Think More about Love

294.4Question: I have a desire to love, and when I come to the point where I can express this love, a strong fear appears and I feel I am afraid to love. Why does this fear appear?

Answer: Fear appears from the fact that you are afraid that you will not get an answer. But the fact is that we always get an answer.

The most important thing is not even an answer, but the fact that we have a question to the Creator, some kind of appeal to Him. Basically, this is what the Creator awakens in us.

Question: How do you tear yourself away from fear in order to go toward love?

Answer: Think more about love, and you will see that gradually the fear disappears. It is necessary only in order to further develop love.

How Can We Awaken Trembling?

261Question: It feels that when we work in a group, we only feel love. How can we awaken trembling?

Answer: You should think about how you will be more connected with each other so much so that no circumstances will separate you, and be afraid that love will disappear, that you will break it, that you will forget about it.

Question: How do we use fear correctly?

Answer: Use it so that it does not allow you to approach things you do not need on the spiritual path and does not tear you away from things that help you to move toward the goal.

Strengthen Faith in the Creator

534Question: The basis of our work is faith above reason. The more faith we have, the more light there is. We should not take the attainment of the lights of the Torah as a basis.

How can you not be impressed by this in your mind so that the ability to work in the quality of faith increases?

Answer: By working only on bestowing to the Creator, you will receive as much as you want.

Question: How can we use the light of the Torah correctly to continue to strengthen faith in the Creator?

Answer: To do this you must hold on to your friends, work together, and constantly raise yourself.

Questions about Spiritual Work—82

281.02Question: Why is the desire to receive, which should be corrected from degree to degree, in a deplorable state, like dust under the feet of the righteous?

Answer: Because the desire itself is not to be corrected, the intention is.

Question: What is this state in the ten when the righteous in me sees the end of the wicked in me?

Answer: Enter this state and you will see.

Question: What does it mean in the ten when the right side of a friend stands in front of my left side, and vice versa? How to work with it?

Answer: If, even though we are one against the other, we still combine our efforts to get closer to each other, then we get a full interaction.

Question: The wicked always justify themselves. How can we move from this state to justifying the Creator?

Answer: Start talking to each other, and then together you can realize that the only thing you are doing is criticizing the Creator.

Better Not to Hesitate

275Question: Each of us undergoes spiritual development individually. Is there a possibility for us to unite our souls and go together?

Answer: Yes, that is exactly what you must do.

Question: And then there will be no secrets?

Answer: Secrets may still exist, but they will not hinder collective unity and progress.

Question: When can we move to such a level?

Answer: Right now, there is no need to wait. You should constantly strive for greater and greater connection between you and then between you and the Creator.

963.4Question: In spirituality, we must start working before we gain strength. What kind of strength are we talking about?

Answer: We must do spiritual work, even if we do not have the strength—unite with each other or do something for the sake of others, for the sake of bestowal. We ask for strength, even though we have no idea how to do it.

Question: It says that the material order already corresponds to the final correction. How can the order in corporeality correspond to the final correction if everything is not corrected?

Answer: In corporeality, strength precedes action, and in spirituality, action precedes strength. But yet this is not tangible to us, and not entirely clear.

Question: How can one find a balance between spirituality and corporeality to avoid deviating too much in either direction?

Answer: If you think only about spirituality, you can do whatever you want in corporeality.

Think About What Should Be Now

528.01Question: When we gather together for workshops and various events, how do we understand that we have attracted the reforming light?

Answer: If you connect with each other and in your common desire strive together toward the Creator, then what you receive from this is a consequence of your common Kli, a common soul. We must strive for this.

Question: At this stage, we seem to be rubbing our hearts, trying to open up to each other, meaning, to become like one soul.

Will there come a time when we will have to weigh every word and action?

Answer: Do not think about the future. Think about what should be now; open your hearts to each other.

The View from the Left Line

571.08Question: What is the correct support when it comes to the left line? Is it that a person checks his true state?

Answer: The left line is a line of self–criticism in which we keep an open mind about our state and scrutinize it.

Therefore, before turning on the left line, a person should check himself well and position himself correctly. Only then can he look at what is happening through the left line.

Question: How can I convey love to my friends in the left line?

Answer: Despite the fact that you are inclined to criticize them, try to convey your love to them.

Try To Work for the Sake of Bestowal

528.04Question: What is this state when there is a desire to move from one ten to another? If there is a flaw here, what is it, and how should we treat it?

Answer: You should treat it negatively. A person who is in a ten can only increase his or her bestowal to the same ten.

Question: It is easier for me to connect and justify the ten in my thoughts than to participate in a virtual meeting because there I feel the rejection. What is the problem?

Answer: The problem is that you do not want to perform a spiritual action in your connection with the ten. Try to work for the sake of bestowal. It does not really matter how it turns out. You cannot check it yet, but it will work out eventually.

Question: How can you understand that during a workshop the ten brought contentment to the Creator, and did not just amuse their egos?

Answer: It depends on how it feels about what it discovers, either the state of faith above reason or reason above faith.

When Failure Becomes Success

49.01Question: When obstacles or difficulties arise (which the Creator creates), how does one examine whether it’s given to strengthen oneself or whether to just avoid it? How can you determine that you shouldn’t bang your head against the wall?

Answer: Such a thing cannot be! Everything is always directed only toward creating unity with the group and with the Creator. Only in this way can we determine the correctness of our actions.

Anything that leads us to unity with the group, humanity, and the Creator is correct, while anything contrary to this is incorrect.

Thus, I do everything, as well as those mechanical tasks that I am obligated to do that are required by my boss, spouse, or someone else.

But even here, I apply the correct intention; I do this in order to perform certain mechanical actions in this world and attach the necessary intentions to them, for what purpose do I even exist. And then all these seemingly completely unnecessary actions for spiritual ascent become useful.

Question: Suppose, in a certain situation, we perceive something as a negative influence; we feel bad and it’s hard for us. How do we still understand when it’s worth putting in even more effort, or whether we shouldn’t tackle it at all? You once said: “Apparently the Creator does not allow this to happen.”

Answer: This can only be said after you have absolutely done everything and nothing worked out, then it shouldn’t have worked out! So failure itself becomes success, the most correct result.

But how do I know that it should be like this, that this is correct? After I have exerted all efforts, I have no problems with what happens! I don’t evaluate anything at all, and it turned out as it turned out. The main thing is that I maximally invested myself as much as I could.
