Question: How can I help the group to become a raspberry ball?

Answer: You need to be concerned about this as a person upon whom everything depends. And this is indeed the case. Our problem is that we think: “I am one among many thousands!” This is not true, each one is unique! These are not just words but the property of the integral system.

Therefore we cannot force a person to remain in the group and also cannot expel him from it. Each one chooses this through his actions, through his relationship to the group, for he becomes a foundation for human advancement.

Everyone must have a feeling of responsibility, a feeling of personal destiny; not only does the fate of the world depend on me, but that of the whole creation, of all advancement towards the Creator. And this is truly so. When we attain spirituality, we begin to understand that everyone except for me is in a completely corrected state, and I am the only one who wasn’t corrected, and everything acts in such a manner as to show me this in their reflection.

What we see in the world is our reflection: Someone kills someone, someone steals, abuses someone, this is all our ego that is demonstrating itself to us. How can I be relaxed and remove myself from this state?

To feel responsibility for the whole world, this is our obligation. Each one of us, this is the universe! Today the physicists already speak about multiple universes, and this is truly so: Many universes are included one within the other.

Therefore feeling our task is something very important for we are the main participants in creation. On the other hand, we must not panic. Our work is realized correctly only through the group, and nobody is exempt from this. It’s interesting that even those that we attract among the masses will feel this activity as their great mission.

Question: Can the spiritual embryo hasten its own birth even though it is under the domination of the upper force?

Answer: Of course, the embryo can hasten its own birth. This is actually what we speak about all the time. The end of correction is bound to come, but all our work is in hastening it.

If we hasten our birth, will the embryo be born prematurely? No, because we hasten time and not the birth. If the embryo doesn’t develop and is born before it matures, after six months instead of nine, that is a problem. But if the development of nine months takes place in five months, that’s fine. This is called sanctifying time or shortening time, hastening it. This is obvious and typical in spirituality because time changes like in Einstein’s theory of relativity. There is no constant time axis.

Question: Do all my clarifications relate only to my attitude towards the group?

Answer: There is no other way we can see the truth except through the environment. We only feel the difference between the desires, but we don’t feel the Light itself, just as we don’t feel or know what electricity is, but can only measure the effect of some phenomena that goes through the wires. In fact, nothing goes through the wires, but we simply imagine it this way. It is all our subjective perception and therefore we can only distinguish the relative changes.

We see these two states: state one and state two, but the reason for the changes between these two states is a force that is concealed from us. However, by studying these states, we learn about their concealed cause. This is called “from Your actions, we will know You.” Creator operates on us, His actions are fulfilled in us, and according to these actions we get to know Him.

This means that we always feel and measure our only vessels. Even the Light of NRNHY is called by names that we give the changes in our desires.

Question: How can I be sure that I have reached the end of the clarification and that it is right?

Answer: We can measure whether it is right only with regard to others: Does my attitude towards others and my attitude towards myself change in favor of the others? The attitude towards others is a very versatile discernment because we learn about our attitude towards the Creator from our attitude towards others, since it includes everyone. By correcting our 613 desires and performing 613 Mitzvot (commandments), we attain a vessel that is totally corrected in order to bestow and we reach the end of correction. But these 613 desires are always external to us and operate with regard to others.

Now we cannot measure the level and the intensity of the correction that we perform, but later it will become increasingly clearer. The whole correction is in order to bestow outside myself, with regard to vessels, desires, outside myself that seem foreign to me. By changing my attitude towards them, I acquire the attribute of bestowal and discover it as a partial perception of the Creator.

Only my desires and the desires of the other participate in this: one of them less and the other more, and the Upper Light is in a state of absolute rest and fills all of creation. I place my vessel above and the other’s vessels below, and the Light flows from one to the other. I feel which Light fills me and which stream goes through us according to the gap between our levels, the gap between the potential of our desires: Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya, and Yechida.

Question: We are playing with love. But is this a game?

Answer: We actually don’t want to play but to truly feel a feeling like this.

Love is a feeling of mutual integration where I take your desires and agree to fulfill them and you take mine and agree to fulfill them.

We need to understand that our soul is in the others, and therefore this love is essentially egoistic in regard to your true self but not in regard to who you now seem as you.

Question: Suppose that I am ready to nullify myself in regard to the others, but that “imp” that sits inside me follows along with everything and I cannot do anything with it.

Answer: It is very good that you feel this.

Question: But it is some kind of opposition and I need to extinguish the imp.

Answer: In no way, no! We must live with this opposition! We need to love it!

