The Greatness of the Shechina

509Question: What is the Shechina (Divinity)?

Answer: The feeling in a person that the Creator clothes into him and fills him is called the Shechina. The Creator or Shechina are one and the same.

Question: How does the greatness of the Shechina in my eyes affect my friends and reality in general?

Answer: In a direct way. The greatness of the Shechina is the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of His force and the envelopment of the entire universe by His force. We have no other problems here, except to feel and reveal the greatness of the Creator. This is the most important thing for us.

Then we will be able to address Him correctly, not forget about Him, and understand that we depend only on Him. We need to tell all of humanity about this.

Everything in the world rests solely on revealing the greatness of the Creator. The first to receive it was a group of people that came out of Babylon. They called themselves “Yehudim” from the word “Yihud,” unity. At one time, they united with each other precisely in order to attain the Creator. They must correctly present the singularity of the Creator to the whole world.

The Black Day of the Calendar—the 9th of Av

727It is written: “Anyone who mourns for Jerusalem is rewarded with seeing its joy.”

That is, to the extent that we recognize the full scale of the destruction that happened to us, to the entire people of Israel and to the whole world, to the Creator’s program of creation, and to the extent that it touches our heart, to this extent we are able to understand and feel all this sorrow, understand the reason for the destruction, understand how to get out of it, and how to rebuild Jerusalem, that is, the “Perfect City” (Ira Shlema). In this way, from sorrow we come to joy.

There is no darker and more mournful day than the 9th of Av. This is the source of all judgments and all troubles. It was on this day that the Temple was ruined in Jerusalem. And we still grieve about it after thousands of years. Today we must also worry and grieve about it as if it happened yesterday, and this is everyone’s personal grief.

After all, those who do not mourn the ruin of the Temple will not be able to be present at its restoration. Therefore, we need to feel in the depths of our hearts what shattering is and what correction we should expect, in what form and with what result.

There was a terrible shattering—the Kli, that is, the connection between the created beings and the Creator was broken. And now, who knows when and how and by what actions it will be possible to correct it. That is why it is really a very sad day.

Jewish Calendar

740.01At present, the preparation of all mankind for the final correction of all religions is taking place. Islam is the right line, Christianity is the left line, and Judaism is the middle line.

In accordance with this, they make up their calendars. Islam has a lunar calendar, Christianity has a solar calendar, and the Jews have a generalized one: both lunar and solar.

Therefore, everyone has a problem with calendars, except the Jews. The Jewish calendar was created several thousand years ago with no amendments since then! Absolutely! There are no leap year additions, new time, old time, nothing!

It is based on the movements of the moon and the sun and is calculated to the nearest second. There were such great Kabbalists as Yehuda Ha-Nasi who compiled this calendar even before the collapse of the Temple. We have been using it since then.

According to a Spiritual Source

200.02All laws of Judaism come from Kabbalah, which has fallen into our world and somehow left its imprint in it especially in terms of social mutual support.

In any country, anyone can be a street child, except for Jewish children. There is no such thing! The people are educated to take care of children so much that you just cannot leave them on the street.

Let’s say you arrange a wedding after which you have 50% of the food left, you have no right to throw this food away until the poor come and take with them everything they want.

You have no right to harvest the entire crop from the field because you have to leave the so-called peah. Peah (paces, remnants), the strands of hair that descend from the sides of the head of religious men symbolize the light of Hochma descending from the head into the body.

Therefore, it is forbidden to pick up from the ground the fruit that has fallen from a tree. You may only pick them from the tree, and what is under the tree is not yours, but is for the poor. Before you eat challah (bread), you should cut a piece for the benefit of the poor. All these laws of the separation of tithes from each part come from Kabbalah.

I think that over time humanity will begin to apply them based not on Judaism, but from a spiritual source.

Direct internal correction will make them think and care about others, and therefore, they will behave this way regardless of any factors.

The Most Terrible Punishment

547.06Question: If punishments are forbidden in Judaism, then how can it be avoided that a person might abuse the fact that he will not be punished?

Answer: In Judaism, the most terrible punishment has always been public opinion, censure, excommunication from society, and expulsion from it.

Children were specially brought up in love and respect for parents and relatives: “These are your distant relatives, this is your community, your people. You have to think this way, you have to help everyone.”

There should be no beggars in the society! Everyone should have food! If a husband dies, be sure to help the woman and the children. There was a duty to marry all the girls and teach children literacy and mathematics. Everyone must learn! And so on, and so on.

That is, a huge number of auxiliary systems were created, such as today’s social organizations. All this has existed for a long time, long before the exile of the people.

