them. In the cultural practical sense of life, Europe has no power. It is decrepit and not ready for anything, except arranging beautiful costume parades, boasting its historical past. These are things that totally do not fit into the ensuing culture and Europe will be forced to yield.

Question: Won’t there be a revolution?

Answer: There is no need for that. Islam will conquer Europe and actively and undoubtedly enslave it. The religion of the Europeans will be Islam.

Question: In this case, what is required of Israel? Should it just watch passively from the side?

Answer: The Israelis cannot do anything except for one thing, to unite between themselves. Through unity, the Light will pass to the rest of the world and correct it.

Our attitude to what is happening should be completely passive. In no way should we interfere. The entire world is arranged as one unique unit that is connected in a totally mutual way. If we arrange for the contact of all humanity with the Upper Light, with the force of good, through us, then it will go through us to the whole world and will arrange everything needed.

In ancient Babylon Abraham discovered that the egoistic force that erupted could be balanced by the good force. He realized that it was not a local conflict that only related to Babylon, but it applied to the entire universe, to the entire upper system that includes in itself not only this world, but also the five upper worlds.

So Abraham began to ask how it was possible to reach this balance? After all, our egoism is very shallow in comparison to the upper worlds and the great forces of good and evil that act in them. What a tremendous evil force we need to reveal in order to attain the entire positive force of nature? How would we be able to withstand such egoism?

And the Creator consoled Abraham that he has nothing to worry about, because his descendants would go into exile. Meaning that the group called Israel would receive such a big negative force that would oblige them to reveal a positive force to balance it.

The balance of these two forces starts from the state at Mt. Sinai and the receiving of the Torah. We by ourselves cannot extract the positive force from nature that would balance the tremendous force of our egoism.

We need an entire system for achieving this positive force and the balance between the two forces. This system is called the Temple, a huge vessel, a special state, where negative and positive forces are in harmony with each other.

When Abraham heard this from the Creator he realized that success was guaranteed. The most important thing was to reveal a powerful negative force called Egypt. This entire negative force is revealed as the Pharaoh that rules over the children of Israel and makes them feel that they must rise above him.

A miracle happens at Mt. Sinai where they receive this positive force. This is a big holiday, a great joy from rising above our nature, and new horizons open in front of a person.

It is impossible to reveal the positive force without revealing the big negative force within us, because the egoism acts as “help against it” and pushes us forward, forcing us to look for the positive force. We feel that we can’t exist in slavery to our egoism any longer. All the Egyptian plagues and blows to our ego push us to reveal the good force.

Question: What conclusions can we draw from the events at Mt. Sinai for our lives today?

Answer: The giving of the Torah happens every day and a person needs to imagine himself standing at Mt. Sinai again. Every moment we need to renew this root again and again, because the egoistic force within us is renewed all the time and we need to draw the positive force against it in order to balance them.

We will continue to advance this way until we reveal the entire negative force and the entire positive force against it, each time reaching the balance between them. It means rising through 125 degrees. At the end, the positive force called the Creator will balance the entire egoistic force allotted to the creature. And then we will feel ourselves in harmony between these two forces and will reach the revelation of the good upper force.

And the negative force wasn’t bad, it actually helped us reveal the Creator and unite with Him.

Comment: June 23, 2016 is a significant day; a referendum was held in England about leaving the European Union. British Prime Minister James Cameron appeared before the Jewish public with a request to vote in favor of the nation continuing in the European Union since according to him, “We are helping you in every way possible and are encouraging Europe to support Israel.”

Answer: In fact, England is the most anti-Semitic nation. And even though the Prime Minister says the exact opposite, considering Britain’s diplomatic past, without a doubt it seems otherwise.

Comment: Everyone is waiting anxiously and with apprehension regarding the outcome of the referendum because it would lead to many consequences depending on whether England remains or leaves the EU.

Response: If we are talking about tactics, meaning the plan for the near future, then this result is not beneficial to the EU because of the many and various agreements that were signed by England, and in this context there will be a need to carry out new calculations.

It could be that the breach of mutual obligations will cost the two sides several billion dollars to bring everything into the right form. But gradually everything will take its course. They say that the rejection will be gradual, the dismantling and the distancing of England from the Common Market could even take a decade.

Question: But how will it be for the European Union?

Answer: The member nations of the EU will feel that it is possible to leave the Common Market and will begin to abandon it.

A paradoxical situation will be created in Europe: The Germans granted loans to everyone so now everyone has become fully dependent on them. Even though this is a financial obligation, it even makes it possible for Germany to give political orders. Unequal exchange rates of political monetary transfers are created.

With England, the accounting is a bit simpler; they can allow themselves to leave the EU. In the future, this union will fall apart anyway because nothing was done in Europe to bring nations and peoples together, developing something in common. What united them was free entry from one nation into another and what is called the “Common Market.”

The fact that they live in close proximity doesn’t indicate anything. On the contrary, it could be that this is worse than union.

Comment: In principle, they took the concept of unity as a foundation of a religious principle….

Answer: Today they have no religious principles. Religion doesn’t connect them, it no longer exists. Only Islam connects them, which is growing quite successfully in all the European nations. For Islam, in general, it is not important if this is France, Germany, Italy, or Spain. For them the title of the transformation is what is important. In principle, the strategy is very simple.

If England wants to be in the union, then it will remain. And if not, in any case, it will be necessary to leave the EU sometime. It could be that leaving now is not worthwhile temporarily, but in the long run it will use it. It won’t need to accept any limitations, any European laws; it will be able to function on its own.

According to its psychology, this is a nation situated on an island that stands on the side, at some distance from everyone. From the point of view of history, England has always been against Europe, so it doesn’t need to look back on the European Union. It was better for it to become independent and not to depend on it, but politicians have their own calculations.

Question: As a result of all these developments, must we achieve becoming a single whole?

Answer: A single whole can be achieved only through Israel, and this is the problem. So ultimately fascism will unite Europe, and together they will turn against us.

The logic of nature, the forces latent in nature, will bring us to this, if not, we will pre-empt it through our efforts to bring the upper force and goodness to our world.

Answer: According to the wisdom of Kabbalah there is no free will according to the common definition. All of a person’s actions are unconscious, and are performed unconsciously and only then understood, and some of them are not always understood either. According to many Kabbalistic texts, like Baal HaSulam’s articles “Thou Hast Hemmed Me In Behind and Before,” Shamati articles, etc. speak about that. Another part of Kabbalistic literature describes what does depend on a person. All of the Kabbalistic literature is divided into two parts: the part that depends on the Creator and the part that depends on a person.

The study of Kabbalah actually comes down to the study and implementation of our free will, but we can define and implement it only to the extent that we understand the Creator’s actions and when our attributes become equal to His through adhering to Him like to a partner. The meaning of our actions is in our understanding and our complete connection between all of a person’s actions and the Creator’s. This is called adhesion.

Summary

There are good times and bad times; history proves that the 9^th of Av is the hardest day. According to the wisdom of Kabbalah, everything that happens in our world is managed by the operating system and the upper leadership.

Kabbalists reveal this system by developing an extra sense, which is the force of love and bestowal. On our part we can influence this system and change even the bad times for the better. Just like a geyser erupts according to predetermined times, so do the troubles come at regular times.

If we want to ensure our wellbeing and that of our children, we should learn how to influence the upper system. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to change the operating orders that descend from the upper system. The system is like an upper computer. We penetrate it by rising above our ego, by rising from hatred to love.