If dark and light were not simultaneous, then we would not attain anything. The Kli is opposite the Light and we need to integrate them with the help of the Masach. It is a terrible inverse, contrast, not like in our world, but between complete hatred and complete love. We cannot even imagine what terrible oppositions we ascend on the cone to the world of Infinity.

And this small imp will grow into a gigantic King Kong, but in essence it is completely equal to the Creator, only it is His backside.

And we must be between both of them because you don’t belong to the characteristics of the Creator; you are not the Creator, and you don’t want to belong to the object that is His opposite, the ego. In that you build yourself between them, you are found simultaneously with two characteristics and rise to such a level that you transform, become seemingly higher than the Creator since you attain Him within the darkness.

Question: Suppose there are completely neutral people in the group, and I don’t react to them at all. And there are those who provoke an intense reaction within me; I simply boil. In which case is this good?

Answer: None of us is like each other. Everyone has different thoughts and feelings. Therefore it is necessary to tolerate everyone. If a person is not against the group, if he agrees to our general rules, tries to follow them, but goes the opposite way all the time, then it is necessary to treat him well. This is because he is not intentionally trying to damage the group. It is not from a bad intention, and we must tolerate him.

Question: How can we accelerate the development of the desire? We are told that we should unite and we even understand it but we still don’t want to.

Answer: The desire is developed by the Light that Reforms. If we wait for it, it will be in its time. If you want it to happen sooner, you should draw the Light unto the desire.

Question: But what if a person hears the message but doesn’t have the inner urge to fulfill it yet? What can he do?

Answer: He should still incorporate into the society and then the desire will come. The society will affect him by the Light and he will want to act.

Problems in the corporeal world are also solved in a similar manner, depending on which society the person is in. One way or another, the environment draws the Light, whether it is in a good direction or not. A person doesn’t wake up by himself and doesn’t lift a finger without the Light. So the question is which environment, which society, is he in, which means what kind of Light shines on him.

If we want to advance by the path of I shall hasten it and not by the path of in its time, we have no choice but to spur on and to summon the Light, then the desire will change and we will finally want to unite.

This is our mission and we should not grieve, brag, or hope for a miracle; we need to yearn and be drawn to the Light, nothing else.

If a person intends to overcome all the obstacles by his own powers, it is worse than stupidity. A person has to overcome himself in order to draw the Light, but not directly: I work in a group, in the right environment, carrying out different ancillary actions, and by this indirect maneuver, I feel the desire and with it I am drawn to the Light once again, and then it comes to me again.

It’s necessary to perform these cycles several times; after all, we cannot do anything by ourselves.

Every person must discover 613 desires in himself and correct them. Only to this is it worthwhile to aspire in dissemination in public life, in everything. Everything that is aimed at this goal, you need to accept. And everything that is against it, you need to cancel. In this there can be no compromise; only the higher law, the adherence of the Kli and the Light, should determine what it is up to us to do.

We hope that we will discover all 613 parts of our desire to receive, and through connection in a group we will succeed in clarifying them, we will see their egoism and begin to work on their correction for bestowal. And this is possible to do only through the Light that Reforms, which is called the Torah.

Therefore all of our existence is possible only thanks to the Torah and the Mitzvot, meaning we must discover the 613 desires of unfounded hatred and correct them to bestowal and love, which is called keeping the Mitzvot. A Mitzva symbolizes that through the Upper Light that is called Torah, we cleave to the Creator and with this we give Him contentment.

This is because today in relation to Him we are like ungrateful children. Imagine to yourselves that your children don’t want to know you, they despise and hate you, are against you in everything, they don’t even want to look in your direction. That is how we behave today in relation to the Creator. And even this is not a sufficient example, because we don’t love our children like the Creator loves us.

Therefore we give the Creator great contentment when we begin to approach Him, to love, to discover our good relationship, opening our heart and soul before Him. All this brings Him great joy. Try to describe and to feel this condition: What terrible sufferings we invite from Above through our behavior today! The Creator is waiting for us to turn our faces towards Him and begin to get close, to recognize Him and agree to accept all of that good that He wants to give to us. And it could be that ultimately we will understand that this is truly the eternal good.

Question: What should I do if I want to control the friends and I see the same desire in others? How do I channel this desire for the benefit of the goal and the group?

Answer: If you want to be like a father and mother towards the friends, then you are concerned about them all the time like children. Please, take control of them as you would with little ones, but only on condition that you act solely for the benefit of the little ones, that their desires, needs, and shortcomings are what determine your thoughts, deeds, and desires.