The Paradoxes of Anti-Semitism

400Question: Do you think anti-Semitism will change?

Answer: No, it will not change until the complete correction of humanity because man’s natural egoistic nature makes him a hater of the Creator.

If the point in the heart is present in a person, which is a part of the Creator from above, then he hates this point, but does not know why. He invents all sorts of other reasons, like, for example, Jews steal, plunder, lie, and use me. They have long noses, long ears, or something else. All this is not clear.

Question: How can we use this?

Answer: You cannot. We have to tell man why he exists. Everything will pass. There is not much time left now. Humanity will receive a few more blows on the head and will start to come to. I hope it will happen over the next few years.

Prison—Pharaoh’s Invention

551Comment: Throughout the history of mankind some people have tried to correct others, and there have always been penal colonies and prisons.

My Response: Prison is an invention of Pharaoh. We know from the Torah how Pharaoh threw Joseph into prison where he sat together with the cupbearer’s minister.

Judaism does not follow this because it is a clear imprint of Kabbalah. In no case should anyone be corrected. Just be patient and teach. No punishments!

There can be punishment only when you and the punished person know exactly what is happening and you work together on his egoism. He agrees that you are punishing him because otherwise his ego cannot be corrected, and he is grateful to you for this. For him, this is a correction. But this is not a correction in prison.

Reason for the Persecution of the Jews

747.03Question: When in history did the persecution of Jews begin?

Answer: Antagonism began when the Jews themselves fell from their spiritual level. By this, they caused their persecution.

When the Jews are on a spiritual level, they are not even noticed or touched, or the opposite, they are approved, praised, and willing to learn from them.

Question: Were they treated like monks who lived in a separate commune?

Answer: It was a people who lived in their own territory that covered even Lebanon and Transjordan, on the other side of Jordan lived two huge tribes.

Question: But they were not attacked for no reason?

Answer: For example, King David on a spiritual level, waged constant wars for forty years. He understood that it was all purely external. But what could he do? Such is the period of correction of egoism.

Foreign Faith

409Comment: In the past, people often adopted another religion, and this was considered normal.

My Response: Because religions were decisive for man. This is all that humanity had.

Comment: But in fact, the person did not change, just the name of the faith changed.

My Response: No, at that time it was really believed that a person had become different. Let’s say the war ended, Muslims captured a city, lined up all the infidels on the square, and put them to a choice converts to Islam or we will kill you.

In those days, people were a little different. For them, faith was the most important thing in life. Many converted to another religion and remained faithful to it.

It was harder for the Jews. Under the pressure of the Inquisition, they were obliged to convert to Christianity, but they still remained Marans, and until this day there are still many. I was in Spain. Spaniards say that according to statistics, up to 30% of Jewish blood flows in them because after the baptism of Jews, Spaniards and Jews mixed up. This can be determined by surnames and other data.

I heard the same thing in Argentina in South America where people moved from Spain. Columbus, after all, was also a baptized Jew, so he began to look for a new land to take the Jews out of Spain since the threat of exile was already hanging over them. One of his tasks was to find such a place.

Comment: America as such is, in principle, a Jewish country.

My Response: Yes, it was built on the hopes of finding some land where you would not be touched. The first mayors in many American settlements were Jews, gold diggers, too, and so on.

People were looking for a place under the sun where they could be more or less protected and developed. But it all goes away. In fact, it seems to us that America is for everyone, but this is not the case. I have talked to American Jews many times; there is a certain threshold where you will be allowed, and where you will not.

Mismatch between Internal and External

549.02Question: According to statistics, the Jews have a great predisposition for psychological abnormalities. Why?

Answer: Frankly speaking, I do not know of such statistics. Maybe there is some predisposition to this, because on one hand the Jews have a great internal preparation for the perception of spiritual reality, which comes from the fact that it was already realized in some past incarnations.

But on the other hand this preparation is not in use today, and that leads to some inconsistency between the internal capabilities of a person and the external, rather limited world.

If at the same time a person is engaged in science, art, etc., he achieves great success. But, in principle, his inner potential is not utilized and not realized because there is no connection between him and the world in which he lives unless he receives the Kabbalistic methodology.

If inner content remains unrealized, it is natural that all sorts of problems may arise here. I do not know the statistics, but it is quite possible that there is such a thing.

After all, the more primitive a person is, the less developed mentally, socially, and economically, and he is not under pressure, the easier it is for him. If we take the same statistics between urban and rural residents, or between ordinary people and those who are engaged in science, then it is natural that the higher the person gets, the more problems there are within him.