They are your head, and you are doing what they want. This is called being Aba ve Ima. Please, take control!

The advice from Kabbalists is meant to remind us of the “advantage of Light from the darkness,” that we have the power for this despite the fact that I feel bad in my heart on every level of my advancement, and only during withdrawal will I feel good inside my ego.

So I need to be equipped with the support of the environment. In a bad state when I fall to the domination of the broken desires, the evil inclination, the egoistic intention, I cannot do anything and it is only the environment that operates on me.

This is another outcome of the shattering of the vessels: the division of one vessel into many parts. Now the work can be done in many vessels, in a certain order of one following the other. Thanks to that, I can support others, provide support for myself, and thus advance.

If a person is equipped with the support of the environment, the environment operates on him, especially when he loses his strength. If a person doesn’t prepare the support of the environment, he has nothing to rely or count on. Nothing will help him to awaken, to put the right data into his mind and heart together with the feeling of the shattering. Then he will have nothing but the feeling of the shattering, he will simply fall, cry, or even leave the group and the spiritual path.

In easier states the Creator sends a person a state of double concealment. Then when a person feels bad, he doesn’t remember that it all stems from the Creator, that he should overcome this concealment, and that he totally drowns in the bad feeling. Then he is irritated by everyone and wants to leave everything. But he doesn’t leave yet since he understands that he has no choice and there is nowhere he can escape to. This is called double concealment, but not complete detachment from the Creator yet, since in detachment, a person becomes totally “free” from spirituality.

After the double concealment, a person is somehow brought back if he has invested his strength in the group. Then he is somehow reminded that there is a purpose to life, that it is still worthwhile to work since everything else passes and disappears but this goal, which is eternal, and a person must attain it no matter what, so he returns.

Question: What does it mean that the Masach (screen) broke? How can that be?

Answer: All states refer only to a person. Reality exists only with regard to the person who apprehend it.

Suppose that I were in a state of holiness now, in the intention of “in order to bestow,” and that I have arranged all my intentions, desires, and everything that is revealed in me according to the restriction, Masach, and the Returning Light. Suddenly, I have new, thicker desires, which are greater and stronger, so the old state seems to be destroyed and the new, greater desires dominate me, and I feel that I am in a ruined world.

This is another question: Is it destroyed? Because the moment it actually undergoes a change, I don’t think that it is destroyed. I think that I follow the Klipa (shell) and that I will enjoy it, and that I must incorporate in the shell, to feel it, to be in contact with it, and to be connected to it.

It says that the contact with the Klipa should only be momentary. This depends on my preparation, but I must feel it. So, the moment I feel that my life is good and that the desire to receive delights me and that everything is fine, it is because I actually am being thrown into the depths of the Klipa, and, what is more, I don’t even realize that it is a Klipa. I discern that it is something good.

Then, if I continue, if I have mutual guarantee, the forces of the group operate on me and I come out of the domination of the Klipa. If I don’t, I cannot come out.

This means that, every time a new desire appears, the old state is destroyed.

Thus, I ascend the levels, and in every state I attain a state of holiness and build the temple out of my vessel. Then, it is destroyed, and I begin to build another temple, and then another and another. We go through such states, and eventually, we attain what is called the Temple of Holiness and, in contrast to it, the shattering and the destruction that we go through in the process of preparation. It is impossible to reveal the Creator, wholeness, and to attain the thought of creation without going through these states.

The entire system of creation is experiencing negative shocks because its parts are not functioning together in harmony. There is a part that is called Aba (father) and a part called Ima (mother).

Ima is the characteristic of complete bestowal, Hafetz Hesed (absolute mercy). The characteristic of Aba is the higher intelligence, Ohr Hochma, the source of life. These two parts must exist in harmony between them.

There is also Keter or the Creator, the thought, idea, program, prior to some kind of realization below.

Ima must make the infrastructure, a place for receiving the Light of the Creator. But this is only possible to the degree that we, the souls, ask her for this since she is found in a state of absolute Hafetz Hesed and doesn’t want anything for herself.

Both Aba and Ima suffer with overflowing love for the children, but they are unable to do anything because the children are not asking for this. Instead they ask for something else entirely opposite to the parents, something against them.

Just as in our world, if children asked to taste alcoholic beverages, drugs, and cigarettes, a mother and father, by not allowing them to do this, would suffer both because they cannot give a child something good and also because he is asking for something bad.

In order not to cause such double suffering to  AVI (Aba ve Ima) in our spiritual advancement, we must specifically ask for what we really need: love and bestowal.
